So when I arrived, there were a girl and a boy, they were sitting on a stone wall.... and I had the impression that they were holding hands. I apporached them and asked if they could speak some english. Gosh, I was lucky, they indeed spoke english.

I intruduced myself as a reporter of the Daily News .... smiles .... (why does people always think that I am working for a big newspaper, and that their story will be read by thousands of readers. I have my little blog... and I am happy if some friends of mine just read the stories I write down.)

Nevertheless... the girl told me that her name is Nikki... and that she met Blazin in the Real World, on an event in Hawai. That he is a soldier U.S. Army and that she is an event organizer. They fell in love, had some wonderfull time together, but then Blazin had to go back to the States... and Nikki went back to her home in the Philippines.

So Nikki and Blazin, were separated by the Sea, and by immigration laws. Of course they skyped... of course they loved each other.... but they missed some physical touch.... till someone told them about Second Life. They both made an account... and it was their first day together, sitting on that little stone wall on a land somewhere in this big big pixelish world named: Second Life. They had not learned yet how to live their lives in this new world... but they were together... and that was what counted for them.

I was so touched by their story... I had the tears in my eyes... Of course I know that this is not the good attitude for a reporter; but I dont want to be too professional, and to be honnest here I was really flurried. Nikki told me that after their romance she gave birth to a little girl... her name is Z.

I dont know why, but she didn't want to give me the full name of the little girl .... but she gave me a picture of herself with Blazin ... and I took a picture of them in Second Life , sitting on that stone wall; with my brand new Nikon. 

I dont know how your story will end.... I hope you will continue to meet in Second Life first... and that one day you will be together , the three of you , not only in this imaginary world , but also in the Real World .

About 11 years ago , I found a new world on my computer ..... it was created by Linden Labs.... and it is called "Second Life"

So I lived and live my life in Second Life... and a few days ago I managed to smuggle my Nikon into this pixelish world. I bought myself ... a new outfit .... made a business card : "Isalia Michalak, reporter for the Daily News" and started my career as a reporter .
