    Today we had our 'first' meeting with the iPad (I'm not including the session I had with the 3th year students).

    This introductory session was very interesting, and the sheet we received to use as a guide was very helpful.
    We were able to use some of the apps which could be used when teaching English, or when you are improving your own English.

    Of course, we were lucky that our teacher had already done some research, and had installed the apps for us to use.

    But as takes about 10 hours to find 1 interesting app, which can be used to study/teach English, it really is time-consuming.

    Using the iPad was very simple, and the device itself is really user-friendly. (This doesn't mean I'm pro-Apple, but as I had to ability to test both an Ipad and a Samsung Galaxy Tab (and other Android-tablets) during the summer holiday, I can say that the iPad is the better one)

    Ofcourse, the fact that my generation has had the advantage of being raised while the world of computertechnology was having a tremendous growth, leads to the fact that we are able to use these new technologies as if we knew them for months, even years.

    Now, would I suggest (future) teachers to buy an iPad, and make use of it in their lessons?

    Future sessions will help me to check on which the device, which is still just a tool, is giving a boost to the lessons, and if it is worth the price.
