I got a couple of pictures of Fitch today, almost 15 weeks, long and leggy, but that will change in a few months. They will probably start loosing their milk teeth soon, so be careful with retrieving for the next 2-3 months so they don't hurt themself when picking up things and then get a bad memory. Obedience and fun stuff and a good raw bone once in awhile will get them through the changing period. Also check the teeth once in awhile, because they should be used to that and then also see if they come in good and do not overlap each other.
Kilt at 13 weeks, Sure looks like a different puppy, then the one we flew over to Atlanta at the end of April. He is taking puppy classes and according to Mid, is doing very well.Totally accepted by the other 4 dogs in the pack. It just takes time and they always get accepted. Need some update pictures from the rest. I am sure you have some, so send them on.!!
We got some new pictures of Kilt from Atlanta. Very hot there now, 34 degreees, so a lot of relaxing!! He really changed from a fluffy puppy to a mini golden!!!
Here some pictures of Fitch-Whispering Oaks Kane, who likes to sleep in and under things also and digging in the yard and just chilling out there with this hot weather we have had and he and Kilt are swimming like pro's!!
We have this weekend Eli's father Bronco here for a visit with a son of Eli from her first litter with Shift and Gibbs brother, Gambler, while Oliver, the owner of them is judging a Working Test in Zichem , Belgium. Some pictures are added and you see the resemblance between Eli and Bronco. Bronco will be 11 years old this fall.
I received two new pictures from Fin and will add them. He is doing well and growing good, like all the reports I am getting from the other ones!! No stickers yet, so will call tomorrow, to see why it is taking so long!!! Has anyone received them yet????
Well the last day I was in Atlanta, John & Verna, our dear friends for years, hosted a low country boil!!! They had invited lots of our friends, so it was a great get together and the weather was pefect. I had no idea what it was and what to expect. John, Mid's husband cooked and was helped by his Mom and John and Verna and Barb. It consisted of: Crablegs, Scallops, Shrimp, Corn, Potatoes and Sausage and wonderful garlic bread on the grill. And bananapudding for dessert.
Meanwhile Kilt visited with everyone and finally collapsed in his crate. What an end to a wonderful stay. Thanks again everyone>
I received an email that new pictures of Kaya were put on their homepage ,so will put them on for all to see. It seems that she RUNS a lot but she also SLEEPS a lot everywhere it seems, with their beagle, ok not so unusual, but on the second shelf of the coffetable!!!! and in the basement in between old stuff and then a couple of other pictures. www.morris-kaya.jimdo.com for more info on Kaya and the other dogs of Katrin & Karin!!
Well Kilt went to Atlanta where Eli's brother
Dutch also is ( so he is the uncle) and I got to spend an extra 5 days with him
after everyone left .He was a joy to be with and will be enjoying the company
of 4 other dogs and lots of people around him who will teach him the good and
the bad. He will start puppyclass in two weeks and is home trained in the
meantime. I will be seeing him again in September and same with Dutch. So
looking forward to that and spending lots of time there. Good luck Mid, with
the classes and enjoy him!!!
Some pictures to add from Kilt and his new
owners Mid and hubby John
Here we have the pictures of Whispering Oaks Kirsch- Roux's owner Phil with her and some pictures of her after a 15 hour stay in her kennel, during the plane ride and the before and after!!
Whispering Oaks " Kate"- Bente lives in Friesland in the north of Holland with Rones & Maaike. They have had goldens in the past and also Rones competed in Fieldtrials and Working tests at a high level. No other dogs anymore now, so starting all over with Bente and is already working with her. Rones & Maaike I need a picture of you two with Bente or some updates, when you have time. Good luck with her training!!
Whispering Oaks KIRSCH-"Roux" went with us in the plane to Atlanta for a long flight, but she did great and her new owner Phil was waiting for her for a long drive to Philadelphia. She will be living with 6 other dogs on a bunch of acres, where Phil can train her to get her ready for the Nahra and AKC hunttest, which he plans to do with her. Good luck with getting all those ribbons!! There are some pictures taken by a friend, but she still needs to send them to me and then I will put them on.
Whispering Oaks "KJELD" lives in Bodegraven, Holland with his owners Jobert and Frenny and their other 11 year old golden Faust. One daughter still lives at home and she is very involved in horseback riding at a very high level and the whole family rides, so I am sure Kjeld has seen lots of horses already. He will enjoy a life of lots of outdoor activities with the whole family. Good luck with him and keep up the pictures>
