Interview highlights courtesy of The Mayhem's official correspondent, Paterson From New Jersey:
How much of his second stint with World Wrestling Entertainment was a "life experience" after the first time being there: "It was definitely a life experience. It was just an ongoing nightmare for me. They promise they're gonna do this with you, and they don't do it. They tell me they are gonna bring me in to feud with Shelton (Benjamin), and they don't do it. As out lives went on we had our first child & then our second child, you wanna quit, but you have to support your family. Then you'll like 'Alright if I gonna eat crap to help support my family and give my wife & kids a better life, better than I ever had, then that's what I'll do.' But eventually, you could only handle so much before you gotta walk away because you bring that misery home, and it's unhealthy. It's a unhealthy work environment, but then when you bring it home, you make it a unhealthy home environment for your family, and you can't do that. It just really feels good to be away from that. No one understands unless you've been there."
Becoming a great fit within the confines of Ring Of Honor: "I agree with you 100%. I've been watching the product, I know Jim Cornette personally, and I just love what they're doing down there. I've worked with Cornette; I like the formulation of what he's done in the past in OVW and what he's doing now. I think I'll be a great fit. Those kids could go, and they wrestle. These men wrestle, and that's what it's about. I have so much left in my tank. My body's healthy. I'm determined. I'm not gonna sit back and be upset & retire, I wanna go out and prove myself. I wanna prove myself to all the skeptics & all the creative that they didn't know what they had."
What is more appealing to Charlie when he makes his return to the ring on television: TNA or Ring Of Honor: "I will end up at one or the other I promise you that. I just wanna go out & wrestle. I wanna be given the opportunity I never had, and that's it. I wanna have fun: that passion is back, and I feel like a weight has been lifted off my chest. The odds are good I will end up somewhere, and the whole new destiny for Charlie Haas will definitely take a turn, and it'll be a turn for the best. Not just for the fans, but for me & my family as well."
Some of the superstars/performers that Charlie would want to face in TNA that he never had the opportunity to face in his career: "There's another Elijah Burke ('The Pope' D'Angelo Dinero), never did anything with him. Look what's happened. It's the same thing; the WWE didn't see anything in him or he's not entertaining enough. It's their loss, and that's just one of them. Shannon Moore was another one who was never given the opportunity. Jeff Hardy is the most popular wrestler there is in the world today. Kurt (Angle) is one of my best friends, we talk all the time, and I would love to run with him or Jeff or any of those wrestlers: AJ (Styles), Samoa Joe."
Charlie's thoughts on the passing of his close friend & business partner Eddie "Umaga" Fatu several few months ago: "He was my best friend and was my best friend since we started in the developmental territories together. He was with me when we found my brother dead. He was my best friend & my business partner, and his family is my family. It's just heartbreaking just to watch him and watch what happened, and to have to bury another one of your friends just really sucks."
Why Shelton Benjamin, like himself, has not been used to the best of his ability during his time in the WWE: "It's either someone doesn't like him in creative or he's just too good of a wrestler, or he just makes things look too good & too easy, or it's just very political. Someone at the time doesn't want him to succeed. They have who they want to push, and he's just not one of them. And it's unfortunate, because he is probably the most God-gifted athlete in sports (pro wrestling & the WWE), but they don't want to utilize that, so it's their loss. That's why I'm begging him not to sign back. He'll probably stay for the money, but he could utilized a lot better elsewhere I'll tell you that."
More is contained in Charlie's interview with the Monday Night Mayhem Radio Network, including his candid thoughts & comments on the real story behind his impersonations of past & present WWE Superstars, Legends, & Divas (including whose idea it was for the gimmick & which member of the WWE Creative Team that Charlie confided in the most during his return to the company), why the WWE almost pulled Shelton Benjamin from the forthcoming Money In The Bank Match at WrestleMania XXVI, & so much more! Dolph Ziggler def. Shelton Benjamin Goldust def. Mike Knox Zack Ryder def. Santino Marella Christian & MVP def. Carlito & Chavo Guerrero
At WrestleMania XXVI, eight ambitious ring warriors will put their bodies on the line as they fight for a World Title opportunity in the annual Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Nearly half of these athletes appeared on “WWE Superstars” this week, successfully gaining momentum before competing on The Grandest Stage of Them All.

Christian & MVP def. Carlito & Chavo Guerrero (PHOTOS | WATCH) Though they’ll be opponents at WrestleMania, Raw Superstars Christian and MVP joined forces to take on Carlito & Chavo Guerrero. As NXT Rookies Heath Slater and Michael Tarver watched their WWE Pros (Christian and Carlito, respectively) these four in-ring veterans pushed their opponents to the limit in a fast-paced tag team match. Ultimately however, it was Captain Charisma who capitalized on Guerrero’s missed Frog Splash, hitting the self-proclaimed “Mexican Warrior” with the Killswitch to pick up the win for his team.
Zack Ryder def. Santino Marella (PHOTOS | WATCH) Since joining the Raw roster, Zack Ryder has been eager to make an impact alongside his lady, the lovely Rosa Mendes. On “WWE Superstars,” Ryder faced off against Santino Marella, a ring warrior every bit as talkative as The Long Island Loudmouth. However, Ryder showed that he has the talent to back up his arrogant ways by hitting Marella with the Rough Ryder and the Zack Attack in succession. After pinning the Italian Superstar Ryder celebrated in the ring with Rosa.
Goldust def. Mike Knox (PHOTOS | WATCH) The previous week on “WWE Superstars” saw Goldust hold his own in a match against World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho, though he ultimately fell victim to the Walls of Jericho. This week The Bizarre One hoped to make up for his prior loss in a match against Mike Knox. Despite his opponent’s distinct size and strength advantage, Goldust persevered and defeated one of SmackDown’s most intimidating competitors.
Dolph Ziggler def. Shelton Benjamin (PHOTOS | WATCH) “WWE Superstars” opened with a match pitting Shelton Benjamin against his fellow Money in the Bank Ladder Match competitor, Dolph Ziggler. The brash young Superstar was out to send a message to The Gold Standard, locking in his ferocious sleeper hold, a move so devastating that Ziggler has used it to defeat Kane. Like The Big Red Monster, Benjamin was also unable to escape Ziggler’s incapacitating grip, giving his opponent the win and momentum building up to their match at WrestleMania.

WWE wants to work with Goldberg again? Posted by Chris Kaufman on 03/11/2010 at 12:06 PM
WWE showed a Wrestlemania recall on RAW this week of Bill Goldberg pinning Brock Lesnar in 2004 as a way to plug Steve Austin’s guest host gig but the company has actually been talking about Goldberg and trying to get some kind of relationship going with him.
They realize he won’t come back and wrestle but they’re thinking of some kind of Legends deal to use his likeness in video games and such. Goldberg could also be possible for next year’s Hall of Fame in Atlanta since they’re running low on “main eventers” to induct.
NXT rating drops down to ECW levels Posted by Chris Kaufman on 03/10/2010 at 08:47 PM
Any ratings advantage the new WWE NXT series had over the weekly ECW telecast is gone. Viewership for Tuesday's episode dropped significantly from last week.
After holding steady from week one to week two, NXT eroded viewers for its third airing, falling to a viewership average of just 1.298 million, according to Mediaweek. That amounts to a viewership decline of 25% from last week's 1.73 million total.
Among adults 18-49, the drop was even more staggering. The show fell from a 0.6 to a 0.4, a decrease of 33%.
PWInsider.com is reporting the cable broadcast rating at a 1.0, down from the 1.24 for week two.
Essentially, that means NXT is now right where ECW was when WWE and SyFy decided an overhaul was needed.
Ex-WWE star to make a comeback in TNA? Posted by Mark Virginia on 03/11/2010 at 12:02 PM
Former WWE star Shawn Stasiak, 39, claimed recently on Right After Wrestling that he would likely be joining TNA soon. For what it's worth, people in TNA who would know whether he's joining or not say his name hasn't even been mentioned.
The second generation wrestler has been looking to get back into wrestling lately and has been working as a chiropractor since retiring from the industry several years ago.
Maria talks about her future - joining TNA? Posted by Chris Kaufman on 03/09/2010 at 08:55 PM
Former WWE Diva Maria Kanellis was interviewed by Eric Cohen of About.com this week to promote her role on the upcoming "Celebrity Apprentice" NBC show and reveals that Donald Trump himself invited her to participate. "I actually met Donald Trump when he came to the show to do some work with Vince McMahon. He asked me if I wanted to do it and I said that I would love to and it all started from there."
Maria was also asked whether she'd be open to joining TNA, or if she's fully moved on from the wrestling business. "I'm not sure yet to be honest," she said. "I probably had seven different phone calls from companies across the country asking me to come here or go there. I haven't decided. It's such an exciting adventure to be on. It's like I've been born again or something. I'm really trying to figure out what's best for me, what's best for my future, and then go from there."
Maria opens website and comments on WWE release Posted by Chris Kaufman on 03/08/2010 at 03:58 PM
Former WWE Diva Maria Kanellis has opened up a new website, which you can check out at http://www.mariakanellis.net/ She also commented on her WWE release, here is what she had to say:
"Am I mad at WWE? No, I am not. I get it. I understand. They gave me my start and I am thankful. I will however miss the Divas. They will forever be a part of my story. Mickie giving wrestling her heart, soul and a real teacher in the ring. Michelle with her dedication to the divas division is making it grow. Nattie with all the history and excitement. Layla giving it fire, humor, and is a great friend. Kelly the girl that is the beauty that has that same desire as me to prove herself in the ring. Eve is a fighter and can choke you out! (Eve I can't wait to come train with you now that I have some time on my hands.) Beth, the foundation, sweet, strong, and a great listener. These girls and all the Divas are my inspiration. I admire them. I will keep watching you succeed. Thank you Ladies. Will I be back? I don't know. Life throws so much at you. Maybe this chapter is over and maybe we will revisit it later. Only the universe knows. Celebrity Apprentice! Hmmmmm… You will have to wait and see how I did. But, I can say that WWE helped me meet Mr. Trump. Make a Wish Foundation was the charity I worked for. I love that Foundation. Giving wishes to kids! Wow! So important. The Make a Wish kids are the best motivation I could ever have to work my butt off on Celebrity Apprentice."

R-Truth & David Otunga def. The Miz & Daniel Bryan Heath Slater def. Carlito Justin Gabriel def. Wade Barrett
SEATTLE – In just the third week of competition on WWE NXT, several Rookies earned monumental victories. Despite some occasional clashes with their Pros, each proved why he could be the next Superstar to join the Raw roster.
Justin Gabriel def. Wade Barrett (PHOTOS | WATCH) Justin Gabriel wowed the WWE Universe for the second week in a row, earning an impressive victory over fellow Rookie, Wade Barrett, on WWE NXT. Under the guidance of his Pro, Matt Hardy, Gabriel capitalized on his tag team win over Skip Sheffield last week and continued his forward momentum, pinning Barrett after hitting the 450 Splash. (WATCH: Hardy preps Gabriel for his match) Gabriel ups his perfect record to 2-0, surely making the NXT Pros take notice. But after the victory, Barrett’s Pro, World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho, entered the ring and hit Gabriel with a Codebreaker and locked him into the Walls of Jericho, preying on the Rookie’s back, which Barrett targeted throughout their match. (WATCH: Meet Rookie Justin Gabriel)
Heath Slater def. Carlito (PHOTOS | WATCH) Heath Slater sent an important message to Carlito Tuesday night, a week after the Superstar spit apple in the Rookie’s face on WWE NXT: He is not backing down. With his Pro, Christian, at ringside, Slater defeated Carlito just minutes after the apple-spitting Pro said he should be happy he humiliated him like that and should be begging him to do it again. Carlito’s Rookie, Michael Tarver, could only watch in shock as Carlito was rolled up by the “one-man rock band” Slater. With this victory, Slater earns the impressive distinction of becoming the first Rookie to defeat a Pro in singles action on WWE NXT.
R-Truth & David Otunga def. The Miz & Daniel Bryan (PHOTOS | WATCH) After an explosive, post-match brawl on last week’s WWE NXT, R-Truth & his Rookie, David Otunga, put their differences aside to earn a tag team win over The Miz & Daniel Bryan, another Pro & Rookie duo who aren’t exactly the best of friends either. The Miz threatened Bryan with his career before the match, saying he’ll be sure he’s thrown off the show if he’s pinned. But it was the United States and Unified Tag Team Champion The Miz who was pinned by Otunga, who upped his record to 2-1.
With his team’s loss, Bryan has yet to win a match on WWE NXT, but this home state defeat is one Washington native Bryan solely blames on his Pro. During the match, The Miz began to fight with Bryan, distracting the referee, allowing R-Truth to capitalize with a kick to The Miz, allowing Otunga to pin him for the win. (WATCH: Bryan confronts The Miz post-loss) Plus, The Miz may not have been on his A-game after the previous night’s Raw when R-Truth and his WrestleMania tag team partner, John Morrison, intentionally disqualified themselves in their match against Show-Miz after sending the “Cleveland Screamer” over the top rope and punishing The World’s Largest Athlete.
CM Punk encourages Darren Young (WATCH) On Tuesday’s WWE NXT, CM Punk and his Straight Edge Society associates persuaded Rookie Darren Young to become a part of their group. The Pro pointed out that Young’s win last week came with the Society’s support, and that he should be more open to new ideas, because with a little help and guidance, Straight Edge can make anyone a winner. (WATCH: Meet Rookie Darren Young)
Eve, Kelly Kelly & Gail Kim def. Divas Champion Maryse, Alicia Fox & Katie Lea
Unified Tag Team Champions Big Show & The Miz vs. John Morrison & R-Truth ended in a No Contest
Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase def. Randy Orton in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match
Evan Bourne def. William Regal in a Money in the Bank Qualifying Match
Mr. McMahon def. John Cena in a No Disqualification Handicap Gauntlet Match
PORTLAND, Ore. – Master illusionist Criss Angel may have acted as special guest host of Monday Night Raw, but it was Mr. McMahon who employed trickery and a host of hired hands to punish John Cena on The Road to WrestleMania.
Mr. McMahon def. John Cena in a No Disqualification Handicap Gauntlet Match It took deception, dishonesty and, oh, about five or so Superstars, but Mr. McMahon finally managed to beat John Cena. The Chairman, hoping to prove a point to his WrestleMania rival Bret Hart, had arranged a match between himself and Cena. Perhaps realizing the odds stacked against him, Mr. McMahon changed the rules of engagement, setting up a Gauntlet-Style bout.
Cena’s first hurdle was Vladimir Kozlov followed by Intercontinental Champion Drew McIntyre, Jack Swagger and a conflicted Mark Henry. When none of these Superstars managed to wear down Cena enough, The Chairman stipulated that the bout was now a No Disqualification Match. After failing to enlist The World’s Strongest Man to nail Cena with the ring bell, WWE Champion Batista entered the fray and laid out Henry. Before The Chairman could clock Cena with the bell, though, Kofi Kingston ran out for the save. Batista seemed prepared as he attacked Kingston and even battled Cena at that point.
With Cena incapacitated, his WrestleMania foe took advantage and Batista Bombed the exhausted Superstar in the ring. Mr. McMahon then quickly pinned him for the win.
“Stone Cold” Steve Austin to act as Raw’s special guest host next week Quick, somebody hide the beer! “Stone Cold” Steve Austin returns to Raw next week as special guest host. Not only will The Texas Rattlesnake preside over the contract signing between Mr. McMahon and Bret Hart, he’s even announced that next Monday will be WrestleMania Rewind night, featuring rematches from years past including John Cena vs. Big Show (WrestleMania XX), Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Jericho (WrestleMania XIX) and Triple H vs. Randy Orton (25th Anniversary of WrestleMania).
Evan Bourne def. William Regal in a Money in the Bank Qualifying Match The line-up for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match is all set. With the inclusion of Evan Bourne, the eight-man field in the WrestleMania showdown has been established. “Air” Bourne managed to secure the final eighth position by bombarding William Regal – as the Englishman’s NXT Rookie Skip Sheffield looked on – with his patented aerial assault and now joins Kane, MVP, Christian, Dolph Ziggler, Shelton Benjamin, Jack Swagger and Matt Hardy to vie for the coveted Money in the Bank briefcase.
Sheamus challenged Triple H to a WrestleMania Match The tension between Triple H and Sheamus all started when The Game effectively ended The Celtic Warrior’s reign as WWE Champion inside of Satan’s Structure. Fitting since a clash between the two should be hell on earth for each man. After suffering a devastating attack by Sheamus last week, Triple H declared that his nemesis would lose his first match ever at WrestleMania – to him! Before the tension became overwhelming, the two collided both inside and outside of the ring.
Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase def. Randy Orton Randy Orton couldn’t wait. As his opponents in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match, Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase, made their way to the ring, their ringleader-turned-rival attacked, leaving the duo dazed before the bout even started. The ambush proved reminiscent of the punishment The Viper dished out to his protégés the week prior.
The Viper, however, would need more than a surprise strike to defeat the two. DiBiase managed to pin the former mentor for an especially satisfying victory. Afterward, Rhodes joined in the fun, also pummeling the impaired Orton with glee.
Unified Tag Team Champions Big Show & The Miz vs. John Morrison & R-Truth ended in a No Contest Having earned their status as No. 1 contenders to the Unified Tag Team Championships, John Morrison & R-Truth dropped by Raw to battle current champions Big Show & The Miz. The match got underway after one of The Miz’s typically bombastic rants. In response, his former tag team partner Morrison and R-Truth double-teamed The “Cleveland Screamer” and sent him over the top rope. The SmackDown duo then punished The World’s Largest Athlete before heading up the entrance ramp after having put “Show-Miz” squarely in their place.
Eve, Kelly Kelly & Gail Kim def. Divas Champion Maryse, Alicia Fox & Katie Lea A week after the Diva Pajama Pillow Fight Match, the winner of that feather-filled fracas, Eve, managed to make it two in a row when she forced Divas Champion Maryse to tap out. This week, the gorgeous grappler teamed with Kelly Kelly & Gail Kim to tackle the challenge of the conceited Canadian, who hooked up with Alicia Fox and Raw's newest Diva, Katie Lea.
Shawn Michaels confronted The Undertaker In a rare Raw appearance, The Undertaker took the mic to address the WWE Universe about his upcoming WrestleMania rematch with Shawn Michaels. The Deadman vowed that, despite HBK’s protestations, he will prevail and bury his opponent’s storied career once and for all.
For his part, HBK begged to differ. “Mr. WrestleMania” confronted his tormentor, insisting that The Undertaker’s 17-0 streak will end and that his rival knows deep inside his being that he will be defeated. HBK even proposed a new match stipulation, to which The Deadman readily agreed: The only way either Superstar can win will be by pinfall or submission.

RVD posts a new blog and teases fans Posted by Mark Virginia on 03/08/2010 at 10:29 AM
Rob Van Dam posted a new blog on his website RobVanDam.com yesterday titled "Mr. Monday Night." Van Dam started the blog out by teasing fans and went into plugging his new DVD. He wrote:
It’s not often that the world as you know it, calls for you. When this happens, you must be ready to hear it. You may have to do the right thing, for those who rely on you. You may need to step up. You may be... The Whole f***ing Show.
What up bitches and bitchetts? Heard any good rumors lately? There’s a pretty big one one out right now about me, Rob Van Dam, and I’m officially confirming that the exciting talk is all true! Here it is...
WRONG SIDE OF TOWN is out! Go get the DVD and be ready to see Stormy Daniels’ boobies!
Van Dam wrote more about various subjects and ended the blog with the following:
All right readers, I got some packing to do. Big plans over the next couple of days. Big, world-changing plans!
See you back here soon, and anywhere else in the mean time.
Mr. Monday Night, RVD- Proud to be a non-conformist!
Quite like TNA's first live Monday telecast two months ago, tomorrow night's TNA iMPACT! will see the debuts of a few familiar faces.
According to a reliable source, "at least three surprise names" are set to debut on tomorrow night's live show.
Rob Van Dam is one of those names that we can now confirm will be debuting this Monday night on TNA iMPACT!.
As noted before, Jeff Hardy is possible to appear on tonight's live iMPACT. Hardy filmed sitdown interviews for TNA in Orlando a few weeks back for a video package that is supposed to air on TV soon.
There's a rumor going around that Sabu will be appearing as a surprise on tonight's live iMPACT. Considering his friendship with Rob Van Dam, it would be possible. Sabu recently appeared for the XICW promotion in Michigan and is scheduled to wrestle for them on March 21st.
