Jordan Henderson: Liverpool captain out until April with groin injury

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has been ruled out for up to 10 weeks as a result of the groin injury he suffered against Everton.
The England midfielder, 30, was forced off in the first half in Saturday's 2-0 Merseyside derby defeat to add to the club's defensive problems.
He joins Virgil van Dijk, Joel Matip, Joe Gomez and Fabinho on the sidelines.
Henderson has had surgery and will miss three England World Cup qualifiers but is expected to return this season.
The midfielder has been used in defence in recent weeks with Jurgen Klopp without his three main centre-backs.
A club statement did not put a timeframe on his return, but BBC Sport understands he is likely to be out for eight to 10 weeks.
"No specific timescale is being placed upon his return," said a statement on the club's website.
"However, the 30-year-old is ruled out initially until after the March international break."
He will now miss at least five Liverpool matches, including a home Premier League game with Chelsea and the second leg of their last-16 Champions League tie with RB Leipzig.
He will also be unavailable for England's qualifying games against San Marino, Albania and Poland in March.
However, it does appear he will be fit in time for this summer's rescheduled European Championship, which begins on Friday, 11 June.

I think Liverpool's problem is their squad depth. Their best 11 is arguably the best in the league, but their overall squad is far from it.
Liverpool's best 5 options at CB are:
1) Van Dijk
2) Gomez
3) Matip
4) Fabinho
5) Henderson
All of whom are injured.
No team could cope with that.
No matter where Liverpool finish, Klopp deserves to keep his job after what he's done over the last 5 years. Judge him again next season when he actually has the players to do something.
Wish him all the best from a non league fan.
So all the man United fans saying "Liverpool fans are making excuses" can pipe down!! Even your own legends agree it's impossible to deal with 5 serious injuries in 1 position.
But voting down decent people’s comments about Becker’s father? You must look at yourselves in the mirror, go “Yeah, I’m well hard”, puff your chest up and then presumably go and “do things” to the neighbour’s cat.
Pathetic.
It is funny though, people saying "every team has injuries". They do. Just Liverpool have more & they seem to be hitting their centre defence.
Only 5 of Liverpools 1st team squad haven't spent at least 3 weeks out injured this season and they have the most 1st team members missing the most days. Any team would struggle with that.
On a serious note, thoughts go out to Allison and Klopp for their recent losses. Events like these transcend football and puts it into perspective. Team loyalty is one thing but humanity and decency are what's needed here.
Also, sad for Henderson, good player for Liverpool and England.
The front 3 look worn out 2 years of brilliance and pressing is taking its toll...
Look at goals scored in last 5 home games ...
