Because this is an international project and we work together with people in Finland, we had to make an introduction video where we introduced ourselves, our team, our school, Leuven and Belgium. So what we did was selecting the interesting information about these topics and then making a little video about it or just recording a text and adding matching pictures. When we were finished we sent those video’s/audio excerpts with pictures to Glen who then put all of the videos together and added sound + pictures to make it a smooth end product.

Our logo

Another thing which we had to work on was making a team logo and coming up with a name, Nina did most of this. She made the logo and came up with the name luchtBEL.

Because this is a science project, there are some overlaps with other science subjects. For example, we had to pick leaves in different areas which we later did some experiments with like growing pink leaf yeasts. The point of this experiment is finding out what kind of environment is the best for organisms.

Team LuchtBEL Update 2/10/2020

In this picture above, you see Glen and Helder working on their sensor, our teacher, Mrs. Vanbreusegem, is helping.

The members of our team are Glen, Helder, Tabitha, Nina, Tuur and Johannes. We are all divided in separate groups of 2 where we work on our sensors but together we still are one team.
