According to prowrestling.net, TNA will be keeping Ken Anderson out of the ring for the rest of the year. The expectation at this point is that he will still be involved on shows, but not actually wrestle until January 2011. The belief within TNA is that they want to be very careful with Anderson's health after he suffered a serious concussion back in October.

Melina & Gail Kim def. Alicia Fox & Maryse (WATCH | PHOTOS) After three rough and ugly battles, WWE Superstars got a much-needed dose of beauty as four of Raws most gorgeous Divas locked up in a fast-paced tag bout. Still on commentary, CM Punk predicted that Fox & Maryse would win the match, because they were rotten human beings. But the former World Heavyweight Champions backhanded compliment didnt come true as the talented team of Melina & Gail came out on top after the screaming Diva rolled up Maryse for the 1-2-3.
Yoshi Tatsu def. Primo (WATCH | PHOTOS) Before these exciting competitors locked up, WWE Superstars received a surprising visit from CM Punk who sat in with Scott Stanford on commentary during this spirited bout. Although he immediately called his broadcast partner Steve, The Straight Edge Savior did a fine job of chronicling the action between two of Raws most up-and-coming Superstars. Quick and aggressive, Primo ruthlessly battered Tatsu and even took a moment to high-five CM Punk after nailing a vicious maneuver on Yoshi. But the Puerto Rican Superstars arrogance couldnt net him the win. In the end, The Cardiac Kid scored with a huge kick off the top rope to pick up his second straight win on WWE Superstars.
Trent Barreta def. Curt Hawkins (WATCH | PHOTOS) Two of SmackDowns most promising young Superstars, Trent Barreta and Curt Hawkins are no strangers to one another both trained together in the same gym for WWE and have locked up in both tag and singles action many times before. This familiarity lent itself to an exciting back-and-forth contest tonight as each competitor seemed to know what their opponent was going to do before they did it. But Barreta finally took Hawkins by surprise when he nailed him with a devastating springboard DDT to earn a very well-deserved victory.
Chavo Guerrero def. JTG (WATCH | PHOTOS) As a member of the legendary Guerrero family, Chavo Guerrero was practically raised on a wrestling mat, developing an amazing in-ring style that has garnered him a number of championships in WWE. But that hasnt stopped the self-proclaimed Mexican Warrior from lying, cheating and stealing in order to win. Up against the talented and unorthodox JTG, Guerrero utilized everything in his book of tricks, including devastating lucha moves and underhanded low blows behind the officials back. This aggressive style paid off in the end as Chavo nailed a big frog splash to defeat the Brooklyn Superstar.
Skip Sheffield Officially Gone from Nexus Posted by Steve Carrier on 11/18/2010 at 01:45 AM
- According to an article on WWE.com documenting the history of The Nexus, Skip Sheffield is no longer considered a member of the group.
The article states: "Immediately following that heinous first attack, the stalwart Bryan expressed remorse for his actions and parted ways with The Nexus, while Tarver, Sheffield and Young were later deemed unworthy of the rebels' signature armband either due to exile or injury. However, as witnessed by the WWE Universe, the group only grew stronger and more streamlined as a result of the changes within its ranks."
During the Aug. 18 live event in Honolulu, Hawaii, Sheffield injured his ankle in a tag team match with David Otunga against The Hart Dynasty. It was later determined that he suffered a compound fracture of his ankle and was initially expected to be out for four to six months.
Sheffield was never officially booted from the group on television. Wade Barrett acknowledged in passing during an interview on the Aug. 30 episode of RAW that Sheffield suffered an ankle injury.
- Nexus member Skip Sheffield is still on crutches after being injured a few months back. Its believed hes still at least three months away from returning to the ring. No word if they will put him back in Nexus when he returns.
- It's believed that Sting will re-sign with TNA when they bring back some of the top babyface stars in January along with Kurt Angle. Kevin Nash is also expected to come back in that storyline but he's not a lock to return.

Homicide talks about politics in TNA Posted by Corbin Nordhoff on 11/17/2010 at 01:40 PM
Former TNA star Homicide was interviewed by Canada's Slam Wrestling and spoke candidly about his release from the company. Here are some highlights of what he said about:
Politics In TNA, Being Miserable & His Eventual Release:
"I'm not going to lie to you, I was telling my girlfriend honesty, it hurts everybody. When I speak the truth, it hurts. I didn't say anything aggressive. I was frustrated in the end. I'm very confident that I can do better. Politics just got me in the butt and just caught me. I was miserable at the end of my days in TNA, I didn't like it."
Despite all that, Homicide looks back fondly on his time in TNA. He told Slam, "I miss the boys, I miss the staff, I miss everything. I became a smarter businessman when I went to TNA."
Working With Hernandez & Konan In Mexico:
"He's in Mexico right now, he's still in TNA, but he's doing more coverage in Mexico. There's a big rumor that me, Hernandez and Konnan are going to do the 5150 tour in Mexico, and hopefully we're going to bring it to the States and we're going to have a LAX reunion."
Ex-WWE star takes credit for Sheamus having a job Posted by Roscoe De Soto on 11/16/2010 at 12:28 PM
During an interview on Right After Wrestling yesterday night, former WWE wrestler Jimmy Yang took credit for bringing the "Celtic Warrior" Sheamus to World Wrestling Entertainment, saying, "I'm the one who got Sheamus his job."
"I picked him out in Milan, Italy and said, 'I'm gonna test this guy out' and look at him now, he's done great. I saw the workouts earlier and they told me that I could work with anyone I wanted. It came down to him and another German guy. I went to both guys and I asked, 'Who does Italy hate the most, Germans or Irishmen?' They both told me Irishmen, so I ended up picking Sheamus to work that night. The rest is history.
X-Pac talks about not being at RAW Posted by Roscoe De Soto on 11/16/2010 at 03:51 AM
Sean Waltman (X-Pac) posted the following on Twitter:
"I dont know why I wasnt at Old School Raw. Maybe everyone should call them and ask them. Dont tell them I told you to call though:) Not that they wont find out anyway, with all the wwe undercover operatives scanning twitterverse. Maybe I just slipped their mind. If u listen to their version of history, i barely existed. f*** em if they cant take a joke. 4 f*** sakes, the election is over. Enough with the PG bullshit Vince. I love you Boss, but come on. Trust me, Im not trying to get a job. Im doing fine & having fun. I just like to play harmless ribs. Someone's gonna be pissed though. lol! As long as there testing for marijuana, which is totally retarded, I will not pass their drug test. They will drop the pot thing. watch"
HHH hints that his in-ring career is winding down Posted by Roscoe De Soto on 11/15/2010 at 05:14 PM
Triple H recently commented on his rehab and WWE return status during a recent Wrestlemania 27 promotional interview with SBNation.com.
HHH stated, "Got another couple months rehab-wise. I don't know how regularly I'll be back."
The former DX member continued, "We made a pact that if one of us didn't recognize it's time to quit, we'd tell the other one it's time. It's a young man's business, and I'm cool with that. I have fun working with the other side of the business, and I don't kill animals or follow sports."
- World Wrestling Entertainment released five developmental talents over the weekend; Dr. Cable Jones, Devin Allen, Fahd Rakman, Ron Myers, Rhys Ali and referee Daniel Skylar.
All six were removed from the roster page of the official website of Florida Championship Wrestling.
Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler def. Mark Henry WWE Tag Team Champions Justin Gabriel & Heath Slater def. The Hart Dynasty Ezekiel Jackson def. The Brooklyn Brawler John Cena def. Alex Riley Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov def. The Usos Kofi Kingston def. David Otunga Wade Barrett def. R-Truth Alberto Del Rio def. Sgt. Slaughter Mae Young def. "Co-WWE Divas Champions" Michelle McCool & Layla in a No Disqualification Non-Title Match U.S. Champion Daniel Bryan def. Jack Swagger
HERSHEY, Pa. Who needs a DeLorean that can hit 88 mph to travel back in time? Instead, Raw kicked off Old School night with a battalion of WWE Alumni and Hall of Famers. And although the classic Raw graphics and ring ropes were evident, there was still a lot of brand new developments leading up to this Sundays Survivor Series.
WWE Champion Randy Orton, John Cena and Wade Barrett clashed on Pipers Pit (WATCH | PHOTOS) Prior to Rowdy Roddy Piper hosting John Cena and WWE Champion Randy Orton on his talk show, Pipers Pit, more than a dozen old school Superstars took a bow, including Dusty Rhodes, Million Dollar Man, IRS, Tito Santana, Iron Sheik, Nikolai Volkoff and Tatanka, among others.
When the applause finally receded, the historic lineup of Superstars allowed Piper to welcome his guests, The Viper and The Nexus Cena. First out was Cena, who assured his host that, as special guest referee, he would call the WWE Title Match at Survivor Series right down the middle. Upon hearing Cenas proclamation, Wade Barrett intruded to remind the Legendary star that he will be fired from WWE if the Englishman loses or be free from The Nexus if Barrett wins, all of which means that, depending on the outcome at Survivor Series, it may well have been Cena's final appearance in WWE. Regardless of outcome, Cena, forced to wear the N-labeled shirt of his associates, told his overlord that he still plans on pummeling him.
The other Superstar in the volatile equation, WWE Champion Randy Orton, then factored in. The Viper mentioned to Cena that he had wanted to punt him in the skull to eliminate him from referee duties this Sunday. Instead, WWEs Apex Predator thought it best to sink his fangs into Barrett.
Just as Orton prepared to punt Barretts skull, though, Nexus reluctant warrior Cena stopped him and was punished with an RKO. Seizing the moment, Barrett once again engaged Orton in battle, only to be felled once more. The brief exchange was just enough to enable a groggy Cena now the focus of the champions punt to recover and evade The Vipers charging boot. The Legendary star hit Orton with an Attitude Adjustment, at which point the Englishman ordered his disciple to raise his hand in victory. Big mistake. Cena took umbrage and laid out Barrett with an Attitude Adjustment of his own, a mere six days before Survivor Series.
U.S. Champion Daniel Bryan def. Jack Swagger (WATCH) Awash in a sea of red, white & blue, United States Champion Daniel Bryan took on the challenge of The All-American American, Jack Swagger. With Good ol J.R. Jim Ross acting as special guest commentator, the U.S. Champion proved his colors dont run by defeating Swagger in an interpromotional clash.
After the victory, however, Bryan would not have time to celebrate. Instead, Ted DiBiase bolted in and leveled the U.S. Champion before holding the U.S. Title overhead after earlier rejecting The Million Dollar Title from his father, who had retrieved it from Aksana. His statement made, The Fortunate Son then strolled off with his lady friend Maryse on his arm.
Mae Young def. Co-Divas Champions Michelle McCool & Layla in a No Disqualification Non-Title Match (WATCH | PHOTOS) Respect your elders or else! With WWEs original Diva, Mae Young, soaking up the well-deserved respect of the crowd, self-proclaimed Co-Divas Champions Michelle McCool & Layla couldnt help themselves. WWEs Mean Girls came out and quickly began ripping on the pioneering Young, who, in turn, challenged Lay-Cool to a No Disqualification Match. McCool & Layla eagerly accepted, but then a host of Raw Divas intervened and crushed Lay-Cool, allowing Young to pin Layla for the win.
Alberto Del Rio def. Sgt. Slaughter (WATCH | PHOTOS) A Superstar badmouths the good ol U.S. of A. long enough and theyll have Sgt. Slaughter raining down shock and awe. After being introduced by Tito Santana and accompanied to the ring by Chavo Guerrero Sr., Alberto Del Rio began spouting yet another anti-American tirade. Sarge was quickly all over him like camo on a corporal, challenging the Mexican elitist to a match. Although Slaughter ran him through an obstacle course of hurt, the moneyed Mexican still managed to overcome and emerge victorious. In the wake of Del Rio's win, MVP rushed in to aid Sarge and chase off the Mexican menace.
Wade Barrett def. R-Truth (WATCH | PHOTOS) Wade Barrett proved he isnt simply a ruthless, petulant leader with a nasally English accent and greasy hair. The guys actually got chops. To demonstrate, Barrett faced R-Truth in singles competition and toppled the athletic Superstar. With both WWE Champion Randy Orton and John Cena looking on separately in the locker room area, the Englishman asserted himself just six days before his WWE Title Match at Survivor Series.
Kofi Kingston def. David Otunga (WATCH | PHOTOS) George The Animal Steele must have been feeling a bit peckish. During an interpromotional bout pitting David Otunga against SmackDowns Kofi Kingston, the WWE Hall of Famer ambled to the ring and, with a flash of his green tongue, began to devour the stuffing from one of the rings turnbuckles. The oddity distracted the Nexus disciple long enough to allow Kingston to take advantage for the win.
Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov def. The Usos (WATCH | PHOTOS) The borscht will burst and the risotto runneth over! Vladimir Kozlov & Santino Marella are sure to celebrate after becoming the No. 1 contenders to the WWE Tag Team Titles by defeating The Usos. Not even the encouragement of Tamina and her father, WWE Hall of Famer Superfly Jimmy Snuka, could propel Jimmy & Jey over their worldly opponents, who must face champions and Nexus disciples Justin Gabriel & Heath Slater.
The pairs celebration, though, would have to wait. In the wake of their victory, an irate Sheamus charged the ring and unleashed fury. As he trained his ire on Santino, who had handed him an embarrassing upset weeks earlier, John Morrison entered and nailed him. Santinos defender then revealed his motivation: He wasnt about to let the Irishman get away with his bullying bull.
Later, The Celtic Warrior attacked The Shaman of Sexy in the locker room area and a match between the two was arranged for Survivor Series.
John Cena def. Alex Riley; WWE Champion Randy Orton and John Cena to face off during "Pipers Pit" (WATCH | PHOTOS) Agreeing to a match with John Cena seems easy enough. Actually participating in said match, well, thats when things get a little dicey. Although he was supposed to face Cena, The Miz conveniently begged off, subbing in his apprentice Alex Riley instead. Cena had hoped to hobble The Cleveland Screamer, so that he would be unable to cash in his Money in the Bank contract. Instead, Cena made quick work of Riley with a crushing STF.
Afterward, WWE Champion Randy Orton sought retaliation against Miz for ambushing him the week prior. Before The Viper could strike, though, Nexus members Husky Harris and Michael McGillicutty intervened, allowing Miz to scamper away. Disposing of the two Nexi, Orton then found himself facing Cena himself. Tensions could not be contained, and the two exchanged blows before a torrent of referees and trainers was able to separate the two. During the simmer, Raw's anonymous GM chimed in and ordered the two Superstars to settle their differences later in the evening during an episode of "Piper's Pit."
Ezekiel Jackson def. The Brooklyn Brawler (WATCH | PHOTOS) The Brooklyn Brawler defeat Ezekiel Jackson? Fuggedaboutit! Accompanied by manager Harvey Wippleman, the old school icon challenged any of the new school Superstars to a match. Unfortunately for him, Jackson appeared more than eager to accept and defeated Brawler in impressive fashion.
WWE Tag Team Champions Justin Gabriel & Heath Slater def. The Hart Dynasty (WATCH | PHOTOS) After weeks of frustration with his partners performance, Tyson Kidd finally decided to bury the hatchet right in David Hart Smiths back. Before their non-title bout against WWE Tag Team Champions Justin Gabriel & Heath Slater, The Hart Dynasty duo appeared to be on the mend, agreeing to forego their recent difficulties. During the match, however, just as it appeared Hart Smith was gaining momentum, Kidd booted him in the face and deliberately cost him the match. He then walked off and left his befuddled partner alone in the ring.
Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler def. Mark Henry (WATCH | PHOTOS) Prior to his match against Mark Henry, Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler compared himself and his lady friend, Vickie Guerrero, to another Intercontinental couple, Macho Man Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth. Although the comparison seemed about as believable as Zigglers hair color, the bottle blond did back up his boasts. He managed to win the interpromotional match by locking in a sleeper hold on The Worlds Strongest Man.
John Cena vs. The Miz arranged (PHOTOS) Ushering in old school night, legendary announcer Mean Gene Okerlund introduced WWE Hall of Famer Cowboy Bob Orton, father of the current WWE Champion. When the senior Orton informed the WWE Universe that his son Randy will prevail at Survivor Series this Sunday, his sons opponent, Wade Barrett, took exception. The leader of The Nexus predicted a much different outcome, one that prompted The Miz to enter the fray.
Mr. Money in the Bank reminded the WWE Universe that he can cash in his title contract at any moment, threatening to keep John Cena in Nexus indefinitely. That threat did not sit well with Cena, who challenged Miz to a match, hoping to ensure that he is in no condition to cash in his contract. After thinking it over, Mr. Money in the Bank finally accepted the challenge.
Update on Top FCW Star to WWE's Roster Posted by Steve Carrier on 11/15/2010 at 11:13 AM
This isn't confirmed yet but Johnny Curtis reportedly became the new FCW Heavyweight Champion at Thursday's TV tapings after beating Mason Ryan by forfeit. Mason wasn't at the WWE developmental tapings because he has been overseas with the main WWE roster. This is a good sign that Mason, who is similar to Batista, may end up on RAW or SmackDown soon.
Apparently Ryan had the FCW belt with him in Europe so Curtis didn't receive the title Thursday. Again, this isn't confirmed but we'll keep you updated. If anyone attended the tapings and can provide an update, please feel free to e-mail us.
-- Eric Young re-signed with TNA Wrestling this week after his previous contract expired on Nov. 1. He agreed to a sizable pay cut, but given the rights to book his own independent
