Opleiding Marine personeel op Uboten
Op de U-boot 664 waren er operators werkzaam die hun opleiding gekregen hadden in het Hoofdkwartier te St-Michiels. Dit waren, Dobberstein - Doerell Peter en Dubbert Ernst. In een ondervragingsrapport na het zinken van de U 664 in 1943 werd het volgende gemeld. Inteerogation of survivors from U-664 sunk on 9 august 1943 German Naval Radio Intelligence ( B-dienst) U-664 is the first U-boat from with "B-dienst" operatives have been captured. Personnel Third patrol A radio intelligence operative named " DOBBERSTEIN" was obtained from headquarters located St Andries near Bruges,Belgium. Dobberstein was assigned the rating "Artilleriemaat ( gunners mate 3rd). The purpose of thes was to confuse U-664's crew as to exact nature of this functions. On return from his patrol on 8 June 1943, Dobberstein and the communications officer of the U-664 immediatly report to Berlin and turned over all material obtained. Headquarters of the service are in the Castle Terlinden just outside the vollage of St Andries near Bruges, Belgium. The headquarters are connected with D/F stations at Ostends, Belgium, Maassluis, Holland and Le Touquet, France.
