This afternoon I met up with Ramzi and Boo for our promotional video, we don't have anything yet, but we're onto it! After some brainstorming we came up with some valid ideas which we can/will use for our final fragrance promotion video.
I'm currently preparing my PoPP with the blogs and case 8. They seem doable knowing that my PoPP is almost ready and I just have to add the last bits and do some adjustments. Not much to be said about this matter, moving on!
Now the conclusion, so far I have learned some things but not that much. We don't have actual lessons like last year so the outcome is normal I guess. The discussions etc. are definitely more useful than just learning lists of words in dull lessons. Following classes like this improves your, lets call it 'English mindset' by which I try to say they are better for your english skills performed orally and not just written.
Perhaps next semester will be even more useful but this one hasn't been so far. We make assignments and take notes or discuss subjects, but it's not frequent enough and the assignments aren't very educational.

Today Not much has been done for English at my place, neither in Ghent nor in Ostend, but I've been planning to do some work on monday/tuesday for our latest case.
It's a theme around perfume and what could be done for that specific brand to make it better, more appealing for others, better priced etc.
We've come up with some ideas and are going to work them out and make a short promotion movie which will 'premier' in class in a couple of weeks.
What I did do this week was catch up for school, I've been skipping a few lessons and those have to been gone through at least once in our books so that took quite some time. Besides that I did some accountancy, made a couple of exercices and it payed off. In class I was able to follow what the teacher said and my exercices were correct.
After accountancy followed business economics, those exercices were something I just could not understand so I went to the BE lesson and made a couple more and I think I've got, no guarantees though, but work pays off after all...
I try to study on a regular basis and make the exercices frequently, just like the teachers say I should do. Like this, everythings's going to be just fine...
Today we had to create a new fragrance and we started with the idea of something sporty, not too expensive,... further details will follow we aren't there yet. We have some ideas but we still have to brainstorm a bit about those.
After doing that I got home and started gaming, which I've been doing since the age of 6 I think, maybe earlier! At very young age I played on a Nintendo 64 and Nintendo color, those games were 2D and without color. After that followed all the playstations from 1 to 4, a Nintendo Wii, xbox 360, PC gaming, Nintendo DS, Playstation Portable 1 and 2 (pocket version of playstation) and that's about it.
As you can see I've been gaming for quite some time and I intend to keep doing so.
The games we play now have changed so much compared to when we were younger. Not only the graphics, but also the games self, the consoles and the TV's to play those games on have improved more than a bit.
My taste of games has changed as well, as a kid I would almost every single time play FIFA, that changed into Call of Duty and battlefield (shooters) and since then I have played every CoD, Now we're back to playing fifa, but done with the shooter games, a couple of weeks ago I even started playing NFL from the american football league! Tastes change over the years luckily or else it would've gotten boring very quickly.
Number three already, time's passing by quickly! Anyway, I just finished the report assignment we were supposed to do by tomorrow. The explanation was quite unclear so I'm hoping I did it right (more or less).
Off to bed now, hitting the gym tommorow at 8 a.m. and after that I'll read a bit in my book about the financial market and the stock exchange. This subject is very interesting in my opinion and I've already started to do some investing in stocks and funds.
My plan is to build up something over the years and keep investing so I can have a nice retirement later. This is a must, knowing what the government is doing right now to their own people with all kinds of taxes and reductions etc.
Recently we (me and a couple of friends) visited a few lectures about taxes, the future of the youth, financial markets and investing. They were all very interesting and gave us some very handy do's and don'ts.
Some of the lecturers who came to speak were politicians and others weren't, we saw Van Overtveldt, Crombez and also Rutten. The not politicians were professional investors and bankers, but I don't reallly remember their names. Definitely going to do such events again
Well it's actually the third week, but I consider it the secon cause inroduction week doesn't count. So far so good, missed a deadline for English by 10 minutes cause I forgot to upload the day before. Working on that last one (see Action Plan), and I've decided to also join the exchange program for French, don't know if that will force me to miss a class.
That being said I think the classes are useful so far on a couple of levels like the meetings and the expressions. Other than that I Haven't learned alot, I guess. But hey! It's only week two (or three) so who knows what's coming. Looking forward to it.
Not school related, I am currently looking for a motorcycle cause next year I'll be 20 and I can ride a motorcycle. I'm already riding but just a 125 cc which is rather small, next year the bike can go up to 800cc and that is just so much better! In 2017 there are some new models from Kawasaki, Honda and BMW that I'm waiting for. There are some specific needs though, they MUST have ABS, an automatic breaking system which prevents you from falling when you brake.
Most of all I like the 1200 Harley-Davidson roadster, harleys just have something that others don't have, and they have ABS...
Later in my life I want to learn more about motorcycles and start my career in that branch, it's a world like no other and has much to offer for youngsters eager to take on life.
Today I started making preparations for English class tomorrow. I planned it for about 3 hours so i began at 5 o'clock (p.m) and it's now 1:47 so I'm calling it a day.
However the effort was worth it cause my portfolio is already put together nicely and the Dialang language test is done, managed to get a score from 1x B1 , 3x B2 and 1 time C1. All of those scores were between about 640 en 750 on a scale of 900 which is great.
Took a lot more time than i thought, in combination with the SWOT analysis I made and my action plan after wich a comparison had to be made between my SWOT and Dialang results. The outcome was as I expected it to be so I didn't have to change much...
Todays subject besides the lesson preparations will be the gym, this is routine, I try to go every day if possible. Usually i work out with Ramzi but mostly alone cause I go early in the morning around 8 a.m. after which i go to school.
I trained chest this morning and tomorrrow's back and biceps day and i'm looking forward to it!
