MVP & Chris Masters def. Trent Barreta & Caylen Croft
    Chavo Guerrero def. JTG
    Primo def. Yoshi Tatsu
Unified Tag Team Champions The Hart Dynasty def. The Usos

Don’t know where to catch “WWE Superstars”? Find WGN America in your area. Can't see “WWE Superstars” on WGN America in your area? Stay with WWE.com for full results, photos and video clips of all the action.

Unified Tag Team Champions The Hart Dynasty def. The Usos (PHOTOS | WATCH)
In a rematch from Money in the Bank, the Unified Tag Team Champions locked up with the impressive young duo known as The Usos. Bitter about their defeat on Sunday, Jimmy & Jey were determined to be The Hart Dynasty in their place tonight, but taking out David Hart Smith & Tyson Kidd is easier said than done. After a brutal contest that saw involvement from Tamina and Natalya, the Harts were able to connect with the Hart Attack to defeat their rivals once again.

Primo def. Yoshi Tatsu (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Yoshi Tatsu and Primo have had their share of contests on “WWE Superstars” and tonight’s battle between the two young Superstars was as hard-fought and exciting as ever. Attacking the Puerto Rican Superstar with a variety of devastating kicks, Tatsu was able to control much of the action and seemed close to victory on multiple occasions. But The Cardiac Kid’s high-risk offense got the better of him in the end when Primo managed to reverse an attempted top rope maneuver into a brutal Backstabber for the 1-2-3.

Chavo Guerrero def. JTG (PHOTOS | WATCH)
After suffering a surprising loss to Chavo Guerrero on last Thursday’s edition of “WWE Superstars,” JTG was planning on evening up the score tonight. Unfortunately for the Brooklyn Superstar, things did not go his way. Although JTG aggressively attacked his opponent, he wasn’t able to outsmart the crafty veteran. After nailing a big Frog Splash, the self-proclaimed “Mexican Warrior” picked up yet another win.

MVP & Chris Masters def. Trent Barreta & Caylen Croft (PHOTOS | WATCH)
With his NXT Rookie Percy Watson looking on from ringside, the talented MVP put on a clinic on how to succeed in WWE. Teaming with Chris Masters for the first time, the champagne popping Superstar helped silence the explosive offense of The Dudebusters before nailing the Play of the Day for the win. The eccentric Watson was thrilled with his Pro’s victory, but maybe that’s just the way he always behaves.

Former ECW star turns down TNA
Posted by Corbin Nordhoff on 07/24/2010 at 02:49 PM

Lance Storm posted the following on stormwrestling.com:

I was hoping to write a bigger article about the TNA: ECW Themed PPV, because I am getting bombarded with questions, but I've got a very busy schedule for the next week, so I'll just address this here and now.

I was asked if I would be interested in taking part in the TNA: One Last Stand PPV. I think it was big of them to extend me the offer, considering my general opinion of the TNA product, and want to I thank them for that, but I will not be taking part.

I feel it would be hypocritical of me to work the show, considering my out outspoken views of the TNA product. I have a great deal of respect for the boys who will be working the show as well as the great workers on the TNA roster, but I have no desire to be a part of the TNA creative process. As for ECW, One Night Stand in 2005 was my farewell and am content in letting sleeping dogs lie.

Heat between Vince McMahon and Shawn Michaels?

Heat between Vince McMahon and Shawn Michaels?
Posted by Roscoe De Soto on 07/22/2010 at 02:16 PM

    Credit: F4WOnline.com

It seems there might be some tension right now between WWE Chairman Vince McMahon and former WWE superstar Shawn Michaels. According to Dave Meltzer, McMahon recently made the call to have the announcers no longer mention Michaels on air and for there to be no footage of him shown on WWE television. Reports are circulating that the reasoning behind this was that Michaels was very unhappy about the Bryan Danielson situation. It's also believed that McMahon is upset that HBK decided to call time on his wrestling career, as McMahon felt there was still more years left in the tank. Michaels is said to be very distanced from having any involvement with wrestling at this point.

Henry injured during RAW match with Barrett?

Henry injured during RAW match with Barrett?

    Credit: F4WOnline.com

It's reported that WWE star Mark Henry was injured on RAW this past Monday night. The injury came when Wade Barrett awkwardly dropped Henry on his back at the end of their bout on Raw. For those who may have missed it, Barrett almost fell over when he had Henry on his shoulders to give him his finisher, and when he dropped him to the mat, Henry landed hard on his shoulder and back. It is unknown at this time how serious the injury to Henry is, but it is serious enough that he had to miss the following night's NXT taping.

Latest news on the ECW storyline and Paul Heyman

Latest news on the ECW storyline and Paul Heyman
Posted by Corbin Nordhoff on 07/22/2010 at 04:57 PM

    Credit: F4WOnline.com

Sources indicate that in a recent meeting with TNA President Dixie Carter, Paul Heyman emphasized he didn’t believe in drastic changes, bur rather the way to go is with new talent as the key stars while using a few veterans to give them credibility, not unlike how he used Terry Funk in the original ECW. Ironically, Heyman did not support the idea of an ECW invasion when it was brought up, yet Carter went ahead and did it anyway, plugging Tommy Dreamer into the role that essentially would have belonged to Heyman (both on-screen and behind the scenes).

Heyman is also said to have told Carter to her face that of the older legends they have under contract, she could keep one and get rid of the others, and she didn’t seem to understand why. Carter has been loyal to the stars of the past and has been resistant to giving anyone the authority to hire or fire people. This includes Vince Russo and even Jim Ross, back when they were making a serious play for him.

While the Heyman deal is cold, it is nowhere close to being dead. TNA sees Heyman’s asking for points in the company as merely a negotiating tactic and is still hopeful a deal can be reached.

TNA Xplosion Report – Friday 09/07/2010

By Raymond Mullan of TNA UK

Broadcast Friday 09/07/2010 at 9pm on the Extreme Sports Channel (UK)

    Commentators: Jeremy Borash & Taz

    TNA Xplosion Intro

Jeremy Borash and the “Human Suplex Machine” Taz welcome us to the show. Things are heating up as we get closer to Victory Road 2010. Taz says tonight we have a couple of hot matches as Rosie Lottalove takes on Taylor Wilde and Magnus takes on one half of Generation Me – Max Buck in the  main event. JB discusses Magnus attacking Rob Terry on last weeks show, we attempt to get an explanation as we join Magnus backstage.

Magnus is sitting on a bench in the locker room. He says  he dosen’t need to explain his actions to anybody, but if someone wants to know they should see it for themselves. He brought Rob Terry into TNA and now he needs to learn his place again, and thats below Magnus in the food chain. Thats why he attacked Terry last week and it’s why he’s going to take his global title from him.

He goes on to say if anybody is the face of TNA UK (did we just get a mention on Xplosion?) its him and when you talk about “Global”, well he’s a global star which is why he should be the Global champion. If Rob knows what’s good for him he’ll accept the challenge because if he doesn’t he’ll  be in a world of trouble until he does accept. The sooner he deals with it the quicker he can move on. Tonight Rob will get a little taste of what’s in store when he literally wipes the mat with Max Buck.

Next up its time for TNA REWIND as we take a look back at what happened on iMPACT! between “The Monster” Abyss and “The Charismatic Enigma” Jeff Hardy….

TNA REWIND: Highlights from Abyss vs Jeff Hardy with RVD as special guest referee on this past week’s episode of TNA iMPACT!

Max Buck is backstage in front of the kick-ass TNA logo wall. Says he’s got a opportunity tonight to show the whole TNA world what he’s capable of against a giant like Magnus. Says Generation Me have been showing TNA what their capable of since they got here. They stole the show at Destination X against the Machine Guns. Tonight, its no different, he’s going to go out there and show what he’s capable of. Says Magnus is a big beast of a guys, he may be smaller but he’s quicker and more athletic and Magnus won’t know where he’s coming from. Jeremy Buck enters on screen to tell Max he’s up soon and wishes him good luck.

We join Rosie Lottalove backstage, she’s draped over a red couch and with questionable porno-esque music playing in the background. This….is…just…..wrong! Rosie says she is the plus sized pin-up of the knockouts division. But just because she’s pretty doesn’t mean she can’t pack a punch. Says she plans on being Knockouts champ very soon. Says her bout with Taylor Wilde tonight should be interesting as she’s a former champ and is small and agile, but Rosie is smart and she will catch her. Says Taylor can expect the same thing from Rosie that everyone else does and thats “A whole lotta Rosie!!” Gotta admit her catchphrase is cool.

We join Taylor Wilde who is sitting on the floor of the Knockouts locker room. Says she and Sarita were partners and now after what happened she dosen’t know where to go from here, its a whole new world but she’s ready for it.

We take a quick look back at Sarita and Taylor’s backstage brawl at last week’s iMPACT!

We rejoin Taylor in the locker room. Says she can’t stop thinking about Sarita and how they are no longer tag-partners nor friends and they’ve been beating the ever lasting piss outta each other for god knows how long. Says she’s got a lot of frustrations right now and Rosie Lottalove is going to be on the other side of that tonight. Taylor is worried about settling the score with Sarita, she was supposed to be her friend and can’t understand why she’s doing this. Taylor says its no longer about business, its about her (Sarita’s) sanity!

We cut to the back and see Sarita entering the building. A cameraman tells her she’s not scheduled to be here on Xplosion tonight and asks why she is here. Sarita tells him to get the camera out of her face and not to worry about why she’s here, he’ll find out soon!……i smell a screwjob finish!!

Post-Match Magnus gets the mic. Says he’s still waiting for an answer from Rob Terry, tells him to get out here now because he wants an answer. Here comes Big Rob, shirtless as ever, i mean WHO WALKS AROUND LIKE THAT?? Magnus says what’s it to be? He wants an answer, yes or no? Rob is mute. Magnus says ok he sees he’s going to have to do this the old fashioned way, attempts a punch but Rob ducks out and hits the FREAKBUSTER!!! TNA Xplosion Report – Friday 02/07/2010

By Raymond Mullan of TNA UK

Broadcast Friday 02/07/2010 at 9pm on the Extreme Sports ChannelCommentators: Jeremy Borash & Taz

    TNA Xplosion Intro

We join Jeremy Borash and Taz who welcome us to the show. JB informs us that the feedback for the new and improved Xplosion show has been great, people loving the added action and tonight there’s more as we will see the fallout of last weeks show with Daffney taking on Sarita in Knockouts action as well as Rob Terry defending his TNA Global Heaveyweight Championship against Homicide.

We join Homicide backstage. Homicide says he heard Big Rob Terry made an open challenge and guess who just became the Ben Johnson of TNA – that’s him the 187. He says he never liked Rob when they were together in world elite, Rob was just a “doofball”, a big Jeffrey from Toys R Us! (…..at least its an original put down i guess) Tonight he becomes the TNA Global Campeón cos the Freak is going down!

TNA REWIND: We look back at highlights from the Abyss v Mr. Anderson falls count anywhere, no dq main event from last weeks iMPACT!

We catch up with Sarita. Sarita says last week her partner Taylor took out Daffney and this week it’s her turnand she’s more than ready. She then does that weird hand gesture…..god i hate you Sarita!!!

We join her opponent Daffney, she says last week “Sarita the Cheata” got into her business, so this week she IS her business and she feels sorry for her because tonight Daffney is feeling a little CRAZY! God i love Daffney! they better not job her to Sarita.

We join TNA Global Champ “The Freak” Rob Terry. Tonight Rob says he defends the title for the first time on Xposion, he hopes Homicide brings his best cos he’s going to need it!

    Commercial Break

We return with TNA REWIND: We look back at the Jarrett v Sting ambush from last weeks iMPACT!

Hype for Daffney v Sarita plus later in the show TNA REWIND looks at how far Ric Flair will go to get even with Jay Lethal.

We are in the Knockouts locker room with Taylor Wilde and Sarita. Taylor wants to know what the hell Sarita was thinking interfering in her match last week and asks if she was trying to prove something. Sarita says she was thinking about winning a match for once!  Taylor says tonight is Sarita’s match Taylor is not getting involved and is staying here in the back, that seems to be fine with Sarita.

TNA REWIND: We look back at the Kazarian vs Jay Lethal match and the post match beat down of Lethal’s brother by Ric Flair and AJ Styles.

    Commercial Break

We are back with more TNA REWIND as we look back at Matt Morgan’s interview from iMPACT! Strangely they cut the segment where he injures Homicide, likely because Homicide is up soon in the Main Event here on Xplosion, i thought they’d write Homicide out and put Magnus in instead, i guess not.

    Knockouts action time guys!

Kicks from Daffney, runs at Sarita and attempts a knee lift
But Sarita moves and Daffney hits the mat, she’s selling the knee
Sarita starts working on the injured knee of Daffney
Daffney limping, selling the injury very well
Sarita attempts a figure four leg lock but Daffney kicks her off into the turnbuckle!
    Clothesline from Daffney

Daffney reveres into a small package for a 1…..2…..3!!! Yes!
    Winner: Daffney
Post match Sarita starts a beat down on Daffney, heel turn coming people!
Taylor Wilde runs from the back and pull Sarita off, aswell as inadvertently removing her top exposing her bra! lol!
They argue, as Daffney gets to her feet and starts a beat down on both of them, Sarita flees to the outside and pulls Taylor out with her, they argue their way to the back
Hype for Rob Terry vs Homicide in the Main Event

Backstage we join Daffney for a post match interview. Daffney says she is so out of her mind right now and if Taylor and Sarita want to play, next week their gonna have a tag match and they won’t know who her partner is.

    Main Event time on Xplosion!

Match 2: TNA Global Heaveyweight Championship – “The Freak” Rob Terry (C) vs Homicide

Rob goes for the lockup but Homicide ducks and hits him with a right
Rob tries again and again Homicide ducks it and hits him with a vicious right hand
    Terry getting angry now
Chases Homicide but he flees to the outside
Back in the ring and more rights from Homicide
Runs at Rob Terry but he catches him and powerslams him
    And again
Picks him up  and carrys him across the ring, Homicide screaming for Terry to let him down, Terry powerslams him
Gorrilla Press from Rob Terry! Haven’t seen that in a while, impressive
To the corner, Terry beals Homicide across the ring
    Some audible chops from Homicide
Grinds Terrys face across the ropes for some rope burn
In the corner, Homicide on top with some punches as the crowd counts
Homicide to the top on the other side, clothesline from the top but Terry stays up
Tries a suplex but he can’t get him lifted, Big Rob reverses with a vertical suplex of his own!
Homicide on his knees begging RT to stop, but catches him with a sneaky eye rake
Punches and uppercuts from Homicide but getting the no sell from big Rob
Off the ropes but eats a back body drop
    Sidewalk slam by Terry
Whips homicide off the ropes and hits a spin kick
Hulk up by Terry as he’s signals its time for the freakbuster
And he hits it!! Lights out!
    Winner: Rob Terry
Terry celebrates post match but Magnus comes out of the crowd and hits a kneckbreaker on Terry.
Magnus poses with the belt, then throws it on top of Terry and leaves as we fade out
Another solid show, hopefully we get Magnus v Terry next week. Praying that this is a Taylor Wilde v Sarita split up in the works, Taylor is so damn talented she really should be competing at the top of the knockouts division, hopefully this is a start. Until next week guys, i’m out!

    NXT Taping Results - July 20, 2010
Posted by Steve Carrier on 07/20/2010 at 08:33 PM

A video of Tribute to the Troops: Iraq 2009 was shown while the stage crew setup the ring for NXT. NXT began as Josh Matthews and Michael Cole came to the announce table. Nathan wrote, "If you want to know how close I am, just look for my friend's 'Larry, wish you were here sign' behind the announce table."

Cole and Matthews begin the show as Striker runs through the obstacle course for later on in the show.

MVP was in the ring for the VIP lounge setup as Percy Watson came to the ring. They talked about respect. Striker came to the ring and asked Percy why he should be No. 1 in the poll.

Cody Rhodes and Husky Harris come out next to answer the same question. I couldn't hear the answer due to a lot of "You Suck!" chants. Striker announced that a match between the two teams would be next.

The pros are at the top of the stage.

    1. Cody Rhodes and Husky Harris defeated MVP and Percy Watson. Harris got the pin for his team.

Striker came to the ring to give Lucky Cannon and Alex Riley the same question as everyone else. To sum up what Lucky Cannon said, "I'm not going to waste your time.... Thank you." Riley cut a great promo followed by the Miz. Those two are great on the mic.

A recap was shown before the match of Mark Henry's loss to Wade Barrett on Monday Raw.

    2. Alex Riley (w/Miz) defeated Lucky Cannon. Mark Henry was not in Cannon's corner. Lucky Cannon took the early advantage. He threw Riley to the ropes and clotheslined him. He went to the top rope and dove off only for Riley to move out of the way.

Riley took the advantage on Cannon by putting him on his shoulders and then giving him a neckbreaker for the pinfall. After Riley got the win, Miz hit Cannon with the Skull Crushing Finale on the Money in the Bank briefcase.

Striker asked Eli cottonwood and John Morrison the same question. Eli Cottonwood looks like a beast. He intimidated Striker by getting up in his face asking him who will he vote for.

LayCool and Kaval were asked the same question. Kaval said that the ball is in the court of the WWE Universe. The obstacle course is up next.

The obstacle course took place with the person with the fastest time earning immunity From elimination. Michael McGillicutty was up first with 26.7 sec. Alex Riley was next with 40.3 seconds and was disqualified. Eli Cottonwood got 37.2 seconds but was also disqualified.

Lucky Cannon got it in 28.2 sec. Kaval was next with 29.1 sec. Percy Watson got through it in 31.5 seconds. Husky Harris went last and got 50.3 seconds. Husky knocked down the third hurdle. I guess he thought he couldn't make it. McGillicutty won the competition and is immune from elimination next week.

    This concluded the NXT taping.

Report: WWE newcomer already getting heat

WWE newcomer Alberto Del Rio has already developed a negative reputation among those in the locker room. He has complained to fellow wrestlers about the company’s decision to remove the mask he famously wore for a number of years in Mexico. Many in the locker room feel he should be thrilled with the push WWE officials have given him thus far rather than complaining about issues with creative.

    UITSLAGEN TNA 15 JULI
Klik op de afbeelding om de link te volgen

    - Thanks to Craig for sending us live spoilers from last night’s TNA tapings in Orlando:

    Xplosion:

    * It looks like TNA is starting the new Xplosion tonight as Taz and JB are out for commentary. The set is cool, not as lit up as iMPACT normally is.

    * Suicide defeated Eric Young.

    * Orlando Jordan beat Homicide with a choke.

    iMPACT:

    * Abyss opens the show and has some kind of red meat on his board of nails. Abyss calls it his girl and named the board Janice. Abyss starts hitting the mat with the board as the fans chant for Rob Van Dam. He cuts a promo on RVD.

    * Taylor Wilde and Sarita start brawling backstage and make their way to ringside for a match it looks like. Taylor tosses Sarita into the crowd and chokes her out with a strap for the win. Good stuff here.

    * Kevin Nash talks to Miss Tessmacher backstage.

    * Brian Kendrick defeats Douglas Williams by submission. I think this was non-title. After the match Kevin Nash came out and chokeslammed Kendrick.

    * Nash demands that Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff give him more TV time. Nash is going to make an example out of Kendrick until Jeff Jarrett comes out and tells him to calm down. Jarrett says Nash cares about the money only. Jarrett says Nash got it or something. Nash walks off and leaves Jeff in the ring.

    * Samoa Joe beats Rob Terry and Desmond Wolfe in a three-way after making Wolfe submit. Good match here. Chelsea was upset at the end and stormed off ahead of Wolfe.

    * A Best of 5 will take place between Tag Champs Motor City Machineguns and Beer Money. A contract is there to be grabbed and it appears that’s the only way to win. James Storm cuts a promo before the match and says they’re tired of getting screwed. Awesome start to the match here. This one is a ladder match. Beer Money wins when Storm uses a beer bottle.

    * The Pope defeated Matt Morgan in a rather dull match. Morgan went for the kick against the ringpost after the match but Mr. Anderson made the save. Anderson tried to shake hands with Pope but Pope wouldn’t.

    * There’s a backstage segment with the Beautiful People. Velvet storms off for some reason. I couldn’t hear it.

    * Madison Rayne comes out for a promo. She’s not happy about the referee’s decision of taking her title at Victory Road. Rayne threatens to sue TNA. Velvet Sky and Lacey Von Erich come out and ask why Madison got the motorcycle chick to help without asking them first. Velvet and Rayne get into it when Angelina Love comes out. Angelina accuses Velvet of being the motorcycle rider. Angelina and Madison brawl when the bike rider arrives again. She helps Madison beat Angelina up and they leave together.

    * Jeff Hardy beats Jay Lethal with a Swanton Bomb. My favorite match of the night. The ECW originals arrived during this match.

    * Ric Flair comes out to end the show with AJ Styles and Kazarian. Flair says Victory Road sucked for him and announces them as the first two members of Fortune. Desmond Wolfe comes out to protest. Abyss comes out and everyone leaves. He calls out RVD. Abyss talks about “them” and says “they” want the TNA Title from RVD. Abyss and RVD will have an Extreme Rules match at Hard Justice with his nail board hanging above the ring. They start brawling. Ink Inc. tries to come help RVD but they can’t. Rhino, Tommy Dreamer, Raven and Stevie Richards hop the rail and Mick Foley appears at the ramp. They come down and attack Abyss to make the save for RVD. TNA officials and wrestlers hit the ring and it’s chaos. People like Devon Dudley and Al Snow side with the ECW guys. It’s an ECW vs. TNA brawl. Dixie Carter is trying to stop it all. The show ends with the ECW guys and Foley getting the upperhand.
