Story Behind Jonas Brothers' Duet Song With Miley Cyrus Shared
'I played it for Miley and we realized that if we just changed the lyrics a bit, we could make it more of our story,' Nick Jonas says of Jonas Brothers' duet song with Miley Cyrus.
Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers has opened up the story behind the making of "Before the Storm", the band's duet song with Miley Cyrus, to Twist Magazine. "There's two versions of the song basically, one that was written just for our record that we sang originally," he starts his explanation.
"And then I played it for Miley and we realized that if we just changed the lyrics a bit, we could make it more of our story, kind of share that side of us, and it could be great," the youngest member of the Disney teen band reveals more to Twist Magazine. "So, we did. She came in and she and I sat down at the piano and just worked on lyrics a bit, tweaked it up, and it turned out great!"
"Before the Storm" is a song set to be listed in Jonas Brothers' new album "Lines, Vines and Trying Times". Part of the song's lyrics is read, "Standing here but you don't see me/I'd give it all for that to change/And I don't want to lose her/Don't want to let her go."
Beside joining forces with Miley Cyrus, Jonas Brothers are also expected to team up with rapper Common and gospel/rock singer Johny Lang for the record which will be dropped worldwide on June 16.

Miley Cyrus has reportedly split from her model man Justin Gaston. The pop sensation posted a cryptic message on her Twitter.com blog last week, which read "my heart is in two... and its all because of you," which the teenage singer/actress passed off as "a song i am starting to write," but insiders claim it was a message to fans about her romance.
And Cyrus tells UsMagazine.com, "He's (Gaston) got his own thing going on."
Meanwhile, in another Twitter.com post, Gaston wrote, "Haven't been this miserable in a looong time."
Cyrus has since jetted off to Georgia, where she will shoot new movie The Last Song.

Though playing it coy for several times before when asked about her possible romance to Taylor Lautner, Selena Gomez apparently had enough of the circulating rumors as she recently blasted the speculation. The actress who plays an insecure tomboy in "Princess Protection Program" insisted that she and the "Twilight" heartthrob are only friends. "He's one of my good friends," she said in response to the recent reports that linked her to Lautner. She furthermore added, "I'm single. Definitely single."
Speculation of romance between the two teenage stars surfaced after the two were spotted spending time together for more than one occasion in Vancouver, Canada. Gomez was filming "Beezus and Ramona", while Lautner was involved in the production of "The Twilight Saga's New Moon".
