AJ Lee Talks About Being WWE Divas Champion
AJ Lee Talks About Being WWE Divas Champion

    - WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee recently spoke with CitizensVoice.com to promote upcoming live events. Here are some highlights:

    Being Divas Champion:
"To actually have completed that 14-year mission is amazing and surreal. I'll kinda leave the title around my apartment, just to remind me of it. Yeah, I put it in the bed with me sometimes."

Paying tribute to Eddie Guerrero by "playing possum" in the match she won the title:
"That was like my shout-out to him for being my inspiration all these years. He was so funny, and whether he was somebody you wanted to boo or cheer - he was so easily (bad or good), and he didn't really change that much of his style. So funny and sassy and shady. He would just cheat all the time, and it was so goofy."

    Why HHH Didn't Punish D-Bryan

Regarding Daniel Bryan not being punished over the recent confrontation with Triple H backstage, some witnesses say Vince McMahon was there and others say he wasn't present. Apparently Vince has given Triple H full control of managing talent and when Triple H didn't want to punish Bryan for his outburst, Vince didn't overrule him

Ziggler Talks About Concussion, Traveling with AJ
Ziggler Talks About Concussion, Traveling with AJ

    - Dolph Ziggler was recently interviewed by The Carroll County Times to promote this weekend's WWE live events. Here are some highlights:

Q: First of all, let’s talk about you coming back from your recent concussion. Was this the first one you had suffered?

A: Yeah, I mean, I think I had one other one in college, but nothing this bad ever, in my life.

Q: Can you describe what you remember about getting it and the days and weeks after getting it?

A: Yeah, sure. I had a bad headache for a solid two weeks afterwards. I was diagnosed with retrograde amnesia which meant I ended up losing a day and a half, two days of my memory instantly, even though when the incident happened, there was like five more minutes of match that I went through and actually executed very well.

Q: For you personally, was that frustrating for you, not being able to compete, having just won the World Championship?

A: Yes. I can’t imagine anything in my career that’s been any worse than that. I was lucky enough to cash in my Money in the Bank, become World Heavyweight Champion, at this amazing “Monday Night Raw” with this crowd that was electric and I don’t know that we can ever reproduce again, and to have one week of some TVs go back, have a concussion, be out five weeks, have one title defense and lose it, I’ve never been more frustrated in my entire WWE career when that happened.

Q: Talk about working with AJ and Big E Langston. Do you guys travel together?

A: Yeah, we do, not even all the time, but some of the time the three of us do travel together, and it’s been kind of cool because AJ’s another one who, as a child, wanted to do this — like when I was five, I wanted to do this and I’m doing it now — I think when she was 8 or 10, she decided she wanted to do it and she’s doing it. So that’s brought us together. The two of us, maybe outside of work, never would’ve bumped into each other or said a word.

Report by Richard Trionfo & PWinsider.com

We are in Topeka, Kansas and your announcers are John Layfield and Michael Cole.

Our special guest makes his way to the ring so CM Punk can address the crowd. Before that happens, we see what happened on Raw when CM Punk and Curtis Axel were part of a tag team match against Darren Young and Titus O’Neil.

Punk stands under the blue briefcase and he waits for the crowd to quiet down.

He says that if he was John Cena, he would give a very heartfelt speech about the Fourth of July and how much it means to be an American and how America was built on hustle, loyalty, and respect. Punk reminds everyone that he is not John Cena and he has a drastically different point of view than Cena.

He says that the Fourth of July means independence to him. It is a time when like minded individuals decided that they were not going to conform to someone else’s rules. They were going to make their own rules and blaze their own trail and die for it if necessary.

Punk says that independence is important to him and if someone tells him that he has a series of rules to follow, he will break them. If he is told something and even if it was a smart idea, he was going to run away from it. When he was told that he would be the biggest thing after Wrestlemania, but he walked away. When he was told that Paul Heyman was a major asset for him at ringside, he told Paul to stay in the back.

Regardless of how good his track record is in Money in the Bank matches, he was told that the odds were against him in the All-Stars Money in the Bank match. That is why he lined everyone up and told them what he thought of them to prove them wrong.

He is a simple guy with simple needs. He has two simple goals. The first one is to get his hands on Brock Lesnar. He will get his hands on Brock and hold him accountable for the F-5 that Brock gave him on Raw. His second goal . . . and he looks at the briefcase and it is to win the Money in the Bank match and become WWE Champion again.

He says that those are his two basic goals and he has no problem telling everyone.

Alberto Del Rio’s music plays and Punk mentions that he is not done.

Alberto says that he was expecting more from CM Punk.

Punk says that Del Rio was expecting more from him, but Punk says that he was expecting more from Del Rio, like a cool car. Instead it is just him in a cheap suit. He wants to know what Del Rio wants.

Del Rio says that it is not about what he wants, it is about who he is. He is the World Heavyweight Champion. This is his show.

Punk agrees that Del Rio is the World Champion, but title or no title, it has never been his show. They air on Mundos and it isn’t even Del Rio’s show. He wants to know what Del Rio wants.

Del Rio says that Punk is always making jokes. He asks Punk if they know how his people celebrated their holiday. They stuffed their faces in their backyards eating hot dogs, hamburgers, and French fries. They celebrate their freedom by watching television all day and play with the internet. They get fatter and fatter and fatter and fatter every day. Then they come to Smackdown and they cheer a filthy little pig named Dolph Ziggler who disrespected the Mexican culture and ruined his fiesta.

Then they chant USA (and the crowd starts the chant). They chant USA because they are nothing but a bunch of sheep.

Punk asks Alberto if he is the same guy who came out and championed how awesome America was until a few weeks ago. He was starting the USA chants talking about how fantastic America is. Now he is criticizing them because they saw through his Born in Mexico, Made in America crap?

They chant USA and boo Del Rio, not because he is from Mexico. It is because he tried to put on this façade and acted like a phony America. They see through him and they see Del Rio as the phony he is.

Del Rio says that Punk is always barking. He calls Punk a Chihuahua and someone needs to teach him some manners. Del Rio reminds Punk that he is the World . . . Heavyweight . . . Champion.

Punk tells Del Rio that he is the number one contender to his title of Best in the World. He doesn’t chase Del Rio, Del Rio chases him. He doesn’t interrupt Del Rio, it was Alberto who interrupted him.

Alberto says that this is his world, his show, and his ring. He orders Punk to leave right now.

Punk says that it sounds painfully like Alberto is telling him to do something. Punk says that it might be smart, but he is going to stay in the ring until Del Rio makes him leave the ring.

As we approach TeddyCon 2, it is time for Teddy Long’s music to play and he has an even number of people in the ring so we might be getting a match for later in the show.

Teddy tells the playas to wait a minute. He says that we had fireworks for the Fourth of July, but thanks to Del Rio and Punk, we are going to have fireworks in the main event. Alberto Del Rio will face CM Punk.

    We go to commercial.

We are back and CM Punk is in the locker room and Paul Heyman enters. Paul says that he is honoring Punk’s request to stay out of his business. He wants to ask Punk something as his best friend. Punk says that he is just a friend. Paul says that this match is a bad idea because he has everything to lose and nothing to gain.

Punk agrees with Paul that this is a situation where he has nothing to gain and everything to lose. Punk says that he will fight him anyway.

Paul talks about the Money in the Bank match. He talks about how the winner will be guaranteed the WWE Title. He says that Punk needs eyes in the back of his head and he asks to be with Punk.

Punk tells Paul, as his friend, to stay out of it.

Paul agrees and he wishes Punk luck.

Damien Sandow demands silence and he tells the slackjawed mouth breathers of the WWE Universe that they are about to witness a new era in WWE. They will be in a Money in the Bank match for a World Title contract. For those who are wagging their tongues over the thought of the decimation of the Rhodes Scholars, they could not be any more incorrect.

Cody says that the best man will win and Damien agrees.

Match Number One Jimmy and Jey Uso versus Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow

Cody and Jimmy start things off and Cody with a top wrist lock and he sends Jimmy into the turnbuckles but Jimmy with an uppercut and he sends Cody into the turnbuckles. Jey tags in and he hits a clothesline and gets a near fall. Cody with a drop kick and he sends Jey into his corner and he punches him before tagging in Sandow.

Sandow with punches, kicks, and a head butt. Sandow with a side Russian leg sweep followed by the Elbow of Disdain but Jey kicks out. Rhodes tags back in and he kicks Jey. Cody with a gourdbuster and then he hits a knee drop. Sandow tags back in and they go for a double belly-to-back suplex on Jey but Jey escapes and lands on his feet. Jey sends Cody to the apron and Jimmy with a super kick that sends Cody to the floor.

Jey with a super kick to Sandow and then he tags in Jimmy. They go to opposite corners and hit a double Superfly Splash for the three count.

    Winners: Jimmy and Jey Uso

The Shield appear on the TitanTron and they congratulate them on being able to combine unlimited potential and talent with a string of luck. Last week, they got lucky with Christian and got one by on the Shield. Seth says that they might think that they are no longer invincible, but it means that they are more focused than ever. They will not be lucky after Money in the Bank.

Roman says that they will need more than luck to beat them at Money in the Bank. Roman says that they will put the Usos back in their place.

Ambrose says that he showed Christian his place after Raw. One out of one hundred times, you might beat him. Monday was the first of ninety-nine in a row where he will win. Dean tells everyone to wait for him to be lurking in the shadows with the Money in the Bank briefcase. He says that he will win the Money in the Bank ladder match and he will own the world.

He tells everyone to believe in the Shield.

    We go to commercial.

We are back and we are reminded that Vickie Guerrero will get her Job Evaluation on Raw.

We see what happened on Raw after Kaitlyn defeated Alicia Fox between AJ and Kaitlyn.

Match Number Two: Alicia Fox versus Kaitlyn (with Layla El)

Alicia with knees to Kaitlyn and she runs Kaitlyn into the turnbuckles. Alicia with the Northern Lights suplex but she can only get a near fall. Winner: Alicia Fox

After the match, Kaitlyn chases AJ to the back and Layla follows.

    We go to commercial.

We are back and AJ is walking through the back holding her belt tightly. She is stopped by the Bellas and they tell AJ that they only care about the title. AJ says that she doesn’t have any time.

Brie stops AJ and tells her that she will listen to them because the title will be theirs very soon.

AJ tells Big E that they need to get out of here because Kaitlyn is chasing after her. Big E asks about Dolph and AJ says that she will text him later. AJ tells Big E to get the car and she tells Big E to run and get his knees up.

We take a look back at Daniel Bryan’s refereeing job in the Randy Orton and Kane match.

Renee Young is in the interview area with Christian and Randy Orton. Renee asks them about their rivalry and how it will continue tonight.

Christian says that he has already beaten Randy Orton for the World Title. He will put everyone on notice after he wins tonight and then goes on to win the Money in the Bank ladder match.

Randy says that Christian will learn first hand why he is the man who everyone should worry about at Money in the Bank in his One More Match.

Michael Cole mentions the Wyatt Family and John says that they are coming on Monday night. He says that there has not been a bigger debut than this.

We see the video package that ended Raw.

Match Number Three: Randy Orton versus Christian

Christian with a waist lock but Orton with a standing switch and take down into a front face lock. Orton with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Christian wants a test of strength and Orton with a side head lock but Christian with a back elbow. Christian sends Orton into the ropes and he slingshots to the floor but Orton avoids the uppercut. Orton with kicks to Christian on the apron and Orton tries for an IEDDT but Christian gets into the ring and he back body drops Orton over the top rope to the floor.

    We go to commercial.

We are back and Orton misses the leaping knee drop. Christian chokes Orton with his boot and the referee warns him. Christian with kicks to Orton but Orton with punches. Christian with a kick and punch but Orotn with a Thesz Press. Christian escapes and goes to the apron. Winner: Randy Orton

Teddy Long is on the phone and he is talking about the main event. He has someone knocking on his door and Teddy has to hang up.

Paul Heyman enters and he says that people are telling him that Teddy wants to talk to him.

Teddy says that he wants Paul to sit with Michael Cole and John Layfield on commentary.

Paul says no because he will not get involved in CM Punk’s matches any more.

Teddy says that he thinks that Paul can provide a lot of insight about CM Punk on commentary. He also reminds Paul of what Punk said earlier about walking the opposite direction of what people tell him to do. Teddy says that he is in charge and since Punk says that Paul does not go out there, Paul has to go out tonight.

    We go to commercial.

We are back and Dolph Ziggler makes his way to the ring. We see footage from the WWE App showing some possible tension between Dolph and AJ Lee over the situation with Kaitlyn.

Dolph says that the last few months have been a blur. There is one thing and one memory that he will never forget. The night that he defeated Alberto Del Rio to become the World Champion. After that, things get a little fuzzy. He just came back from a concussion and he had a giant target on his head and Del Rio took advantage of that. He does not remember too much after that.

This is not ballet. What he does remember is a giant cheesy grin on Del Rio’s face while flailing his arms around. He talked about how much he loved America. He could not do the impossible. He could not convince you that he was likeable. Del Rio is full of crap. Dolph says that he might be a lot of things, but he does not claim to be something he is not. He might have a chip on his shoulder. You might say that he is cocky or arrogant but he does things that nobody else does in the ring.

    TNA Impact Wrestling
    Las Vegas, NV (Orleans Arena)
    July 4, 2013
    Commentators: Mike Tenay, Taz
Report by: Josh Boutwell of Wrestleview.com

Happy 4th of July to all my Americans out there and Roll Tide as usual!

Impact opens up with highlights from last week and then the NEW X-Division Champion Austin Aries makes his way down to the ring. Aries says that some people love him and some people love to boo him, but the fact of the matter is now everyone has to respect him. He says that he came out last week and did what he does, outsmarted people and created controversy. He says last year he was the man that created “Option C” meaning the X-Division Champion gets to case in the title for a shot at the World Title, and not only did he do that but he also won the World Title. Aries says that after his “clever plan” last week you can “bet your sweet ass” he is cashing it in again for a shot at the World Title at Destination X on July 18th. Aries tells Hogan to get out to the ring so he can make this thing official.

Hogan comes out and Aries tells him that he’s ready to hand the belt over for his shot at DX. Hogan accepts the belt and says that Aries has done it again. He says that Aries is the one that created Option C but he’s also created other things in TNA. He says that Aries took the X-Division to a brand new high with Option C but then took it to a brand new low by doing what he did last week. Hogan says no one in “Sin City” has seen a sin like what Aries did to Suicide. Hogan says he won’t allow the X-Division Champion to cash in on Option C until the end of the night because tonight we’re having an X-Division Title Match in the Main Event! Hogan says his first challenger will be the man that Aries stabbed in the back last week…Suicide under his new name “Manic.”

Manic comes out and he is wearing pretty much the same gear except there is a big “M” on his chest rather than the Suicide logo. Manic gets in Aries’ face but then Hogan says the other challenger will be the former champion Chris Sabin! Hogan says both Sabin & Manic get a chance to right the wrong from last week.

Sabin says one year ago he never thought he would be able to get back in the ring again, but he never gave up and never stopped fighting. Sabin says Aries is the “greatest scam that ever lived” and he earned the title while Aries cheated his way to it. He says there is nothing that Aries or anyone else can do to stop him from becoming a 6-time X-Division Champion tonight.

Bad Influence complains about the camera guy trying to get into their locker room. Camera guy says he just wants comments from Kaz about his match with AJ tonight. Kaz says there is no one that knows AJ better than Bad Influence and tonight he’ll beat him and it doesn’t matter if it’s “the clean-cut Bieber version” of AJ or the current version.

    ----COMMERCIAL BREAK----

The new leader board shows that Magnus has moved up to 24 points over the weekend while Samoa Joe jumped up to 19 points behind him. The rest of the field remains the same.

    BFG Series Match
“The Phenomenal” AJ Styles vs. Kazarian

Both guys are former members of Fortune and are both TNA Originals having faced each other numerous times over the years including over the X-Division Title back in the Asylum days in Nashville. AJ currently has 2 points in the BFG Series while Kaz has yet to score a point. Kaz and Daniels come out dressed as Siegfried & Roy as it’s once again Throwback Thursday. Daniels is even carrying a stuffed Tiger. Kaz is going to actually continue wearing the goofy wig and weird shirt for the match. Kaz goes after AJ but AJ sidesteps him and connects with a big right hand knocking Kaz’s wig off. Kaz finally takes the shirt off as he escapes to the floor but AJ goes flying through the ropes with a Missile Dropkick to Kaz. AJ rolls Kaz back in the ring and then attempts to whip Kaz into the corner, but Kaz reverses it and charges at AJ. AJ floats up and over Kaz and then hits a hurricanrana that sends Kaz back into the corner. AJ whips Kaz into the opposite corner and then comes charging in with a Flying Forearm. AJ whips Kaz into the opposite corner and goes for another Flying Forearm but Kaz moves out of the way this time and then hits a big Monkey Flip out of the corner! Kaz beats on AJ on the mat and then whips AJ into the ropes and connects with a Heel Kick for a nearfall. Kaz taunts AJ by slapping him in the back of the head and then picks him up but AJ slaps his hand away and then connects with a series of vicious strikes capping them off with a big Lariat! AJ hits another Lariat and then a Running Back Elbow followed by another clothesline. AJ whips Kaz into the corner and then charges at him but Kaz backdrops AJ to the apron. Kaz swings at AJ but he blocks the punch and then connects with a forearm. AJ then hits the Springboard Flying Forearm! 1…2…NO Kaz kicks out! AJ picks Kaz up but gets caught with a Jawbreaker out of nowhere. Kaz then follows up with a nasty dropkick that sends AJ into the corner for a nearfall. Kaz argues with the referee and then swings at AJ, but AJ ducks and then goes for a Back Suplex. Kaz lands on his feet and then goes for a German Suplex, but AJ blocks it and goes for the Calf Killa! Kaz counters into a rollup, 1…2…NO AJ kicks out and rolls Kaz up into the Calf Killa! Kaz fights it briefly but finally taps!

Winner: AJ via submission (Calf Killa)

AJ jumps all the way up to #3 in the BFG standings with that win.

In the back Mickie James asks someone if they have her ladder set up in the ring.

    ----COMMERCIAL BREAK----

Chavo Guerrero hypes Hernandez up in the back and tells him that the BFG Series is a marathon not a sprint. Chavo tells Hernandez this is his chance to get to the World Title and he’ll be in Hernandez’s corner tonight.

Mickie is in the ring with a ladder set up, and damn is she looking good. Mickie says she knows that everyone is wondering what she’s doing out there with a ladder. Mickie says she is here to tell a story and she says that to get to the Knockout division you have to climb and crawl and scratch as she climbs up the ladder. Mickie just climbed up that ladder in some big ass heels, I don’t imagine that was easy. Mickie says she is a national recording artist in Country Music and she’s the one that is being asked to walk the red carpets and she’s the one that is being asked to endorse major products (Dr. Pepper). She holds the Knockouts Title and says that she is also the Knockouts Champion, but even though she beat Velvet again last week all she keeps hearing about is the Ladder Match next week. Mickie says she wants Gail & Taryn to come out and “break a leg…in fact break everything” because at the end of the day it doesn’t even matter because neither one will ever make the history that Mickie has made or as great as she is. Mickie says whoever wins that match she’s going to take that person all the way from the top of the ladder (of the Knockouts division) down to the bottom breaking her face on each and every rung on the ladder of the Knockouts division until she is standing at the top of the division all alone. She calls herself the Knockout of the Century and raises the title in the air as she winks at the camera.

Backstage Danny Davis, Bruce Prichard, & Al Snow discuss the horrid Gut Check Match from last week. Snow says Big O did better than Ryan Howe but Howe has improved since he started (that’s scary). Prichard says that the fans didn’t respond to either guy. Snow & Prichard argue about Prichard not liking anyone. Prichard says his mind was made up in the first few minutes of the match.

We cut to the Gut Check Judges with Howe & Big O now. Someone needs to slap Al Snow for that horrible jacket he’s wearing. Prichard says Big O has been eliminated and Ryan Howe will face the judges in the ring.

The Main Event Mafia arrives in the parking lot and Angle says that the numbers keep growing, and the fourth member will be revealed to the world.

    ----COMMERCIAL BREAK----

    BFG Series Match
Jay Bradley vs. “Super Mex” Hernandez w/Chavo Guerrero Jr.

Neither Bradley nor Hernandez has any points thus far. Hernandez & Bradley lockup and they stalemate before Bradley gets Hernandez in a side headlock. Hernandez shoves Bradley into the ropes and they run into each other but neither guy goes down. Bradley kicks Hernandez and then brings his elbow down across Mex’s back. Bradley hits the ropes but Hernandez explodes with a Shoulder Block for a nearfall. Hernandez grabs Bradley but Bradley catches him with a thumb to the eye and then beats him on him in the corner. Bradley attempts to whip Hernandez into the corner but Hernandez reverses it and charges at Bradley. Bradley nails Mex with an elbow and then climbs up top and puts his knee on Hernandez’s head and rides him down to the mat! 1…2…NO Hernandez kicks out! Bradley puts Hernandez in a chinlock but Hernandez fights it off until Bradley hits Hernandez across the back. Bradley hits Hernandez with an elbow that sends Mex through the ropes and onto the ramp. Bradley reaches out to pull Hernandez back in but Hernandez hits Bradley with a shoulder block through the ropes. Hernandez then runs down to the end of the ramp and comes flying over the ropes with Air Mexico onto Bradley in the ring! Hernandez clotheslines Bradley and then connects with a splash in the corner followed by a big over the shoulder backbreaker! 1…2…NO Bradley still kicks out! Hernandez grabs Bradley by the head but Bradley pokes him in the eyes and then mocks the Guerrero shimmy. Bradley hits an Atomic Drop and then sets up for the Boom Stick but Chavo grabs his boot behind the referee’s back. Bradley turns back around and runs right into the Get Off Me from Hernandez! 1…2…3!

Winner: Hernandez via pinfall (Get Off Me)

In the back Bully Ray talks about Austin Aries and says “you have to give that little son of a bitch credit.” Wes asks about Brooke Hogan but Bully says that’s personal and their talking about business right now. Bully says that you would have thought Hogan was in on that X-Division deal with Aries but he looked as shocked as everyone else. Wes again asks about Brooke and mentions her announcement that she’s engaged to Dallas Cowboys Center Phil Costa. Bully says he isn’t going to tell Wes again not to talk about that. He says that is personal and has nothing to do with club business. Bully says the winner of tonight’s match faces him at Destination X. Mr. Anderson says Bully doesn’t care who he faces because he can kick all of their asses but then Bully asks “what if nobody wins tonight” and they all laugh and toast each other.

    ----COMMERCIAL BREAK----

    Non-Title Match
Bro-Mans (Jesse & Robbie E) w/ Tara vs. “Cowboy” James Storm & Gunner

As Gunner & Storm come in the ring Bro Mans jump Gunner and start beating on him in the heel corner. Jesse hits a dropkick on Gunner and then tags Robbie into the match. Bro Mans whip Gunner into the ropes and connect with a Double Back Elbow and then Jesse hits an Uppercut followed by a clothesline from Robbie for a nearfall. Robbie chokes Gunner in the ropes and then he distracts the referee as Tara chokes Gunner in the ropes as well. Robbie hits a big right hand and then tags Jesse back into the match. Bro Mans whip Gunner into the corner and then Jesse charges at him but runs into an elbow. Robbie then dives at Gunner with a Cross Body but Gunner catches him in midair! Gunner hits a Fall Away Slam and then slaps himself several times to get fired up before tagging Strom into the match. Storm hits a Flying Forearm on Jesse and then a backdrop on Robbie. Storm kicks Jesse several times and then drops him with a clothesline. Robbie runs into an Atomic Drop from Storm followed by the Backstabber! Gunner tags back in and then they whip Jesse into the ropes and then flip him into their arms. Robbie runs over but they fling Jesse into Robbie nut first! Storm tosses Robbie out to the floor and then Gunner charges at Jesse in the corner but Jesse gets a boot up. On the outside Robbie is able to pull Storm into the ring post. Jesse whips Gunner into the ropes and Gunner catches him with a Sunset Flip, but Jesse is able to block it long enough for Robbie to slide back in the ring and hold onto Jesse so he won’t flip over. Storm runs in and nails Robbie with the Last Call! Gunner then hit’s a NASTY Uranagi Backbreaker on Jesse! The fans are going nuts as Gunner lifts Jesse up on his shoulders. Storm then bounces off the ropes and catches Jesse’s head in a Neckbreaker as Gunner hit’s a Powerslam at the same time! 1…2…3!

Winners: Storm & Gunner via pinfall (Neckbreaker/Powerslam)

Main Event Mafia is shown walking backstage.

    ----COMMERCIAL BREAK----

Jeff Hardy talks about Joseph Park in the back and says that Park is getting better, and he senses a bit of the dark side that’s inside Abyss and mentions his history with Abyss.

Main Event Mafia come down to the ring and is using the old theme again thankfully. Comedian Louie Anderson is shown in the crowd. Sting & Angle come out without Samoa Joe. Angle says the Main Event Mafia is back, back in the place it was originally born by the way, and they’re back for two reasons: 1 – to destroy Aces and Eights and 2 – to make sure Bully Ray losses the World Title.

Sting says the previous Main Event Mafia consisted of former World Heavyweight Champions and in situations like that you don’t always have the greatest unity so they decided to go for a no nonsense approach so that’s why they went to the 3rd member. He says this man represents change in the new Main Event Mafia and then introduces Samoa Joe.

Joe comes down to the ring looking snazzy in his MEM suit. A huge “Joe” chant starts up and he says the Mafia once again runs Las Vegas. He says for the past 12 months he’s always been a man of his own devices but he’s noticed lately that there is strength in numbers. He says that he even realizes that even a man like himself can’t beat up that many cowards at once (Aces & Eights) so now he has his own crew of the baddest men on the planet that specialize in beating up cowards. Joe says in this year’s BFG Series with Sting & Angle behind him he will run through every member of the BFG Series until he earns his shot at the gold when he will choke out Bully Ray for the World Title!

Angle says he’s the one that picked Joe as the 3rd member of the Mafia because of the amazing matches he had with Joe. He says those matches pushed him and led to respect and now that respect has led to loyalty. Angle says Joe is the baddest s.o.b. he’s ever been in the ring with. He says that Joe came to him this week with an idea of who the 4th member should be and when Joe told him he thought “damn that’s a good idea.” Angle says that many would pick this guy as the future of TNA but Angle says he is the here and now….MAGNUS!

Magnus comes out and hugs the other members. Magnus says when he was approached by Sting, Angle, & Joe he had to think about it for a split second because when opportunity knocks you answer the door. Magnus calls Sting one of the greatest in the history of wrestling and Angle the greatest wrestler bell to bell ever. He turns to Samoa Joe and says that he was put on the map because of his association and rivalry with Samoa Joe in 2012. Magnus says it’s not just about him or the Main Event Mafia even, it’s about Aces & Eights which is why he signed up for this. He says they are going to put an end to MEM for good.

Sting says July 18th is the next time the World Title is on the line and right now MEM is challenging Aces & Eights to a “fight” that night. Sting says Bully Ray asked the question “what if there wasn’t a winner tonight” and Sting says that MEM will make sure there is a winner in the X-Division Title Match.

    ----COMMERCIAL BREAK----

A great promo video for Destination X in 2 weeks from now airs saying “the pass, present, and future” of the X-Division will collide at DX.

    BFG Series Match
“Charismatic Enigma” Jeff Hardy vs. Joseph Park

TNA is actually selling “Park, Park, & Park” rally towels, wow. Hardy is rocking red, white, & blue pain for this match. Park offers a handshake and Hardy accepts. Hardy gets the crowd behind him and then they lockup and Park forces Hardy into the corner. They break clean and then Hardy gets Park in a side headlock. Park shoves Hardy into the ropes and then catches Hardy with a shoulder block to take Hardy down. Park seems surprised at that and then they lockup again and this time Hardy gets Park in a side headlock. Park shoves Hardy into the ropes and then goes for a clothesline, but Hardy ducks it and catches Park with a Leaping Mule Kick. Park retreats to the corner and Hardy comes flying in with a Splash and then he attempts to whip Park into the corner, but Park reverses it and charges at Hardy. Hardy floats up into a Spinning Headscissors Takeover and then hit’s the Twist of Fate! Hardy climbs up top and dives off with the Swanton, but Park rolls out of the way! Park picks Hardy up and slams him into the corner. Park hits Hardy with a forearm and then whips Hardy into the opposite corner. Park seems confused as to what he should do and then he whips Hardy hard into the corner again. Park again seems lost as to what he should do next before hitting a big Splash in the corner! The referee checks on Hardy and then Park hits a Snapmare Takeover and puts Hardy in a headlock. Hardy fights back up to his feet and breaks the hold with body shots. Hardy bounces off the ropes and ducks a clothesline and then hits a Flying Forearm! Hardy follows up with an Atomic Drop and then a takedown before Leg Dropping Park in the balls! Hardy hits a Basement Dropkick and covers Park for a nearfall. Hardy goes for the Twist again but this time Park shoves him into the ropes and connects with a Samoan Drop! Park climbs up top and hit’s the Closing Argument! 1…2…NO Hardy kicks out! Park goes for a Splash in the corner but Hardy catches him with an elbow and then climbs up top and dives off with the Whisper In The Wind! As Hardy lands he sells the back and hip. Park’s lip is busted and when he sees the blood he flips the hell out! Park grabs the referee and nails him with the Black Hole Slam! Hardy asks him what the hell is wrong with him and then Park snaps back into it realizing what just happened. Another referee runs out and disqualifies Park.

    Winner: Hardy via DQ

Park gets 10 points deducted for getting disqualified while Hardy earns 3 for the win.

    ----COMMERCIAL BREAK----

Ryan Howe joins the Gut Check Judges in the ring and I still want to kick Al Snow in the balls for that horrendous jacket. Ryan Howe says “abso-freaking-lutely” to the question of whether last night was his best effort. Big “NO” chants start up as Snow talks. Snow says he was the one that decided to give Howe this chance after watching him get better and grow. Snow’s answer is “no” despite all that.

Howe says it takes a lot of guys a lot of years to get a chance like this and for him to have that chance he knows he’s doing something right after just a few short years. The fans try their damndest to drown out Howe’s promo with boos. Howe says he proved he can entertain the fans like no one has ever seen (yeah nonexistent). He says he’s the future of TNA and then Danny Davis says his mind was made up before but the fans have changed his mind because Howe did not let them sidetrack him while they were booing him out of the arena. Davis says he thinks Howe has potential and it will take time but his answer is “yes” which gets a ton of boos.

Bruce Prichard says Howe definitely got a reaction from the audience and he won’t doubt his heart or desire, but if this was any other type of competition he might get a chance to go on to another round but this is Gut Check and the answer is NO. The fans actually popped for the “no.”

In the back Bully Ray says its Main Event time so it’s time to go to the ring and watch nobody win. DOC approaches Bully and says he heard MEM’s challenge and that he could take them out them out singlehandedly and he should be the next VP. Anderson walks up and mocks him and says he’s campaigning and next week there will be a vote so he needs to shut up. Bully says if Anderson & DOC spent as much time on taking out MEM instead of stabbing each other in the back they may have gotten the job done by now. He says they need to go out there and raise some hell and piss some people off.

    ----COMMERCIAL BREAK----

Aces & Eights come out and will watch the match from the crowd.

A video package hypes up the Ladder Match for next week.

    Main Event
    TNA X-Division Championship
    Triple Threat Match
“A-Double” Austin Aries (c) vs. Chris Sabin vs. Manic

Manic has some new music for his new name, it’s pretty generic though. Both Sabin & Manic go after Aries as the bell rings. Manic and Sabin shove each other away as they both want to beat on him. Sabin hangs Aries up in the tree of woe in the corner and elbows Manic in the face as he tried to get in on the action. Manic hits a Hesitation Dropkick on Aries in the corner and then Sabin kicks Manic and whips him into the opposite corner. Sabin nails Manic with a clothesline and then a Hesitation Dropkick on Aries of his own! Sabin whips Manic into another corner and then charges at him, but Manic flips over him and then grabs Sabin only to get elbowed in the head. Sabin kicks Manic and uses the momentum to slingshot himself over the top to the apron. Sabin hits a shoulder block on Manic through the ropes and then slingshots himself into a Sunset Flip on Manic for a nearfall! Sabin tosses Aries out to the floor and then whips Manic into the corner, but Manic floats over a charging Sabin. Sabin goes for a Lariat but Manic ducks and catches Sabin with a Spinning Octopus! Manic then transitions into a rollup, 1…2…NO Aries breaks it up! Aries hits Manic with a series of elbows and then whips him into the corner and charges at him only to run right into an elbow from the former Suicide. Manic springs to the top but Aries takes his legs out from under him crotching Manic on the top. Sabin nails Aries with a nasty Mafia Kick sending him out to the floor! Sabin climbs up top with Manic but Manic shoves Sabin off. Sabin then charges at him again but Manic cartwheels off the top rope using the ropes to balance himself. Manic then hits the ropes and ducks a clothesline from Sabin and hangs in between the ropes as Sabin looks on in frustration. Sabin charges at him but Manic drops down and Sabin goes flying through the ropes to the floor. Manic drop toe holds Aries into the ropes and then goes for a Springboard into a Guillotine Leg Drop over the top rope onto Aries as he hung on the ropes, but Aries moves out of the way and Manic crashes on the apron. Aries climbs up top but Sabin pulls him down and lights him up with chops. Sabin puts the boots to Aries and then attempts to whip him into the corner, but Aries reverses it and charges at Sabin with a Running Back Elbow followed by a Snapmare. Aries climbs up top and dives off with a Missile Dropkick to a seated Sabin! 1…2…NO Sabin kicks out! Aries backdrops Sabin over the top and then rakes his eyes across the ropes. Sabin climbs up top and dives off with the Diving Savage Flying Axe Handle on Sabin! Aries then goes for a Brainbuster but Sabin counters into a Front Suplex on Aires on the ramp! Aces & Eights begin walking toward the ring and as Manic set up for a dive Knux trips him. The referee was checking on Sabin & Aries on the ramp. Manic kicks Knux into the announce table and then dives over the top onto DOC on the floor, but DOC catches him in midair and Powerbombs the ever loving hell out of him on the floor! Aries and Sabin realize that Aces & Eights have surrounded the ring but Main Event Mafia begins walking down to the ring!

    ----COMMERCIAL BREAK----

Back from the break Manic is being stretchered to the back. Sabin & Aries are fighting on the apron and Aries hits a NASTY Death Valley Driver on Sabin on the apron! Main Event Mafia is watching over the match at ringside. Sabin is almost counted out before he finally rolls back in the ring and Aries quickly covers him for multiple nearfalls. He even stacks Sabin up and almost does a headstand trying to use all of his weight to keep Sabin down but Sabin still kicks out. Aries hit’s a Hangman’s Neckbreaker, 1…2…NO Sabin kicks out again! Aries drags Sabin through the ropes and hit’s another Neckbreaker as Sabin was hung up in the ropes! 1…2…NO Sabin kicks out and then Aries talks some trash to Sting at ringside. Aries spits on his hand and slaps Sabin which seems to awaken Sabin as he gets pissed and lights Aries up with chops and slaps! Sabin turns Aries’ chest into hamburger meat with chops and then he kicks the hell out of him and stands his throat! Sabin hits a Snapmare Takeover followed by an Enziguri! Sabin then hits a Running Mafia Kick! 1…2…NO Aries kicks out! Sabin goes for the Cradle Shock but Aries blocks it and backs Sabin in the corner. Aries nails Sabin with a multitude of nasty elbows and chops! Aries sets up for the IED but Sabin gets his boot up catching Aries in midair! Sabin goes for a Mafia Kick but Aries moves out of the way and Sabin’s leg gets caught in the ropes. Aries then grabs the leg and slams it across the apron. Aries climbs up top and dives off with a Missile Dropkick! Aries follows up with the IED and then he goes for the Brainbuster, but Sabin quickly rolls him up! 1…2…NO Aries kicks out! Sabin connects with a Spinning Back Kick and then he goes for the All Hail Sabin, but Aries counters into the Brainbuster! 1…2……..NO Sabin still kicks out! Aries locks in the Last Chancery! A big “this is awesome” chant starts as Sabin fights the hold! Sabin fights to the ropes to break the hold and then Aries stomps on his neck and climbs up top. Aries goes for the 450 Splash but Sabin rolls out of the way and hits a Powerbomb! 1…2…NO Aries kicks out but Sabin immediately goes into the All Hail Sabin! 1….2…..NO Aries kicks out! Sabin can’t believe it as a “TNA” chant starts. Sabin goes for Cradle Shock but Aries reverses it into a rollup! 1…2…NO Sabin kicks out! Aries gets back to his feet and hits the Roaring Elbow! Aries also crashes down to the mat as both men are laid out. They both get back to their feet and exchange strikes. Sabin hits a Spinning Back Kick and then a Running Elbow in the corner. Sabin runs to the opposite corner to set up for something but Aries follows right behind him with the IED! Aries lifts Sabin up to the top rope and goes for a Super Brainbuster but Sabin blocks it and hits a Super Cradle Shock off the top! 1…2…3!

Winner & NEW X-Division Champ: Sabin via pinfall (Super Cradle Shock)

After the match Sabin fist bumps with the MEM members and then raises the belt and points to Bully Ray. Sabin grabs a microphone and says all he has to say is that Bully Ray may very well be looking at the next World Heavyweight Champion!

    Ricardo's Wellness Failure

    - There is no official word yet on what Ricardo Rodriguez was suspended for but there's online rumors that he had been taking fat burners. Independent wrestler Leva Bates, who is a good friend of Ricardo's, made a post this morning about him being suspended for using fat burners. Her post was quickly deleted. Another indy wrestler, JD Maverick, made a reference to fat burners in a Facebook post he made:

"So weird that some WWE Superstars get arrested for DUI’s, pot, and other illegal activity AND don’t get suspended…yet fat burners from GNC get you 30 days? GTFO."

"nope. She's way prettier... I don't even get sexually harassed by my strength coach."

Last week, recently released star Briley Pierce, the brother of Dolph Ziggler, made some interesting tweets but they have since been deleted. Here they are from a screencap posted on WrestlingForum.com:
