PREFACE - Voorwoord NAS f.c is a local Gambian community based football team situated in the coastal village of Gunjur in the Southern Kombo District of the West Coast Region of the Gambia about 60km from the capital Banjul.
It emanated from the Young Farmers Association (a young community based organization of young people mainly teenagers including both boys and girls whose aim is to empower youths and abstain them from influence of drugs and prostitution since July 26th 2002. ..................

NAS f.c. is een plaatselijk voetbal team te Gunjur . Een klein dorpje dat zo’n 60km is verwijderd van de hoofdstad Banjul en gelegen te Gambia West-Afrika. Deze club is ontstaan uit de Young Farmers Association (een vereniging die jongeren – zowel meisjes als jongens – op het rechte pad probeert te houden - ver weg van drugs, tienerzwangerschappen, werkloosheid, spijbelen, criminaliteit,… ) Deze werd opgericht op 26 juli 2002. NAS f.c. draagt nog steeds al deze morele waarden hoog in het vaandel en is tot op de dag van vandaag meer dan alleen maar voetbal. Hun manier van werken onderscheidt hen van de andere lokale voetbalteams in Gambia.
