November 7, 2005 - Microsoft is going all out with the design aspects of the Xbox 360. In addition the to the sleek design of the hardware itself, the company has just opened the Xbox 360 Lounge in Tokyo, which was designed to be the Xbox 360's own Apple Store. And now, the latest design marvel: the new Jump-In website.

This site, which bears the name of Microsoft's Japanese promotional catch phrase for the X360, is a community destination for those interested in the new platform. The site features links to information about the system and events and is even offering one Xbox 360 system per day to visitors.

But the coolest part of the site is its "voice pool" section (the link to this section is in English on the right side of the main page). A message board like you've never seen before, this part of the site is just fun to look at, even if you don't understand what you're looking at. Each of the text messages on the main board page is a topic, dealing with such issues as X360 backwards compatibility and True Fantasy Live Online.

The site was designed by Yugo Nakamura, a well-known web designer. You can see more of his work at his personal website.
