    UITSLAGEN ROH 14 MAART

Its Monday night folks, and it’s time for a big night of wrestling. While some fans think of the WWE right of the bat. The top notch action I am referring to is Ring of Honor. It should be an exciting night of action where we will see who is the big winner in the Top Prospect Tourney. So sit back and relax as we enjoy the most exciting hour of wrestling on TV period.

The show starts off with some snazzy music and highlights from the Bravado Brothers before we cut to our regular ROH intro.

Before the match starts we see Redwood and Dempsy Interviewed in the back. Steve Corino Interrupts them and warns them about the Bravado Brothers.

    1st Match

Bravado Brothers vs. Grizzly Redwood and Bobby Dempsy

Winners via pinfall The Bravado Brothers

After the match the show highlights that lead up to the finals in tonight’s Top Prospect Tournament.

    Second Match

Davey Richards vs. Tony Kozina in a Pancrase rules match.

    Winner via TKO Davey Richards

Prince Nana comes out and says that we have not seen him and a while. But that’s ok, because he didn’t miss us to much either, especially this one fat guy in the stand that they don’t show. He then introduces Mia as the hottest chick in ROH; if this is the case for ROH than they need to look a little harder for women. But the Prince is here on business and he wants to introduce us to a new member of the family Tommaso Ciampa.

    3rd  Match

Match Mike Sydel vs. Tommaso Ciampa.

    Winner via pinfall Tommaso Ciampa

    4th Match

Kyle O’Reilly vs. “The Prodigy” Mike Bennett in the finals of the Top Prospect Tournament.

    Winner via pinfall

World Heavyweight Champion Edge def. Brodus Clay (Non-Title Match)
United States Champion Sheamus def. Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston (Non-Title Match)
    Cody Rhodes def. Trent Barreta
    Layla def. Kelly Kelly
Big Show & Kane def. WWE Tag Team Champions Justin Gabriel & Heath Slater (Disqualification)
    Jack Swagger def. Chris Masters
    Rey Mysterio def. Ted DiBiase
Christian def. Alberto Del Rio (Steel Cage Match)

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Although Christian picked up a rewarding victory over arch-rival Alberto Del Rio in a Steel Cage Match, Del Rio gained significant WrestleMania momentum by stinging World Heavyweight Champion Edge with a painful Con-Chair-To.

Christian def. Alberto Del Rio in a Steel Cage Match (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Ever since Alberto Del Rio put Christian out of commission, Captain Charisma has been out for retribution every chance he gets. A Steel Cage Match proved the ultimate opportunity. After a tooth-and-nail struggle from atop the cage, it was Christian whose feet hit the arena floor first, giving him sweet victory.

When the bitter fight continued outside the cage, Edge interrupted by driving Del Rio’s car into the arena. After threatening to damage Del Rio’s luxury auto with a steel chair, The Rated-R Superstar was attacked from behind by Brodus Clay. With the champion down, Clay smashed him with the same chair. Then, Del Rio blasted his WrestleMania opponent with a stinging Con-Chair-To.

Rey Mysterio def. Ted DiBiase (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Rey Mysterio took care of business against Ted DiBiase with a 619-splash combo. Although Maryse accompanied DiBiase to the ring for the start of the match, she wasted no time making a quick exit after his loss.

Jack Swagger def. Chris Masters (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Doing what he does best, Jack Swagger forced Chris Masters to tap out using his highly effective ankle lock. Afterward, Michael Cole joined his WrestleMania trainer for an ugly attack on Masters. While The All-American American stepped on Masters’ head, Cole used an ankle lock to add insult to injury.

Big Show & Kane def. WWE Tag Team Champions Justin Gabriel & Heath Slater by Disqualification (WATCH | PHOTOS)
In typical Corre fashion, Wade Barrett and Ezekiel Jackson couldn't stay away from the action. Their involvement cost Gabriel & Slater the match. But the disqualification conveniently preserved their titles. In a familiar Corre 4-on-1 onslaught, the odds were too much to overcome – even for two of WWE’s largest Superstars. Kane was brutally assaulted with sections of the steel ring steps, while Big Show was sent crashing through the announce table.

Layla def. Kelly Kelly (WATCH | PHOTOS)
A distraction from Michelle McCool provided the perfect opportunity for Layla to knock Kelly Kelly from the top rope. After crashing to the canvas, Kelly Kelly was easy pickings for Layla to get the pinfall.

Cody Rhodes def. Trent Barreta (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Still bitter about his injured face, Cody Rhodes took out his frustration on Trent Barreta. Using the very mask he has been hiding behind, Rhodes viciously head butted Barreta for a quick win.

United States Champion Sheamus def. Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston in a Non-Title Match (WATCH | PHOTOS)
United States Champion Sheamus chalked up his first victory as new champion with a vicious Brogue Kick to the head of Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston.

World Heavyweight Champion Edge def. Brodus Clay (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Young upstart Brodus Clay continues to turn heads in WWE. In a match against World Heavyweight Champion Edge, Clay had a tremendous opportunity to shine, but came up short when The Rated-R Superstar blasted him with a Spear. After post-match mayhem involving Alberto Del Rio and Christian, SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long announced the Steel Cage main event.

Cena talks about wanting to wrestle The Rock

Cena talks about wanting to wrestle The Rock
Posted by Roscoe De Soto on 03/18/2011 at 06:53 PM

John Cena recently spoke to Anthony Castellano of Newsday.com about his thoughts on Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson returning to WWE television.

Cena stated, "The fact that he tried to pick a fight with the toughest guy in the place, that's kind of his style." Cena continued, "But you know me, I don't back down from anyone. I think it's going to make some good television."

On The Rock's presence at Wrestlemania, Cena said "He's supposed to host. That's all I know. When he came back on that first night he said he was back for good. I can only hope that's the truth because I would certainly like to have many, many matches with him."

Cena also commented on his feelings about a match against The Undertaker at a future Wrestlemania. "Nooooo, he just doesn't lose. That's not a profitable night for anyone," stated Cena.

The Rock changes his tune about retirement

The Rock changes his tune about retirement
Posted by Roscoe De Soto on 03/18/2011 at 06:51 PM

Thanks to Leon Peters for the following:

I just got the new issue of WWE Magazine with The Rock on the cover. Inside is an interview with discussing his career and his return. The talk then moved to the possibility of him wrestling again.

Rock was asked about how much of his old ring outfits he still owns and he commented, "I still own it all. It's still with me in my house. It was never going away because I knew I would one day use it again."

He was then asked, "So does that mean you're coming back to fight as well?"

Rock responded,"Making movies is something that I love to do, and I know that it brings a lot of people joy, which in turn brings me and my soul great gratification. Being in the ring and entertaining the audience and kicking ass physically brings me and my soul great gratification as well. I can guarantee that I can always do both."

    Tyler Reks def. JTG
Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov def. The Usos
Eve, Natalya, Gail Kim & Tamina def. The Bellas, Melina & Alicia Fox

Eve, Natalya, Gail Kim & Tamina def. The Bellas, Melina & Alicia Fox (WATCH | PHOTOS)
It was a good night to be a fan of the Divas as eight of Raw’s sexiest women squared off in an epic tag match. Leading a contingent of Monday night’s most vicious females, Nikki & Brie Bella continued to display a mean streak that has shocked the WWE Universe. With help from Melina, the sisters focused their attack on Natalya, brutalizing the former Divas Champion to the point that she was ready to quit. But the Hart Dungeon-trained Diva persevered and made the tag to Eve who scored with a big moonsault to give her team the win.

Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov def. The Usos (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Ever since their former ally, Tamina, jumped ship to side with Santino Marella, The Usos have had it out for the Italian Superstar and his tag team partner, Vladimir Kozlov. But as much as they’d like to take out the former WWE Tag Team Champions, Jimmy & Jey have failed to stop their rivals. The tag specialists continued to struggle tonight as they lost to Santino & Kozlov yet again. Displaying the same fighting spirit that earned him the nickname The Italian Stallion, Marella battled the twins almost singlehandedly before scoring the victory with his dreaded Cobra strike.

Tyler Reks def. JTG (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Tyler Reks had a lot to prove tonight. Once the most feared competitor on “WWE Superstars,” The Dreadlocked Demolition Man recently suffered three crushing losses to the powerful Chris Masters. With his reputation as an indestructible force beginning to fade, Reks had to show the locker-room that he’s still as destructive as ever. And he did just that at the expense of JTG. Although agile and talented, the Brooklyn Superstar was outgunned tonight against his bigger, more powerful opponent. The tormented Superstar smashed JTG before putting him away with a brutal Burning Hammer.

TNA Impact Taping Results (3/17) *Spoilers*
Written by Tim Capture on Mar 14, 2011 - 8:37:10 PM

    Dark Match:

    * Douglas Williams vs. Jake Tarr. Tarr is a Team Taz graduate. Winner via Chaos Theory, Douglas Williams

TNA Impact (Airing Thursday on Spike TV):

    * Impact starts with Sting in the ring with both the new and old TNA Championship belts. Sting also has a new red shirt. He says he has something to get off his chest before Hulk Hogan's show starts. He wants Hogan and Eric Bischoff to get out here and face him. Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff come to the ring. Sting gives the Hardy belt to Hogan and says this is theirs. Hogan tosses it out of the ring. Sting asks Hogan how he could do what he did to Jeff Hardy? Take a guy who was the brightest of the bright stars and turn him into the blackest of black. Hardy is a man who makes his own decision but it was the influence of Hogan and Bischoff that led him down that path. The path of needing more money and power. He can't do anything for Hardy now but he can help the others in TNA trying to make a name for themselves. Hogan says Sting is Mr. Johnny Come Lately. Blame him and EB for the embarrassment Hardy caused Immortal? Hardy was the one who is at fault here. Hardy couldn't stand in the shadow of the immortal Hulk Hogan. Everybody else in Immortal is doing great, brother. Sting needs to look out for himself. Hogan has main eventers all around the world wanting to jump on his back and join in with the tsunami taking over wrestling. Sting says if the phone is ringing off the hook, where are the people? All he ever sees is Hogan and Bischoff with some jokes behind them.

    * Bully Ray's music hits and comes to the ring. He says he's been ringing Hogan's phone off the hook. He's been waiting for this his whole life. Hogan is the one who made this business what it is today. He says Sting is a co-star, a sidekick. Ray says Sting is selfish. This isn't about the boys in the back, this is about Sting trying to measure up to Hogan. Ray says it would be his honor to take out Sting for Immortal. He wants to prove himself and face Sting. Hogan says don't even worry about that. He gets cut off by Fortune's music. Fortune is in the ring. AJ Styles says there are four men in the ring that go by the name Fortune and they have Sting's back 100%. He asks Ray what he wanted since getting in the business? That's right, be a singles wrestler. Instead he had a partner that carried the load for 15 years. Without Devon there would be no tag titles, no success. Ray says he'd like to slap the smile off AJ's face. If it wasn't for Dixie Carter wiping his a-- he wouldn't be anywhere. Ray is a 23 time world tag champion so shut-up and let's get back to him. AJ slaps Ray in the face.

    * Mr. Anderson's music hits and gets in the ring. Anderson immediately asks for his rematch. He gets in Hogan's face and wants to know where it is. Hogan says he really is an a--hole. Anderson says yes, he is an a--hole. Hogan says he had a top contenders shot and couldn't get the job done. Anderson says Rob Van Dam couldn't get it done either. Bischoff says how about a four-way for the #1 contenders match? Mr. Anderson vs. RVD vs. Bully Ray vs. AJ Styles. Anderson says they can't do that. Bischoff says he can and he did.

    * Brooke Hogan is here. Hogan's wife is here too.

    * Ink Inc. vs. Scott Steiner & Crimson. Winner via Red Alert from Crimson to Shannon Moore, Scott Steiner & Crimson. Moore threw Steiner's headgear at him after the match and Neal had to stop a brawl from erupting.

    * Note from Richard: Up next was a segment TNA taped with D'Angelo Dinero "performing miracles."

    * For the TNA Knockouts Championship, Alissa Flash vs. Madison Rayne w/Tara. Winner via Rayne Drop in under a minute, Madison Rayne. Mickie James runs out right away but Madison and Tara bail. James is sick of Rayne's ridiculous title bouts. If she's a fighting champ then come here and fight me. Madison asks James what she thinks gives her the right to demand title shot after title shot after title shot. She's out of chances and it's not worth her while. James asks what would make it worth her while? Madison wants Mickie's locks. After beating Mickie she wants to embarrass her and shave her head. Mickie agrees.

    * Jeff and Karen Jarrett are now out. Jeff says the alpha male has something to say. Kurt Angle does not have one shred of honor or dignity left in him. As a good man he can no longer do this to Kurt. He offers up a truce to Kurt Angle. He will rise up and be the better man and put an end to the misery. They have to co-exist for the kids. Kurt, please come out and beg for forgiveness. Kurt comes out holding a big present. He walks with a smile and hands the box to Karen. Kurt says Jeff is right. He's a husband and father and they need to co-exist. Kurt brought a gift as a peace offering. Jeff asks Kurt if he's being sincere. Kurt says look at him, does he look insincere? Jeff opens the gift and it's a guitar with the American flag on it. USA chant starts. Jeff, Kurt and Karen raise their hands together to pose but Kurt grabs the guitar and smashes it on Jeff and busts him open hardway. Karen goes for a low blow but Kurt isn't affected. He goes in his pants and pulls out a cup. Jeff is bleeding profusely from the head in multiple places. Karen cowers in the corner and he tells her to "stay down." He says he's sick of this and will end her. He wants Jeff in a cage at Lockdown. Jeff shakes his head no. Kurt says if he doesn't get what he wants he will hunt them down and kill them. Angle leaves while Jeff bleeds.

    * For the TNA World Television Championship, Gunner vs. Murphy vs. Rob Terry. Winner & new Television Champion via TKO to Murphy, Gunner. Eric Bischoff was on the ramp afterwards and gave Gunner some applause and a thumbs up.

    * Hernandez & Sarita & Rosita vs. Matt Morgan & Angelina Love & Winter. Angelina had a new entrance video and music. It's a street fight but not announced as one. Winner via catatonic back breaker from Winter to Rosita, Morgan, Angelina and Winter. Really quick match. An unidentified Hispanic guy came out and helped Hernandez after the match. Morgan ran them off and then celebrated in the ring.

    * For the #1 contendership to the TNA Championship, AJ Styles vs. Rob Van Dam vs. Bully Ray vs. Mr. Anderson. No winner. A chair was in the ring and Anderson gave RVD a back suplex. Earl Hebner counted three but both of their shoulders were down because they were knocked out. Ray and AJ fought all over after the match. They went to the announcers table and ended up on the stage. AJ went to Ray with a chair but Ric Flair hit AJ with a low blow. Ray grabbed AJ and gave him a sit out powerbomb off the stage through a table. Agents and referees rushed out to check on them. Both are out of it and woozy. Paramedics are out with a stretcher and are taking AJ to the hospital. Fortune is out checking on AJ. Ray got up and pushed some security guys around and left. Ray came back out and tried to get back at AJ. Agents held him back. He went to the other side of the stage and fell. It looks like Bully Ray hurt himself and might have pulled a quad or blown his knee out. Ray is still on the ground. He might just be waiting for the stretcher to go out so he can attack. AJ just finally got taken out. Ray got helped to the back. Ray might've been hurt or went to the back to attack AJ's stretcher.

RAW Breakdown: Sheamus & Bryan, JR's Return, More
Posted by Steve Carrier on 03/17/2011 at 01:16 PM

    - As noted before, the March 14th episode of WWE RAW did a 3.66 rating with 5.68 million viewers. This week's show was seen by 69% male viewers and in the Males 18-49 demographic, it was up from last week's show with Steve Austin, with a 3.49 rating.

In the segment breakdown, The Rock's segment with the fake John Cena opened the show with a 3.80 rating. The interview with The Miz and his match with The Great Khali lost 386,000 viewers, another decline for The Miz since being pushed as WWE Champion.

The Triple H video and backstage segment with Snooki, John Morrison, Vickie Guerrero and Dolph Ziggler lost 297,000 more viewers. Sheamus winning the United States Title from Daniel Bryan gained 226,000 viewers. On the previous show with Steve Austin, Sheamus and Daniel Bryan lost big time following Austin's return segment. The gain for this week's title match shows that probably any mid-card talent would have lost big following Austin's return.

The segment with Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler, Brian Christopher, Jim Ross and Jack Swagger gained 928,000 viewers and was RAW's peak rating this week with a 4.11 rating. Randy Orton vs. Mason Ryan lost 621,000 viewers which isn't good. The Drew Carey Hall of Fame announcement, promo from Michael Cole and segment with Snooki lost 301,000 viewers. The Trish Stratus vs. Vickie Guerrero match and post-match with Snooki, Layla, Michelle McCool, John Morrison and Dolph Ziggler gained 406,000 viewers to a 3.77 rating which is an above average increase for that period in the show.

The 15 minute overrun with the main event of Alberto Del Rio vs. John Cena and the attack from The Miz lost 270,000 viewers, falling to a 3.59 rating. Considering that Cena is a solid ratings draw, this can be seen as a negative sign for The Miz and/or Del Rio. The last 5 minutes of that 15 minute overrun did come back and gain 290,000 viewers. This could be attributed to people tuning into the USA Network for their next show because RAW usually isn't on at 11:15pm.

We reported earlier this week that Eric Bischoff recently received a promotion in TNA and is now the executive producer of TNA programming. Aside from overseeing the production of TNA programming, Bischoff also serves as the point-man between TNA Wrestling and Spike TV.

In another sign that the Bischoff-Hogan regime is on solid ground in TNA, Hulk Hogan is now claiming that he took control of TNA’s creative process three weeks ago.

Hogan had an online exchange this week with former WWE superstar Kizarny, who was asking Hogan why he never got a job opportunity in TNA. Hogan responded:

"@SiNNbODHi just took over creative 3weeks ago, shoot. Now I understand why nobody is using you HH"

Jeff Hardy Court Update: Results Of Latest Hearing

Jeff Hardy Court Update: Results Of Latest Hearing
Posted by Dave Mitchell on 03/16/2011 at 12:15 PM

TNA star Jeff Hardy was scheduled to appear in a Moore County, North Carolina court on Wednesday morning, but once again, the case was continued to a later date.

This time, the reason for the continuance was that the district attorney's office is still waiting for evidence to come back from the state bureau of investigation.

Hardy is facing multiple drug charges, including felony trafficking, stemming from his September 2009 arrest.

Former Knockout files worker’s comp claim

Former Knockout files worker’s comp claim
Posted by Corbin Nordhoff on 03/15/2011 at 08:10 PM

Daffney issued a statement today on her Twitter account concerning her status with TNA Wrestling and she confirms that she has parted ways with the organization. Her contract expires today and company officials opted not to renew it. The “Scream Queen” claims she is unsure if her contract not being renewed is tied to her filing a workers’ compensation claim against the organization due to injuries she sustained working for them.

“Yesterday my picture was taken down off of the TNA roster page. My contract expires today and TNA did not renew it,” she wrote. “I do not know if it has anything to do with it, but I’ve made a Worker’s Comp claim against them due to injuries I’ve sustained in the ring and my lawyers said to not go into anymore details.”

At the April 20, 2010 Impact taping, Daffney was injured during a dark match against a novice performer, Miss Betsy (a/k/a Rosie Lottalove). She was taken to a hospital, where she was diagnosed with a deeply bruised sternum, a severe stinger and a concussion. Daffney made her return to TNA at the June 14 Xplosion taping, but would not resurface again until the December 9 episode of Impact. This marked her final appearance for TNA.

Backstage Reaction to Jeff Hardy's Situation

Backstage Reaction to Jeff Hardy's Situation
Posted by Steve Carrier on 03/14/2011 at 08:04 PM

    - As reported earlier, TNA Wrestling officials made the decision to send Jeff Hardy home from this week's iMPACT television tapings. Reports from last night's show were that Hardy was in no condition to perform and management decided to cut his match with Sting short.

Unlike the last time there was a question about Hardy's condition (prior to the Final Resolution pay-per-view in December, company officials were going to strip Hardy of the World Heavyweight Championship due to his condition backstage at the event, but then changed their minds) no one within the company has attempted to defend him. Many company employees are very upset about the situation, especially with the decision to allow Hardy to go out in front of the audience considering he stumbled on the ramp and nearly tripped over the ring steps. Others were surprised that an audible wasn't called to "make it up" to the audience.

While Hardy has been sent home from this week's iMPACT tapings, no further decision has been made regarding his future in the organization.

Hardy tweeted last night that "things are op." His next court date in Moore County, North Carolina is scheduled for Wednesday.

The Great Khali def. WWE Champion The Miz by Disqualification
Sheamus def. U.S. Champion Daniel Bryan
    Randy Orton def. Mason Ryan
Vickie Guerrero def. Trish Stratus in a No Disqualification Match
John Cena def. Alberto Del Rio by Disqualification

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Although St. Louis lies some 900 miles from Seaside Heights, with Jersey Shore’s Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi acting as celebrity guest star, there was bound to be some explosive grenades, painful fist pumps and even a couple of cheap shots.

John Cena def. Alberto Del Rio by Disqualification (WATCH | PHOTOS)
For the first time ever, John Cena, the No. 1 contender for the WWE Championship, faced off against Alberto Del Rio, the No. 1 contender for the World Heavyweight Championship. As the two men squared off, Del Rio’s former NXT Rookie, Brodus Clay watched from the Mexican elitist’s corner until the proceedings were interrupted by The Rock. Or at least what looked like The Rock. In actuality, it was WWE Champion The Miz dressed as The Brahma Bull.

The shenanigans distracted Cena, who quickly fell under the attack of Del Rio and Clay. With the Cenation Commander-in-Chief down, Miz joined in the beatdown, eventually leaving Cena a lifeless heap on the arena floor.

Vickie Guerrero def. Trish Stratus in a No Disqualification Match; Six-Person Tag Team Match announced for WrestleMania (WATCH: PART 1 | PART 2 | PHOTOS)
Vickie “Grenade” Guerrero is blowin’ up! The former SmackDown Official Consultant competed against legendary Diva Trish Stratus in a No Disqualification Match for her chance to be hired to Raw with her boyfriend Dolph Ziggler. And with some underhanded assistance from Lay-Cool, she actually pulled it off.

Guerrero celebrated as Raw’s celebrity guest star, Snooki from Jersey Shore, looked on. Before Vickie and Lay-Cool could further pummel Trish, Snooki slid into the ring and attacked Layla. That’s when John Morrison and Dolph Ziggler charged the ring. Before tempers could boil over further, Guerrero issued a challenge and the Jersey Shore star accepted. At WrestleMania, Snooki, Trish Stratus & John Morrison will take on Layla, Michelle McCool & Dolph Ziggler in a Six-Person Tag Team Match!

Drew Carey announced as a member of the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2011 (WATCH)
Drew Carey, come on down! The host of The Price is Right and entrant in 2001's Royal Rumble joins Shawn Michaels, "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan, "Bullet" Bob Armstrong and Sunny as an inductee in the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2011.

Randy Orton def. Mason Ryan (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Three up, three down. First, there was Michael McGillicutty. Next up, David Otunga. And now, a third New Nexus disciple, Mason Ryan, has taken his place at the end of The Viper’s boot. Orton managed to defeat all three men in three weeks. And in doing so, he prevented all of them from being in CM Punk’s corner during his WrestleMania bout against Orton. Not only that, after each of his three respective victories, The Viper punted each man in the skull, in direct defiance of The Second City Savior.

Michael Cole surprised Jerry “The King” Lawler with a special guest (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Have you no shame, Michael Cole? In a repulsive effort to discredit his WrestleMania opponent, Jerry “The King” Lawler, the Raw announcer brought out Lawler’s son, Brian Christopher, to confront him. A former WWE Superstar, Christopher (also known as Grandmaster Sexay) accused his father of being absent from his life growing up and proclaimed that he was the bigger Superstar of the two.

Coming to Lawler’s defense was his former announce partner, Jim Ross. As Good Ol’ J.R. ratcheted up the rhetoric, Cole's trainer, Jack Swagger, attacked. He then slapped an ankle lock on the WWE Hall of Famer before relenting and imploring Cole to slap an ankle lock on Ross himself.

Sheamus def. U.S. Champion Daniel Bryan (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Less than a week before St. Patrick’s Day and the Irishman’s luck has taken a turn. After weeks of frustrating losses, Sheamus vowed to win the U.S. Title this week or he would quit WWE. Surviving an arduous match against U.S. Champion Daniel Bryan, The Celtic Warrior prevailed to log his first win in weeks and bring the U.S. Title to Ireland.

The Great Khali def. WWE Champion The Miz by Disqualification (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Perhaps knowing that he faced too tall a task, WWE Champion The Miz seized an opportunity against The Great Khali. During their bout, Miz’s fired assistant, Alex Riley, entered the ring and attacked The Punjabi Nightmare. The distraction allowed Miz to grab a steel chair, which he used to pummel Khali. Even after it was clear that Khali was incapacitated, Miz continued his attack, demonstrating an unseen level of viciousness.

Raw GM arranged two matches (PHOTOS)
WWE Champion The Miz couldn’t help himself. The arrogant Superstar ranted and ranted about how much more “awesome” he is than John Cena, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and anyone else on the Raw roster. Fate would intervene when Raw’s anonymous General Manager arranged two first-time ever matches. The first will pit No. 1 contender for the WWE Title, John Cena, against the No. 1 contender for the World Heavyweight Title, Alberto Del Rio. The second contest forces “The Cleveland Screamer” himself to face The Great Khali.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson addressed John Cena and WWE Champion The Miz (WATCH)
After taking several shots across the bow courtesy of John Cena and WWE Champion The Miz, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson replied with a few shots of his own. The Great One belittled the two WrestleMania rivals, first cracking on Cena’s maturity and then threatening to layeth the SmackDown on Miz.

"Hurricane" Helms involved in bar incident

"Hurricane" Helms involved in bar incident
Posted by Dave Mitchell on 03/14/2011 at 04:27 PM

Former WWE star Gregory "Hurricane" Helms was reportedly arrested once again over the weekend, according to North Carolina's WTSB Radio.

Helms was involved in a bar fight on Sunday night and was charged with "simple affray" following an altercation at a bar called "The Rehab".

According to the police report, the other person in the fight reportedly touched Helms' girlfriend which led to the confrontation. Lt. Both men were released at the scene but were ordered to appear in court on April 28 to answer to the charges.

In May 2008, Helms was charged with assault following an alleged incident at another Smithfield club. Those charges were dismissed in July 2008.

Helms responded to the reports on Twitter denying that he was actually arrested: "Can't let Jeff have all the heat! LOL But I didn't get arrested at all. Got a citation for defending my woman. No regrets, no apologies."

COVERAGE FROM SUNDAY'S VICTORY ROAD PPV EVENT
TNA Victory Road PPV Results - March 13, 2011
Posted by Steve Carrier on 03/13/2011 at 11:26 PM

    - TNA's Victory Road pay-per-view kicks off with a video package showing clips of Sting's past and him appearing to retire. We see clips of Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff's war with Dixie Carter for control of TNA. More clips of Sting and what led to him winning the TNA World Title from Jeff Hardy in Fayetteville.

    - And we're live from the iMPACT Zone in Orlando, Florida as the pyro goes off. Mike Tenay welcome us to the show and hype up tonight's matches. We go to the ring for tonight's opener.

    Bully Ray vs. Tommy Dreamer

We go to the ring and out comes Brother Ray. He bullies SoCal Val out of the ring and takes the mic. Ray thanks God for men like Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff, who are taking TNA to the top, he says. Ray says they have confidence in him as one of the best. Ray calls Tommy Dreamer his light work and is interrupted by Dreamer's music. Out he comes to the ring.

Ray says he's surprised Dreamer had the balls to show up. Ray says he's tight with Hogan and Bischoff now so tonight's match is now a No DQ match, falls count anywhere. Ray calls Dreamer a fat ass and Dreamer unloads on him with right hands. They go at it and Dreamer goes for a bulldog but gets clotheslined. Dreamer tosses Ray to the floor. They go at it on the floor now. Dreamer throws someone's water at Ray. Someone tosses him a big stuffed animal and he knocks Ray down with it.

Dreamer tosses Ray over the railing and into the crowd. Dreamer beats Ray up some more and poses in the fans. They brawl on the steps before coming back to the ring. Ray takes control and drops Dreamer over the railing, landing on him. Ray uses the steel steps on Dreamer's hand now. Dreamer comes back and throws a trash can full of weapons in the ring. In the ring they come now. Dreamer throws a sawhorse into the ring and comes off the top rope with a Singapore cane shot to the head on Ray. Dreamer brings a blow-up doll in the ring. Dreamer hits Ray in the head with a lid and Ray falls on top of the blow-up doll. Dreamer puts the doll on top of Ray and splashes him for a 2 count.

Dreamer goes up top but Ray hits him with a lid. Ray superplexes Dreamer down to the mat and drops an elbow on the blow-up doll before throwing it out of the ring. Ray goes for the Bubba Bomb but Dreamer counters with a DDT and a 2 count. The crowd wants tables so Dreamer brings one into the ring. Dreamer props one leg of the table up and goes for a piledriver but Ray counters and backdrops him. Ray drops Dreamer with a trash can. More back and forth action and a 2 count for Ray. Ray hits Dreamer with the cane a few times and sets up the table. Another cane shot. Ray gets a mic and asks Dreamer how it feels as he keeps giving him cane shots. Ray starts yelling Devon's name and says this is for him. Ray goes for a powerbomb but the 3D music hits and out comes Devon's sons, one in a neckbrace. Devon sneaks in the ring from behind. Ray turns around and gets hit by a 3D from Dreamer and Devon. Dreamer covers Ray for the pin and the win.

    Winner: Tommy Dreamer

    - After the match, Dreamer celebrates in the ring with Devon and his sons.

    - We go backstage with Christy Hemme, Angelina Love, Velvet Sky and Winter. Winter says her actions proved on Thursday that she has always wanted them to be friends. Winter says she has no issue with Velvet but Velvet has issues with her. Winter is glad Angelina has finally realized this. Velvet asks Angelina if this true. Angelina walks off with Winter, leaving Velvet pissed.

TNA Knockouts Tag Team Title Match: Rosita and Sarita vs. Angelina Love and Winter

We go to the ring and out comes the challengers, the team of Rosita and Sarita. Sarita takes the mic and says she and her cousin are walking out as champions tonight. Sarita says she don't know about the problems the champs have but she knows they are not focused. Sarita speaks in Spanish and the crowd starts giving her crap. She gets pissed and says starting tonight with these titles, Mexico is taking back what's rightfully theirs. Out next comes the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions Winter and Angelina Love.

Angelina and Rosita start the match off and trade headlocks. Angelina with 3 forearm shots. She misses a clothesline and Rosita takes her down. Angelina comes back with a snap suplex. Sarita is tagged in but Angelina drops her and tags in Winter. Winter with a back elbow and a backbreaker for a 2 count. They go back and forth. Winter with a Northern Lights suplex for another 2 count. Rosita interferes. Angelina is tagged in and continues the assault on Sarita. Sarita counters with a clothesline and tags Rosita back in for a bit of double teaming that fails as Rosita falls on her face. Angelina scoops Rosita up and slams her for a 2 count.

Winter comes in and misses a big boot. Rosita sweeps her and tags in Sarita. They try to double team again but it backfires on them and Winter takes back control. Angelina comes in and works on Sarita's arm. Angelina is thrown into the ropes and Rosita hits her in the back of the head. Rosita comes in but Angelina drops her on her back for a 2 count. Winter is tagged back in and they double team Rosita for a 2 count. The referee is distracted, allowing Sarita to grab one of the title belts and run in the ring. Earl Hebner sees her and stops her.
