- WWE has re-signed William Regal to multi-year contract renewal. Considering that Regal is 42 years old, this may indicate that WWE has plans for him past his in-ring career.
- Yesterday's report of WWE signing St. Louis based independent wrestler "The Future" Donovan Ruddick to a developmental contract is incorrect as he was merely offered a deal but had not yet signed. Those close to Ruddick are said to be "freaked" that word of him joining the company leaking online may have canceled the deal.
Former WWE superstar Dave Bautista is currently training for his professional Mixed Martial Arts debut some time in early 2011, but that doesn't mean his days inside the ring are over. Japanese wrestling legend Antonio Inoki's IGF promotion has announced that Batista will be wrestling on their December 3rd show in Japan. We're looking into this story and hope to have more details shortly.

Tyler Reks def. Chris Masters (WATCH | PHOTOS) After brutalizing Kaval and stealing his spot on Team SmackDown on the Oct. 15 edition of SmackDown, Tyler Reks made it clear to the WWE Universe that he was here to make a serious impact. The dreadlocked devastator brought this focus to WWE Superstars, but he was locking up with a much larger opponent in the form of Chris Masters. As a man who could top Reks in the power department, The Masterpiece had the ability to stop the destructive Superstar, but Reks refused to be outdone. Displaying some serious strength of his own, the California native was able to hoist Masters above his head and slam him to the mat for a commanding victory.
MVP def. Curt Hawkins (WATCH | PHOTOS) It was only three weeks ago on WWE Superstars that Curt Hawkins brutally ended his association with his former tag team partner Vance Archer. Hoping to now make his mark as a singles competitor, the aggressive SmackDown Superstar stepped into the ring with MVP tonight, but was unable to bounce The Ballin Superstar. Realizing that Hawkins was attempting to earn some attention by humiliating him, The Franchise Playa brought his A-game and stopped his hungry, young opponent with The Playmaker.
Zack Ryder def. Tyson Kidd (WATCH | PHOTOS) As lifelong friends that practically grew up in a wrestling ring, The Hart Dynasty earned their reputation in WWE based on their flawless teamwork. But ever since dropping the WWE Tag Team Championships at Night of Champions, the team of Tyson Kidd & David Hart Smith has completely lost their ability to focus. The pink and black duos woes continued tonight as Kidd tried his luck in singles action against Zack Ryder and was defeated by The Long Island Loudmouth after a miscommunication with Smith. After the bout, the pair nearly came to blows before being separated by Natalya.
Mark Henry def. Jey Uso (WATCH | PHOTOS) How do you overpower The Worlds Strongest Man? That was the question on Jey Usos mind as he stepped into the ring with the massive Mark Henry. Unfortunately for the tag team specialist, Uso couldnt figure out an answer to that problem. Even with his brother, Jimmy, and his manager, Tamina, attempting to interfere on his behalf, Jey couldnt get the big man off his feet and was ultimately squashed by the Worlds Strongest Slam.

Due to Ken Anderson suffering a concussion, he will not be working the November 7th TNA Turning Point PPV.
SPOILER: TNA shot an angle at last night's tapings, putting Matt Morgan into the match to challenge for the TNA Title against Jeff Hardy.
UPDATE: There is currently no timetable for when Ken Anderson will return to action in TNA. Anderson suffered a concussion, and was going to get it checked out this week. Once he is examined, he and TNA will have a better idea of when he can return to the ring.
The word is that TNA wants to be careful with the concussion issue for obvious reasons, and that is why they decided to go with Matt Morgan vs. Jeff Hardy.

William Regal talks about being arrested, more Posted by Roscoe De Soto on 10/27/2010 at 11:36 AM
The Sun in the UK has a new interview up with WWE star William Regal. Regal tells them that addiction to pills turned him insane and at that time in his life, life meant nothing.
Regal tells a story from his time in WCW on a flight from Tokyo, Japan to Detroit in the late 1990′s. He said:
I was rather out West on booze. I went into the plane toilet and I had my foot in the door, which hadnt shut. I was relieving myself when the hostess tapped me on the shoulder and I spun round. Next thing I know I wake up in a jail cell, in Anchorage, Alaska, when I should have been in Detroit. I had no memory of why I was there. I was in an orange jump suit and was handcuffed to another guy and taken to court. They were going along the line of prisoners reading out charges. I was laughing, thinking, This is all a terrible mistake. Then they read my charge out: Urinating on a flight attendant.
Regal admitted he used steroids in the past but says its not my game anymore.
Regal was told in 2003 that he needed a heart transplant but never went through with the operation. He told The Sun:
I was stunned. They told me Id never wrestle again, they found only about 15 per cent of my heart was functioning. The hearts fine. I dont trust what doctors say now.
The article also notes that Regal has agreed on a new three and a half year deal with WWE.
- As noted earlier, CM Punk underwent an MRI yesterday. Word going around is that Punk was experiencing pain in his hip. As a precaution, WWE pulled him from this weekends live events and ordered the MRI.
- Former WWE star The Boogeyman recently opened an account on YouTube and posted a WWE-esque video of himself indicating he's "coming to your neighborhood soon," as 'Slither'.
- As noted before, The Undertaker is being evaluated this week to see if he needs surgery. Taker could be out of action for four months and the feeling is that they need to get the surgery taken care of now so he can be back in time for WrestleMania season.
More wrestlers comment on Undertaker/Lesnar Posted by Roscoe De Soto on 10/26/2010 at 12:49 PM
Right After Wrestling with Arda Ocal and Jimmy Korderas on SIRIUS Radio 98 got comments from wrestlers / producers about the Brock Lesnar / Undertaker altercation:
LANCE STORM - I was surprised. the skeptical mind of a worker was always wondering whether it was a work or legit. I'm obviously leaning towards work now. i cant see anything come out of this, but it sure made me think. I can't see Taker being that unprofessional to confront him and say anything than pleasant words if there wasn't a plan in the works. Taker is a professional and Brock had just lost a tough fight so I wouldn't see him doing something like that if there wasn't plans in the future or hopeful plans in the future.
DAVE LAGANA - It's amazing that a third party, independently produced, non agenda based video was able to create more buzz about Wrestlemania or any PPV than WWE can create in one 30 second clip. It was pretty cool. I was jazzed to see and the fact that it has a million views in just under two days shows the power of what it did in that video.
COLT CABANA - He's the Undertaker he can say what he wants to say and Brock Lesnar is Brock Lesnar and can do what he wants to do. If it was something set up to get into the wrestling ring like good for them for getting a buzz. If it's not than whatever, all Undertaker did was say a couple of words and now all of a sudden he's got this giant buzz on the internet. Whatever it is it's getting some buzz. It didn't hurt anybody physically, mentally or emotionally I don't think so good for them. What am I gonna do, hope both their careers turn out well. Their both millionaires and are doing awesome so their doing it right. Maybe I should challenge Brock Lesnar after a match also so I can have some buzz like them.
BOOKER T - It's kind of bizarre. It kind of came out of left field. If it was what I think it was, it was a well kept secret. It was interesting, Undertaker seemed like he was a little taken back. Maybe it was because of the outcome of the fight between Cain and Brock. Who is to say, I'm really not sure it was just really bizarre.
