The wedding of Princess Madeleine of Sweden and Christopher OâNeill
There were many more guests who attended the
wedding of Princess Madeleine of Sweden and Christopher ONeill this afternoon
in Stockholm, Sweden.Princess Mette-Marit of Norway: The princess was my
favourite of the guests, looking divine wearing a soft pastel-blue Emilio Pucci
tiered lace gown with a delicate cape. The look was styled with a matching
clutch and amethyst tiara.Princess Charlene of Monaco: The princess, who
attended the ceremony without her husband Prince Albert, wore another Akris gown
during this royal celebration. On this occasion she wore a strapless ruched
mocha coloured peplum gown which she styled with a chiffon shawl draped over her
shoulder while carrying a crocodile clutch in the same mocha hue.
Princess Mary of Denmark: The princess opted for a
vibrant hue wearing a bright pink lace gown with a matching chiffon cape
featuring a satin trim. A blue-and-yellow sash, royal order family brooch,
silver clutch and a stunning diamond tiara completed the look.Princess Tatiana
of Greece: The princess selected a gown in the same pastel-blue hue as
Mette-Marit, however, Tatianas gown was strapless with a ruched bodice and
flowing skirt and train. She of course added some sparkle to her look with drop
diamond earrings, and a stunning tiara, while a navy sash and striped clutch
provided the finishing touches.
Crown Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece: We all
know that arriving to a wedding wearing white is a no-no, however, Princess
Marie-Chantal of Greece looks divine in her simple white gown with an
embellished neckline and waist, which was styled with a tiara, navy blue sash
and silver clutch.Crown Princess Stephanie of Luxembourg: With a shimmering
silver sparkle glimmer off Crown Princess Stephanie of Luxembourgs gown, Im
not a fan of her gold jewels.
Princess Marie of Denmark: My second favourite
from the guest list was Princess Marie of Denmark in her pretty pink gown. The
lightly embellished gown with a nipped in waist was styled with a blue sash,
matching pink clutch and, of course, a tiara.Sofia Hellqvist: This lady caught
my eye. Firstly because I thought she selected a white gown it is in fact
pale-lavender. Secondly because I loved the simplicity of her look, which she
styled with a crystal clutch and gold-leaf earrings. Had she opted for silver
earrings, this wouldve been high on my list of favourites.Sophie, Countess of
Wessex: The Brits were represented at the event by Prince Edward and Sophie,
Countess of Wessex. Sophie decorated her pale pink gown and matching clutch bag
with a blue-and-red Royal Victorian Order sash.Queen Silvia of Sweden: The
Queen, aka the mother-of-the-bride, wore a jade-coloured silk organza gown with
embroidered silk lace and Swarovski crystals. She styled it with Queen Sofias
tiara, plus she wore the Order of the Seraphim on a ribbon with a brilliant
grand star.
Princess Martha Louise of Norway: The princess
also wore an Emilio Pucci gown. When we think of Pucci, we think of ultra mini,
uber sexy dresses worn by the likes of Kylie Minogue and Ciara, however, Peter
Dundas proves he can make a gown fit for a princess by dressing two royals for
this grand occasion.Princess Anna of Bavaria: Opting for a more vibrant purple
hue, the princess subtle chiffon gown was styled with silver accessories.
