What Happened After Raw Last Night Posted by Steve Carrier on 11/30/2010 at 12:07 AM
Reader Agahzi attended WWE Raw last night and passed along the following report:
Wade Barrett came out and called out John Cena, who ran in from the crowd. Nexus ran out, but Mark Henry and Daniel Bryan chased them off. Cena hit the Attitude Adjustment and Five Knuckle Shuffle on Barrett to end it.
Cena got on the mic and said Barrett was dumb to call him out. He said it's been a wonderful night because he beat up Nexus. He then announced that it was Jerry Lawler's birthday. Cena led the whole crowd in singing happy "103rd" birthday to Jerry Lawler. The crowd sang and the divas all came out with a cake. Along with the Divas were all of the season three NXT forks. Cena took the cake and started a food fight.

Mick Foley doesn't feel he will stay with TNA Posted by Corbin Nordhoff on 12/01/2010 at 02:59 PM

During an appearance on "Geek Week Live" on Tuesday, Mick Foley stated that he isn't planning on re-signing with TNA when his contract expires with the company next year.
"I love the idea of having a part-time job that pays well. TNA has been a real blessing in that sense. I would rather be motivated, but it's still nice in this economy to have a job like that. That will expire in eight or nine months. The chances of that relationship continuing are probably not that good. Once you have Hulk Hogan as the face of your company, there's no need for me. And one of the challenges they have on their show, and I understand completely, is there's only so much room for the non-wrestling talker every week, and I had a lot of time to do that for a year and a half."
Foley later went on to say that he expects part of his life to always be involved in wrestling and wouldn't be surprised to receive a call about the WWE Hall of Fame at some point. He also expressed disappointment with TNA not airing any footage of his appearance on "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" and Stewart's "Rally for Sanity."
"I've been beating myself up and it's frustrating because I can't seem to get the decision makers in TNA to realize that it is a big deal to show me in front of 250,000 fans at the Jon Stewart rally and to show the reaction of the crowd. What I'm getting when I ask these questions is a lot of what WCW was. With WWE, we knew that's who you talk to, and so it's very frustrating. I will eventually throw up my hands and just say, 'Okay, I'll walk to the mailbox every two weeks.'"
Foley added that he doesn't plan on wrestling more often as he gets hurt too easy and "it's not worth the extra tenth of a rating point."

WWE Champion The Miz def. Jerry The King Lawler in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match (WATCH | PHOTOS) In the first defense of his new title, WWE Champion The Miz faced Jerry The King Lawler in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match. Although the two exchanged heated words earlier in the evening, once inside the ring, they let their actions do the talking.
Unfortunately for Lawler, Alex Riley would also have a say. The Miz's assistant attempted to intervene, but "The King" fought him off. Later, Michael Cole would also interfere in the dangerous duel when he sensed the WWE Champion might lose. The Miz acolyte halted Lawler's ascent up a ladder, costing him the bout and allowing The "Cleveland Screamer" to bask in the glory of his first successful title defense.

The Englishman called out the man he had fired, but Cena was already in the arena parking lot.
The Englishman then ordered his minions to flood the parking lot. When The Nexus members did just that, however, they soon found themselves confronted by a host of Raw Superstars there to face off against them. As his former Nexus cohorts were beaten or fled, Cena told Barrett - the only man who can hire him back - that he would not relent until he took out each and every one of The Nexus members.

WWE Champion The Miz vs. Jerry Lawler in a Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match arranged (WATCH | PHOTOS) During his celebratory address, new WWE Champion The Miz boasted, bragged and bullied. In other words, he was his typically nauseating self. The whole spectacle proved too much for Jerry The King Lawler, who noted that Miz defeated Randy Orton only after the former champion had been attacked by The Nexus and had to fight the groups formidable leader, Wade Barrett. Miz appeared incensed, but the anonymous Raw General Manager chimed in. The GM arranged a Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match pitting Miz against Lawler!

When the battle spread outside the ring, the high-flying Mysterio accidently landed on Del Rio. The aristocratic Superstar would soon get his revenge. After the intense action between The Master of the 619 and Rhodes caused a collision that knocked the referee to the ground, Del Rio yanked the masked Superstars legs back into the steel ring post. This set up The Dashing One to execute the Cross Rhodes for the victory. Rhodes exited the ring, setting his sights on King of the Ring this Monday, while Del Rio delivered a post-match onslaught on Mysterio.

World Heavyweight Champion Kane demands that Edge return Paul Bearer (WATCH: Part 1| 2 | 3| 4 | 5 | PHOTOS: Part 1 | Part 2) At Survivor Series, the World Heavyweight Championship Match ended in a draw, thanks to an extremely controversial finish (Results). Though Kane returned to SmackDown with the title still in his grasp, he continued to agonize over the whereabouts of his father Paul Bearer, abducted two weeks ago by Edge. At The Ultimate Opportunists prodding, an uncharacteristically subdued Devils Favorite Demon asked The Master Manipulator nicely to return The Father of Destruction to him. But, Edge did not find his request sincere enough to oblige him.
Kanes obsessive search to reclaim his father continued throughout SmackDown. Every time Kane thought he had caught up with The Ultimate Opportunist, all he found was an empty wheelchair. When The Rated-R Superstar appeared in the crowd with Paul Bearer, threatening to hurl him down the arena stairs in his wheelchair, Kane tried to appease him by offering another opportunity at the World Title. Edge accepted, but still held on to Paul Bearer.
However, that was not Edge's biggest hit of the night. After luring Kane out to the parking lot, The Master Manipulator drove over a fake "Paul Bearer" dummy in full view of the horrified World Heavyweight Champion. As Edge drove on, the petrified Paul Bearer could be seen, still captive in the back seat. (Watch)
- Part of the reason CM Punk was added to the RAW announce team is because Vince McMahon is high on a three-man team. WWE officials are also high on Punk's broadcast work and didn't want to keep him off TV while he recovers from the hip injury.
