    Edge def. R-Truth

    Divas Champion Melina def. Jillian
United States Champion The Miz def. John Cena by Disqualification
Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov def. The Usos
Randy Orton def. Ted DiBiase and John Morrison in a Triple Threat Match
WWE Champion Sheamus def. Zack Ryder

LOS ANGELES - During Monday Night Raw, the City of Angels played host to a pair of WWE's heavenly bodies, a contingent of deadly sinners and a half dozen Superstars ready to clash in a battle of biblical proportions at the Night of Champions pay-per-view.

WWE Champion Sheamus def. Zack Ryder; Raw’s General Manager announced Six Pack Challenge at Night of Champions (PHOTOS | WATCH: PART 1 | PART 2)
The Celtic “Worrier?” Perhaps WWE Champion Sheamus was too concerned about facing one of WWE’s elite Superstars or maybe he’s got a soft spot for Long Island. Whatever the reason, the Irishman chose to defend his title against Zack Ryder, not on pay-per-view, but on Raw.

A grateful Ryder thanked Sheamus for the opportunity before having his face kicked in and getting pinned inside of a mere 11 seconds. Woo, Woo, Woo. You know it!

After the match, there were several understandably irate Superstars, including Wade Barrett. The leader of The Nexus informed The Celtic Warrior that at Night of Champions, he would invoke the title opportunity he earned after winning season one of WWE NXT. Before the rivalry between England and Ireland could escalate, the Raw General Manager had a few points to make.

Sheamus would indeed defend his title against Barrett, the GM assured. However, he would also defend against four other Superstars in a Six Pack Challenge. Rounding out the field, the GM chose Chris Jericho, Randy Orton, Edge and John Cena. As each man stood wearily in the ring, the mistrust proved overwhelming and the six set out attacking one another, leaving only The Viper to stand tall after an emphatic RKO to Cena. The tension between the sextet assures that Night of Champions is also sure to be a night to remember.

Randy Orton def. Ted DiBiase and John Morrison in a Triple Threat Match (PHOTOS | WATCH)
That throne must really be comfy. After all, WWE Champion Sheamus, who has a penchant for involving himself where he doesn’t belong, actually stayed out of the Triple Threat Match between Randy Orton, John Morrison and Ted DiBiase.

The triumvirate of Superstars competed for the potential opportunity to be chosen by the Irishman to battle him in a title match at Night of Champions. During the bout, Sheamus actually exited to deliberate before announcing who he would face in four weeks. When the carnage was complete, it was The Viper who had snaked past his competition to secure the win.

Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov def. The Usos (PHOTOS |WATCH)
One of the most unlikely pairings in WWE has turned out to be one of the most successful. Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov have scored another victory on the world stage, defeating The Usos, Jimmy and Jey.

After the international triumph, Tamina halted a retaliatory strike aimed squarely at her crush, Santino. As she walked off with the Usos, the daughter of “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka blew a passionate kiss to The Italian Stallion. Hmmm …

United States Champion The Miz def. John Cena by Disqualification (PHOTOS |WATCH)
When asked about The Miz’s attack on Daniel Bryan last week, John Cena called it “petty and classless.” Needless to say, the United States Champion was not amused. When the two faced off, animosity permeated the arena. While Mr. Money in the Bank more than held his own against one of WWE’s premier Superstars, once Cena found his footing, Miz found an escape hatch and fled the ring.

Unfortunately for Miz, Daniel Bryan appeared on the scene and was more than happy to “escort” him back to the ring. After tossing the U.S. Champion back inside, where Cena administered an Attitude Adjustment, Daniel Bryan locked a submission hold onto his nemesis. So intense was the hold that it required five referees to finally break it.

Raw’s GM lifted ban on The Nexus competing for titles (WATCH)
As WWE Champion Sheamus rested regally atop his throne, Raw’s anonymous General Manager shook him from his respite. The Nexus had filed out to join the Irishman on stage when the GM informed the group of outlaws that he was lifting the ban on them competing for titles. As a result, Nexus leader Wade Barrett eagerly informed Sheamus that the “truce” between he and the group was effectively over.

Divas Champion Melina def. Jillian (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Thankfully, Jillian had no reason to break out in song. After pulling out a win for her team last week, the tone-deaf Diva went head-to-head against Divas Champion Melina. Sadly for her, though, the Latina lovely appeared more focused and notched another victory.

After the match, “Women’s Co-Champions,” Layla & Michelle McCool popped up on the TitanTron to mock Melina and inform her that the two will visit next week for Raw’s 900th episode celebration to make her an offer that is simply “flawless.”

Chris Jericho def. The Great Khali (PHOTOS | WATCH)
In the quest to battle Sheamus at Night of Champions, Chris Jericho faced down the towering presence of The Great Khali. By targeting his attack on Khali’s knee, which had been battered by The Nexus two weeks prior, the self-important Superstar managed to topple The Punjabi Playboy with the Walls of Jericho. As he addressed the WWE Champion, though, informing him of his status as the first-ever Undisputed Champion, Khali knocked Jericho from his turnbuckle perch to the arena floor.

Edge def. R-Truth (PHOTOS | WATCH)
In the first match of the evening to help determine which Superstar will face Sheamus at Night of Champions, The Rated-R Superstar laid out a convincing case. Edge faced off against the dynamism of R-Truth. The two had traded heated words with one another in the run-up to SummerSlam, but in this exchange, it was Edge who would prevail.

Afterward, The Ultimate Opportunist  reminded the WWE Champion that he is a nine-time champion, and bragged that until Sheamus defeats him, he hasn’t defeated anyone.

Raw General Manager allowed WWE Champion Sheamus to choose his opponent at Night of Champions (PHOTOS)
After a self-serving tirade about the “VOS,” or Victims of Sheamus, as he referred to some of his past opponents, The Celtic Warrior boasted that he would emerge victorious at one of WWE’s most prestigious pay-per-views, Night of Champions.

After listening to the Irishman’s rant, Raw’s anonymous General Manager piped up. He informed The Celtic Warrior that he could relax in a special throne for the evening to watch a series of matches unfold. After observing the winners, the choice of No. 1 contender for the WWE Title would be up to Sheamus himself.

Kofi Kingston def. Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler (Disqualification; Non-Title Match)
Luke Gallows & Serena def. Big Show & Kelly Kelly
    Christian def. Drew McIntyre
Alberto Del Rio def. Rey Mysterio

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – In his WWE debut, Alberto Del Rio caught the attention of the entire WWE Universe by making Rey Mysterio tap out! And, World Heavyweight Champion Kane explained the attack on his own brother, The Undertaker.

Alberto Del Rio def. Rey Mysterio (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Alberto Del Rio arrived in grand style by driving into the Rabobank Arena in a Rolls Royce. And as he approached the ring, he was introduced by his very own personal ring announcer. Leading up to the big night, Del Rio touted himself in a series of videos (WATCH).

When all the hype and talking were over, and Del Rio finally stepped in the ring, he backed up his words with a huge win over veteran Rey Mysterio by making him tap out with a cross armbreaker. Adding insult to injury, Del Rio locked Rey in the same hold after the match was over to deliver more punishment.

What’s next from this potent 6-foot-5 Superstar? (More on Del Rio)

    The Undertaker’s return announced! (WATCH)
SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long informed Kane that The Undertaker will return to SmackDown next week. Undaunted by the news, The Big Red Monster claimed the night will be "hell on earth."

Christian def. Drew McIntyre (PHOTOS | WATCH)
With “Dashing” Cody Rhodes watching the action as part of the announce team, Christian got the pinfall over Drew McIntyre. Afterward, Rhodes and McIntyre launched an ugly assault on the veteran. After repeatedly stomping on him in the ring, Matt Hardy came to the rescue. Although Hardy held his own – dishing out some punishment of his own – he too ended up on the receiving end of a beating from the aggressive duo. When the dust settled, the two young Superstars stood tall over the fallen veterans.

World Heavyweight Champion Kane explained attacking The Undertaker (WATCH)
Kane offered a look inside the mind of a monster when he described why he attacked his own brother, saying The Phenom’s pride was his ultimate undoing.

Luke Gallows & Serena def. Big Show & Kelly Kelly (PHOTOS | WATCH)
In her in ring debut, Serena earned her first victory by dropping Kelly Kelly with a gutbuster.

Kofi Kingston def. Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler by Disqualification (PHOTOS | WATCH)
After The Nexus crashed their Intercontinental Championship Match at SummerSlam (PHOTOS), reigning champion Dolph Ziggler and Kofi Kingston picked up where they left off in their battle for the prestigious title. On this night, it was Official SmackDown Consultant Vickie Guerrero who interrupted things when she pushed Kingston from the top rope. Although her actions caused an immediate disqualification for her boyfriend, the title cannot change hands on a disqualification. After the bell, Ziggler went to work by dropping Kingston with the Zig Zag, then locking him a sleeper and finally stomping on his defenseless body.

Alberto Del Rio felt Rey Mysterio's wrath (PHOTOS | WATCH)
At the start of the night, Alberto Del Rio interrupted Rey Mysterio’s address to the WWE Universe to tout himself. After taunting The Master of the 619, Del Rio accepted Mysterio’s challenge to go one-on-one. After he got in a few more insults, Del Rio felt Mysterio’s wrath with a slap to the face and 619.

Jack Swagger def. Chris Masters (PHOTOS | WATCH)
It was the Ankle Lock vs. The Master Lock in this heated battle between the conceited Jack Swagger and the powerful Chris Masters. With The Masterpiece having the strength advantage going into this confrontation, the big man attempted to destroy Swagger with some serious power maneuvers. But the former World Heavyweight Champion was able to use his submission expertise to take away Masters’ arm strength and cinch in a painful Ankle Lock for a hard-fought victory.

Vance Archer & Curt Hawkins def. MVP & JTG (PHOTOS | WATCH)
They say anything can happen on “WWE Superstars” and that was certainly true tonight as the singles match between Vance Archer and MVP erupted into a wild tag team brawl. The wildness started when the aggressive Curt Hawkins attacked The Ballin’ Superstar on the outside of the ring and JTG ran down to even the score. Although this would regularly lead to a No Contest, SmackDown General Manager Teddy Long decided to turn the match into a tag contest. Unfortunately for MVP & JTG, this decision did not work out in their favor as they were bested by the impressive young team of Archer & Hawkins.

Yoshi Tatsu def. Primo (PHOTOS | WATCH)
The heated rivalry between international standouts Yoshi Tatsu and Primo continued on “WWE Superstars” this Thursday with each young talent desperately clawing for the victory. Although they have traded wins in the past, it was the Japanese Superstar who came out on top tonight, dropping his arrogant opponent with a devastating spinning heel kick from the top rope.

    Zack Ryder def. Michael McGillicutty
    Kaval def. Husky Harris
    Kofi Kingston def. Alex Riley

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – In the most exciting and shocking week of season two competition on WWE NXT, a pair of NXT Rookies’ dreams were shattered. Just three NXT Rookies remain on the road to discovering WWE’s next breakout star!

Husky Harris eliminated (PHOTOS | WATCH)
In the final elimination of the night, NXT Rookie Husky Harris was voted out of the competition. The “Army tank with a Ferrari engine,” who was a third-generation competitor, won’t be WWE’s next breakout star – a fact his WWE Pro, “Dashing” Cody Rhodes, revealed he isn’t too pleased about. After the announcement that Harris was going home, Rhodes went on the attack, screaming at the remaining competitors, even assaulting Kaval, resulting in mayhem among the NXT Rookies and WWE Pros.

Kofi Kingston def. Alex Riley (PHOTOS | WATCH)
After his appearance on Raw the night before where he helped his WWE Pro, The Miz, attack and berate a returning Daniel Bryan, NXT Rookie Alex Riley went one-on-one against another WWE Pro, Kofi Kingston. But on WWE NXT, the Varsity Villain couldn’t bully his way to a win over for the former Intercontinental Champion. Kingston schooled the NXT Rookie, defeating him with Trouble in Paradise just moments before the night’s final live elimination. With his week 11 loss, Riley’s record dropped to 4-4.

Kaval def. Husky Harris (PHOTOS | WATCH)
NXT Rookie rivals Kaval and Husky Harris met in singles action again this week. While the “Army tank with a Ferrari engine” has defeated WWE Universe favorite Kaval in all of their past one-on-one matches, Harris wasn’t as fortunate this week. Kaval tapped into his arsenal of impressive offense to finally defeat and quiet a cocky Harris before the night’s last elimination. With his loss, Harris’ record fell to 4-4, while Kaval's improved to 3-5. (WATCH: Harris approaches Michelle McCool)

Zack Ryder def. Michael McGillicutty (PHOTOS | WATCH)
After the elimination of “Showtime” rocked the WWE Universe, the fearless Michael McGillicutty faced off with Zack Ryder in an NXT Rookie vs. WWE Pro match. McGillicutty surely impressed the WWE Pros – including his Pro, Kofi Kingston who was at ringside – with his efforts, but could not pull off a victory over The Long Island Loudmouth. Ryder sealed his opponent’s fate with a Rough Ryder.  With his week 11 loss, McGillicutty’s record fell to 6-3.

NXT Rookies Open Mic, “Showtime” Percy Watson eliminated (PHOTOS | WATCH)
In a special, live double elimination night of WWE NXT, the final five competitors had one last chance to plead their cases to the WWE Pros during the NXT Rookies Open Mic. While some of the WWE Pros were traveling in Asia, they were able to cast their absentee ballots in the NXT Poll to help determine who is one step closer to becoming WWE’s next breakout star.

After the votes of the WWE Universe were combined with those of the WWE Pros, the NXT Poll results were revealed live. The first NXT Rookie to be eliminated during week 11 of competition was “Showtime” Percy Watson!

According to a report on prowrestling.net, The Undertaker has officially been medically cleared to resume working out again.

The clearance came within the past few weeks, as Taker has been dealing with a broken orbital bone (eye socket) among other injuries he sustained in a match with Rey Mysterio a while back.

Jillian, Alicia Fox & Maryse def. Divas Champion Melina, Eve & Gail Kim
Heath Slater def. Edge by Count-out
    John Cena def. Darren Young

LOS ANGELES – When Team WWE dismantled The Nexus at SummerSlam the night before, it appeared that the sun had finally set on the seven deadly sinners. On Monday night, however, the group’s members, with the exception of one, each survived in singles competition, offering The Nexus hope that a new day may have finally dawned.

John Cena def. Darren Young (PHOTOS | WATCH)
A perfect record hung heavy on the shoulders of Darren Young. Each of his teammates from The Nexus had been victorious in their matches against Team WWE members. Now it was his turn. His obstacle, however, would prove particularly momentous. Young must face Team WWE’s de facto leader and the man who severely beat him down last month, John Cena.

Also weighing heavy on Young was the fact that were he to lose, he would be banished from The Nexus. With that in mind, the bout underwent a series of momentum shifts until, finally, Cena asserted his imposing will. The force of such a powerhouse was too much for Young to bear as he faded in defeat.

In the aftermath, The Nexus approached the ring. Although Cena prepared himself for the worst, his tormentors allowed him to leave unharmed. Instead, they circled their true target: Young. After punishing their only failed member, the remaining six members of The Nexus stood tall.

Heath Slater def. Edge by Count-out (PHOTOS | WATCH)
The similarities are undeniable. Both Heath Slater and Edge boast long, flowing locks and a penchant for rockstar style, but that’s where the comparison ends. Prior to their match, Slater attempted to convince The Rated-R Superstar to throw the match. For Edge, the request was tantamount to asking him to listen to the Jonas Brothers.

Once in the ring, the two engaged in an athletic clash of wills. At one point, the action even spilled out of the ring. As the referee continued his count, it was Slater who finally managed to dart back into the squared circle to avoid the count-out while his opponent seethed on the outside in defeat before nailing Slater with a Spear.

Jillian, Alicia Fox & Maryse def. Divas Champion Melina, Eve & Gail Kim (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Melina was clearly distracted. The newly-minted Divas Champion had teamed with Eve & Gail Kim against Alicia Fox, Jillian & Maryse, but she appeared leery of a surprise visit from co-Women’s Champions Michelle McCool & Layla. After all, the pair had ganged up on her at SummerSlam just moments after she captured the Divas Title.

The threat from Team Lay-Cool never materialized, but Melina and Gail were indeed distracted. When the Divas left the ring to battle Alicia and Maryse, Jillian took advantage and rolled up an unsuspecting Eve for the win.

David Otunga & Skip Sheffield def. John Morrison & R-Truth (PHOTOS | WATCH)
The locomotive of The Nexus continued to steam toward perfection. This time, the conductors were David Otunga & Skip Sheffield, who were tasked with derailing Team WWE’s John Morrison & R-Truth in tag team action. As the rest of The Nexus squad watched intently on a monitor in the locker room area, Otunga and Sheffield capitalized on their size and strength advantage to pull apart their opponents and retain their positions within The Nexus.

Justin Gabriel def. Randy Orton by Count-out (PHOTOS | WATCH)
The Nexus’ South African cyclone, Justin Gabriel, was scheduled to compete against Bret Hart, but Raw’s mystery GM had other ideas. Citing his animosity toward “Hit Man,” the GM instead arranged for a new opponent, Randy Orton.

The Viper appeared to have Gabriel securely wrapped in his grip when WWE Champion Sheamus paid an unannounced visit. The Celtic Warrior, who had lost by disqualification to Orton the night before, clashed outside the ring with his SummerSlam rival, handing Gabriel the win by count-out. As one might imagine, the loss did not sit well with Orton, who slithered back into the ring to RKO Gabriel. Outside the squared circle, Orton proved just as unrelenting in his counterattack on the Irishman, who also received an RKO as well as several lashes from a metal folding chair.

Michael Tarver def. Daniel Bryan (PHOTOS | WATCH)
In his first appearance on Raw since suffering a vicious beating at the hands of The Nexus, Daniel Bryan appeared determined to level his opponent, Nexus masked man Michael Tarver. Although his efforts seemed to be paying dividends, Daniel Bryan had to contend with unfinished business from the previous night.

At SummerSlam, Daniel Bryan was selected as the seventh man on Team WWE, a position The Miz felt belonged to him. As a result, the United States Champion interfered in Daniel Bryan’s bout, causing a distraction, which allowed Tarver to slide in for the win. As if he hadn’t done enough, Miz, with his NXT Rookie Alex Riley along to take notes, then drove his rival's head into the Money in the Bank briefcase.

Wade Barrett def. Chris Jericho (PHOTOS | WATCH)
In arguably his most impressive victory to date, Wade Barrett defeated his former WWE Pro Chris Jericho in convincing fashion. As leader of The Nexus, Barrett needed to secure the win to save face and motivate his troops, who had suffered a disheartening loss the night before at SummerSlam.

John Cena confronted The Nexus; Raw’s General Manager arranged The Nexus vs. Team WWE in singles matches (PHOTOS | WATCH)
There was simply no hiding from the truth. Team WWE had defeated The Nexus in their match at SummerSlam, and yet Wade Barrett was attempting to spin the crushing defeat into a rallying cry for his six disciples.

What he was serving up, though, was some weak tea – and John Cena knew it. The Team WWE founder confronted Barrett about his squad’s performance, which rankled the band of outlaws. Their pride wounded, members of The Nexus began to turn on each other, assigning blame for the defeat. The backbiting escalated until Raw’s anonymous General Manager interrupted the meltdown to announce that each member of The Nexus would face a member of Team WWE in singles competition, beginning with Barrett facing down his WWE Pro, Chris Jericho.

For the members of The Nexus, the singles matches have given them an opportunity to weed out any weaknesses. As they all agreed, any member who does not win their match is no longer in The Nexus.

Posted by Roscoe De Soto on 08/16/2010 at 11:11 PM

Matt Hardy noted on his Twitter account on Saturday that he will likely be taking some time away from the squared circle as a result of WWE’s ’stringent health and wellness policies’.

“Thx 4 everyone who has been concerned about my foot being jammed between the steel steps,” Hardy wrote. “It was bad-it felt like my foot was bein cut off. Didn’t plan to take my boot off, but I had to immediately see how bad my foot was injured. Keep in mind, it bled thru my sock & ankle tape.

“I will most likely have to miss some ring time due to WWE’s stringent health & wellness policies. I’m sorry if I do guys & gals.”

McCool wants to take a pic with Melina now but Melina pushes her down. Melina starts brawling with LayCool. Layla holds Melina’s feet while McCool kicks her in the face. They beatdown Melina and in comes Alicia Fox to assist them. They kick Melina out to the floor and taunt her some more as their music plays. McCool runs her knee into Melina’s face against the announcer’s table. Melina is laid out at ringside as LayCool head to the back.

Team WWE vs. The Nexus 7-on-7 Elimination Tag Team Match
    - John Cena, John Morrison, R-Truth, Bret Hart, Edge, Chris Jericho & ?? vs. Wade Barrett, David Otunga, Justin Gabriel, Heath Slater, Darren Young, Skip Sheffield & Michael Tarver

Nexus is shown walking to the ring, and they cut away to show a video package that shows the events leading up to this match, including the Nexus running wild all over Raw, and Cena putting together his own team. Team Nexus make their way out to the ring first, coming out as a unit. Their entrance certainly is impressive. I'll go ahead and say here that this match will probably be difficult to call, so please cut me a little slack with this one.

John Cena's music hits, and he's the first man out for Team WWE, as it looks like they'll all get separate entrances to stretch out this fairly thin PPV. He gets a big pop as he makes his way about halfway down to the ring. Edge is the next man out, and he also gets a pretty big pop. R-Truth is the next man out for Team WWE and he joins his teammates. Chris Jericho is out fourth for his team and he also gets a nice reaction from the crowd.

John Morrison is out next for his time, and surprisingly he doesn't get his usual slo-mo entrance. Bret Hart is out sixth for his team and he gets one of the biggest pops of the night. Hart definitely doesn't look like he'll be doing too much in the ring tonight though. Miz is out last foe his team, but Cena gets on the mic and says wait a second, Miz is too late. Cena says they realized how important this match was, and they couldn't wait for someone to decide the day of SS, so they found someone for the match, and it's not Miz, it's someone that hates the Nexus as much as them, it's DANIEL BRYAN! Things break down into a brawl immediately and the Nexus is thrown to the outside and DANIEL FREAKING BRYAN IS BACK.

Nexus are freaked out that Bryan is back. Bryan and Young start things off for their teams, and Bryan is able to take Young over with a kitchen sink and he follows up with a series of kicks to the back. Huge Daniel Bryan chants. And when Tarver tries to splash Truth, Truth avoids it and tags out to Morrison. Morrison hits a couple of kicks to Tarver's face and follows up with a big flash kick. Morrison connects with Starship Pain on Tarver and gets three.

Jericho knocks down Otunga with a couple of shoulder blocks before hitting a running bulldog and a giant lionsault from about 3/4 across the ring. Jericho gets Otunga in the Walls, and forces Otunga to tap.

    Otunga has been eliminated

Jericho takes it right to Heath Slater on the outside of the ring, slamming him into the announce table before sending him back into the ring and following back in with a flying elbow from the top rope. Slater dodges Jericho though and Jericho runs into Cena, knocking him from the apron. The distraction leads to a big move from Slater. Jericho is pinned.

    Jericho is eliminated

Edge and Cena try to get into the ring ant the same time and the argument leads to a roll up on Edge.

    Edge has been eliminated

Edge sends Cena off the apron and he and Jericho attack him on the outside. Barrett is back in the match and he wears away on Cena with a couple of right hands. Cena starts to fight back with a couple of right hands of his own, but he walks into a sidewalk slam from Barrett. Cena blocks a suplex from Barrett and he reverses it into a suplex of his own.

Heath Slater tags in and he prevents Cena from making the tag to Bryan. Slater sends Cena into the corner hard, taking him right down to the mat. Slater sends Cena into the opposite corner and Cena charges out both men hitting clotheslines.

Slater tries to prevent Cena from making the tag, but he's not successful. Bryan comes in and connects with a big kick to Slater, and another series of kicks in the corner to Slater. Bryan avoids Slater in the corner with a backflip and he sends Slater to the outside with a running forearm. Bryan follows out with a big suicide dive. Bryan sends Slater into the ring and follows him with a missile dropkick. Bryan takes out the Nexus, kicks out of a roll up, and locks in a crossface, forcing Slater to tap.

    Slater is eliminated

Miz comes from the back and whacks Bryan with his briefcase. Barrett steals the victory with a quick pin.

    Bryan is eliminated

Barrett goes to the outside and rolls Cena back into the ring, tagging in Gabriel.

Gabriel charges Cena in the corner, but Cena avoids him and connects with a couple of shoulder blocks before hitting a side belly to back suplex and following it up with the five knuckle shuffle. Cena tries for the AA, but Barrett makes the blind tag, coming in and stopping the AA and hitting Cena repeatedly in the head before stomping away. Barrtt and Gabriel stomp away at Cena repeatedly, making quick tags in and out, continuing to stomp at Cena. Barrett finally tags in and lets Cena get up to his feet, only to hit a big boot to send Cena to the outside. Barrett follows out quickly and Gabriel peels back some of the ringside mats.

Barrett DDT's Cena on the concrete. Barrett sends Cena back into the ring and he tags in Gabriel, telling him to go to the top. Gabriel tries for the 450, but Cena moves out of the way. Cena goes for the quick cover, and scores the three count.

    Justin Gabriel is eliminated

Barrett comes in and is quickly caught in the STF. Barrett taps out, and this one is over.

Rey Mysterio def. Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler in a Non-Title Match (PHOTOS | WATCH)
As Kane stood leering at ringside next to an open casket, Rey Mysterio used his tremendous athletic ability to counter new Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler and pick up the victory out of nowhere. Afterward, The Big Red Monster attempted to attack his SummerSlam No. 1 contender. But, the masked Superstar answered back with a fierce defense that sent the humiliated self-proclaimed “Devil’s favorite demon” flying into his own casket.

What will happen when the fury of Kane meets the determination of Rey Mysterio this Sunday? (Match preview)

MVP def. Jack Swagger (PHOTOS | WATCH)
As Jack Swagger complained to the WWE Universe about his many misfortunes over the past two months, MVP interrupted to inform the former World Champion that no one cares about his problems. Swagger responded by hitting The Ballin’ Superstar with a microphone, paving the way for a brutal attack and a match between the two Superstars. As “The All-American American” was attempting to apply his treacherous ankle lock and end things on a painful note, The Franchise Playa countered, allowing him to pick up the quick pinfall.

Drew McIntyre def. Matt Hardy (PHOTOS | WATCH)
After attempting to end Matt Hardy’s career in recent months, Drew McIntyre looked to finish the job. In a vicious rematch between the two adversaries, the ruthless “Chosen One” trapped Hardy’s ankle in between the ring steps and stomped down on the unforgiving steel. Despite being in excruciating pain, Hardy fought to continue the match. Nevertheless, his injury allowed McIntyre to execute the Future Shock DDT for the victory.

Big Show def. three local athletes (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Suffering an absolute onslaught by The Straight Edge Society two weeks ago, in which his right hand was continuously stomped upon, the furious World’s Largest Athlete returned to make a powerful statement. As The S.E.S. looked on, Big Show took out three local athletes with overwhelming force in a 3-on-1 Handicap Match. The final blow came when Big Show unleashed his devastating knockout punch, using the very arm that CM Punk and his disciplines had attacked.

Will The S.E.S be able to conquer the angry giant in a 3-on-1 Handicap Match at SummerSlam? (Match preview)

“Dashing” Cody Rhodes def. Christian  (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Two weeks ago, Drew McIntyre carried out a vicious assault on Christian, injuring his shoulder in the process. This week, after Cody Rhodes hit Captain Charisma with a thumb to the eye, the “Dashing” Superstar further injured his opponent’s shoulder by hurling him into the ring post. Rhodes then closed the door on Christian with the Cross Rhodes.

World Heavyweight Champion Kane def. Kofi Kingston (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Just 48 hours before SummerSlam, the determination of Kofi Kinston collided with the uncontrollable rage of Kane. Shortly after Kofi sustained an injury to his leg, The Big Red Monster caught him on the top rope and sent him hurling to the canvas with a derailing super chokeslam. He then turned out the lights on his prey with the tombstone.

After the bell, Kane promised to deliver vengeance onto Mysterio at SummerSlam. The Master of the 619 emerged to reaffirm his claim that Kane actually attacked The Undertaker, vowing to reclaim the World Title in two days.

Will the menacing Kane send Mysterio to his ultimate demise this Sunday at the biggest event of the summer? (Match preview)

SmackDown General Manager puts new Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler into two huge matches (PHOTOS)
After winning the Intercontinental Championship one week ago, Dolph Ziggler’s celebration was cut short with an attack from the Superstar he “stole” the title from, Kofi Kingston.

Moments later, SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long informed Ziggler that he will defend his title against Kofi Kingston at SummerSlam (Match preview). He also declared that Ziggler would face Rey Mysterio in the SmackDown main event. When SmackDown Official Consultant Vickie Guerrero insisted Kingston should have to face Kane as well, Kofi bravely welcomed the challenge.

Tonight, three title matches as well as a special surprise from Hulk Hogan!

But without further ado, let’s head to the ring for our opening match…

TV Champion AJ Styles vs Kurt Angle

For the record, this is non-title. These guys have had some awesome, awesome matches in the past, I can’t wait to see what they do here. Styles jumps Angle before the bell and tosses him to the floor, then goes out after him and continues the assault. AJ rams Angle into the apron as we see his new tattoo, but Angle catches him with an overhead belly to belly suplex out of nowhere and tosses AJ back in. Angle with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker gets 1 but AJ goes to the throat and rams Angle shoulderfirst into the ringpost, and Angle tumbles to the floor. AJ with a slingshot dive over the top onto Angle on the floor, then rolls Angle back in. Angle starts firing back and goes for a German Suplex, but Styles flips through and catches Angle with a sweet dropkick. AJ covers for 2 and then we HIT THE CHINLOCK! Angle escapes and picks the ankle, but AJ kicks him off and goes for a right, but Angle ducks and gets a back suplex and both men are down. The referee counts and Angle gets up first and starts running over AJ with clotheslines and then gets another overhead release suplex for 2. Angle ducks a right and hits the Rolling Germans and covers for 2. Angle goes for the Ankle Lock but AJ kicks him off into the corner. AJ tries a charge and gets backdropped to the apron but comes back in with a springboard forearm for 2. AJ goes for the Styles Clash but Angle backdrops out and goes for the Angle Slam and AJ escapes and hits the Pelle Kick for 2. AJ takes his time going up top and Angle runs underneath him and then hits a moonsault for 2. Wow, we don’t see that out of him very often. Angle goes for the Ankle Lock again and gets it but AJ rolls through and Angle crashes into the second turnbuckle. AJ tries another springboard from the apron but Angle shakes the top rope and AJ crashes down. Angle tries to suplex him back in but AJ escapes and hits the moonsault/deathdrop for 2. AJ argues with the ref, allowing Angle to come from behind and hit the Angle Slam for 2. Angle goes for another German Suplex and AJ tries to lowblow him with a mule kick, but Angle dodges and takes AJ down into the Ankle Lock, grapevines the leg, and AJ taps.

    Winner: Kurt Angle

Great opener! Up next, Angelina Love challenges Madison Rayne for the Knockouts Title, and we’re at commercial. Great opening segment!

Knockouts Title Match: Madison Rayne vs Angelina Love

Angelina goes after Madison but Madison hides behind the ref and cheapshots Angelina. Angelina weathers the storm and fires back, but Madison sends Angelina into the corner, blocks the foot on a charge, and just slams Angelina on the back of her head, then climbs on top of her and starts ramming the back of her head into the mat, then hits a swinging neckbreaker, straddles Angelina’s shoulders, and repeatedly humps Angelina’s head into the mat and covers for 2. Madison stops to argue with the ref about the count, then turns around into a jawbreaker from Angelina, who follows that with a series of clotheslines and then a flying variety of the clothesline. Angelina with a bicycle kick as Dumpy Ass comes down to ringside on the bike and makes her way to ringside as the crowd starts chanting “Tara” at her. The ref goes over to tell Dumpy Ass to take a hike when Velvet Sky comes running out and cracks her from behind with a chair, then pulls off the motorcycle helmet to reveal…a mask underneath. The Dark Patriot angle! Dumpy Ass hightails it as Madison nails Angelina from behind with the belt and covers for 2, then Angelina comes back with a clothesline and covers Madison for the three count and the Knockouts Title.

Winner and NEW Knockouts Champion: Angelina Love

Velvet Sky stands smirking at ringside as Madison is flat on her back in the middle of the ring and Angelina celebrates her title win.

After another commercial break, we come back for the three way match…

Ken Anderson vs Matt Morgan vs The Pope

Anderson does his usual entrance while Morgan and Pope are already in the ring. Anderson and Pope go right after Morgan and double team him, ramming him into the corner and taking turns beating him up. They wrap Morgan’s leg around the rope and attack it, and then Pope hits an STO and covers, Anderson breaks and tries his own cover, and then Pope pulls him off and tries again, and this goes on about five more times unitl Pope and Anderson have an uncomfortable staredown. Morgan breaks up the lovefest with a double goozle followed by a double clothesline that takes both men down. Morgan charges at Pope with a boot, but Pope moves and Morgan crotches himself. Pope accidentally elbows Anderson in the face as he goes to nail Morgan, but then nails Morgan anyway and sends him to the floor as Anderson kneels in the ring clutching his jaw. Pope goes to check on him and Anderson pops up and slugs him in the mouth, and they exchange blows until Anderson hits a Thesz Press and elbowdrop for 2. Anderson goes for a fireman’s carry but Pope escapes and uppercuts him, then goes for the lungblower but Anderson escapes and hits a Flatliner and goes for a cover, but Morgan breaks it up and kicks Anderson for the floor, then capitalizes and covers Pope for the three count.

    Winner: Matt Morgan

Still to come: Hulk Hogan has a special surprise, and Jeff Hardy has an open challenge, which will be answered next!

    Jeff Hardy Open Challenge

And the mystery opponent is…Shannon Moore. Hardy looks shocked, and Moore takes a mic and says that tonight is a perfect opportunity to prove he can stand at the same level as Hardy, and no matter what happens here tonight, they’re leaving as brothers. Hardy looks unimpressed, and I can’t say I blame him. They shake hands and then tie up and Hardy shoves him off. Moore goes to a wristlock, Hardy reverses to one of his own and Moore cartwheels out and reverses to a side headlock. Hardy sends Moore off into the ropes and Moore takes him down with a shoulderblock and then they exchange armdrags and do the indy standoff. Another tieup and Moore takes Hardy to the corner and rams a series of shoulders into Hardy’s midsection and then whips him across the ring, but Hardy leapfrogs over him and hits a reverse enziguiri. Moore goes to the corner and Hardy keeps trying to catch him with wild moves but Moore outruns him and Hardy misses something and sails out to the floor. Moore follows him out with a dive, then tosses Hardy back in the ring and catches him with a moonsault off the top for 2. Moore with a snap suplex for 2 and we HIT THE CHINLOCK! Hardy elbows his way out, then reverses a whip into the corner but gets backdropped to the apron. Moore tries to sunset flip Hardy to the floor, but Hardy hangs on so Moore changes position and yanks Hardy down by the ankles and Hardy crashes facefirst into the apron. Moore charges and Hardy backdrops him into the ropes, but Moore rebounds back and turns it into a tornado DDT, then rolls Hardy into the ring and covers him for 2, then goes back to the chinlock. Hardy again escapes and reverses into a short clothesline, but gets whipped to the corner. Hardy gets the feet up on a charge and hits the Whisper In The Wind for 2. Hardy with the Twist Of Fate, takes his shirt off, and goes up top for the Swanton, but Moore gets the knees up and covers for 2. Moore puts Hardy up top and tries for a top rope Frankensteiner, but Hardy holds on and Moore crashes to the mat. Hardy hits the Swanton and we have three.

    Winner: Jeff Hardy

Hardy raises Moore’s hand after the match. Still to come: the Motor City Machine Guns vs Beer Money in match five, Rob Van Dam defends the TNA World Title against Abyss, and Hulk Hogan has a special announcement!

Best Of Five Series Match Five – 2 Out Of 3 Falls: Motor City Machine Guns vs Beer Money

Storm and Sabin start and Storm goes right to the eyes and gets a wristlock, Sabin tries to escape but Roode turns it into a headlock, then they do a fast paced sequence off the ropes and then a series of pinfall attempts and then each go for a kick at the same time and catch each other’s boot…and slowly put them down and back off. The fans pop huge as Shelley and Roode tag in and the crowd starts chanting for Shelley. Roode takes Shelley to the corner and takes a cheapshot, but Shelley fires back and gets thumbed in the eyes. Shelley off the ropes and Roode tries a drop down, but Shelley elbowdrops him and then hits a flying headscissors, then unloads with a chop. Shelley comes off the ropes and Roode gets a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker for 2, then goes for an O’Connor Roll, but Shelley tags as he hits the ropes and Sabin comes in and kicks him in the face, Storm tries to come in but the MCMGs hit a fast series of double team moves that sends Storm to the floor and puts Roode down for 2. Roode recovers and tags out to Storm, who doesn’t have much luck either until Roode grabs Sabin’s ankle from the floor and allows Storm to hit a running boot to the head. Roode comes in without making a legal tag, and the ref calls him on it, but then Roode tags out to Storm. Whatever. Storm fires away on Sabin in the corner and tags back out to Roode and they hit a slam/elbowdrop/kneedrop combo for 2. Sabin starts to fight back and leapfrogs a whip into the corner then tries to make the tag, Roode grabs his ankle and tries to pull him back, but Sabin hits an enziguiri and makes the hot tag. Shelley gives Roode a Flatliner into the second turnbuckle and then bulldogs Roode as he clotheslines Storm and covers Roode for 2. Shelley with a Flatliner/DDT combo on Beer Money and covers Roode for 2. MCMGs fire Storm to the apron and Shelley comes over the top with a double stomp, then hits a springboard dropkick to send Roode to the floor and they hit stereo dives onto Beer Money. This is way more difficult to recap than you have any idea. Storm recovers and DDTs Sabin on the apron as Shelley goes up top, Roode tries to stop him but gets knocked off into the middle of the ring. Roode dodgs the double stomp and Beer Money hits a gutbuster/lungblower/DWI combo and Beer Money takes the first fall.

The second fall begins immediately and Roode starts putting the boots to Shelley and covers for 1. Tag out to Storm, who comes in and nails Shelley in the jaw with a right. Beer Money with a double suplex on Shelley and then stop to play to the crowd, but while they were wasting time Shelley made the hot tag to Sabin, who comes in with a double dropkick off the top rope. They send Storm to the floor and give Roode the double stomp/neckbreaker combo to even it up at one fall apiece.

And the third fall begins right away. Sabin goes for a punt to Roode’s head on the floor, but Roode catches the foot and yanks Sabin to the floor, then pops back in the ring and backdrops his partner onto Sabin. Shelley comes through the ropes with a sick dive, and then Roode follows that with a dive of his own and all four men are down on the floor and…wait, commercial break? Now? WHY????

After a well placed commercial for the MCMG-Beer Money double DVD, we come back to the third fall as Roode takes Sabin’s head off with a clothesline. Shelley tries to fight back, but gets popped up into a spinning uranage for 2. Roode puts the boots to Shelley in the corner and tags in Storm, and they whip Shelley across the ring and then follow him in with a pair of running clotheslines. Storm puts Shelley up top and goes for a top rope superplex, but Shelley knocks him down into the Tree Of Woe and hits the top rope double stomp. The referee starts the double count and both men tag out, and Sabin comes in with a series of running forearms to Roode, then hits a Frankensteiner out of the corner and then dropkicks Storm off the apron. Sabin with a springboard tornado DDT for 2, then Roode goes to the eyes and tags out to Storm. Beer money go for a double team but Sabin fights his way out and kicks off of Storm and then Shelley comes in and they hit a snap Carnageplex for a very close 2. MCMGs with a series of superkicks and an enziguiri to Storm, but Roode comes in and wipes out Shelley and they hit a double DDT on Sabin, then counter Shelley’s Sliced Bread #2 into a double team chinbreaker. Shelley rolls to the floor and Beer Money goes for the DWI, but Sabin escapes and Storm accidentally superkicks Roode, and the MCMGs hit the double stomp/neckbreaker combo again…and Storm kicks out! They go for it again…and this time it’s a neckbreaker/top rope splash combo, and Shelley blocks Roode as Sabin covers Storm and finally that’s enough to get the MCMGs the win. What a match!

    Winners: Motor City Machine Guns

I’ll say it right now, this is TNA Match Of The Year so far. Just unbelievable.

Still to come: Hulk Hogan’s big announcement, and up next: Rob Van Dam defends the TNA World Title against Abyss in a Stairway To Janice Match!

Stairway To Janice Match for the TNA World Title: Rob Van Dam vs Abyss

And in case you weren’t already aware, Eric Bischoff is the special referee for this match. Janice is hanging above the ring, and Abyss grabs the ladder and slides it into the ring as he makes his entrance and tries to climb up and grab Janice before RVD makes his entrance, so RVD comes running out and springboards off the top rope and kicks the ladder out from under Abyss. He climbs up and does a ten punch count in the corner, then hits a spinkick to wipe Abyss out. He folds up the ladder and rams it into the midsection of Abyss, then does it a second time. RVD with another spinkick and then he bulldogs Abyss onto the ladder and follows that up with Rolling Thunder, but Abyss moves and RVD crashes down onto the ladder. Oh, and wouldn’t you know it, we have to take another commercial break as Abyss grabs the ladder from the floor and RVD baseball slides it into his chest.

We’re back and Abyss has a ladder balanced between the ring apron and guardrail, and he and RVD are battling on the apron. Abyss goozles RVD, but RVD fights his way out and kicks him in the face, so Abyss clotheslines him over the top back into the ring. Abyss follows him in and grabs a second ladder, which he now rams into RVD’s midsection as RVD did to him earlier on, then does it a second time. Abyss balances the ladder in front of RVD in the corner and goes for a charge, but RVD tosses the ladder into Abyss’ face as he comes running in, then rams the ladder into Abyss in the corner and sets it up as a ramp, running up it to kick Abyss in the face, and then puts Abyss on top of the ladder and moonsaults onto him. RVD sets up the ladder in the corner and goes for a monkey flip on Abyss, but you knew that wasn’t going to work, and Abyss powerbombs him out of the corner. Abyss sets up the ladder in the middle of the ring and tries to climb, but takes too long and RVD climbs up the other side and they go toe to toe on the top of the ladder. Abyss goozles RVD and chokeslams him off the ladder, but loses his balance and he tumbles to the mat as well. Abyss closes the ladder again and goes to the floor, and we get replays while Abyss takes a moment to pull a bag out from under the ring, and tonight it contains…wait for it…thumbtacks! OOOOH, and it has glass in it, too! Abyss puts RVD up top and goes for a superplex, but RVD sunset flips off the top and Abyss goes crashing down ass-first on the goodies. Looks like RVD might have gotten slightly stuck, too. RVD comes off the ropes but runs right into a boot from Abyss, who goes back under the ring, and behind door #2 is…a barbed wire board! he slides that into the ring and sets it up in the corner and tries to whip RVD into it, but RVD puts on the breaks, so Abyss charges him, RVD moves, and Abyss goes running facefirst into the board. Abyss sticks to it, so RVD comes off the top and jumpkicks the board into the face of Abyss, who goes down with the board on top of him. RVD, ever the innovator, comes off the ropes and hits Rolling Thunder onto the board on top of Abyss. Yeargh. RVD sets up the ladder and goes up, but Abyss tips the ladder over, causing RVD to fall down, catch himself on the top rope, and then crash facefirst into the ladder. That looked really, really nasty. Abyss sets up the ladder and goes up…and he gets Janice. We see Dixie Carter and Terry Taylor standing in the crowd looking very concerned. Abyss shoves the ladder out of the way and goes to the floor and tosses RVD back in…right into the glass and thumbtacks. What a sadist. Abyss pounds him down in the corner and grabs Janice, and he does the YOU at RVD and swings at him, but RVD moves and Abyss sticks Janice in the top turnbuckle. While Abyss is busy trying to free her, RVD goes to the floor and grabs a chair, which he uses to massage the back of Abyss, and then tosses it to Abyss and hits the Van Daminator. Abyss is down in the corner, so he puts the barbed wire board on top of him, grabs a chair, and hits a coast to coast Van Terminator with a chair, into the board, into Abyss, and Dixie Carter is standing ringside applauding! She’s not supposed to do that! RVD goes up top and hits the Five Star Notebook Splash and covers for the hard fought win.

    Winner: Rob Van Dam

Ye gads, that was really brutal and really awesome all at the same time. Bischoff played no part whatsoever and was completely unnecessary to this match. RVD sets up the ladder in the middle of the ring and climbs up to celebrate and hold up the title to the crowd. Oh wait, Hulk Hogan’s music hits and here he comes to deliver his surprise…after this commercial break!

Okay, we’re back and Hogan is in the ring with RVD, and he says that everyone knows there’s a reason RVD is the leader of TNA, and says he’s never seen a champion like RVD, and he’s going to take the company all the way to the top. When he saw RVD take on Sabu, who Hogan considers the most dangerous man in the business, it made Hogan realize he has all the bases covered, and that’s why TNA is the #1 company in the wrestling business today. He says Hardcore Justice made TNA raise the bar, and he has to thank Dixie Carter for taking him somewhere he’s never been before. When he saw RVD in the ring with all the great athletes of EV2.0 and they taught him what hardcore was all about, his level of respect went to the top for RVD and his band of gypsies. Okay. With all that being said, Dixie Carter invited all of EV2.0 here to watch RVD’s match, and right now, Hogan would like to invite them all out to the ring. They come out led by a suit-clad Tommy Dreamer, along with Stevie Richards, Team 3D, Sabu and Fonzie, the FBI, Mick Foley, and Rhino. Hogan said that when he came to TNA, he was looking for that higher ground where even Hogan has never been before, and he says that Tommy Dreamer and his band of misfits brought TNA there, and he’s going to bow down and give them his ring, and he hands the mic to Dreamer and leaves. Dreamer says that they raised the bar on Sunday, and tonight, the MCMGs, Beer Money, RVD and Abyss showed that the bar was raised even more. Dreamer said that to keep the ball rolling, he’d like to thank Dixie Carter again, and to his friends in EV2.0, it was an honor to do it one last time and thanks them for the show they put on, and for Sunday night at Hardcore Justice, Dreamer wants to thank the fans. RVD kisses him on the cheek for added effect…but wait, the lights go out and when they come back up…Foley’s down in the ring and Fortune and Matt Morgan lay out the ECW guys! Raven runs out to try and help, but James Storm cracks him in the head with a beer bottle. The Sandman comes out of the crowd and stops to play to the fans, and AJ Styles attacks him from behind as Storm gouges Raven’s head open with a shard from the bottle. Abyss comes back out and drags RVD to the floor and tosses him into the crowd. Ric Flair comes strolling out of the back with a big smile on his face as we go backstage to a shot of Abyss, blood-covered Janice in hand, stands over Rob Van Dam, who is COVERED with blood. Flair goes over to Dixie in the crowd and yells that she brought this on herself and tries to go after he. We see shots of blood covered ECW originals as we go off the air.

Carlito comments on his firing, WWE being PG, more
Posted by Roscoe De Soto on 08/14/2010 at 01:00 PM

The following messages were posted on the Twitter page of Carlito @carlitocolon...

    WWE being PG:

"I'm wondering as fans, were any of u disappointed when the divas came out in those granny suits? I get the whole going PG thing, but WTF? Since when is a bikini not PG? Oh, and BTW all u girls looked gr8 in the granny suits...just sayin! My point is, u wanna go PG fine. But that doesn't mean wrestling has 2 be lame and cookie cutter! Make it fun again! PG from a business standpoint is actually smart. Vince is not stupid! I'm just sayin that they go a lil overboard with it at times. Sure they might b losing fans, but by being PG the big corporations are less afraid of sponsoring them, and they bring in the big $!Plus, the kids are more likely to buy the toys and merch...and we all know, if mommy approves, its all good!"

Being told Vince was stupid to let him go:

"no, vince was right 2 let me go...and I was very happy 2 go!"

Who came up with the "painting a hole in the wall" skit with Hornswoggle:

"lol, that's was more of a punishment bc I had asked 2 quit at that point."

    Bryan Danielson's firing:

"I can't really speak on that bc I don't know. It seems to me that something shady happened there. He seemed like a good kid 2 me"

    Going back to WWE:

"I'd go back anytime...but if they're not gonna use me right, I refuse to go back!"

WWE not pushing talented wrestlers, and pushing Sheamus instead:

    "I agree...but I have 2 disagree with u about sheamus. At 1st I wasn't 2 fond of him, but I believe he's stepped up his game!
His fans and his character over the last couple of years:

"I appreciate all the love people! I can't believe I still have fans! Let's face it my character was pretty lame for the past couple of years. Thanks 4 sticking by me! It really broke my heart having 2 walk through that curtain knowing the crap I had 2 go out there and do!"
"Lol, I'm not down on myself! I'm just calling it like I saw it. For the past 2 or 3 years Carlito was lame!"

Bashing WWE and being disrespectful to creative with his last comments:
"I haven't bashed the WWE, I'm thankful 4 a lot that they gave me! I'm just giving my opinion. If u don't c that, ur an idiot! that's the way I felt. In my understanding, that's an opinion. I guess I'm stupid!"

    WWE firing him:
"hey, its totally my fault I got fired! When u walk around with an I don't give a f*** attitude, its bound to happen!

    Future plans:
"I don't know what my plans are yet. I'm gonna b doing different things, just want 2 have fun again! I'm in no hurry, Carlito saved his $!

WWE Signs College Football Player to Contract
Posted by Steve Carrier on 08/14/2010 at 11:29 AM

    - Tampa Bay Online reports that WWE has signed Andrew Leavine to a developmental deal and he will report to FCW next month.

Leavine, who is 6-foot-5 and 292 pounds, spent the past four years playing football on the offensive line at Florida International University. After graduating with a degree in parks and recreation, Leavine was briefly signed to the NFL's Miami Dolphins with a few other undrafted rookies.

He also did amateur wrestling in high school and finished his senior year with a record of 33-4 and 23 pins. While in college, Leavine trained some in jiu-jitsu and other forms of MMA. He had the following to say about those skills and stepping into the world of pro wrestling:

"It helps tremendously. But at the same time, I'm walking into a whole different animal here. It's going to be a process of watching film, watching guys in front of me, like Husky Harris. It helps to watch those guys and see what I have to do to get to the next level."

Jimmy & Jey Uso def. Goldust & Yoshi Tatsu
    Chavo Guerrero def. Chris Masters
    Michelle McCool def. Kelly Kelly

Michelle McCool def. Kelly Kelly (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Accompanied by NXT season two Rookie, Kaval, and her “bestie,” Layla, the self-professed co-Women’s Champion Michelle McCool arrogantly strutted to the ring to take on the always spunky Kelly Kelly. But while she is usually the assailant, the Team Lay-Cool beauty found herself on the receiving end of a vicious attack from Kelly tonight. Pounding Michelle’s perfect face into the mat, the perky blonde showed off an aggressive side the WWE Universe has rarely seen. Kelly’s rage may have gotten the best of her, however, as McCool was able to reverse an attempted victory roll and nail a brutal Faith Breaker to claim the win.

Chavo Guerrero def. Chris Masters (PHOTOS | WATCH)
After picking up a few recent victories on “WWE Superstars,” Chavo Guerrero hit a snag last Thursday night when he lost to MVP. So the self-proclaimed “Mexican Warrior” was looking to get back on the winning track when he stepped into the ring with Chris Masters tonight. Of course, defeating a 275-pound powerhouse is easier said than done and Chavo realized this earlier as he was dominated by The Masterpiece’s pure power. In the end, however, Guerrero’s craftiness would win out as he targeted Masters’ injured ribs before nailing a huge Frog Splash to score another victory.

Jimmy & Jey Uso def. Goldust & Yoshi Tatsu (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Although they were unsuccessful in their many attempts to dethrone Unified Tag Team Champions The Hart Dynasty, the Usos have begun to regroup and regain steam with a series of impressive wins. Tonight, they continued to move back up the tag ranks with a big victory over the unique pairing of Goldust & Yoshi Tatsu. With some help from WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy Snuka’s daughter, Tamina, Jimmy & Jey were able to fend off Goldust’s veteran smarts and Tatsu’s explosive strikes to nail a big splash from the top rope for the 1-2-3.

WWE star a victim of Lady Gaga ticket scam

WWE star a victim of Lady Gaga ticket scam

The following is an article from celebrity gossip website TMZ.com:

WWE Star -- Victim in Lady Gaga Concert Scam

WWE star JTG -- formerly of the tag team Cryme Tyme -- claims some deadbeat sold him fake tickets to a Lady Gaga concert recently ... and now the perp is in for a "Brooklyn-style beatdown."

JTG -- a self-professed Gaga fanatic -- tells TMZ, he went on Craigslist.com and successfully tracked down and purchased two $125 tickets to Lady G's sold out Wednesday night show in L.A. But when he showed up to the Staples Center, the ticket lady refused to accept them ... because they were fake.

Now JTG is on the rampage, desperately trying to track down the scumbag who swindled him -- but first, he wants to make sure the bad guy gets the respect he deserves.

The wrestler tells TMZ, "Game recognize game, so I gotta respect his hustle. But when I catch him, I hope he can respect my Brooklyn-style beatdown."

JTG says he's been power dialing the Craigslist con artist ever since ... but it keeps going straight to voicemail.
