Nog één maand en dan is het verhaal van 'Sara' volledig verteld... De fans van de populaire vtm-telenovelle hoeven echter niet te treuren. vtm brengt de volledige reeks (200 afleveringen) uit op dvd!
Het wordt een echt collector's item met naast de 200 afleveringen ook nog een boekje met unieke foto's en tal van 'Sara'-gadgets. De 'Sara'-box wordt het ideale eindejaarsgeschenk voor de fans. 'De dvd's komen pas in het najaar, waarschijnlijk begin november op de markt', aldus vtm-woordvoerder Mark Vanlombeek.
Vlaamse tv-series doen het al een tijdje goed op dvd. Zo scoort de VRT al langer mooie verkoopcijfers met de release van oude series op dvd. Productiehuis Studio 100 oogst dan weer succes met de 'Mega Mindy'-dvd's.
Twee jaar geleden bracht vtm ook al de 'Familie'-dvdbox op de markt, waarvan vlotjes 20.000 exemplaren over de toonbank gingen. Bij vtm vermoeden ze dat de 'Sara'-box nog een stuk beter zal verkopen.
Jullie zullen waarscheinlijk gisteren allemaal met spanning naar de tv hebben gekeken om het laatste deel van Sara niet te missen!! Vonden jullie het ook zo mooi?jaja,Simon en Sara zijn getrouwd!!Het was echt zo mmooiii!!!!

Zaterdag 21 juni beheerste Sara het stadsbeeld van Gent. Meer dan 30.000 fans zagen de acteurs van de serie in levende lijve.
Tijdens talrijke activiteiten konden de fans hun favoriete acteurs in de binnenstad begroeten. Zo waren er verschillende sessies waar fans hun favoriete personage ontmoetten voor een handtekening en een foto.
Later op de dag zagen 600 fans in avant-premiere de finale van Sara in het NTG.
Ook voor de look-a-like-wedstrijd kwamen heel wat kandidaten opdagen. Hun foto's kan je bekijken op de website. En je kan zelfs stemmen op de beste Look-a-Like. Na de fotoshoot mochten de kandidaten ook nog eens meedoen aan de modeshow op het Gentse Sint-Baafsplein.
Aflevering van 26/05/2008 om 18u25 Michèle is verplicht om de parfumlijn verder uit te werken met Arne. Zijn stijl is in niets te vergelijken met die van Lieven en ze ergert zich blauw aan zijn waanzinnige ideeën. Ook Sara is geïrriteerd wanneer Simon haar in de cafetaria benadert en haar van zijn goede intenties probeert te overtuigen. Ze beschuldigt hem er van nog altijd op twee paarden te wedden en zet hem op zijn plaats. Helena dringt bij haar broer aan om de ruzie met Britt bij te leggen.
Aflevering van 27/05/2008 om 18u25 Ellen en Patrick gaan samen met Lut en Hans op restaurant. Aan tafel is de spanning te snijden en bij iedereen gaan de ogen open. Lieven bespreekt met Simon en met Michèle het aanbod van Sara. Het pleidooi van Helena is niet in dovemansoren gevallen bij Alexander en hij gaat eindelijk met Britt praten. Sara weet dat ze niet in haar eentje Présence kan redden en ze wil weten of ze op Helena kan rekenen.
Aflevering van 28/05/2008 om 18u25 Helena geeft aan Margot toe dat ze het er nog altijd moeilijk mee heeft dat Sara aan het hoofd staat van Présence. Ze is dan ook zeer benieuwd met welke strategieën Sara op de proppen zal komen om het bedrijf weer gezond te maken. Margot en verpleger Gert bespreken met Simon de voordelen en de risico's die verbonden zijn aan de harttransplantatie van Leon.
Aflevering van 29/05/2008 om 18u25 Sara wil dat Marnix en Nils aanwezig zijn op de stafvergadering omdat ook de plannen met de collecties op de agenda staan. Sara beseft dat het nieuws zal inslaan als een bom en daarom licht ze Marnix vooraf in. Patrick heeft er spijt van dat hij is weggelopen uit het restaurant en hij maakt zijn opwachting aan het bureau van Ellen. Britt is verrast wanneer Margot haar feliciteert met haar zwangerschap.
Aflevering van 30/05/2008 om 18u25 Helena ziet haar extra verantwoordelijkheden als personeelsdirecteur helemaal zitten en ze wil vooral herstructureren op het hoofdkantoor. Thomas meent het dat hij Vlaanderen achter zich wil laten en hij zoekt op het internet naar een job in het buitenland. Simon wil van Sara weten of hij ooit nog kansen zal krijgen om zich te bewijzen.
Sara is het verhaal van Sara De Roose, een jonge vrouw van bescheiden afkomst. Ze is een briljante economiste met een hart van goud. Saras grootste gebrek is dat ze lelijk is. Daarom kijkt niemand naar haar. Ze heeft aan den lijve ondervonden dat romantiek voor haar alleen iets is om van te dromen.

Sara, grote winnaar tijdens de Nacht van de Vlaamse Televisiesterren
De telenovella Sara werd tijdens de uitreiking van de eerste Vlaamse Televisiesterren bekroond met maar liefst drie awards.
Het grote publiek verkoos Sara als het Populairste Televisieprogramma en Veerle Baetens ging lopen met de Vlaamse Televisiester voor de Populairste Televisiepersoonlijkheid.
De leden van de Vlaamse Televisie Academie verkozen Veerle Baetens ook als Beste actrice. Veerle nam met veel genoegen De Vlaamse Televisiester 2008 voor de Beste Acteur of Actrice in ontvangst. "Dit is een prijs voor alle Sara's van de hele wereld...", aldus de gelauwerde actrice.
De uitreiking van de Vlaamse Televisiesterren is een initiatief van de Vlaamse Televisie Academie, een onafhankelijke organisatie die innovatief en creatief talent samenbrengt en stimuleert in het Vlaamse medialandschap.

Ze doet auditie en laat een grote indruk achter door geweldige kleren te dragen, door op haar te handen te lopen en met een jo-jo te spelen. Ze krijgt de rol en zo beginnen de opnames van Lizzie McGuire. Lizzie is een tiener van 13/14 die alle tienerproblemen die elke tiener meemaakt. Zo wil je gaan cheerleaden, word ze afgewezen door vriendjes, vriendschap en de eerste kus. Samen met haar twee vrienden Gordo en Miranda maakt ze de eerste, tweede en derde klas mee. De serie is een groot succes, dat blijkt uit dat het een award krijgt op de Kids Choice Awards. Nadat de serie is afgelopen beslist Disney een film te maken, the Lizzie McGuire Movie. Disney besluit Hilary weer te vragen voor een film en nu is het voor Cadet Kelly, een leuke tiener film.
Zangcarrière Maar Hilary houdt het niet alleen bij acteren en besluit ook te gaan zingen. Ze begint met een kerstcd waar ze onder andere met Christina Milian en LilRomeo samenwerkt. Naast haar nummer I Cant Wait op de Lizzie McGuire Movie vindt Hilary het tijd worrden voor het echte werk. Haar debuut album Metamorphosis komt in augustus 2003 in Amerika in de winkels.
