Saint Patrick's Day, is a cultural and religious celebration held on 17 March, the traditional death date of Saint Patrick , the foremost patron saint of Ireland.
Saint Patrick was an evangelist and he tried to explain the Holy Trinity to the Irish with a shamrock, a green, three-leaved plant. That is the reason why the people who celebrate Saint Patrick's day often wear shamrocks and green clothes.
On Saint Patrick's day people drink a lot of beer. They eat lamb stew, soda bread, green pizza,and many other things with a green color.
