Reunited for the first time in more than a decade, Edge and Christian used their veteran skills to achieve victory. After Captain Charisma stunned Clay with a Tornado DDT, The Ultimate Opportunist followed up with a hard-hitting flying elbow.

Michael Cole interviewed John Cena (WATCH | PHOTOS) John Cena came to SmackDown to boldly proclaim that WWE Champion The Miz made the biggest mistake of his career when he blindsided Cena and hit him with the People's Elbow on Raw (WATCH). When Michael Cole antagonized Cena about the night, all hell broke lose. In the end, Cole’s WrestleMania trainer, Jack Swagger, was met with the full force of an Attitude Adjustment.
Cody Rhodes def. JTG (WATCH | PHOTOS) Bitter and self-conscious about his injured face, Cody Rhodes unloaded on JTG, finishing him off quickly with a brutal Cross Rhodes.
Big Show & Kane def. Wade Barrett & Heath Slater by Disqualification (WATCH | PHOTOS) Despite being banned from ringside by Teddy Long, Justin Gabriel and Ezekiel Jackson couldn’t hold back from joining the fray, launching a brutal four-on-one assault against Kane. After watching the assault from outside the ropes, Big Show eventually got back in the ring to help out his partner. The World’s Largest Athlete first blasted Jackson with a steel chair across the back. Then, as Barrett brandished the chair, Show drove the cold steel back into his face with a massive right punch. As The Corre scattered, Show slammed Kane across the back with the steel chair – perhaps payback for Kane’s chair shot in their one-on-one match last week.
Kane def. Undertaker's Health Posted by Steve Carrier on 03/11/2011 at 08:06 PM
- The Undertaker is still rehabilitating his torn rotator cuff after it was surgically repaired late last year. He's been working aggressively to rehab the injury in hopes that he won't be severely limited for his match against Triple H at WrestleMania XXVII. The damage from his latest injury was bad enough that it is expected to confine his mobility in the long-term.
While there has been much speculation that his in-ring career is coming to an end, multiple WWE sources believe that he could at least appear at WrestleMania events for years to come as long as he keeps himself in shape, is able to perform his signature maneuvers, and can work around his physical limitations.
As noted earlier here on the website, TNA iMPACT! earned a 1.3 cable rating – a .94 (0.9) M18-49, a .76 (0. in M18-34, and an average audience of 1.7 million viewers (1,738,000). This is slightly down from last week's 1.36 (1.4) cable rating, with 1.8 million viewers. Competitive Ranking -Among Basic Cable Networks between 9p-11p, TNA ranked #3 among M18-49, behind TNT (NBA) and MTV (Jersey Shore().

Mark Henry, The Great Khali & Natalya def. Tyson Kidd, William Regal & Melina (WATCH | PHOTOS) Tonight was a bad night to be Tyson Kidd. The former WWE Tag Team Champion joined forces with the rogues gallery of William Regal & Melina to battle the imposing trio of Mark Henry, The Great Khali & Natalya. But the cocky upstart quickly lost the bout for his team when he fell victim to Khali’s destructive Punjabi Plunge. Kidd’s rough night didn’t end there though. The Canadian Superstar was then splashed by Henry, given the Sharpshooter by Natalya, put in William Regal’s Regal Stretch and slapped by Melina. Clearly, Kidd needs a new attitude.
Zack Ryder def. Vladimir Kozlov (WATCH | PHOTOS) Vladimir Kozlov may have had Santino Marella and Tamina watching his back tonight, but it still wasn’t enough to stop the underhanded tactics of the sleazy Zack Ryder. After getting torn to shreds by the aggressive Moscow Mauler, The Long Island Iced-Z was almost out for the count before his buddy, Primo, interfered. With Kozlov distracted, Ryder was able to capitalize with the Rough Ryder for a sneaky win — but a win nonetheless.
Chris Masters def. Tyler Reks (WATCH | PHOTOS) The 100th episode of “WWE Superstars” started off with a bang as rivals Chris Masters and Tyler Reks clashed for the third time in recent weeks. Although Reks has been a dominant force in WWE, he fell to The Masterpiece in their last two bouts. Tonight was no different as the powerful Masters managed to apply the devastating Master Lock to Reks for another big submission victory.
-- RAW superstar John Morrison and WWE diva Melina had a little too much fun celebrating Melina's birthday on Wednesday night in Los Angeles - and got "banned for life" from a popular nightclub in the process. Morrison wrote on Twitter @TheRealMorrison:
"... Security doesn't like confrontation... @realmelina and I are banned for life from Skybar... And... I DON'T CARE"
"Skybar! Why would you have a pool if you didn't want us to jump in? It's Melina's birthday! ... C'maaaaan!!!"
"Haha! They called the cops but we took the got the Brain Surge limo outta there!"

TNA Impact Results - 3/10/2011 From Crown Coliseum in Fayetteville, North Carolina Report by: Alex Barie of WrestlingNewsWorld.com
The show starts off with a video package from last week. It shows that Hulk Hogan becoming the owner of TNA. It then switches to footage to Jeff Jarrett's wedding and how Kurt Angle crashes it. Finally, it shows that the network set up a match for Jeff Hardy for the TNA World Title. It's Sting and he wins the title!
The screen fades to black with the white words The Return of the Icon
Sting's music hits and he comes on out with the TNA World Title. He gets in the ring and begins to talk. He states that he has done so much, but he couldn't have done it on his own. He revisits his past as the fans supported him the entire time. He says "thank you" to all of the fans. He is also thankful for his opponent last week, Jeff Hardy. Sting states that Jeff is one of the greatest wrestlers he has ever fought in the ring. He tells Jeff that when he gets his head attached again, as it's been who knows where, he would give back to these fans. Immortal's music hits and here they come!
Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan come out on the stage and they clap. Hogan begins to talk as both get in the ring. He says he is glad to see Sting again. Hogan said that somehow they were going to end up in the same ring again. Hogan then states that Sting knew who "they" was all along, but no one listened to him, so he took his ball and went home. Hogan says the fans don't need another hero as they already got one and that is Hulk Hogan! Sting said he did quit, he did went home, but he didn't quit on the fans. He didn't want to work for Hogan and Bischoff. He stated home, and a fire grew inside of him. It's the fire that was from facing Hogan for the first time. It's the fire when he faced Ric Flair. He says he isn't going anywhere. He then holds up the TNA World Title, but Anderson's music blares in the arena.
Mr. Anderson gets in the ring and he talks himself. He says he wants his rematch.....reamatch, rematch, rematch, rematch! He wants his shot! He doesn't care what Hogan wants, "brother", or doesn't care what Eric wants, "sister", but they should care what Anderson wants. Sting then turns his attention to Sting and says that they never formally met. He plants his feet and says that he is......MR. ANDERSON.......ANDERSON! He then tells him he is an @sshole! Now Jeff Hardy's music plays and he comes to the ring.
Jeff gets in the ring and tells this crowd to "kiss his @ss". He says that he was robbed last week because he didn't have time to prepare for his match. He tells Anderson that he has to wait behind him. He doesn't get much air time as RVD now comes out and applies himself in the mix.
He's in the ring and he can't believe this. He says he was stripped from the title months ago from one of his great friends. He said he would have had his title, but his match couple weeks ago was from an @sshole type referee. He then asks Sting where did he come from all of a sudden. Hogan steps in and says he is the one who runs this business. He announes that Victory Road will have Jeff Hardy vs. Sting for the TNA World Title. Eric says he has an idea. He makes RVD and Sting vs. Mr. Anderson and Jeff Hardy.
Angelina Love and Velvet Sky are backstage and Angelina from Jersey Shore and Cookie come backstage and talk trash to Love and Sky. Winter then comes on the set and tells the Jersey Shore peeps off for Angelina Love. They leave. Sky then tells Love that she better watch her girlfriend.

AJ Styles on Working with Flair, Fortune's Split Posted by Steve Carrier on 03/11/2011 at 01:18 PM
- Alex Marvez of Scripps News recently spoke to TNA's AJ Styles. Here are some highlights:
Fortune splitting from Immortal: "I knew we eventually would have to go there anyway. Fans wanted to see Fortune turn on Immortal. They never wanted to see Fortune be a part of Immortal in the first place. When we teased going against them, it created a big rumble. I think it's a blessing in disguise that those guys took jobs with WWE. We're moving forward here with something I hoped that would be done."
Being put with Ric Flair last year: "It didn't fit my personality at all. Ric casts a big shadow. I think I've learned more about how to get out of that shadow when I was up against him rather than with him. When you're with Ric, he's going to get your attention. I definitely learned some stuff like the way to cut an (interview) and stuff like that. I respect him. Even though he's 62, he's still one of the most entertaining guys in pro wrestling."
When asked if "the torch" has been passed with the Fortune push: "I don't know. The whole thing with Sting and I, the torch was supposedly passed, but here he is back again (as TNA world champion). I don't know if there is a torch to be passed anymore because so many people change their mind about whether they're staying or going or retiring. The biggest thing is, I want to be part of something that everybody knows about whether it's Fortune or TNA, something that's as big as WWE. I'm not saying I want to go to WWE or anything like that. I want TNA to explode."
Kurt Angle Talks About Not Returning to WWE Posted by Steve Carrier on 03/10/2011 at 05:03 PM
In an interview with the UK Sun, Kurt Angle says he will never be back in WWE and plans to stay with TNA until he retires. Here are some highlights of what Angle said about:
His Future In Pro Wrestling: "My contract comes up in August/September. I'm going to re-evaluate. But I am NOT going anywhere else. I will stay in TNA, I just need to see how much I'm going to be wresting for them, whether part time or whatever amount of time, but I'm very happy in TNA. A lot of my fans have been asking 'When are you going back to WWE?' but I will retire here."
He added, "I'm very excited about the product, the company keeps growing and I like to think I've been a small part of it. I'm going to stick around and hopefully I'll do something part time when my contract is up. I think Dixie Carter and myself need to sit down and work it out. I'm not against even working every PPV. I just know that I can't continuously go on the road and wrestle hundreds of days a year. I'm not able to any more. Not if I'm to be able to perform the way they want me to."
The Rock Back In WWE: "I think it's great. I honestly believe that Rock misses wrestling. He loves the fans. He comes back partially to promote his movies, but the other part is his passion for the fans. He loves being out there and doing things live."
"He actually performs better when he is out in front of a crowd live. That's The Rock. I heard he cut a promo on Cena and I texted him saying I heard about it, and heard it was great. He's always been the best promo guy I've ever known."
Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) (Spanish for Worldwide Wrestling Council) is a Lucha Libre-style professional wrestling promotion based in Mexico City while running cards in Guadalajara, Puebla and elsewhere in central and southern Mexico. The promotion is also referred to by its previous name Empresa Mexicana de la Lucha Libre (EMLL) (Mexican Wrestling Enterprise). It is currently the world's oldest pro wrestling promotion still in existence.
Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA) (Spanish for "Assistance, Consulting, and Administration") is a lucha libre professional-wrestling promotion based in Mexico. Founded in 1992 when Antonio Peña broke away from Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) to set up a promotion which allowed him more creative freedom, the AAA has held a number of Pay-Per-Views (PPV) over the years and has promoted shows not just in Mexico but in the United States of America and in Japan as well. The promotion utilizes a hexagonal wrestling ring (as opposed to the more conventional four-sided ring) and has a reputation for its outlandish gimmicks and characters as well as having developed a more Extreme match style over the last couple of years. Over the years AAA has worked together with several North American promotions such as the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE) and currently has a working relationship with Japan-based Pro Wrestling Noah and the US-based Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) and Ring of Honor.
- WWE has apparently signed women's wrestler Laura Dennis to a developmental deal. The twenty-five year old goes by the name Cherry Bomb and has competed in Japan and across the US. She is from Toronto and recently started at FCW.

- As noted before, there will be no immunity points on this season of WWE NXT: Redemption. However, the Rookies will compete for "redemption points" that can be used in a similar fashion. Darren Young left last night's premiere with three points.
The winner of this season will earn a spot on NXT season 6 and not a title shot like previous winners.
- Here's The Rock's latest message to his fans from Facebook: "To THE MILLIONS.. What I'm proud of most is how you intensely and passionately defend who WE are: THE MILLIONS and their People's Champion. What will always define us is our passion and HEART. You, THE MILLIONS are the BEST. All love and thank you..."

What Happened After RAW Went Off The Air Posted by Dave Mitchell on 03/08/2011 at 02:46 AM
Credit to reader Joshua Rollins for this live report after Monday's RAW went off the air:
After Raw went off the air, Michael Cole came out in a referee shirt while The Miz was on the ramp and John Cena was in the ring. He said he was going to referee the main event, and if Cena and Orton don't follow his rules, the Raw GM has given him the right to suspend both men through WrestleMania.
For the bonus main event of Miz & C.M. Punk vs. Orton & Cena, Punk came out first. Then, Miz came back out. Then, Orton came out and Punk put on Cena's "Via Satellite" t-shirt and Cena's hat.
Bonus Dark Match: John Cena & Randy Orton beat WWE champion The Miz & C.M. Punk with Michael Cole as special referee. Punk had funny body language the entire match. About five minutes into the match, all of the Superstars were on the mat. King then came into the ring and ripped the ref shirt off Cole, who ran to the back. King then put on the shirt. By this time, all four men were up. Cena hit an Attitude Adjustment on Miz at the same time Orton dropped Punk with the RKO. Double three count. Cena and Orton won.

DALLAS - Steer horns, boot spurs and cactus needles. When it comes to sharp objects, the Lone Star State enjoys its fair share. When Raw mosied into town, though, the Superstars brought their own piercing particulars, including barbed words, pointed challenges and one sharp elbow.
WWE Champion The Miz attacked John Cena (WATCH: PART 1 | PART 2 | PHOTOS) In case anyone forgot who the WWE Champion is, The Miz was happy to refresh their memory. Though supposedly boycotting Raw (as cited on his Twitter account), The Cleveland Screamer surfaced from under the ring as John Cena addressed disparaging comments made by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson a week earlier. The WWE Champion then attacked the Cenation Commander-in-Chief. As Miz lectured the WWE Universe and The Rock, his WrestleMania opponent lie writhing on the canvas. Just as it appeared the WWE Champion had wrapped up his tirade, he turned back to a dazed Cena and crushed him with a People's Elbow before bidding a fed-up farewell.
Dolph Ziggler def. John Morrison; Trish Stratus vs. Vickie Guerrero announced for next week (WATCH | PHOTOS) After his termination from SmackDown, Dolph Ziggler appeared eager to prove himself to his new Raw roster mates. Consider it done. The showy Superstar tackled the hefty test of John Morrison and proved he belongs by beating The Shaman of Sexy.
After the bout, his special lady friend, Vickie Guerrero, received a rude awakening when it was revealed that only Ziggler was hired on by the Raw GM, not Vickie. She could join the red brand, however, under one condition: The shrill cougar must defeat former Women’s Champion Trish Stratus next week to secure a spot.
CM Punk def. R-Truth (WATCH | PHOTOS) Ouch. As if being trounced by CM Punk wasn’t agonizing enough, the New Nexus leader’s disciple, Mason Ryan, muscled in on the action. The overwhelming underling proved his fealty by pummeling Truth with a painful powerhouse move.
U.S. Champion Daniel Bryan def. Sheamus by Count-out (WATCH | PHOTOS) What’s red and white and angry all over? Yep, it’s Sheamus. The Irishman’s losing streak continued as he dropped a non-title match to U.S. Champion Daniel Bryan by count-out after seemingly injuring his ankle. In the wake of the bout, a frustrated Sheamus challenged Bryan to a U.S. Title Match next week, vowing that were he to lose, he will quit WWE!
“Stone Cold” Steve Austin signed contract to be special guest referee in Michael Cole vs. Jerry “The King” Lawler WrestleMania match (WATCH | PHOTOS) Last week, Michael Cole announced that his trainer for his WrestleMania match against Jerry “The King” Lawler will be Jack Swagger. This week, the other boot dropped. Cole revealed his choice as special guest referee: JBL! Only one problem.
Before The Lonestar Loudmouth could sign the contract, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin confronted the two. After stunning JBL, The Texas Rattlesnake signed on the dotted line to become the match’s special guest referee and chased off Cole.
“Snooki” from Jersey Shore will be guest star on Raw next week Brace yourself, WWE Universe, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is coming to Raw! The star of cable’s highest rated show, Jersey Shore, will drop by Monday night when Raw rolls into St. Louis. What will the fun-loving, outspoken celebrity have to say? Tune in to find out!
Divas Champion Eve def. Nikki Bella (WATCH | PHOTOS) Oh, those crafty Bellas. Last week, the ladies hoodwinked the referee with Twin Magic, allowing Nikki to become the No. 1 contender for the Divas Title. The deception allowed Nikki a title opportunity against Divas Champion Eve. Unfortunately for her, though, she and sister Brie went to the well once too often. As the deceitful duo attempted Twin Magic again during Nikki’s title bout, they were found out. The revelation cost them and also helped Eve to retain.
Sunny announced as the next inductee in the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2011 With Women’s History Month upon us, it seemed only fitting that first-ever “Diva,” Sunny, was announced as the next inductee in the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2011. The gorgeous groundbreaker will join Shawn Michaels, “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan and “Bullet” Bob Armstrong during the Hall of Fame ceremony in Atlanta on April 2.
Christian def. Brodus Clay (WATCH | PHOTOS) Rather than compete against Christian, Alberto Del Rio instead recruited his WWE NXT Rookie, Brodus Clay, for the task. Although Clay proved he is indeed a behemoth, Captain Charisma’s experience appeared too much to tackle. After Christian won, however, The Mexican elitist waylaid him in typically underhanded fashion.
Randy Orton def. David Otunga (WATCH: PART 1 | PART 2 | PHOTOS) Another week, another casualty. Despite suffering an ambush from The New Nexus, Randy Orton competed in a match against New Nexus disciple David Otunga. As stipulated by the Raw GM a week ago, should Otunga win he could be in CM Punk’s corner during his bout with The Viper at WrestleMania. Were he to lose, however, he would be banned.
As the match wore on, Orton exhibited stamina and determination enough to eventually overcome his sizable foe. Afterward, WWE’s Apex Predator lined up to punt Otunga in the skull. Before he could, Mason Ryan burst onto the scene, only to find himself RKO’d. The chaos prompted Punk himself to join the fray and plead with Orton not to follow through with his patented punt. Rather than abide, however, Orton reared back and fated Otunga to the same fate as fellow Nexi Michael McGillicutty and Husky Harris before him.
The Undertaker proposed his WrestleMania Match with Triple H be No Holds Barred (WATCH | PHOTOS) The Deadman just raised the stakes. Emerging on Raw, The Undertaker informed Triple H that not only did he end the storied career of Shawn Michaels, he’s more than willing to log a repeat performance in order to maintain his undefeated streak at WrestleMania. In a bold move, even for him, The Phenom proposed that he and Triple H wage their war at WrestleMania in a No Holds Barred Match.
Footage had been posted online of former WWE superstar Shad Gaspard’s weekend arrest for jaywalking, courtesy of TMZ.com.
Shad tells TMZ he feels he’s the victim of racial profiling and can be heard saying in the video, “Why am I being arrested? Because I’m big and I’m black?”
At least 3 witnesses have stated that Shad was treated unfairly and the police officers used unnecessary force.
Shad claims during his ride to the police station, he heard the arresting officer saying, “He’s just one more …”
He added, “I don’t know exactly what to do yet, but I will fight this as much as possible. I’m not doing it for the money, I have the means, I’m doing this so cops don’t think they can do this to someone else … it’s not right.”
- Former WWE talent Sean "X-Pac" Waltman was taken to the emergency room tonight at Jamaica Hospital in Queens, New York Saturday after landing his chest on a guard rail during a Pro Wrestling Syndicate event in Lake Ronkonkoma.
As Waltman was going through security at a nearby airport following the show, the wound, which had been glued shut, opened and blood started gushing out. An ambulance was called and he was rushed to the hospital. Waltman has since been released and was expected to fly home Sunday.
