Jeff Jarrett is reportedly headed to scout potential buildings for TV tapings in New York, Dallas and Los Angeles in September.
People close to Jarrett and Global Force Wrestling say negotiations are still ongoing for a GFW TV deal but they are moving slow. The promotion hoped to have something locked in by now but they do not.
There should be more announcements coming soon in regards to Scott D'Amore's involvement with GFW and the company's relationship with New Japan Pro Wrestling.
The whole process of launching GFW is going a lot slower than officials wanted.

“All of our agreements just go to show the popularity of wrestling around the world. Wherever you go you can find athletes putting on great shows for their dedicated fans.”

“I have witnessed firsthand some of the fantastic talent we have Down Under, and I believe the time is right to start showing the world why they breed us Aussies tough” McManus said. “Some of the best entertainers in the world have learned their craft in Australia and I have no doubt we have some of the best professional wrestlers in the world right at our doorstep.”
TNA agent Tommy Dreamer was recently on Steve Austin’s Podcast. In the interview Dreamer talks about his ECW days, WWE and TNA. Tommy Dreamer makes an interesting revelation during the TNA talk where he reveals he was close to signing Abyss to a WWE contract back when Dreamer worked in WWE developmental.
Dreamer mentions that his intentions were to bring Abyss into the WWE and pitch an Abyss vs The Undertaker match down the road. Dreamer reveals Abyss turned down the offer and opted to stay in TNA and that he believes that Abyss may have had a case of stage fright.

WWE Allowing Prince Devitt to Keep His Body Paint?
There has been a lot of fans wondering if WWE would allow Prince Devitt to keep his signature body paint in NXT and the main roster. Fellow NXT rookie Kevin Steen posted the following photo of he and Devitt together tonight, leading fans to now wonder if the two are going to be a team.
There are no NXT live events tonight so it's possible they were training in full get-up, doing a photoshoot or something like that at the WWE Performance Center but this photo could be a sign that WWE is letting Devitt keep his paint.
"I hear about all of these guys getting concussions and neck injuries, and I watch their wrestling style, and I realize my wrestling style’s a little bit harder than that, because I’m taking German suplexes on the neck, and piledrivers and whatever. I’m like, ‘Man, I’m gonna be 33 years old; maybe I’d better get out now, and not have to be in a wheelchair when I’m older."
"My wife’s due with my next daughter in a couple of weeks or so, and I just didn’t book any shows in or around this time. Then I just said, ‘You know what? I just gotta start doing different things in life.’ You kinda have to look at your future, and ask what’s really more important: providing for my family, being there for them, or pro wrestling?"
Petey, who didn't rule out working a match down the road, also commented on his future:
"I’m going to become a US citizen, probably within a month. I’m probably going to work in law enforcement now. That’s what I went to school for while training to be a pro wrestler, so that’s been my other area of passion. It’s a career where I don’t have to travel, don’t have to leave my family, and I can earn a pension. My wife’s a police officer, and that’s how we kind of came together."
"It’s about being a Dad, and also stopping by some local shows to say hi to the guys. I still wanna keep up with wrestling, and I’m actually enjoying it a little more, following it casually as a fan. It reminds me of back when I was younger, and I love being a fan of the sport."
Petey also talks about his time in TNA, his favorite opponents and more in the interview.
