Vandaag na de vergadering thuis gebeld naar Kanakna om toestemming te vragen aan de productie voor een interview met David en Lins van restaurant Matizze van Mijn Restaurant. Ik moest maar naar VTM bellen, want die deden dat. Ik ben dus naar VTM, zij schakelen mij 127 keer door naar de verkeerde persoon waardoor ik uiteindelijk een telefoonnr krijg van een zekere Marjan die niet opneemt. Het interview is geregeld voor morgen, maar we weten nog niet of we mogen... Morgenvroeg eerste werk: het interview fiksen! Verder nog informatie opgezocht over Martine en Roland Vandenbussche voor het interview van vrijdag. Ik heb ook ineens een inleiding gemaakt en specifieke vragen verzonnen, me baserend op de algemene vragen die we daarstraks hebben samen hebben opgesteld. Vergadering 1 Datum: 05.06.08 Uur: 13.00 Aanwezigen: - Jennifer Nijssen - Laetitia Sabiti - Joke Frencken - Sarah Verrees - Lynn Vermorgen We zullen dit project uit 2 invalshoeken bezien om een beetje variatie te hebben. Onze eerste invalshoek: Makers en publiek. De tweede invalshoek: De deelnemers. Verder hebben we 4 vraagstellingen opgesteld die ons het meest geschikt leken. Wat wil het publiek Hoe gaat de productie hierop in? (ev. Manipulatie) Waarom deelnemen? Het leven daarna (ev. Psychologische hulp) De eerste 2 vraagstellingen slagen op de invalshoek: Makers en publiek. De overige zijn van toepassing op de invalshoek: Deelnemers. Verder hebben we elk een beetje opzoek werk gedaan en besloten wie welk onderwerp verder gaat uitspitten. Onze volgende afspraak is op: Dinsdag 06.05.08 op msn om 11uur. Critical approach on the assignment
First of all, I would like to give a big shout out to our English teacher for giving us the opportunity to experience this assignment. Even though I wasnt always able to post my articles, nevertheless I enjoyed the task fully. When I started with the first article, I wasnt really sure whom to write about, but with the inspiration I have, it wasnt really difficult. The following subjects , like culture and leisure were interesting and extremely fun to write about. Because if its about something you are interested in, its always easier to write about it. Anyway, Id just wanted to explain that I had fun during the six weeks writing about all sorts of stuff and if we turn back time, I would do it all over again. Critical approach on the assignment
Critical approach on the assignment I love making this kind of assignments. It demands creativity and magic fingers to make something good of it. I honestly even think we should do this more often. Not only for the english course, but also for others. It doesn't take too much time to write something down, but I believe that the more frequent we do this kind of assignments it will improve our writing skills. We had a week to write something down on this blog, which was all right. At the beginning of the week I always did a little research on the subjects I could maybe tackle. The thing I liked the most was that the given topics were wide spread. You could pick any subtopic you wanted to write about. The subject which was less easy for me was writing about sports. Feedback on the assignment
Feedback on the assignment This assignment was for me very amusing. Sometimes I found it very hard to always think about writing and posting the texts on time, but I managed to do it every time. Using the blog and having a week time to write about a subject gave us the freedom to plan to work, when it was suitable for us. Therefore, I found the assignment not very stressful and really not an extra burden on our shoulders. It is, in my opinion also an excellent way to improve our writing skills and to practice our vocabulary. In short, I find the assignment very useful and the blog and the time we had to make it very comfortable. Antwerp Giants beaten by Aalstar
Antwerp Giants beaten by Aalstar Antwerp - Antwerp Giants were putten through to win from their opponent Aalstar before having a chance at the play-offs. The result of the game was a score of 90-72. For participating on the play-offs, Antwerp Giants needed to win this game from Aalstar. Which clearly wasn't the case. At the beginning of the game, Aalstar kept Antwerp Giants from scoring and succeeded in putting up a score of 11-1. At the end of the first quarter the Giants were confronted with the fact they were well behind with a score of 28-7. Although it seemed impossible that the Giants could catch up the loss, they managed to draw the level in the second quarter. As Aalstar was less concentrated Antwerp took it's chance in scoring points. Antwerp brought the scoreboard to 33-21. Lamot, a player of Antwerp Giants even managed in reducing the difference to 8 points; 39-31. Lojeski and Cantrell from Aalstar didn't want to give in and brought the scoreboard to 44-33. The unstopable Lojeski kept scoring after the break which resulted in a score of 57-42. But because of the many faults he made, he needed to spend the last quarter of the game on the bench. Tia strikes again! Antwerp After winning the European Championship last year, Tia Hellebaut is the new champion of the world in pentathlon. The Flemish athletic was the best as said her second lady, the British Kelly Sotherthon. Winning this title, Tia Hellebaut is the first to ever win a world championships title for our country. Tia Hellebaut is the new champion of the world in pentathlon for women. She struggled, she said, and it has not yet sunken in to her that she is the first Belgian woman to win a world championship. In Valencia, where the championship took place this year, Tia broke some of her personal records, but also made a few mistakes. She is however, the winner of the competition. And even her competitors agree that she deserved it. Kelly Sotherthon, who won silver, agrees and calls Tia her better. She now takes a few days off and later this week she will start training for de pentathlon in Austria later this year. We wish her good luck! A switch of rank ANTWERP - This evening there were two important football matches to be played for the Champions league. AA Gent Germinal Beerschot were first and afterwards Charleroi Anderlecht. The endresult is that Germinal Beerschot turned out 5^th in the rank and Anderlecht 4^th. This evening was an important evening for Beerschot and Anderlecht. Germinal Beerschot started this weekend with a shared 3^rd place with Cercle Brugge, Anderlecht was 5^th in rank. At 6 pm AA Gent Germinal Beerschot began. The first goal was made by Gent, the second goal was for Beerschot thanks to a penalty. In the 76^th minute there was the last goal made by Gent, this makes the endscore 2 1. Beerschot moves back to place 4. At 8.30 pm Charleroi Anderlecht began. The result of this game was 0 2 for Anderlecht. The first goal was made in the first part of the game and the second in the second part of the game. This result moves Anderlecht to the 4^th place and Beerschot to the 5^th place. This was a real slap in the face for Beerschot. In one night they moved from place 3 to place 5.
