HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!
My first Thanksgiving was amazing!! I had to wake up at 5AM to go to the parade in New York! We arrived at 6.30AM, we thought we were early but there were already so many people. When there is a parade in New York it is horrible to walk around, You cannot cross any street, when you ask a police officer if you can cross, they something like ' you have to go to 42th street' and than you think 'alright, that is only two blocks away.' So you arrive at 42th street and ask another police officer if you can cross, they answer with the sentence 'You have to go to 44th street.' alright a little more annoyed you try to walk two more blocks. You finally arrive and again you ask if you can cross the street and they answer with the horrible sentence 'You have to walk to 42th street." After an hour of trying to find a decent spot where we could see, we finally found one, we had to wait a long time. The parade was amazing, the floats were so big, I mean I knew they were big but I didn't expect them to be that big. Huge. Beautiful. I wanted to take a lot of pictures but it was freezing cold and snowing so my hands were frozen. I saw a lot a lot of celebrities, just like: Lucy Hale, Nick Jonas, Idina Menzel, Meghan trainor, ...
After the amazing parade, I went to a host family for a thanksgiving dinner. The family was so nice, there were a lot of people, 6 little children, and 12 adults. the food was great; turkey, salmon, yam, brussels sprouts, cranbery sauce, salade, stiffing, ... and the desert was; pumkin pie, pecan pie, chocolat pecan pie, apple pie, ice cream, ...
