How and what you need to make jellybeans cola are explained below.

    Ingredients

1 cup of water (divided into two places)

    1/2 teaspoon of gelatin

2 table spoons of corn starch

1 cup Cola juice or drink

    Food coloring (cola color)

2 cups of sugar ( use to separate cups)

    Non-sticking cooking spray

    1/4 teaspoon of salt

2 table spoon of corn syrup

    Equipments

4 to 7 jelly bean molds

    Pan or pot

    Spatula

    Candy thermometer

    Procedure

    Step 1

Put the clean pan on the stove and set the heat to moderate, pour in the one cup of sugar and one of the cups of water along with the gelatine.

    Step 2

Stir the mixture appropriately well with a spatula to prevent the sugar  from getting burnt and sticking to the side of the pan and also to prevent the gelatine from  forming large lumps.

    Step 3

After about 20 minutes of boiling, insert a candy thermometer to measure the temperature. When the temperature gets to 230oF or 110oC turn off the stove and place the pan in the sink containing ice water.

    Step 4

Pour in the salt and cola juice into the pan and stir thoroughly to ensure that they properly mix. The mixture should be as thick as a syrup at this point

    Step 5

Set the jellybeans molds aside and spray non-sticking cooking spray on them.

    Step 6

Use a spoon to pour  the syrup into the molds. Ensure the molds are filled with the beans syrup  as it will allow the hard jelly beans leave easily.

    Step 7

Allow to the syrup to rest in the mold for 6 hours to allow the gelatin become strong and sticky.

    Step 8

Use a spoon to bring out the beans and place them in a bowl and add the cornstarch to it and let it dry for 3 to 5 hours.

    Step 9

Mix the other cup of water and sugar in a separate bowl and add the corn syrup. Pour in the cola flavoring as well and stir appropriately.

    Step 10

Add the jellybeans into a jar along with the mixture from above and seal the jar

    Step 11

Bend the jar at an angle and shake for 20 to 30minutes. This should ensure a fine smooth surface for the jellybeans.

    Step 12

Bring out the jellybeans from the jar and set in a tray and allow to dry over night. Your jellybeans cola is ready.

Although It takes a little bit of time, the sweet delicious jellybeans cola Is worth it. Use it to spice up your movie night or party or better still have it in the kitchen for anytime  you want to keep your mouth busy. Its delicious taste will always make you want more.
