In the recent weeks, we started
emailing our pen pals from Finland. We got to know each other and talked about
the STEM project.
We made a cable to connect all 3 of
the Arduinos so we only needed one power source.
For this test, we teamed up with the
green team. One team put their sensor box in a green environment and the other
team in a more polluted area. Afterwards, we could compare our results.
The week after that, each team got
assigned a classroom. We had to make a floorplan so we could decide the best
place to put our box to make our first measurements. We used an automated
device to take measurements. There were some problems with our sensors (like:
no results/smoke coming out of a sensor) but we fixed those issues.
Now, we are brainstorming and
searching for an idea to improve the air quality in our assigned classroom.
This is our finished sensor box with
all the sensors in it.
