    Hi everyone!

After 5 days travelling we finally arrived in Ethiopia. For most people know as the land of the superior long distance runners! The people who live their also look like these athletes. Skinny, long and athletic. Their also very black and poor.

A little history. Ethiopia was a monarchy since its history and one of the oldest sites of human existence. With the colonization of Africa. Ethiopia was the only country that kept their sovereignty as a recognized independent country.

In the big cities you feel the organization in comparison with the other African countries. There is police everywhere, and you feel relatively save.

Last night we went for dinner in a local restaurant, we ate like 4 chickens for a price of 1 euro! I just love Ethiopia !

This was my last blog, tomorrow I’m going home. Back to Belgium!

    Yoooo

    Hello everyone,

After we passed Iraq, were now travelling through Jordan. As the name says, it lays next to the river Jordan.  The country borders are Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Syria and Israel. Their also part of the Arabic liga. And their one of the only countries that keeps diplomatic contact with Israel,  which is very rare.

We were very scared we need to pass the border. The army was there and we were treated like hostages. One of my friends has been completely body searched. A scary experience!

When we finally passed the border, we went for some sightseeing . Jordan has plenty of old roman structures , and nature. The temperature in Jordan is extremely hot to 40 degrees in the morning!

So that was it for this week!

    Yo

    Hi everyone,

it’s been a while, but we finally made it in Iraq.
as everybody knows its still quiet dangerous for foreigners, but we really wanted to see this country.

So Iraq lays in western Asia, it’s very mountainous and got a lot of desserts, such as the Syrian and Arabian one. The

In history Iraq was the center of the Arabic empire. But with the Mongol invasions, it all became part of Mongol empire.

The people are as always very friendly, but you see that they are closed to European, or American looking people. With the war they don’t rust white people anymore. Only the people in the mountains were friendly and gave us water and food.

Next week were travelling through the Jordan region.

    See you next week
