as of yesterday we can watch TV! You see, patience can really pay off.
As a result, I saw part of the Yankees game and part of an NBA basketball game. Wow, do I like Digiturk. Now, we have all the American sports and a lot of soccer. And I don't need to say that Turks really, really, really like soccer. So, yeah, I'm trilled...
The apartment is almost problem-free. Only some minor issues need to be fixed. So we made a lot of progress this week.
Out with the old and in with the new. No more New York but a fresh perspective on the city of Istanbul. Last Wednesday our last shipment arrived. (I didn't know that Brussels was so far away )
So finally we have all our stuff. We now have 2 big TV's but are still waiting for the cable to be connected.
The weather has picked up and we are enjoying the sun on our beautiful terrace with view of the Bosporus. Haaaa, life can be hard...
Yesterday we visited the Blue Mosque and the Aya Sophia. Amazing buildings, especially if you consider that they were built in the 6th century. Frank took some pictures and we will show them in our next message.
If you want to visit us (no more 8 hour flights for our Belgian friends), our B&B is now officially back in business. September is already fully booked. Let us know and we will check our calendar.
