Gorky Park is the answer to this question. In 1987 guitarist Alexey Belov, vocalist Nikolai Noskov, bassist Aleksander "Big Sasha" Minkov, guitarist Jan Ianenkov, and drummer Aleksandr Lvov came together to form Gorky Park. A US record deal was secured with the help of Jon Bon Jovi and Ritchie Sambora. By 1989 they had realesd their first and selftitled album and with that they had a hit with the song "Bang" and others singels as "Try To Find Me" and "Peace In Our Time" got mainstream radioplay.Gorky Park live shows often featured the band dressed in traditional Russian style, waving Soviet and American flags. They played the 1989's Russian "Moscow Music Peace Festival" with the likes of Cinderella,Motley Crue,Bon Jovi,Skid Row,Ozzy and the Scorpions. The band has never been officialy disband but put on inactive instead. They also realesd Moscow Calling (1992) ,Stare(1996,realesd in Russia only) and Protivofazza (1998).
EAT Rising from the outback of Belgian they are sure to bite your ears of and they are destend to make it as a new hair band effort. Here there are some pictures of EAT In Action. More will follow in a an other post. This is the link to their site; www.easyacidtrip.com
This week i have found a great band for all you glam band fans out there. Blue Murder!!
They were an English melodic heavy metal act founded by ex-Whitesnake,Thin Lizzy and Tygers Of Pantang guitarist John Sykes. He was then later joined for the final line-up for the selftiteld album by Carmine Appice (Vanilla Fudge,King Kobra,Ted Nugent,..) and Tony Franklin (Whitesnake,The Firm,Don Dokken,...). He Later released one other album called "Nothin But Trouble" and one live album "Screaming Blue Murder". The "Supergroup"(in my oppinion) disbaned in 1994.
Song selection: Two song i like to recommend are "Jerry Roll" and "Billy" from the selftiteld album.
