So that is why I started to try to re-live it (partly) trough living history or re-enacting. It learned me even more and it even stimulated my passion for history. But I am always been fascinated by photography too!

Then I started to study the Vietnam War. You can't study this war without acknowledging the role of the photo journalist. I learned to respect and even admire their bravery and efforts. So I started to try to relive bit and pieces of their experiences. I bought myself some Vietnam war camera's and tried to capture Vietnam War re-enactments like they tried to capture the war on film. This challenge started something... 

Now I also do the same for WW1 and maybe also WW2 in the near future. 

I try to do every step of the process myself. So it is a learning experience with successes  and failures. 

I like to share the results, the good and the bad things, the experience. Maybe you learn from it to, or even better, I learn from you. And maybe you see photography in a different light.
