Hello people from Surapinpittaya.

Sometimes we eat rice once in a week.

Along with the rice, we eat chicken and curry sauce.

We eat chocolate and all kinds of chips. There are a lot of beers here in Belgium.

Our specialty is waffles.

Curious how insects taste like...

We never eat bugs...

Our New Year

New Year

Hello pupils from Surapinpitaya.

We celebrate New Year together with our family by eating all together.

When it's almost twelve o'clock, we count from 10 to zero... and than we wish everybody a ''Happy New Year"

(or "Gelukkig Nieuwjaar") and we have firework! Very beautiful.

Sports

Hello students in Thailand.

Examples of sports in Belgium are: athletics, basketball, golf, tennis, dancing,s wimming, cycling, horse riding, volleyball, badminton,...

But the most popular sport is football/ soccer. There are over 16 teams in the highest league!

The weather

Hello Surapinpittaya school.

In spring, it's usually rainy everyday and somtimes we are lucky and it's sunny! Like yesterday.

Our summers are different every year, somtimes it's 25 or 30 degrees and sunny. One week later it's rainy, and just 15 degrees.

But that's typical here in Belgium...

Our teachers

Hello students!

Our schoolyear starts at the first of September and ends at the 28th of June.

We have NINE teachers. We have different teachers for almost every subject.

Miss Nicky teaches Dutch, English and history. She is our 'classteacher', so she is responsible for our class.

Our clothes

Dear pupils of Surapinpittaya

We don't have to wear a school uniform, we can wear a dress, skirt, top,... or jeans and pants. The clothes that fitt our personality, our favourite colours and our own taste of clothes. BUT we can't come to school in a beach outfit.

In gym we have to wear a gym outfit, that's a typical T-shirt of our school and shorts.

Our Symbols

Hello

The Belgian symbols are: 'Manneken Pis' and 'Atomium', these are monuments in Brussels.

We also have our Belgian flag and a different one for Flanders. This is a black lion on a yellow flag.

Typical Belgian food:

We have chocolate and French fries. A lot of Belgian vegetables and fruit, like apples, lettuce, strawberries...

Our schedule

Hello pupils of Surapinpittaya!

We are pupils from Belgium in Hamme. Our shoolday doesnt start with the national anthem.

On Monday ,Tuesday and Friday school starts at 8.10 till 15.15, on Wednesday school also starts at 8.10 but ends at 11u45.Thursday school also starts 8.10 but it ends at 16u05.

These are examples of some subjects we have at school: Geography, mathematics, PE, French, arts
