Playboy publishes nude photos of current WWE Diva

Playboy publishes nude photos of current WWE Diva
Posted by Roscoe De Soto on 07/11/2010 at 12:36 PM

Playboy’s “Cyber Club” has published nude photographs of Maryse (under her real name, Maryse Ouellet). Furthermore, her image is being used to advertise the pictorial. However, it should be noted that the photos were taken several years ago ago, before she joined WWE. While WWE is not partnering with Playboy, the adult entertainment company owns the rights to the photos and thus able to publish and promote the photos at its discretion.

    Latest on the Hogan/Bischoff/Heyman situation

    Latest on the Hogan/Bischoff/Heyman situation
Posted by Corbin Nordhoff on 07/12/2010 at 06:05 PM

    Credit: PWInsider.com

Eric Bischoff publicly stated that he would not be at the Victory Road PPV, but some say that he stayed home as a way to "make a point to Dixie Carter" in regards to rumors that Paul Heyman is coming in. Some feel that Hogan also stayed home as a way to "distance himself from TNA if and when Heyman comes in." The reported reason for Hogan missing the PPV was that he is still recovering from recent surgery.

It is believed that Hogan and Bischoff are contracted to TNA through the end of 2010.

According to a source, talks between Paul Heyman and TNA are still ongoing and that he could be coming in soon to oversee a complete makeover of the company roster and TNA's front office. As of this writing, nothing has been signed between Heyman and TNA, but the word is that the two sides are "closer to a deal than they are letting on."

    Victory Road Pay-Per-View Results
    - Ultimate X Match: Douglas Williams retained the X Division Championship over Kendrick. It was a back-and-forth bout, with both superstars focusing on getting the submission win, especially Kendrick. At one point when both superstars were hanging from the cables and fell, Kendrick came down awkwardly and hurt himself. This allowed Williams to put Kendrick in the Cobra Clutch, and Kendrick was unable to answer the referee. After the bout, TNA officials had to use smelling salts on Kendrick.

    - Brother Ray defeated Jesse Neal and Brother Devon - prior to the bout, someone (presumably Brother Ray) locked Brother Devon in his locker room. It was a brawl between Ray and Jesse. Raven, Richards, Rhino and Tommy Dreamer came out during the bout to watch. When Ray tried to bring a chair in, Shannon Moore came out to try to help, but the referee stopped him, allowing Ray to crack Jesse with it. However, Devon eventually escaped and hit the ring and traded punches with his longtime partner. However, Jesse hit his tackle on Devon, allowing Ray the opening to get the pin and the win on Jesse. After the bout, Ray left on his own leaving Devon and Jesse in the ring.

    - Knockouts Title Match: Angelina Love defeated Knockouts Champion Madison Rayne by DQ when a mysterious figure attacked Love AND the referee during the bout, resulting in Love becoming the NEW Knockouts Champion! After Love was awarded the gold, Rayne got on the motorcycle with the mystery person and rode out of the arena.Love is now the first-ever four time Knockouts Champion!

    - AJ Styles and Kazarian defeated TNA Global Champion Rob Terry and Samoa Joe - AJ and Kazarian realized they had to work together in order to win and get entry into Ric Flair's "Fortune" alliance. They had the advantage for much of the bout until Samoa Joe hit a devastating urinagi on Styles, allowing Rob Terry to tag in. The Global Champion annihilated Styles and Kazarian with power moves. Samoa Joe set up Kazarian for the muscle Buster, but Desmond Wolfe came out to hold Joe's leg and block the move. With Joe distracted, AJ and Kazarian hit a flying elbow, flying legdrop and a 450 splash on Terry to get the pin and the win! After the bout, Wolfe came into the celebrate with AJ and Kazarian, but they left the ring - allowing Samoa Joe to get his revenge on Wolfe by hitting the muscle Buster!

    - Steel Cage Match: Hernandez defeated "The Blueprint" Matt Morgan - Morgan had the chance to escape several times, but chose to continue to beat on Hernandez. Hernandez came back and tried to hit his Border Toss on Morgan, but was unsuccessful. Hernandez then went all-in and attempted a high-risk jump off the top of the cage on his nemesis, but missed. Morgan then handcuffed Hernandez to the cage and tried to climb over. However, Hernandez broke free and jumped through the ropes and through the cage door to beat Morgan to the outside for the win!

    - In the greatest Jay Lethal defeated "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair by making Flair tap out to his own Figure Four leglock! Flair went in extremely cocky and went to work on hurting Lethal's leg. However, Lethal refused to give up when Flair locked it in. Later, Lethal managed to lock Flair in his own move, and this time "The Nature Boy" tapped out in a historic moment! After the bout, Lethal grabbed the mic and told the world the win was dedicated to his mother.

    - Tag Team Title: The Motor City Machineguns defeated Beer Money to claim their first TNA World Tag Team Championship reign! Late in the bout, referee Brian Hebner was blinded by James Storm spitting beer, resulting in his father Earl Hebner coming in to help. Later, both referees registered a double-pin, resulting on a controversial ending. However, Earl Hebner restarted the bout - allowing the Machineguns to regain control and get the pin on James Storm after a top rope double-team move to claim the gold!

    - #10 Contender Kurt Angle defeated #8 contender, The Pope - both superstars showed respect towards each other throughout the bout. Late in the bout, Angle hit the Angle Slam and locked on the Ankle Lock. Pope tried to reverse it, but Angle latched it back in and forced Dinero to tap out! Great match and very physical. After the bout, Angle helped Dinero to his feet and the two superstars briefly hugged before the Olympian left to celebrate.

    - TNA World Title: Rob Van Dam successfully defend the gold against Jeff Hardy, Abyss and Mr. Anderson. Early on, all four superstars had pinfalls, but were all broken up by each other. Late in the bout, Hardy and Anderson started to go at it. Hardy managed to hit his swanton finisher on Anderson, but Abyss came into the ring and chokeslammed Hardy on top of Anderson! Then, Rob Van Dam jumped on the top rope and hit the Frog Splash on top of Abyss, pinning the pile of superstars to retain the TNA World Heavyweight Title! After the bout, Abyss attacked RVD and brought in his 2-x4 with the nails, but RVD quickly escaped and left the ring to celebrate as the Pay-Per-View went off the air!

Big Show vs. Jack Swagger (Double Count-out)

ATLANTA – An incensed Big Show made it his personal mission to punish Jack Swagger for his unrelenting attacks perpetrated both on himself and on World Champion Rey Mysterio. Though “The All-American American” ultimately escaped the wrath of his gigantic attacker, he soon found that he could not elude the uncontrollable fury of Kane.

Big Show vs. Jack Swagger ended in a Double Count-out (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Big Show went into his rematch with Jack Swagger seeking major retribution – both for the ankle lock he suffered during their match two weeks ago and for two separate ankle attacks that Swagger carried out on World Champion Rey Mysterio. In the culmination of his brutal onslaught on “The All-American American,” The World’s Largest Athlete ignored the official’s count, chasing Swagger outside the ring and up to the top of the steel ramp. However, once cornered, Swagger used quick thinking to turn things around, carrying out another swift assault on Big Show’s ankle before making his escape.

However, as Swagger made his hasty exit, he was suddenly snatched up by the irate Kane. The Big Red Monster dragged Swagger into a horrific-looking room, accusing his prey of attacking The Undertaker over Memorial Day Weekend. Next week, Swagger must prove his innocence or suffer the full rage of the frightening Superstar. (WATCH)

Team Lay-Cool attacked No. 1 Contender Kelly Kelly
Moments after the WWE Universe learned that Kelly Kelly will challenge Layla for the Women’s Championship at Money in the Bank (Match preview), the dynamic Diva was attacked by the Women’s Champion and the self-professed “co-Women’s Champion” Michelle McCool.

“Dashing” Cody Rhodes def. JTG (PHOTOS | WATCH)
In his hometown of Atlanta, Cody Rhodes overcame JTG in a hard-fought battle. The handsome Superstar proved he’s not just another pretty face, hitting the devastating Cross Rhodes to silence his electrifying opponent.

CM Punk forgave Serena; Luke Gallows walked out(PHOTOS | WATCH)
Though CM Punk chose to forgive his Straight Edge Society disciple Serena for disobeying him one week ago – when she revealed footage of her falling off the wagon to stop Kane’s attack on The S.E.S. – Luke Gallows refused to follow suit. Though Punk overrode his objections, the “Sin-Free Soldier’s” defiance was noticeable when he walked out on his fellow Society members.

Drew McIntyre def. Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston in a Non-Title Match to qualify for the SmackDown Money in the Bank Ladder Match
    (PHOTOS | WATCH)
After ramming Kofi Kingston into the unforgiving steel ring cables, Drew McIntytre hit the Future Shock DDT to triumph over the Intercontinental Champion and claim the final spot in the SmackDown Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

Curt Hawkins & Vance Archer def. Matt Hardy & Christian  (PHOTOS | WATCH)
After Christian stunned the WWE Universe by throwing Matt Hardy over the top rope and out onto the hard floor – payback for Hardy attacking him on “The Peep Show” last week – Hawkins & Archer quickly capitalized on the opponents’ tag team disintegration. As Captain Charisma made his premature departure, Archer slammed Hardy to the canvas, setting Hawkins up for the “Heat-Seeking Elbow” and the victory.

Jack Swagger assaulted World Champion Rey Mysterio (WATCH)
While Rey Mysterio was still recovering from Jack Swagger’s assault one week ago, “The All-American American” burst into the trainer’s room and once again locked in his ruthless ankle lock. After dragging his Money in the Bank adversary all the way down the hallway, Swagger presented the broken Mysterio to the WWE Universe. By the time, Big Show came to the aid of The Master of the 619, the damage had already been done.

Dolph Ziggler qualified for the SmackDown Money in the Bank Ladder Match (PHOTOS | WATCH)
In a whirlwind Triple Threat Match against Chavo Guerrero and Dolph Ziggler, MVP seemed close to victory after hitting the Play of the Day on the self-proclaimed “Mexican Warrior.” However, before the official could count to three, SmackDown Official Consultant Vickie Guerrero yanked him out of the ring. As The Franchise Playa disputed her actions, Dolph Ziggler locked in the sleeper hold to score the huge victory and qualify for the Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

Drew McIntyre apologized to SmackDown GM Theodore Long: Teddy got payback (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Drew McIntyre returned from Scotland with his citizenship issues resolved, only to find his “meal ticket” Mr. McMahon was still out of action. Theodore Long wasted no time getting retribution for the humiliating treatment he suffered at the hands of McIntyre several weeks ago. To the delight of the WWE Universe, he made the “Chosen One” get on his hands and knees and beg the GM for an opportunity to compete in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Only then did Long inform McIntyre that in order for him to qualify, he would have to defeat Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston.

It's expected that he will be out of action for several months, which means he probably won't be able to make his scheduled return at Summerslam.

    WWE High on Husky Harris

    - Several people are raving about NXT 2 Rookie Husky Harris, the son of WWE Hall of Famer Mike "IRS" Rotundo, even though they don't like his name. The comparison has been made of him being like a young Dusty Rhodes, in the sense that he has a bad looking body but he's quick and athletic. Husky is considered by many as the standout of this NXT season and has a lot of supporters within the company.

    Vince bant de flair chops

    File:HBK-and-Flair-backhand-chops.jpg
    - The recent reports that Vince McMahon has banned "Ric Flair chops" are almost true. Sources say that the chops were actually banned after Shawn Michaels retired and before that, they were banned for everyone except for Michaels. McMahon does have a problem with the "Whooo" reactions that the chops get from fans. Yoshi Tatsu, who may not have gotten the word, did the Flair chops before RAW in Nashville this week and they got the same reaction from fans.

Carlito talks about not being happy in WWE
Posted by Roscoe De Soto on 07/06/2010 at 09:31 PM

Thanks to Mike Aldren of the Wrestling Globe Newsletter for the following recap:

Carlito did an interview with Arda Ocal on the Right After Wrestling radio show. He talked about suffering from depression blamed on being miserable while working for WWE mostly during the past three years. He said he had no qualms about his release because he had asked repeatedly to be let go for a long time. He said he was frustrated creatively and felt he was held back because he spoke his mind and didn't play politics. He said he loves the business and still has a passion for it, but working here drained that passion out of him. He noted that he's looking forward to working some upcoming indy shows and having fun again. He said he wants to apologise to anyone he may have upset over the past three years because he was in a dark place in his life.

After retaining the Divas Title, Alicia Fox gave a good snub to the crowd when the lights went down. She walked without a limp and taunted the crowd with the belt.

Women’s Champion Layla & Michelle McCool def. Kelly Kelly & Tiffany (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Kelly Kelly has scored victories over Layla and Michelle McCool in recent weeks, but tonight she took on both of the self-proclaimed co-Women’s Champions with her pal Tiffany watching her back. As expected, both the SmackDown beauties brought all of their spunk and athleticism to the ring, but Team Lay-Cool’s mean streak was too much for the beautiful Divas to overcome. With the referee distracted, McCool illegally nailed Kelly with a brutal kick to the head, allowing Layla to score a tainted victory for Simply Flawless.

Chris Masters def. Caylen Croft in a Master Lock Challenge (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Few Superstars have been able to break Chris Masters’ punishing Master Lock, but that didn’t stop SmackDown’s Caylen Croft from stepping up to the Master Lock Challenge. After taking a seat in the middle of the ring, Croft was willfully placed in The Masterpiece’s devastating hold and struggled to get out to no avail. Although Masters was declared the victory, he had little time to celebrate as he was attacked by Croft’s partner, Trent Barreta, and stomped by both men.

Zack Ryder def. Goldust (PHOTOS | WATCH)
It’s been a good summer for Zack Ryder. The beaches are filled with beautiful women, the hot Long Island sun has given him a perfect tan and he has picked up a string of nice victories on “WWE Superstars.” Tonight was no different for the spiky haired Superstar as he nailed the bizarre Goldust with a Rough Ryder to score a big victory.

Yoshi Tatsu & Gail Kim def. Primo & Jillian (PHOTOS | WATCH)
With both Superstars and Divas competing in the same bout, tonight’s Mixed Tag Team Match had all the makings of a wild encounter. But when the gorgeous Bella Twins were introduced as the Special Guest Referees, the WWE Universe knew they were getting a contest they wouldn’t forget. Of course, after being defeated by both Bella sisters in recent weeks, Jillian was the only person in the arena who wasn’t happy about the beautiful officials. The tone-deaf Diva showed how upset she was as she viciously battered Gail Kim, but her anger got the better of her when she attacked Nikki & Brie. With her attention off her opponent, Jillian was rolled up by Gail for the 1-2-3.
