Tommy Mercer vs. Stevie Richards. Winner via Stevie Kick, Stevie Richards.
TNA Impact for 11/25 on Spike TV
Matt Morgan is out in a suit. For the past two weeks he beat Fortune to get his rematch against Jeff Hardy. Then he beat the man himself, Ric Flair. Then by winning that he got to pick his own special referee. That way, what happened at Turning Point wont happen again.
A rookie referee got nervous and made a mistake. But hey, s happens. He doesnt blame the referee, he blames himself. He shouldve annihilated Hardy so bad he wouldnt be able to move for three days, let alone three seconds.
He needs a man who wont be afraid to stand up and take care of business. A man who can get the job done. When all is said and done it wont matter who the referee is, itll be all about him becoming the new world champion.
Douglas Williams music hits and he joins Morgan. In regards to a referee he says Morgan needs to look no further. He knows what his life with Fortune has been like lately. He insults each member individually. He says he was there for Morgan last week and he can depend on him now. Morgan says he did step up and this is a big decision. He has 10 days to decide and Williams will be the first to know.
Fortune comes out to the top of the ramp. Flair says theyre both outside looking in. Flair says Doug has made a big mistake going against them. Kazarian says Thanksgiving meant to him that there would be lots of wrestling. So how about Morgan and Williams go find some partners and a corner.
Rob Van Dam runs out for the save and Rhino bails. RVD calls out for Rhino for turning on his friends. RVD says at the pay-per-view hell handle things and makes the match a first blood match. That way, by the pay-per-view, the DNA of TNA will be DOA for Jeff Hardy. Kaz says lets go, we have Dixie Carter coming as a special guest and we need to get ready.
Detroit Street Fight, Rhino vs. Tommy Dreamer. Winner Tommy Dreamer.
Matt Morgan, Douglas Williams and Samoa Joe are talking. Morgan says this divide and conquer stuff needs to stop and they need to stick together. Joe says there is no we and he handles his own business. Williams says thats kind of mad to do. Joe says you think Im mad? Wait until you see what he does tonight in the 8 man.
Williams and Morgan are talking to The Pope DAngelo Dinero. Williams asks Pope to be the fourth member of their team. Pope asks who the third member is. They say Joe and Pope laughs. He doesnt trust Joe as far as he can throw him. Hes got to much on his plate right now. He wishes them the best of luck tonight but he has to deal with Abyss.
Morgan says what happens when hes done with Abyss? He then has to go after Fortune by himself. Do it now when everybody is together. Pope says it makes sense and hell see them out there.
MMA exhibition match, Jesse Neal vs. Jeff Jarrett. Winner Jeff Jarrett.
Brother Ray is out with a new video and song. He says some of the fans and some of the wrestlers are mad he kicked Devon in the back of the head. His question is, Why? Why is anyone mad? He deserved it. If it wasnt for him he could have retired as champions. Chris Sabin kicked out of the 3D because Devon is weak. Hes put a video package together to show how weak Devon is and how hes always been the leader of Team 3D.
A video of Devon getting beat up is shown. Ray says hes embarrassed to even watch it. A loud you suck chant starts. He says hell prove he doesnt suck by showing the best of Ray. Highlights of Ray plays while the crowd chants you still suck. He cant believe they still think that after watching the video.
Ray says he heard Devon is mad at him and wants to have some words with him. Ray says if thats true then come here next week and talk. Hes not hard to find.
Backstage The Beautiful People are messing around with someone and holding up one of their new action figures. Ric Flair walks up and starts joking with them. Mickie James walks up and joins in the fun. Then Tara and Madison Rayne show up and Tara spits in Mickies face so a fight breaks out. The Beautiful People attack Madison for fun. Angelina goes to check on Mickie and she accidentally hits Angelina. Mickie and Tara continue fighting all over and disappear around the corner.
Madison Rayne comes out and screams at Sarita for putting her hands on her. She says this is her show and shes the champ. Shell talk real slow because shes a Spaniard but GET OUT HERE NOW. Sarita makes her way down.
Madison Rayne vs. Sarita. Winner Sarita
Douglas Williams, Matt Morgan, The Pope & Samoa Joe vs. Fortune (Beer Money, Kazarian & AJ Styles). James Storm ends in a no decision.
Is Alex Riley's future with WWE in doubt? Posted by Roscoe De Soto on 11/24/2010 at 12:11 PM
Credit: F4WOnline.com
It is said that Alex Riley's on-air association with The Miz saved him from being let go following his arrest for driving under the influence last Wednesday in Tampa, Florida. He was said to be pretty nervous for several days, however. WWE did not officially announce any punishment and he worked the Survivor Series PPV and Monday's RAW.
TNA Star Likely Leaving Company Soon Posted by Steve Carrier on 11/25/2010 at 02:36 PM
Rhino is believed to be working on a nightly deal with TNA Wrestling. He was telling people at Turning Point that he had yet to receive a contract offer from the company.
One TNA source noted that the company had originally intended to part ways with Rhino when his contract expired, but he's staying put for the time being due to his current program with Rob Van Dam. However, the belief amongst many in the organization is that he will be gone once the storyline concludes.
- According to Dave Meltzer, it is going to be difficult for the recently released WWE stars to join TNA. It appears that TNA is slowing down when it comes to hiring wrestlers since Kurt Angle has been unable to get Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas into the company.

Mark Henry def. The Usos (WATCH | PHOTOS) In the second rematch of the night, Mark Henry tangled with both Jimmy & Jey Uso in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match. Following up a loss to the brothers on the Nov. 4 edition of WWE Superstars, The Worlds Strongest Man either had a better idea of how to combat the talented duos two pronged attack or was just in a rush to get back to his Thanksgiving dinner. Either way, Henry made short work of the tag specialists, snapping the brothers like a wishbone before putting them away with The Worlds Strongest Slam.
Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov def. Zack Ryder & Primo (WATCH | PHOTOS) After coming up short in their big WWE Tag Team Championship Match at Survivor Series, Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov were ready to begin working their way back up the tag team ladder. The odd couple got off to a good start tonight with a victory over the pairing of Zack Ryder & Primo. Although both men have separately held the WWE Tag Team Championships, Long Island Iced-Z and the Puerto Rican Superstar failed to click as a duo tonight and ended up falling to the bite of Santinos dreaded Cobra strike.
Curt Hawkins def. Trent Barreta (WATCH | PHOTOS) On last Thursdays WWE Superstars, Curt Hawkins fell to the explosive Trent Barreta in a hotly contested bout. But instead of congratulating his young opponent, Hawkins claimed that the victory was a fluke and challenged Barreta to a rematch tonight. Accepting the bout, Barreta again brought the fight to his aggressive rival, but couldnt get the momentum going in his favor like he did last week. Instead, it was the former WWE Tag Team Champion who scored the win tonight, making good on his claim that his loss last week was just an off night.
For those wondering about the status of WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart, we can report that his WWE contract recently expired.
The feeling within WWE is that it does not make sense to use Hart unless there is something "major" for him to do, so don't expect him to appear on WWE television any time soon. If something does come up, there is always the option of signing him to another short-term deal.
Hart remains on very good terms with WWE and him not appearing on television is not a sign that the two sides are on bad terms.
Bret Hart will also continue to make occasional appearances when WWE holds live events in markets where Hart remains very popular. Hart appeared at live WWE events in New York City, Calgary and on WWE's most recent European tour.
Hart was married over the summer and is enjoying life with his new wife.
As noted earlier here on the website, WWE axed Jack Swagger's mascot character, the Swagger Soaring Eagle. The mascot's fate will be revealed on this Friday's episode of SmackDown!. Read the spoilers if you want to know. It's hilarious how they kill the character off.

Matt Hardy talks more about his departure Posted by Roscoe De Soto on 11/23/2010 at 03:53 PM
- Matt Hardy has implied that WWE may have altered their Wellness Policy because of him during an interview with Brian Fritz of Fanhouse.com.
Hardy admits to using muscle relaxant but says he did not take anymore than his physician prescribed. He does believe that WWE amended their Policy at least partially because of his situation.
The former WWE star also says that he was released two weeks before it was actually announced by the company.

The Miz is the new WWE Champion after cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase tonight on Raw and dethroning Randy Orton of the title.
Moments before The Miz cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase, Orton successfully defended the WWE Title against Wade Barrett after John Cena ran into the ring to prevent Barrett from scoring a three count on "The Viper."
Prior to the main event, The Nexus jumped Orton and injured his knee. Miz then took advantage of Orton retaining despite the storyline injury by immediately cashing in his briefcase.
The near three minute long bout concluded with The Miz countering the RKO into the Skullcrushing Finale for the pinfall victory.

ORLANDO - Buckle up, hold on and expect the unexpected. While Central Florida may be the epicenter of theme parks and wild rides, the WWE Universe was forced onto a rollercoaster ride of their own, bidding farewell to one era while bracing for a completely new one - The Age of Awesome.
The Miz def. WWE Champion Randy Orton (WATCH | PHOTOS) Although Randy Orton had successfully defended his title against Wade Barrett at Survivor Series and again on Raw, The Nexus decided to make him pay with a savage beating. Then, like a shark sensing blood in the water, The Miz cashed in his Money in the Bank contract on the vulnerable Viper. Despite a valiant effort by Orton, he could no longer overcome the obstacles thrown his path and fell to Miz, who became the new WWE Champion.
WWE Champion Randy Orton def. Wade Barrett (WATCH | PHOTOS) Wade Barrett couldnt possibly have thought hed seen the last of John Cena, could he? Earlier in the evening, the Englishman waved tah-tah to the man he was responsible for having fired from WWE and prepared for his title match against WWE Champion Randy Orton.
Taking out an insurance policy, perhaps, Barrett had The Nexus ambush The Viper as he approached the ring. During their rematch, a battered Orton and the Englishman circled one another cautiously, treading carefully after the attack and the chaos of their match at Survivor Series. During the contest, Cena surprised both men, cutting through the crowd toward the ring. Upon spotting him, Barrett charged the ropes, but his nemesis already had him toppling over with an Attitude Adjustment. This allowed Orton to RKO Barrett and pin him to retain his title for the moment.
John Morrison def. Tyson Kidd in a King of the Ring Qualifying Match (WATCH | PHOTOS) John Morrison made a statement last night by defeating Sheamus at Survivor Series. On Raw, it appeared that The Shaman of Sexy had yet to finish his proclamation. He continued to assert himself against Tyson Kidd in a King of the Ring Qualifying Match. Morrison had his hands full against Kidds newfound aggression, to be sure, but The Guru of Greatness and his determination proved too difficult to surmount. The victory means that Morrison will face off against The Celtic Warrior, U.S. Champion Daniel Bryan and Ezekiel Jackson as well as four yet-to-be-determined entrants from SmackDown.
WWE Divas Champion Natalya def. Alicia Fox (WATCH | PHOTOS) It almost didnt seem fair. WWE Divas Champion Natalya was still riding the high of defeating self-proclaimed Co-Divas Champions Lay-Cool at Survivor Series the night before when she faced down Alicia Fox. With a mountain of momentum beneath her feet, the pink-and-black beauty laid waste to her opponent in persuasive fashion.
U.S. Champion Daniel Bryan def. Ted DiBiase in a King of the Ring Qualifying Match (WATCH | PHOTOS) Ted DiBiase might have money, but Daniel Bryan has his number. For the second time in as many nights, the United States Champion emerged victorious against The Fortunate Son. Accompanied to the ring by Brie Bella, Bryan used his high-energy approach and ring prowess to once again topple DiBiase and qualify for next weeks King of the Ring Tournament. Afterward, Nikki Bella rushed in to raise Bryans hand in victory. Man, what kind of cologne is this guy wearing?
John Cena addressed the WWE Universe (WATCH: PART 1 | PART 2 | PHOTOS) Hard to believe its over. After nine years, John Cena bid the WWE Universe a heartfelt farewell. The Legendary star insisted he has no regrets for calling the WWE Title Match down the middle at Survivor Series, costing him his career. As the audience showered adulation on one of the rings greatest, Cena saluted from the stage for the last time. In the locker room area, the Superstar navigated a host of colleagues there to pay their respects, including Randy Orton. And as Cena exited the arena, Wade Barrett taunted him with a You-Cant-See-Me wave of his hand.
Ezekiel Jackson def. Alex Riley in a King of the Ring Qualifying Match (WATCH | PHOTOS) As any student knows, being a substitute can be brutal. Now imagine being a sub for The Miz. Once again, Mr. Money in the Bank passed the buck to his assistant, Alex Riley, compelling him to compete in his stead. This time, Riley was forced to battle powerhouse Ezekiel Jackson in a King of the Ring Qualifying Match. Big Zeke, however, was not to be denied and qualified with a convincing win.
Sheamus def. R-Truth in a King of the Ring Qualifying Match (WATCH | PHOTOS) In the wake of his loss to John Morrison at Survivor Series, Sheamus appeared eager to punish someone, anyone. Poor R-Truth. The athletic Superstar found himself vying against the enraged Irishman in a qualifying match for an opportunity to compete in a King of the Ring Tournament live next Monday on a special three-hour Raw. The Celtic Warrior proved hes not a man to be trifled with, overpowering Truth for the victory.
As new Raw commentator CM Punk pointed out, in the tournament, the Irishman will face three other Raw entrants as well as four competitors from SmackDown, who will be determined this Friday.
WWE Champion Randy Orton vs. Wade Barrett arranged (WATCH) Wade Barrett lost to WWE Champion Randy Orton at Survivor Series, fair and square and the Englishman simply cant bear the thought of it. Addressing the WWE Universe, Barrett posited a theory that seemed as out-there as Prince Charles ears: the matchs special guest referee, John Cena, had been plotting against him the entire time. Sigh.
Despite the ludicrous charge, The Nexus leader was offered a chance at redemption. Raws anonymous General Manager arranged a title match pitting Barrett against The Viper in the nights main event. Satisfied, Barrett accepted and went on to explain that he will also allow Cena to address the WWE Universe one last time as well. Gee, what a swell bloke.
