TNA Wrestlers Daniels and Kazarian Talk Tag Team, Comics, Kaz Donates Hair To Charity
TNA Wrestlers Daniels and Kazarian recently spoke with The Roman Show concerning their tour stop in Fort Lauderdale Florida, wrestling as a tag team, their longtime friendship, comics and more.
On Kaz breaking into the business and meeting Mike Tenay: It was the summer of 1997 in San Diego at an autograph signing. I got a chance to speak with Mike Tenay, I was just about to get into the wrestling business. I got free tickets to the signing and to a taping for the following week, we got a chance to talk. I decided I was going to Killer Kowalski's wrestling school. So basically i was like a sponge soaking up information. Picking peoples brains, who elses brain to pick than the professor Mike Tenay. So we chatted and i he gave me the wrap about the business. We had a few things in common, where we came from. I closed with 'Hopefully you can call one of my matches one day'. When i saw Mike again, he remembered it and so it was kind of cool. It's always something we talk about now.
Kaz donating his hair to charity: “It is what it is. It is a haircut, nothing more, nothing less. Pro wrestling and entertainment itself is all about reinventing itself. You look fresh and everything. I am still heavy metal. It is easier to manage. As a fighter, it’s one less thing that gets in the way in the heat of battle.”
Daniels on his fondness for comics: “I am a comic book geek, I have been collecting comic books for almost 20 years now. I am a big Marvel fan, big Wolverine and Avengers fan.”
Daniels on his friendship with Kazarian: Frankie and I have been friends since 1996. We've known each other, we've wrestled each other, we've wrestled as a team together, we know the ins and outs of that ring, we finish each-others sentences. It's like we are a married couple except we are both heterosexual and handsome. There's no doubt in my mind and no doubt in his mind that we will be the next world tag team champions.

Kelly Kelly Talks Getting Hit with Singapore Cane Posted by Steve Carrier on 04/20/2012 at 09:10 AM
Speaking to WWE Magazine, Kelly Kelly discussed her WWE rookie year in 2006 and recalled an angle where Sandman struck her on the head with a Singapore Cane.
"I remember I took a hit one time from Sandman, and I don't think a girl has ever taken that kind of shot before in WWE," she says. "And, holy moly, I saw stars and I wanted to cry. He hit me right on top of the head. Mike Knox even hit his finisher on me. Come to think of it, when I signed up, I had some pretty brutal things done to me. I definitely was fearless back then."
The complete interview is featured in the May 2012 issue.
WWE will announce today that Alberto Del Rio and his personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez have officially been moved over to the SmackDown brand. Del Rio has earned a World Heavyweight Title shot against Sheamus and has been touring with the blue brand overseas for the past two weeks.
Sky Interview: Talks The Beautiful People, Knockouts Roster And More
TNA Knockout Velvet Sky was interviewed by
The Miami Herald. Here is a quick recap:
On the breakup
of the beautiful people: “For a while it was me and
Angelina [Love in the Beautiful People].I was never able to shine really and do
anything on my own because she was always in the spotlight. Since then, they’ve
broken up the Beautiful People, which I’m sad about because I wish they were
still going forward with that. We had a lot of fun, her and I together, but I
just feel like they broke us up, and I was able to be on my own as a singles
“I just feel I have grown in the sense of
you don’t have someone to have your back all the time. You don’t have the option
to tag out and recuperate. I feel, more or less, being a singles competitor
instead of in a tag team has helped me branch out and come into my own as a
On The early days Of the TNA
Knockouts: “That was probably my favorite locker room
of Knockouts. I mean the girls who we have now, of course I absolutely love all
of them, but we had a special bond because we were all starting from the
beginning in a new company where we didn’t know what to expect. It was kind of
like we were learning and exploring new things together. It has changed
drastically from the Knockouts division of 2007 to where it is now. “It’s still going strong, and we have a great group of girls, but it
will never be the bond it was with the first ever Knockouts on the roster in
2007. It was brand new to everybody, and everybody was learning together. To
this day, we just keep getting more and more girls coming to the roster. I’m
grateful and appreciative for every girl we have here because they all work
Differences between the knockouts and other
women in pro wrestling:
“There are matches [elsewhere] where the girls
will wrestle for three minutes or so and go to the back. They don’t say a word,
and you really don’t know who is who. Here [TNA] we are so grateful we get the
chance to be able to come into our own, have time to talk and have our
characters develop. I just feel like that has us connected with the fans
The female wrestler she would most like to
have a match against:
“I would absolutely love to work
with Amy Dumas one day, the wrestler formally known as Lita. She is the whole
reason I wanted to get into this business. I have always been a fan of wrestling
here and there, but when I saw her for the first time, I was just so blown away
by her look and athletic ability and how she connected to the crowd, whether it
was male or female. “I try to pattern myself after her. I
don’t do the high-flying maneuvers, staying on the ground, but she is the whole
reason I wanted to get into this business and got into wrestling. If she were to
come here, I think that would be awesome. I would love to work with her one
Memorable fan moment: “It was at a house show last year. Sometimes they will have me do
pictures with fans, and the pictures get printed right there before the show
starts. The next fan in line, she was what looked to be a female, and she came
up to me. When she opened her mouth, I kind of questioned if she was a female,
but I thought that wasn’t right. So we are getting ready to take a picture and
at the last second before the flash, as I was looking at the camera smiling, she
looks at me sticking her tongue out on my chin and left it there. I thought
about what was going on here, but we did another one. The second time we did it
she kind of did the same thing, but left it there a little bit longer. It was
really kind of gross, but I come to find out she was a post-op he. You had to be
there with everyone staring there sort of laughing and trying to figure out what
was going on. Then I had a big drool stain after.”
TNA Impact Wrestling Results April 19, 2012 from Orlando, FL
* The show kicks off with TNA World Heavyweight Champion Bobby Roode coming out. He he's sporting a new, short hairstyle. Roode started off with some basic gloating. Roode talked about all of his wins, until he was interrupted by Mr. Anderson.
Anderson says he doesn't need a beer bottle to win. Roode tells Anderson to get back in line. Jeff Hardy then came out and limped to the ring. Hardy also wants a World Title shot. Anderson pointed out that he was there first, it should be his title shot. Roode moderated some bickering as refs came out to keep things cool.
This brought Hulk Hogan to the screen. Hogan said that he wants all the champions in the ring later, and announced a number one contender's match between Hardy and Anderson for later in the night.
(1) Bully Ray & Crimson defeated Matt Morgan & X Division champion Austin Aries. Ray picked up the win for his team with a roll-up and handful of tights on Aries.
* Garett came out out with AJ Styles, Mr. Anderson, and RVD to celebrate their victory in the Lethal Lockdown match at the PPV. AJ complimented Garett on his balls at Lockdown, but their celebration is interrupted by Ric Flair. From the top of the ramp Flair claims that Eric is responsible for all the talent in the ring. He called Garett a punk before calling all of them punks. Flair promised a party next week as a tribute to Eric Bischoff. He's hosting it, and he's drinking at it, and the four in the ring are not invited. AJ and Anderson sell broken up.
* Backstage, Christopher Daniels and Kazarian held a piece of paper that contains the dirt they have on Styles.
(2) Kurt Angle defeated AJ Styles. Christopher Daniels and Kaz came out. Daniels had a piece of paper and encouraged Kurt to get AJ, but Kurt seemed annoyed and surprised they came out. Daniels hopped up on the apron and distracted the referee. AJ then grabbed the paper as Angle rolled him up for the win. After the match, Angle told AJ he had nothing to do with Daniels and Kaz as AJ put the paper in his tights.
* Backstage, Joseph Park ran into Gunner. Gunner tried to take off, but park informed him that there was a lawsuit pending against him. Gunner again denied knowledge of Abyss's whereabouts and he told Park to talk to Bully Ray.
* Backstage, Hulk Hogan told Rob Van Dam he's been added to the #1 contender's match later tonight.
* All of the TNA Champions (minus ODB & Eric Young) came out for their in-ring meeting with Hulk Hogan: Tag Champs Samoa Joe and Magnus, Knockouts Champ Gail Kim, TV Champ Devon, X Division Champ Austin Aries and World Champ Bobby Roode.
After Hogan came out, he announced that change is in the air, and starting next week change is coming. Once a month, Impact will be called "Open Fight Night." Basically, a talent from outside TNA will show up to have a match. There will be three judges and Hogan himself will decide if the person gets a contract or not. On open fight night, anyone can come to the ring and make a challenge, and whoever the person challenges must come to the ring to fight. Roode is pissed. Hogan told them that any champion must be ready to fight. Gail asked who decides this. Hogan decides. Hogan said he wants to hear who the fans want to see.
Devon promised to be a fighting champ. Hogan announced that from now on, the TV Title will be defended every single week. Devon was happy with the announcement. Hogan closed the segment with a statement that on Open Fight Night, everyone fights. Roode looked dismayed.
(3) Miss Tessmacher, Tara, Mickie James and Velvet Sky defeated Gail Kim, Madison Rayne, Sarita and Rosita in a 8-woman tag match. Tessmacher rolled up Gail Kim for the win.
* ODB and Eric Young were shown sunbathing by a pool with their Knockout Tag titles. A Guy walked up and Young got jealous, so he took his pants off.
(4) TV Champion Devon defeated Gunner to retain the TV Title. Devon hit a spinebuster to pick up the win.
* James Storm came out. He thanked everyone and said sorry to the crowd for losing at Lockdown. Storm talked about tucking his daughter into bed and having to tell her that he lost at the PPV. He said that Roode didn't beat him, but that he beat himself. Storm then cited the crowd for his inspiration, and thanked his dad up in Heaven, who was looking down on him, and he knows is dad is proud of him. Storm said maybe his luck has run out and he left.
(5) Rob Van Dam defeated Jeff Hardy and Mr. Anderson in a three-way match to become the new number one contender to the TNA World Title. Hardy nailed Anderson with a Swanton Bomb. RVD went for the big splash on Anderson, Hardy then went for the Twist of Fate, RVD reversed it and scored the pin.
Jericho Reveals Real Reason for WWE Return Posted by Steve Carrier on 04/19/2012 at 02:14 PM
The latest issue of WWE Magazine features an interview with Chris Jericho, who talks about his current WWE run, when he plans to leave again, his fued with CM Punk and much more.
Jericho said before CM Punk started "ripping him off", he had no intention of coming back to WWE and was happy with what he was doing. "But when I saw C.M. Punk performing all of my stuff, it inspired me to return and remind everyone just what's going on."
Regarding his rumored departure from WWE this summer, Jericho said he might leave and come back again. "I outclass everyone in the company. It'll be the end when I decide it's the end. I might leave and then come back. Listen: When you get to this level, you don't have to play by the rules anymore. When I can't compete at a top level anymore, then I won't come back."
Jericho said he would consider working a schedule similar to the Undertaker's, where he'd be presented as a "special attraction" and could come and go as he pleases.
He also said he recently changed his whole training regime and diet, but did not mention DDP Yoga specifically. "I made a lot of overall changes, lost a lot of weight. And when you're physically sharper, that makes you mentally sharper as well."
Jericho Busted Open Posted by Steve Carrier on 04/19/2012 at 08:35 AM
- Chris Jericho apparently had to get 3 staples in his head after Wednesday's RAW live event in Milan, Italy. Jericho and WWE Champion CM Punk have been working No DQ matches overseas since Jericho joined the tour. He wrote:
"Thanks to @cmpunk I now have 3 staples in the back of my head. Wait until tomorrow in Toulouse, France Punk. I will exact my revenge..."
Interview: Discusses The Winning Streak, His Goals, More
interview with Crimson Full interview available at thebradyhicks.com
Still Being Undefeated: “It’s huge. I’ve been with the company 15
months now and to still have the unbeaten streak going for me, to be tested
physically and mentally by some of the top guys in TNA, there’s not a greater
experience for me.”
On Being a Tag Team
Guy: “It was successful, as you guys could see, but I’m more of a
one-man army. I like going out there and taking care of business on my own, not
having to depend on anybody else. So it ran its course and it was pretty quick …
I like the tag team division, and it’s going to get stronger as we go, but I’d
just rather be out there kicking ass on my own.”
Goals: “It was a huge honor to win those TNA tag team championships
and it was a huge honor to defend those championships. But just like anybody
else who gets into pro wrestling, your goal is to be the World heavyweight
champion. And the faster I can get to that point, the happier I will
On TNA’s Youth Movement: “It’s time
for the younger generation to step up and start taking over, if you can say
something like that. It’s huge. This company’s been around for 10 years, and the
younger guys are going to have to step up, that’s just the way it is … Younger
guys just chomping at the bit to get out there and prove that we belong. So it’s
something that I’m going to cherish, to get that spot. To get that main event.
To get that World heavyweight championship.”
Having Potential to be the Top Company: “It definitely does. I love
where I’m at. I love TNA. I love being here, being a part of this roster … It
does have all the pieces in place. And about guys coming in from other
companies, if they’re coming in for the right reason – to help the product grow
– then I’m all for it. I think it’s just a matter of time.”
On the Influence of Hogan, Flair, Sting, etc.: “It is
really cool. Those are the guys that I grew up watching. Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan,
Sting, those guys are … legends. And those are guys that, when I got in
wrestling, I knew in my mind where I wanted to be. Working next to those guys ….
to have them here is tremendous. Especially as a younger guy on the roster,
they’re all about helping the younger guys and passing the torch, so to speak,
and trying to get us ready for the next level. It’s huge having those guys

interview with AJ Styles Full interview available at thebradyhicks.com
TNA’s Youth Movement, as it Stands: “They’re … WE are definitely in
a better place. If we’re making new stars, that’s what we need to do. We gotta
build that foundation, and it starts by making new stars. You can’t rely on Rob
Van Dam and Jeff Hardy and guys like that who have been around for awhile …. or
even AJ Styles for that matter. You have to continue to build new stars to rely
on and to keep it fresh.”
On The Development of Bobby
Roode and James Storm: “I gotta tell you, when those two broke up as
a tag team I thought, ‘Oh man, that’s the worst thing that could ever happen to
tag team wrestling.’ Literally these guys were the best in the world as a tag
team … It’s crazy what has happened with them over time. I can’t say that I
don’t want to see this match happen because I do.”
Being in the Locker Room with Guys Like Flair, Hogan, Sting, and
Angle: “It’s a great thing to have around. If you can soak up as
much information as they’re putting out. You can only get better with those guys
around you … These guys have done a lot in this business. If you can soak up
some of that information. The sky’s the limit.”
Relationship with Flair: “I soaked up so much information from Ric
Flair that I realized he’s kind of a douche-bag. Neither Fortune nor myself
wanted to be around him any more. Fortune kind of imploded because of
On Bobby Roode as Champion: “Like it
or not, Bobby Roode is the best world heavyweight champion RIGHT NOW. The guy is
good. You can’t deny that fact. He looks good. He wrestles even better than he
looks. This guy is unstoppable at this point in his career.”
On TNA Overtaking WWE: “It’s not going to happen
overnight. We don’t have the money that the other company has. We just have to
take it slow … When we move to0 fast, that’s how you destroy a company.”
It's said that with the success of WrestleMania 28 coming out this past week,
the chances of a rematch between John Cena and
The Rock at WrestleMania 29 have increased. As of this week, WrestleMania 29 is
scheduled to be headlined by The Rock vs. either Cena or Brock Lesnar.
Several factors will play into that decision, mainly where Lesnar stands
at the end of this year, if he's better for business over Cena and more. WWE
officials are reportedly unsure of Lesnar's future and how hot he
will be come next January. While they originally wanted to have the WrestleMania
29 main event announced by now, word now is that it won't be decided on until around November of this year.

(3) Tyler Reks defeated Curt Hawkins with a roll-up. Striker hits Hawkins with the cane. Regal also fired Reks. Reks goes nuts as NXT goes off the air.
Spoilers: WWE Diva Busted Open Posted by Steve Carrier on 04/18/2012 at 11:07 AM
- WWE Diva Natalya was busted open and bloodied at Tuesday's SmackDown tapings from London. The accident came in a match against AJ Lee when AJ took out her frustrations on Natalya and wouldn't stop beating on her in the corner. Paramedics had to come out and check on Natalya before cleaning the blood off her and the ring.
- WWE's website has a new article up looking at the popularity of Daniel Bryan's "YES!" chants. They re-posted Steve Austin's Twitter comments from a few weeks back where he endorsed the chants. Bryan said about Austin's comments:
"I think [Austin] was probably just placating fans. There’s a percentage of the WWE Universe that likes things they’re not supposed to like, and they’re responsible for the 'YES!' chants. When I first started doing it, the only thing I thought was that this is going to annoy the hell out of people."
Former WWE talent Shane "Hurricane" Helms is not a fan of
WWE's "CM Drunk" storyline. He wrote during Monday's Raw SuperShow where Chris
Jericho claimed CM Punk was spotted drinking alcohol before defending his title against Mark Henry: "I like both

Helms also critiqued a WWE star's

Wrestler Challenges Kurt Angle For Withdrawal From Olympic Trials
Amateur wrestler Devon Nicholson who just
happens to wrestle professionally as "Hannibal" in the Canadian independent
circuit issued the following press release today:
a former National Freestyle Wrestling Champion, National Team Trial Winner,
Canadian Open Winner in Grappling and am currently the alternate for Canada in
Greco Roman Wrestling. I have defeated all of the wrestlers how places in the
top 4 in the Canadian CIS University Championships in 2011 (I am not in
University so I could not compete in those.)
I was also a pro wrestler
for 10 years. 1996 US Olympic Champion Kurt Angle has recently made a mockery
out of amateur wrestling. He went on TV to news sources all over the world
saying he was back in training and would be competing in the US Olympic trials
and would at least make an alternate. This took press away from the US amateur
athletes who really are competing in the trials and taking it serious. After a
year build up last week Angle said he was pulling out due to a partially torn
MCL that wont need surgery yet he still wrestled professionally last night in a
big match on TNA Wrestling’s Lockdown PPV. Kurt Angle has greatly offended
me. He has made a mockery of amateur wrestling and has made pro wrestlers look
like wimps I am sick of this guy running his mouth, not taking amateur wrestling
seriously and making pro wrestlers look like they have it easy. I am challenging
him to a real match. I have faced Canadian Olympic Champion Daniel Igali in my
last year of high school and held my own but I wans’t angry at him and I am also
much more technical now so he will not have it easy if he’s man enough to agree.
After supposedly training for a year he should be willing to accept one
On a side note I fully tore my MCL at a tournament in early
November but still kept training and competing. I will not get surgery until I
100% know I won’t be going to the London games as an alternate. It is not a
totally debilitating. Angle had an extremely serious next injury before the
Atlanta games but still pulled though. That was highly inspirational. Now he’s
showing that he doesn’t have hart or respect anymore."
WWE Hall of
Famer "Stone Cold" Steve
Austin revealed to Zoo

the right situation, the right opponent and the right
circumstances came up for the WWE, then it would certainly be something worth
considering. Could I have another match or two? Yeah. Physically I am in really good shape
right now. People seem to think I am half-dead!... In my movies, I do some
pretty hellacious fight scenes that, maybe, a normal person couldn’t do. So my
physicality is fine, my neck is fine after having it
all fused-up. I am not pitching for another match but if it was a win-win
situation for everybody, then absolutely, I would consider it."
Event: WWE Monday Night RAW Airdate: Monday, April 16th, 2012 (USA Network) Location: The O2 Arena in London, England
Quick results: CM Punk def. Mark Henry Santino Marella def. David Otunga Brodus Clay def. Dolph Ziggler by DQ Big Show & The Great Khali def. Primo & Epico Lord Tensai def. John Cena
WWE Champion CM Punk def. Mark Henry In their third meeting in as many weeks, WWE Champion CM Punk put his title on the line against Mark Henry in London in a No Count-Out, No Disqualification Match. With both Superstars taking full advantage of the match stipulation, they went to war.
At one point, Punk acquired a steel chair and blasted Henry with a thunderous shot to the mid section. But when The Straight Edge Superstar went for another shot, Henry countered with a big boot to the gut and smashed him with the chair. As their battle waged on, the champion avoided a World’s Strongest Slam with a kick to the head then a running high knee. But when Henry battled back and charged at Punk in the corner, he ran headfirst into a steel chair when Punk ducked out of the way. With The World’s Strongest Man down, Punk leaped from the top rope and bashed Henry with steel chair to retain his WWE Championship.
Chris Jericho accused WWE Champion CM Punk of drinking in a London pub After CM Punk’s successful title defense against Mark Henry, Chris Jericho revealed the two would square off at Extreme Rules in a Chicago Street Fight. Jericho then accused Punk of drinking earlier in the day at a London pub. Punk vehemently denied Jericho’s claim and urged Jericho to come to ring and smell his breath. After calling Punk’s straight edge lifestyle a façade, Jericho declared that Punk is gong to lose his WWE Championship at Extreme Rules. Before Punk could respond, Jericho vanished from the arena screen.
United States Champion Santino Marella def. David Otunga In a fight between former WrestleMania tag team captains, Santino’s United States Championship was up for grabs. Early in the bout, it looked like Otunga was about to pin Santino and capture the title, but Santino cleverly put his leg on the ropes to break the hold. Later, following the quick thinking move, Santino relied on his trusty Cobra to down Otunga and preserve his title.
Brock Lesnar revealed why he’s back in WWE In an exclusive interview with WWE, Brock Lesnar recalled the successes he’s enjoy in high school and college athletics, all the way through WWE and UFC. The three-time – and youngest WWE Champion ever – said he’s back in WWE because beating people up makes him happy. He’ll have his chance when he squares off with John Cena at Extreme Rules in a no-disqualification, no count-out Extreme Rules Match.
John Laurinaitis announced a mystery opponent for John Cena Concerned that his WrestleMania loss could have been the end of his era, John Cena emphatically declared that he will fight Brock Lesnar at Extreme Rules and overcome any fear he has of him. To give everyone a taste of what is to come in what he calls the “People Power” era, Raw and Smackdown General Manager John Laurinaitis announced John Cena would face a mystery opponent in an Extreme Rules Match on Raw Supershow. The GM also revealed there will be an Extreme Rules contract signing between John Cena and Brock Lesnar during next Mondays special three-hour Raw SuperShow starting at 8/7 CT on USA Network.
Brodus Clay def. Dolph Ziggler by Disqualification Brodus Clay made a grand entrance by dancing his way to the ring with the Funkettes. Vickie Guerrro then heralded in Dolph Ziggler. When Jack Swagger interfered in the bout, it ended in an immediate disqualification. After the chaotic ending, Vickie found herself standing sandwiched between Clay and one of the Funkettes. Clearly uncomfortable with her position, she high-tailed it out of the ring. That was the perfect queue for Clay and the Brodus and the Funkettes to engage in a celebratory dance.
IC Champ Big Show & The Great Khali def. WWE Tag Team Champions Primo & Epico With AW watching from the entrance ramp, The Great Khali started by battling Epico. After Epico took a big boot to the face, Rosa and the tag team champions tried to flee the scene, perhaps knowing that was only the start of more suffering. But Big Show had other plans and tossed both tag team champions back into the ring for a pair of Khali Chops. A Big Show chokeslam and Punjabi Plunge finished off both champions for a double cover.
Lord Tensai def. John Cena in an Extreme Rules Match With anticipation about who John Cena would face in the Extreme Rules Match, John Laurinaitis revealed it would be one of WWE’s most destructive forces – Lord Tensai. Looking on from ringside, Laurinaitis and David Otunga watched Cena battle the dangerous 350-pounder.
As the two fought tooth-and-nail, Cena countered one of Tensai’s moves and tossed him over his back and onto the arena floor in an impressive show of strength. With Tensai feeling the effects of being slammed, Cena used the steel ring steeps to bashTensai in the head. Then, Mr. Sakamoto inserted himself into the action and attacked Cena. Following up, Otunga tossed Cena back into ring.
Engaged in back and forth show of brute strength, it looked like Tensai finally had Cena where he wanted when he dropped his crushing weight onto him … but Cena kept fighting. When Cena had the STF locked in on Tensai, Otunga charged to be met with Attitude Adjustment. Then in a stunning ending, Tensaid sprayed Cena in the eyes with a stinging, green mist then delivered a massive powerbomb to preserve his undefeated streak.

Lethal Lockdown Match: The stipulation of this match states that the team leader from the losing team will have to leave IMPACT WRESTLING. The first two are unleashed in the cage until the next team member is introduced and from this point every two minutes another member from one team will be introduced into the match and a ref is not brought in to the match until all members have been introduced. The match started with Gunner and Garett facing off in the ring. After some back and forth Bully Ray entered and the two beat down on Garett who was already being dominated at the time by Gunner. Austin Aries came in to even the score and help Garett. Next Kazarian, sporting a new haircut was introduced into the match to give team Bischoff the advantage and allow them to dominate until AJ Styles was introduced, at which point he unleashed a counter offensive to even things up. Christopher Daniels came in to once again to allow team Eric Bischoff to capitalize on the numbers advantage and wear down team Garett. Thankfully help came in the form of Mr. Anderson to take away the advantage and allow for Team Garett to get back on their feet but it was short lived as team Garett was too worn down and Team Eric Bischoff continued to overwhelm them. Next to enter was Eric Bischoff who immediately held his own son, Garett, down and allowed the team to unleash an onslaught of chops and kicks on him. After Team Eric Bischoff dominating the final member of team Garett, Rob Van Dam, made his way in and was followed by the lowering of the cage roof that held weapons all while Eric Bischoff cowered in the corner. With Eric Bischoff not being of much help it allowed for Team Garett to finally pick up the advantage. After all of the members of Team Eric were taken out they focused their attention on Eric Bischoff but did not continue for long as Team Eric Bischoff came back into play. The teams continued on their back and forth assault with brutal attacks with weapons and high risk moves. It finally came down to all members being down except for Eric Bischoff and Garett. Eric beatdown on Garett but after turning his back on Garett he was able to get to his feet and hit Eric over the head with a guitar and pick up the pin on Eric Bischoff. This means that Eric Bischoff is no longer allowed in IMPACT WRESTLING.
World Tag Team Championship: Magnus and Shelley kicked things off and Shelley was able to get the upperhand to hand off to Sabin to come in but he was quickly forced to face off with Joe. Joe was able to dominate for the most part. The teams went back and forth with Joe and Magnus trying to limit the match to the ground and pound game and prevent the Guns from taking things high risk. For what seemed to be the biggest majority of the match Magnus and Joe was able to limit it to the ground game and keep control of the match leading to a near pinfall. The Guns however were able to get back into it, unleashing the Motorcity Machine Guns everyone is used to and turn it into a fairly even match. However in the end Samoa Joe and Magnus were able to get the pinfall and retain the Tag Team Championships.
Television Championship: Robbie E Started out the match in full force but Devon was able tot bring the power game to the match and gain the upper hand to work on Robbie E and get the pin to allow him to retain the Television Championship. But his victory were short lived when Robbie T came into the ring to take out Devon from behind and Robbie E was able to get a few cheap shots in before leaving the cage.
Knockouts Championship: Gail Kim took control of this match for the first part but it turned into a very competitive match with a lot of back and forth between these two eager competitors. Gail Kim went to work on Velvets back but this didn’t stop Velvet as she was able to land a powerbomb from the top rope on Gail. This was not enough as Gail was able to turn it around quickly by reversing a roll up from Velvet and get the three count on Velvet by grabbing her tights and retain the Knockouts Championship.
Ric Flair entered the ring to express his anger to Hulk Hogan over Eric Bischoff losing his job. After a brief exchange Hogan laid out Flair and left the cage. After Flair was able to get back up he tried to get Hogan to come back to the ring to fight but was unsuccessful in his attempt.
Matt Morgan Vs. Crimson Crimson seemed apprehensive to start fighting in this match and as a result Morgan was able to get the upper hand fairly quickly. Crimson finally got his head in the game and began to lay out Morgan blow by blow. Crimson seemed to be on the path to victory but Morgan was able to turn things around on Crimson and pick up momentum from there. After some time of back and forth, Crimson was able to make an attempt to leave the ring from crawling over the cage, Morgan was able to slow him down but it was not enough as Crimson was able to take out Morgan and crawl out of the cage to remain undefeated.
Kurt Angle vs. Jeff Hardy Kurt Angle dominated from the outset of the match though Hardy was finally able to get a few hits in after some time into the match, but Angle turned things around fairly quickly. The match continued going back and forth and the match intensity continued to elevate and this led to Jeff Hardy getting his head split open. Although Hardy was bleeding he was able to unleash an offensive on Angle and turn things around after a long period of being dominated by Kurt Angle. Hardy made an attempt to crawl out of the cage but was stopped by Angle who unleashed an Angle Slam on him. Shortly after Angle made an attempt to leave the match but was stopped by Hardy. Hardy went for the door but was put into and Angle Ankle Lock, which was reversed by Hardy and put into an Ankle lock by Hardy. The match continued for some back and forth but went into an epic ending with Jeff Hardy doing a Swonton bomb off the top of the cage leading into a pin for the win.
Knockouts Tag Team Championship. ODB started the match with a vengeance as she went straight to work on Sarita and Rosita. ODB Made sure that Eric stayed out of things, which he tried getting involved at one point counting a pin that didn’t even involve ODB. When ODB made Eric leave it turned the favor towards Sarita and Rosita. However, ODB was able to get things back and her favor and get the win to retain the Knockouts Tag Team Titles.
World Heavyweight Title Match Storm couldn’t seem to wait for Roode to get into the ring and started the match outside of the cage immediately taking control of the match and setting the tone. The two competitors went to war outside of the steel cage for some time at one point drawing blood on Storm before even getting into the ring to start the match. After the match finally got underway Roode was in full control over a bleeding James Storm. Finally Storm seemed to build up some power to fight back but control of the match quickly returned in favor of Bobby Roode for much of the match. After hearing the crowd chanting for him, Storm seemed to have a fire ignite inside and Storm was able to gain full control of the match. The two competitors continued to wear each other down with numerous pin and submission attempts. Roode went to make an attempt to leave the cage which lead to the two pounding each other into the cage. Storm passed on a chance to leave the cage after taking out Roode but instead went back to beat on Roode. Storm attempted a superkick on Roode but instead hit the referee and allowed Roode to start beating on Storm. Roode brought into play a beer bottle that he blasted over the head of Storm. Storm was able to get back briefly into it and kicked Roode but kicked him through the door of the cage inadvertently giving Roode the win to retain the Championship.
