Today it's my birthday. This morning when I was looking out of my window I saw everything that I normal see. And still today is a special day, for it is my birthay. many years ago my mother gave life to me. And today that reminds me that you have to enjoy every day. Because tomorrow could be your last. So go out there and enjoy! Walk in the grass whith your bare feet, talk to that person who you have wanted to talk to for so long. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy...
Enjoy your life! Because it is only once a year your birthday. Today is yours.

This morning I decided that it was time to open my eyes. To see everything that I had overlooked this last 10 years. I saw a friend that had always been there. I saw that time goes quicker than you want and that someday this all will be over that you will close your eyes as easily as you had opened them for the first time. I saw that what you want you can’t always get. Everyone says that they now that but still I keep thinking that they don’t. They think that everything you want will come on it’s own to you. That you go to this supermarket where you just take the things that you want. A good job, a beautiful house, a happy life. Is it as easy as that, or is there more? I am of the belief that you have to urn what you get. That trough hard work and faith you will have a happy life. Because that is what everyone eventually wants, is it not? Tell me if you think that there is something else that we are looking for. Or perhaps we just walk on this beautiful world with no destination at all. Has our being here any purpose? Let me know what you think, and I will tell you next time what I have discovered.

NOVEMBER

Het regent en het is november
Weer keert het najaar en belaagt
Het hart, dat droef, maar steeds gewender,
Zijn heimelijke pijnen draagt.

En in de kamer, waar gelaten
Het daaglijks leven wordt verricht,
schijnt uit de troosteloze straten
Een ongekleurd namiddaglicht.

De jaren gaan zoals zij gingen,
Er is alengs geen onderscheid
Meer tussen dove herinneringen
En wat geleefd wordt en verbeid.

Verloren zijn de prille wegen
Om te ontkomen aan de tijd;
Altijd november, altijd regen,
Altijd dit lege hart, altijd.
