Floyd J. Smith, 86, formerly of Ruscombmanor Township, Berks
County, died Wednesday, January 26, 2011, in the Lutheran Home at Topton. He
was the husband of Mary A. (Schenck) Smith. They were married on December 28,
1946. Born in York, on March 11, 1924, he was a son of the late Gordon H., Sr.
and Anna (Augsburg) Smith. He graduated from William Penn Senior High School,
York, in 1941 and the U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, Md., with a Bachelor of
Science in Electrical Engineering.
