Dear Diary,
I'll add the conversation between Nini and I so it's a bit clearer how
stressed she was. It was like this: Me: 'you have to tell me everything
about your 'date' with Zac! While I was walking to my class, I saw him
walking into your class, and I knew there was only one place left, and
that was next to you. So tell me everything, I really want to know
everything!' Nini thought about it for two minutes and then answered:
'Well... Just when the class was about to start, someone knocked on
the door, it was Zac. And there was only one seat left, so he had to sit
next to me, I was really embarrassed! I didn't know what to say so I
laughed a bit uncomfortable... And than the teacher said that we had an
assignment and we had to do it with the person that was next to us, in
my case it was Zac. I thought I was going to die. But he solved my problem,
he invited me at his house, for the assignment of course, I didn't know what
just happened to me! Of course I said yes, I said that I first would go home to take
a shower, then he said I smelled like shit... I felt really ashamed...' I answered:
'Well, that's better than ignoring you and not wanting to do his assignment with you?'
'Yeah...but I don't know how I need to behave around him, and what do I need to wear
and how it is going to be, is he going to be nice, rude...? And and...' She stuttered.
'Don't stress like that Nini, everything's going to be fine!' 'And what if it doesn't? What do
I have to do then? What of he doesn't like my outfit? What if he thinks I'm dumb? I don't
know Jonalien, I think I'm just not good enough for him...' 'I'm sure he'll like you' I said.
'I hope so', she answered me. And then the bell rang, 'It's time to go to our next class, good luck tonight' I said.
'Thank you, I'll need it!' And we went to our next class and then I didn't see her anymore. So fingers crossed!
