    Ted DiBiase def. John Morrison
Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov def. William Regal & The Great Khali
United States Champion The Miz vs. R-Truth ended in a No Contest
Evan Bourne & Randy Orton def. Edge & Chris Jericho
Divas Champion Alicia Fox def. Eve

NASHVILLE – During The Nexus’ reign of terror, the band of bothers have focused their attacks, managing not to involve the entire Raw roster. This week, however, their actions managed to drag nearly every Raw Superstar into their wicked wake.

During “truce” handshake, John Cena retaliated against Wade Barrett and The Nexus; mystery GM arranged Cena vs. The Nexus in 7-on-1 Handicap Match next week (PHOTOS | WATCH)
John Cena is nothing if not a man of his word. That being the case, the seven-time WWE Champion showed up in the ring, as ordered by Raw’s mystery GM, to commence a truce ceremony with The Nexus’s de facto leader, Wade Barrett. While the Brit tried to assure his rival that his group’s attacks weren’t personal, Cena remained understandably skeptical.

But Barrett offered his hand to seal the truce, and Cena finally accepted. When The Nexus boss attempted to pull away, however, he quickly found himself angling for an Attitude Adjustment. Before Cena could lower the guillotine, though, he was attacked by The Nexus’ remaining six members. Just then, Cena’s pals rolled in for the rescue, including Mark Henry, David Hart Smith, Tyson Kidd, John Morrison, Evan Bourne, Goldust, Yoshi Tatsu, Santino Marella, Vladimir Kozlov and The Great Khali.

The Nexus escaped, though, except for Darren Young, who suffered an STF at the hands of Cena. As a means of punishment, the mystery GM is forcing Cena to face The Nexus next week in a 7-on-1 Handicap Match.

Randy Orton to take on Edge next week
Per the mystery General Manager, scorching rivals Randy Orton and Edge must face each other in singles action next Monday Night. The match will take place less than a week before the pair tangle above the ring during Raw’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

Perhaps “America’s Mom” Florence Henderson can restore peace and harmony in the house of Raw when she acts as special guest host next week.

Divas Champion Alicia Fox def. Eve (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Ever since narrowly capturing the Divas Championship at Fatal 4-Way, Alicia Fox has shown herself to be nothing short of sly. While defending her title against former Divas Champion Eve, the calculating Superstar dusted off an old trick: Playing possum. Fox pretended to suffer an ankle injury, and, when Eve let her guard down, she pounced to retain the Golden Butterfly.

Chris Jericho appeared on “The Cutting Edge”; Evan Bourne & Randy Orton def. Jericho & Edge (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Former partners Chris Jericho and Edge traded verbal barbs on his show “The Cutting Edge” until the situation became too heated, and they’re war of words became physical. As the two tangled, Evan Bourne charged the ring and leveled them. Before the trio could mix it up, though, the mystery GM chimed in: Edge & Jericho must take on Bourne and his partner, Randy Orton, in a tag team match.

In the battle to get a rung up on the competition, The Ultimate Opportunist and his partner tried to set aside their differences, but their tenuous treaty would prove futile when Edge Speared Jericho. “Air” Bourne then capitalized with a lethal Shooting Star Press for the win. As Bourne celebrated, however, The Viper slithered up and razed him with an RKO, proving that during Raw’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match, there will be no such alliances.

United States Champion The Miz vs. R-Truth ended in a No Contest (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Just one night after the United States celebrated her birthday on July 4th, U.S. Champion The Miz showed that he really knows how to spoil a party. Before what promised to be a thrilling match, Miz snuffed the fuse on the fireworks by attacking R-Truth before the bell. The “Cleveland Screamer” pounded Truth so fiercely, in fact, that his fellow Raw Money in the Bank Ladder Match competitor had to be escorted from the ring by medical personnel.

As a result of a shoulder injury, Truth will no longer be eligible to compete in the Raw Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

WWE Champion Sheamus confronted Arn Anderson (WATCH)
During an interview with Josh Mathews, Arn Anderson updated the WWE Universe on the condition of his fellow WWE Legend Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat. The former member of The Four Horsemen was then interrupted by WWE Champion Sheamus, who derided Anderson for succumbing to an attack from The Nexus last week. For his part, Anderson warned the Irishman that he should be careful, or The Nexus will become too powerful to be stopped.

Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov def. William Regal & The Great Khali (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Four nations, two teams, one winner. After chasing William Regal from the ring in favor of Santino Marella last Monday, Vladimir Kozlov reluctantly agreed to team up with the spicy Italian. This week, before his match against Santino & Vlad, Regal gleefully introduced his partner, The Great Khali. Sadly for the Englishman, The Punjabi Playboy refused to tag in, leaving Regal out to dry for the loss. Afterward, Khali encouraged his opponents to help Regal to his feet, at which point he Taj Ma-hauled off and chopped him down.

Ted DiBiase def. John Morrison (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Ted DiBiase’s new “protection,” Maryse, already seems to be paying dividends. The “Fortunate Son” faced off against his fellow Raw Money in the Bank Ladder Match participant, John Morrison, as his sultry security looked on. While The Shaman of Sexy’s attack appeared as tight as his abs, he became distracted when Maryse began to model his coat. The diversion allowed the prosperous progeny to capitalize and notch a cheap victory.

Mystery General Manager banned Nexus members from WWE title opportunities; arranged Money in the Bank participant matches and called for a truce (PHOTOS | WATCH)
The Nexus had to know this day would come. The group of outlaws have ridden roughshod over the WWE landscape seemingly free of consequence. Until now.

Through mouthpiece Michael Cole, Raw’s anonymous General Manager e-mailed to inform The Nexus that none of their members may compete for any WWE title until further notice, including Wade Barrett, who has a guaranteed championship match of his choice.

While the seven were visibly irate, John Cena, the target of much of their ire, entered and appeared itching for a fight. He brought six other Superstars with him to confront the group: Randy Orton, R-Truth, Evan Bourne, John Morrison & Unified Tag Team Champions The Hart Dynasty.

Before the 14 could saddle up to fight, however, WWE Champion Sheamus, United States Champion The Miz, Edge, Chris Jericho, Ted DiBiase & The Usos ambushed Cena’s posse as The Nexus scattered throughout the arena.

After the dust settled, Cole received another email. The mystery GM told the Superstars to simmer, that later in the evening all of the competitors in the Raw Money in the Bank Ladder Match in two weeks will compete against one another. The still-anonymous GM also implored Cena to call a truce and shake the hand of Barrett. When Cena resisted the idea, the mystery GM asked Cena to do the “right thing” before cryptically adding in the e-mail, “and that’s the bottom line because the GM said so.”

Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston def. Dolph Ziggler
    Kane def. Luke Gallows (Disqualification)
    MVP def. Chavo Guerrero
    Kelly Kelly def. Michelle McCool
World Champion Rey Mysterio & Big Show def. Jack Swagger & "Dashing" Cody Rhodes (Disqualification)

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – With Money in the Bank just weeks away, Jack Swagger sent a strong message to World Champion Rey Mysterio by locking him in a lethal ankle lock and refusing to let go. Serena unveiled a dirty little secret, seemingly proving CM Punk did not attack The Undertaker. And with only two coveted spots remaining in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match (preview), all of SmackDown was out to make an impact.

World Champion Rey Mysterio & Big Show def. Jack Swagger & "Dashing" Cody Rhodes by Disqualification (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Last week it was Big Show who fell victim to an angry Jack Swagger’s debilitating ankle lock. This week World Champion Rey Mysterio was snared in “The All-American American’s” lethal hold when Swagger stopped a 619 cold. While writhing in agony, Mysterio managed to reach the ropes – hoping to stop the pain. However, just like last week, Swagger refused to heed the ref’s orders to break the hold, costing him and “Dashing” Cody Rhodes the match.

Fueled by frustration at losing the World Title at Fatal 4-Way, Swagger ignored the ref’s pleas to break the hold even after the bout had ended. With the painful hold still locked in, Swagger dragged Mysterio out of the ring and down onto the arena floor, where Mysterio finally found relief from the hold. Swagger’s actions made things clear – he wants his World Title back from Mysterio at Money in the Bank. (preview)

Kelly Kelly def. Michelle McCool (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Despite a vicious offense from Michelle McCool, Kelly Kelly took advantage of a distraction from Layla to help defeat Michelle. With the win, Kelly now boasts recent victories over both members of team “Lay-Cool.”

MVP def. Chavo Guerrero (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Before the match began, Chavo Guerrero made it known to his aunt and Official SmackDown Consultant Vickie Guerrero that he deserves an Intercontinental Title Match. However, in the end, it was MVP’s Play of the Day that garnered the victory for The Ballin’ Superstar.

Kane def. Luke Gallows by Disqualification; Serena seemingly proves CM Punk’s innocence (PHOTOS | WATCH)
After decimating CM Punk last week, Kane set his sights on Luke Gallows. Just like last week, Kane found himself tangling with more than just his opponent when a hooded member of The Straight Edge Society attacked him from behind, causing an immediate disqualification. Red with rage, Kane destroyed both the hooded S.E.S. member and Luke Gallows. CM Punk appeared to be next to suffer the same fate … until Serena revealed shocking news.

As she begged for Kane to release Punk from his clutches, she claimed to be able to prove Punk could not have been involved in the attack on The Undertaker. At first, Kane did not believe her and was poised to destroy Punk. That was until Serena proved her case in the form of a video broadcast on the arena screen.

The shocking video revealed Serena drinking in a bar – a behavior completely against living The Straight Edge lifestyle. The video closed with an irate Punk confronting her – apparently proving Punk was elsewhere on the night The Undertaker was attacked. After seeing the video, Kane released Punk from his grasp and exited the ring.

Matt Hardy attacked Christian on “The Peep Show” (PHOTOS | WATCH)
After Matt Hardy and Christian agreed they shared a similar path in WWE, they couldn’t agree on who had a better chance at winning the upcoming Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Putting an end to the discussion, Hardy hit Christian in the face then sent him crashing into a ladder on the set of “The Peep Show.”

Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston def. Dolph Ziggler (PHOTOS | WATCH)
With official SmackDown Consultant Vickie Guerrero at his side, Dolph Ziggler had an opportunity to become the No. 1 Contender to the Intercontinental Title if he could defeat reigning champion, Kofi Kingston. Despite a vigorous offense, Ziggler was stopped cold by Trouble in Paradise. Disappointed in Ziggler’s performance, Vickie walked off without him after the match.

Rey Mysterio aided Big Show after being attacked by Jack Swagger and “Dashing” Cody Rhodes (PHOTOS | WATCH)
At the start of the night, Jack Swagger reminded the WWE Universe that he is the most recent Money in the Bank winner, having won the coveted briefcase at WrestleMania XXVI. Claiming he has since been “cheated” out of the World Title he cashed in on, Swagger continued to express his woes. Tired of hearing it, Big Show emerged – threatening to break Swagger’s jaw. But before he could get his hands on Swagger, “Dashing” Cody Rhodes attacked him from behind. Swagger joined in, rolling Big Show into the ring where they double-teamed him. Before total carnage, Rey Mysterio emerged to help, driving both aggressors from ring.

    Indy Star Signed by WWE?

    Indy Star Signed by WWE?

Indy wrestler Luke Hawx, of MTV's Wrestling Society X fame, wrote on Facebook that he is on his indy farewell tour as apparently he's signed with either WWE or TNA. Hawx is from New Orleans and has a photo on his Facebook posing with Triple H on the set of WWE's new movie The Chaperone, filmed in New Orleans. It's possible Hawx has signed with WWE but that's not confirmed. Hawx has worked several WWE dark matches over the years and appeared on ECW in matches against Vladimir Kozlov and Ezekiel Jackson.

    TNA Impact Results
    July 1st, 2010
    By Bill Pritchard for Wrestlezone.com

    Impact Opener:

Impact starts with Abyss throwing chairs in the ring and then he makes his way towards So Cal Val. He leaps at a few fans and grabs their chairs and throws them into the pile in the ring. He continues to follow around the ring and points at her when she trips, and Hogan comes to the ring and tells Abyss to get in the ring. Abyss gets to the ropes but Eric Bischoff runs down the ramp and gets in Hogan's way and tells him what he is doing is insane. Security comes in and gets between Abyss and Hogan, and Bischoff is trying to get Abyss to back down, and then calls him an ungrateful son of a b***h and slaps him in the face. Abyss knocks out the security guards and then points at Bischoff, and Hogan smacks him in the back with one of the chairs. Abyss doesn't sell the chair shots and turns around to Hogan, but Jeff Hardy runs down to make the save. He hits with some of the chairs and then goes up top and hits the Swanton Bomb on Abyss.

Hardy, Hogan and Bischoff get out of the ring and are backing up the ramp as Abyss is telling Hardy to come back down to the ring. Hardy tries running back down and more security comes down and gets in his way as Abyss screams that Hardy is his tonight. Tenay and Taz go over a match that will happen tonight and then suddenly get a visit from Abyss and Taz pulls Tenay out of the way. Abyss points at Taz and then beats up more security guards on the stage, and stares down Taz as we go to our first commercial.

When we get back Bischoff and Hogan are talking about how to put a stop to Abyss. Hardy says he has Abyss' number and he will put a stop to it tonight. Hogan says yea he does have his number but that won't completely stop him, and says they'll get his back. Hardy screams Abyss is going down tonight, and walks away as Hogan thanks him and stays with Bischoff.

Ink Inc vs Motor City Machine Guns

Moore and Shelley start off with some chain wrestling and then Moore hits an armdrag and holds on to put him in an armbar. Jesse and Moore make some quick tags then Moore whips Shelley outside. Moore jumps the top rope and hits a somersault dive to the outside on Shelley and Sabin. When they get back in the ring Sabin has Moore down and drags him to the middle and drops an elbow. He runs at Moore and gets hit with an elbow and both guys go down. Moore gets the tag to Jesse who hits a turnbuckle splash on Sabin, and catches Shelley with the spear. Sabin dumps Moore over the top rope and walks into a big slam from Jesse, and goes after Shelley in the corner. Brother Ray comes down to talk smack to Jesse, and Devon gets in his way to stop him. The Guns take the opportunity and hit Jesse with a double team manuever where Sabin has Jesse on his shoulders and Shelley hits a floatover neckbreaker and they get the win.

Winners - Motor City Machine Guns

Bischoff comes out to the ramp and says he is interrupting because there will be a special guest referee in the Abyss/Hardy match, and it will be the TNA Champion, Rob Van Dam!

    AJ Styles vs Samoa Joe

AJ tries chopping Joe, but Joe doesn't feel it and punches away at AJ in the corner. Joe whips him into the opposite corner and hits a snapping kick and then stares down Flair at ringside. Joe goes back to AJ and kicks him in the head then hits a big splash of the ropes. AJ tries leapfrogging Joe and Joe slaps him, but AJ gets him back with a dropkick. AJ chokes Joe on the ropes until it is broken up by the referee, and then AJ hits a bodyslam that also knocks him down. AJ goes for a suplex in the middle of the ring but Joe reverses it and throws AJ down on his stomach. AJ hits a low dropkick and puts Joe in a headlock and the ref asks Joe if he is OK. Joe gets out and hits AJ with a forearm shot, then hits a senton backdrop for a two count. Joe calls for the Muscle Buster but AJ drops out and catches Joe with a corkscrew kneedrag. AJ goes for a Figure Four but Joe is able to reverse it and he locks in the Kokina Clutch, and AJ has no choice and taps out.

    Winner - Samoa Joe

After the match Flair and Kazarian get in AJ's face and Flair is yelling at him about losing the match. Kazarian smiles at AJ and he doesn't look happy about it and grabs a mic. He asks Kazarian if he thinks this is funny and says the funny thing is that he would beat Kazarian. He asks Kazarian for a match next week and then he asks Flair if that is OK, and Flair has no objections and AJ says good. Flair and Kazarian walk to the back as AJ stays in the ring and it will be AJ Styles vs Kazarian next week on Impact.

Bischoff and Hogan are meeting with Dixie in the back and Bischoff has a proposal he would like to share. He says Sting has his own agenda and he is becoming dangerous. She says this isn't like him, and Hogan and Bischoff say it is him, and he can't handle the successand he has always been like this. Nash comes in and Hogan asks him to leave, and Nash looks surprised and leaves. They say they came in to fix everything, and Sting is the guy that keeps trying to bring them down, and pretty soon everyone will jump ship on them. Bischoff tells her she needs to do something about it, and she says it will be tonight, but she needs to do it herself.

    Desmond Wolfe vs Brian Kendrick

Wolfe and Kendrick trade punches in the corner and then Kendrick hits a dropkick and locks in a Cobra Clutch until Wolfe gets to the ropes. Wolfe goes outside with Kendrick and then gets in Chelsea's face as he chokes Wolfe on the guardrail. He throws Kendrick back in the ring and hits a knee to the back that sends Kendrick back inside. Wolfe hits him with European uppercuts and then puts him in a half nelson as he argues with Chelsea again. He sits down and grapevines Kendrick's arm and then stops when Chelsea leaves and goes backstage. He goes back to Kendrick and Kendrick locks in the Cobra Clutch again as Wolfe tries to fight out of it. Kendrick wraps his legs around Wolfe's waist on the mat, and after trying to fight out Wolfe can't go anywhere and taps out.

    Winner - Brian Kendrick

After a video package, the Pope D'Angelo Dinero makes his return to TNA. He comes down to the ring and grabs a mic and thanks the fans as they chant "Hallelujah". He says moments like this realize that him busting his butt in the ring makes everything worth it, and he couldn't have done it with all of the Congregation. Pope says he is at 80%, and he wants to be clear, and he says he hasn't forgot about what Mr. Anderson did to him. He says he'll take care of Anderson soon enough, and says he is still in the Top Ten because he wants to stake his claim and earn his spot back. Pope calls for a Hallelujah but is interrupted by Kurt Angle's music as Angle rises up from the platform in the stage. Pope smiles and realizes why Kurt came out, and Kurt says welcomes back and everyone misses you. Kurt says Pope has been making alot of noise and he is a big fan, and says it is unfortunate that Pope is #8. Kurt says they will face each other at Victory Road, and he needs to win because it could be his last match. Kurt says good luck to Pope, and says he must be victorious before he leaves and goes backstage.

Jay Lethal comes out to the ring and says last week Flair and AJ beat up his brother, and he doesn't respect Flair anymore. He says his brother isn't a wrestler and didn't sign up for this, but he did so he won't leave until one of them comes out. Matt Morgan makes his way out and says he was the first person that Flair asked to join Fortune. He says he hasn't quite made his mind up yet, and tells Lethal to listen to this, because he and Flair agreed on one thing and then he hits Lethal with the mic.

    Jay Lethal vs Matt Morgan

Morgan hits the rapid elbows in the corner on Lethal and drops him in the middle with a side slam. Morgan chokes Lethal on the ropes and then drives his foot in between the shoulder blades before he hits a fallaway slam. Morgan picks Lethal up and headbutts him, and then steps on his chest before choking him in the corner. Morgan waits for Lethal to get up and goes for the Carbon Footprint but Lethal ducks it and Morgan gets hung up on the ropes. Lethal chops and kicks Morgan and hits an enziguiri and a shoulder block, and follows it with a dropkick but only gets two. Lethal goes for a springboard, but Morgan catches him and tosses him outside as he turns around and doesn't see Hernandez make his way out. Hernandez low blows Morgan and Lethal hits a springboard missile dropkick to get the win. Afterwards Lethal celebrates and Morgan is pissed off as he stares back at Hernandez, who is still on the ramp.

    Winner - Jay Lethal

Abyss is in the back hammering nails into a block of wood and says each nail means they will be closer to being here. He says they will be in control of all of TNA and walks away as he holds up the weapon and says that it should really hurt someone.

    Taylor Wilde vs Madison Rayne

Madison pulls Taylor's hair and then spears her and chokes her on the ropes. Madison whips her off the ropes and Taylor hits a hurricanrana and then she clotheslines Madison but they hit heads and both women go down. Madison gets up and chokes Taylor from behind and then picks her up and holds her arm. Madison drops backwards and drives her knee into Taylor's neck and gets the pinfall.

After the match, Angelina Love comes out and hits Madison with a chair. She picks up Madison and tries to DDT her on the chair but Madison gets away and backs up the ramp as Angelina tells her she was this close.

    Winner - Madison Rayne

After a commercial Sarita is beating up Taylor Wilde in the backstage area and throws her into a steel beam. Sarita tries rolling a large equipment case at her but Taylor moves and punches Sarita back. Sarita holds her by the hair as Taylor tries fighting back but Sarita throws her into another beam. Security runs in and breaks them up and Sarita slaps Taylor in the head as they pull the two women apart.

Dixie Carter catches up to Sting backstage and he asks if she finally gets it. She says that Hogan and Bischoff showed her that he is a cancer, and Sting did it to himself. She says that he is suspended for 30 days, and he can't believe it. He says it isn't about the money, and says it is about her being conned. Dixie asks him if he has something to say instead of talking in cryptic language all the time, so he says he will break it down for her, only to get cut off by Eric Bischoff. He says to stop because this is nuts, and calls for security. Sting tells Dixie to forget about the 30 days, because she can make it indefinite, and he leaves without restraint. Bischoff tells her that Sting won't go away easily, and says she needs protection. He suggests she gets a bodyguard and they leave the area they confronted Sting in.

Abyss vs Jeff Hardy (w/ Rob Van Dam as Special Referee)

Hardy takes control early and unloads on Abyss in the corner, then clotheslines Abyss out of the ring. Hardy hits a slingshot crossbody to the outside and keeps after Abyss but he misses a Twist of Fate and Abyss shoves him into the ringpost. Abyss throws him back in the ring and whips him into the turnbuckle. He picks Hardy back up and hits a big side slam for a two count, and then Abyss rolls outside and goes for a chair at ringside. RVD takes the chair away from Abyss and Hardy rolls him up but only gets two, and then Hardy hits a legdrop to the groin. Hardy grabs the chair and RVD tries to take it away but Hardy says he isn't using it, and hits Poetry in Motion off of it. Hardy runs the ropes and eats a big boot and a splash for two, and Abyss goes for the Shock Treatment but gets hit with the Twist of Fate instead. Hardy goes up top and Abyss cuts him off and tries to chokeslam Hardy off the top rope. Hardy throws some elbows and knocks Abyss down, and jumps off and hits the Swanton Bomb to get the win.

    Winner - Jeff Hardy

After the bell, Abyss goes nuts and chokes Hardy then hits RVD with a Black Hole Slam. He goes and grabs the piece of wood with the nails, and gets cut off by Mr. Anderson. Anderson drives the chair into Abyss' ribs, and he winds up and swings at Abyss, but Abyss ducks and Anderson accidentally hits Hardy with the chair. Anderson goes to check on Hardy and Abyss picks him up and hits the Shock Treatment. Abyss looks around and yells as the other three men are down on the mat as Impact goes off the air.

NXT Rookie Alex Riley suffered a wound to the back of his head while defending his FCW Florida Heavyweight Championship against Kaval at last night's Florida Championship Wrestling television taping in Tampa, Florida.

Riley suffered the injury after hitting his head on the guardrail, which was in due part to a kick from Kaval. The match was immediately stopped and medical personnel assisted Riley to the back.

Seeing as the match was the final bout of the three-episode taping, FCW President Steve Keirn came out to apologize to the fans, noting it will take place at a different time. He said he had a standby match, which saw Percy Watson upend Big E. Langston.

Angelina Love, with Hot 97's Pete Rosenberg in her corner, vs. Madison Rayne. Before the match Madison tells fans that she's got a surprise to announce, which is her match is a non-title match. During the match, Earl kisses Madison. Angelina wins by pinning Madison.

Borash announces a giveway of backstage passes to fans, then introduces Jeff Jarrett to the ring. And as Jarrett comes out he says that he's wrestled worldwide, says that Brooklyn loves TNA and says two weeks ago was TNA's 8 year anniversary. He thanks SpikeTV, says that TNA's glad to have signed Kurt Angle, Jeff Hardy and RVD, tells fans to expect more surprises and thanks the fans.

Borash asks fans if they're interested in backstage passes by shouting for them.

    Kurt Angle beat Desmond Wolfe.

Borash asks fans if they know that TNA's on Spike TV & if they too wanna be on Spike TV. He then tells fans that he'll count from 5 to 1 so the fans can cheer for being on Spike & says TNA's seen in over 120
    countries.

Jeff Hardy beat Abyss in a Monsters Ball match.

Borash introduces Don West where Don mentions that Hebner will be selling his "Damn Right I Did" shirt later, then plugs the TNA DVDs and RVD shirts. He then tells fans to ask for a yellow ticket so they can get a picture taken with RVD after the show. This was followed by a 30 minute intermission.

After intermission, Borash again introduced Hebner.

Ink Inc. vs Team 3D. Before the match, Brother Ray said it's great being in Brooklyn and says this won't be a regular match, but a tables match. Team 3D wins, then after the match Brother Devon did his usual "Oh my brother, testify" routine.

Borash says the show is being streamed via the Internet and says TNA President Dixie Carter's viewing it and then makes the announcement that TNA will be at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom on 9/23, where tickets will be on sale via Ticketmaster.

AJ Styles vs. RVD. Before the match, AJ said that RVD's song was terrible, then insults the fans as well as the hot dog eating contest. He says RVD and Nathan hot dogs suck just like Jay-Z, then says he's from Georgia & says to watch him win the match. In the end, RVD beats AJ. As Borash tells fans good night, he again plugs the yellow tickets so fans can have their photo taken with RVD, which was happening in the ring at that moment.

Primo & Zack Ryder def. Goldust & Yoshi Tatsu
    Nikki Bella def. Jillian
    Christian def. Curt Hawkins

Don’t know where to catch “WWE Superstars”? Find WGN America in your area. Can't see “WWE Superstars” on WGN America in your area? Stay with WWE.com for full results, photos and video clips of all the action.

Christian def. Curt Hawkins (PHOTOS | WATCH)
The attention grabbing young team of Curt Hawkins & Vance Archer have been making serious waves on SmackDown in recent weeks, but tonight Hawkins had to get through the electrifying Christian. The former World Tag Team Champion may have all the talent in the world, but beating a veteran like Captain Charisma is easier said than done. And despite his aggressiveness and will to win, Hawkins simply couldn’t stop the offensive onslaught of the leader of the Peeps. After tonight’s impressive victory, Christian can now set his sights on the big SmackDown Money in the Bank Ladder Match on July 18.

Nikki Bella def. Jillian (PHOTOS | WATCH)
To paraphrase the great Yogi Berra, it was déjà vu all over again for Jillian on tonight’s “WWE Superstars.” After the beautiful Bella Twins switched places during Brie’s match with Jillian last Thursday, the tone-deaf Diva wanted to insure that didn’t happen again this week. And to her credit, the former Divas Champion did control much of the early action, punishing Nikki with vicious blows that had the gorgeous Diva seeing double. But when the action spilled to the outside, Brie distracted Jillian, allowing Nikki to roll her up for the pin.

Primo & Zack Ryder def. Goldust & Yoshi Tatsu (PHOTOS | WATCH)
There are many reasons two Superstars form a tag team — a quest for vengeance, a thirst for championship glory, the desire to revenge on a gorgeous woman. OK, the third one might be uncommon, but that’s how Primo and Zack Ryder linked up. After both being scorned by Divas Champion Alicia Fox in recent weeks, the two young Raw competitors decided to team up to show The Foxy Floridian what they are made of. Hopefully the beautiful Diva was watching “WWE Superstars” tonight, because Primo & Ryder impressed with a big victory over Goldust & Yoshi Tatsu.

Update on the condition of Ricky Steamboat

Update on the condition of Ricky Steamboat
Posted by Roscoe De Soto on 07/01/2010 at 10:02 PM

Ricky Steamboat's condition has been upgraded to stable, although he is expected to remain in hospital for a while. As noted earlier, Steamboat suffered a brain aneurysm last night in Tampa, FL.

WWE has pulled the footage of the Nexus attack on Ricky Steamboat from its website. Although his aneurysm is not related to the angle, WWE thought it in good taste to take the footage down.

    Uitslagen wwe NXT 29 JUNI
Klik op de afbeelding om de link te volgen WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - Tonight on WWE NXT, one of the eight Rookies' road came to an end, as the night of the first Pros' Poll also signaled season two's first surprise elimination.

The NXT Poll results were revealed
The WWE Universe and the WWE Pros votes were combined and the results have been tabulated for first NXT Poll. Kaval is ranked No. 1, while Titus O’Neil came in last, ranking at No. 8! With the ranking, O’Neil has been eliminated from the NXT competition.

O'Neil left the WWE Universe with some inspirational advice, "Make life what you can - take each and every opportunity you can to make it a win!"

The combined results of the NXT Poll are as follows:

    1. Kaval

    2. Percy Watson

    3. Michael McGillicutty

    4. Alex Riley

    5. Lucky Cannon

    6. Eli Cottonwood

    7. Husky Harris

    8. Titus O'Neil

With the first NXT Poll rankings in, the WWE Universe and the WWE Pros are one step closer to crowning the winner of WWE NXT. Which NXT Rookie will become WWE’s next breakout star win a future championship match at a WWE pay-per-view?

Kaval, Lucky Cannon & Michael McGillicutty def. Alex Riley, Eli Cottonwood & Titus O’NeilIn their last match before the WWE Pros voted in the first NXT Poll, six of the NXT Rookies met in a Six-Man Tag Team Match. Determined to finally impress the WWE Universe and the WWE Pros with a win, Kaval tapped into his vast arsenal of offense to earn a victory for himself and fellow NXT Rookies Lucky Cannon and Michael McGillicutty when he pinned Alex Riley, hitting the impressive Warrior's Way.
After this Six-Man Tag Team Match, the participants’ records stand at: Kaval: 1-2, Cannon: 1-2, McGillicutty: 3-0, Alex Riley: 2-1, Eli Cottonwood: 2-1, Titus O’Neil: 0-3.

MVP def. Husky Harris (PHOTOS | WATCH)
In this season’s second WWE Pro vs. NXT Rookie Match, MVP took on Husky Harris. With his energetic NXT Rookie, “Showtime” Percy Watson, in his corner, MVP dominated Harris, who confidently referred to himself as “an Army tank with a Ferrari engine” this week on WWE.com. But Harris’ rocky and oftentimes unsupportive relationship with his WWE Pro, “Dashing” Cody Rhodes, hasn’t helped his fight on WWE NXT. Harris’ record fell to 0-2 with his loss to MVP. After the match, as MVP put out his hand as a sign of respect for the Rookie, Harris motioned to The Ballin' Superstar that he was "this close" to winning, and angrily left the ring with his WWE Pro.

NXT Rookie Challenge: The Keg Carry (PHOTOS | WATCH)
As the WWE Universe voted in the first live NXT Poll, the eight NXT Rookies competed in their first Challenge – The Keg Carry. Hoping to impress the WWE Pros and the WWE Universe one last time before the NXT Poll, each NXT Rookie had to pick up and carry a full keg around the ring and across the finish line, without the keg touching the ground.

Lucky Cannon started the Challenge, rounding the ring in 12.7 seconds. Luck was all this Rookie needed, as Husky Harris, Michael McGillicutty, Kaval and Titus O'Neil all were disqualified. With the impressive win, Cannon earned himself immunity from tonight's elimination.

WWE signs Umaga's cousin to a contract
Posted by Roscoe De Soto on 07/01/2010 at 08:54 AM

WWE has signed Joe Anoa’i to a developmental deal. Joe is the son of Sika, cousin of Rikishi and Umaga, and the younger brother of Rosey. Joe is 6 foot 3 and 280 pounds. Anoa’i played as defensive tackle for Georgia Tech in 2006 but wasn’t drafted by an NFL team. He went to the Minnesota Vikings as a free agent and sat on the practice squad in 2007 before being cut. Joe played football in Canada for the Edmonton Eskimos and is now getting into pro wrestling.

What you didn't see on this week's WWE RAW
Posted by Roscoe De Soto on 06/29/2010 at 11:04 AM

Here’s a live report of what happened after Monday’s WWE RAW went off the air:

WWE Champion Sheamus wrestled John Cena to a no-contest.

Sheamus grabbed the mic and called out Cena, saying he won’t even make it to the Money in the Bank PPV.

Cena ran out to a huge pop from the crowd. Sheamus attacked Cena before bell and then went for several pin attempts.

Sheamus was in control for most of the match, not even letting Cena get his shirt off during the beatdown. Cena was on the match for nine seconds and got up just before the referee could count him out. Cenea tore off his shirt and went crazy. He hit two shoulder blocks, the five knuckle shuffle and went for an Attitude Adjustment, which Sheamus blocked.

Cena was able to lock in the STF when the Nexus came out and interfered. The entire RAW locker room came out and chased off the Nexus crew.

Cena’s music played and he and Orton celebrated to end the show.

There were quite a few WWE stars that suffered minor injuries over the weekend at live events. Cody Rhodes took a bad bump on his head, but was eventually cleared about being checked out. Kelly Kelly suffered a minor injury and also checked out okay. Both Rey Mysterio and R-Truth suffered groin injuries, while Randy Orton suffered a minor neck injury. The impression is that everyone will be working through the injuries this week for TV tapings.

Mickie James talks about her future in wrestling

Mickie James talks about her future in wrestling

Former WWE Diva Mickie James was interviewed by Alez Marvez of Scrippsnews.com last week and spoke at length about her wrestling and country music careers. James has spent the last year and a half working on her debut country music CD, "Strangers and Angels." Here are some highlights of what Mickie James said about:

Her Country Music Career:"Wrestling has kind of taken a back seat right now,. This is a new passion of mine. I'm a very competitive person and very much a perfectionist. When I want something that badly, I'm willing to make sacrifices and do whatever it takes to make it happen."

Getting Released By WWE: "It broke my heart. I admit it," said James, who initially landed a WWE developmental contract in 2003 after spending four years on the independent circuit and in TNA Wrestling. "I had given so much of my life to this and sacrificed so much. I missed weddings, birthdays, my nieces being born. I starved on the road when I first tried to make it. I slept at rest stops because I didn't have the money for a hotel. I wanted it that bad.

"When you get that call that you're hired, it's the greatest call in the world. It's even better when you get the call that you're coming to TV (tapings) and debuting. But when you get the call saying you're gone ... What bothers me is, I could see if I didn't get a good reaction, but I would get the largest reaction of any female on the roster no matter who I was on the bill with. I still don't understand why, but that's life."

Her Future in Wrestling: "For a while, I was going to say I didn't want to wrestle at all because I'm still heartbroken (about WWE)," James said. "But I do love it so much. I intend to wrestle here and there and do the shows I really want to do, especially if it's with someone who's a friend of mine or someone I never got a chance to work with."

TNA getting more serious about hiring Paul Heyman?

TNA getting more serious about hiring Paul Heyman?

    Credit: F4WOnline.com

TNA officials have gotten more aggressive over the past week or two when it comes to signing Paul Heyman. As noted before, Heyman has been offered the head of TNA creative job but Heyman wants a role where he’s the guy running everything, something similar to Dana White in UFC. It was also noted that he sees the creative side of things as a problem but not the biggest problem.

Randy Orton, John Morrison, R-Truth & Evan Bourne def. Ted DiBiase, Chris Jericho, Edge & United States Champion The Miz

PHILADELPHIA – As a singer of sinister songs and a director of horror films, Raw special guest host Rob Zombie has experience with the darker side of human nature. That experience must have set him somewhat at ease when Randy Orton slithered past his foes to demonstrate just how far a snake will go to wrap himself around what he wants.

Randy Orton, John Morrison, R-Truth & Evan Bourne def. Chris Jericho, Edge, Ted DiBiase & United States Champion The Miz (PHOTOS | WATCH)
WWE Superstars, take note: Snakes don’t run in packs. As if to prove the point, The Viper, Randy Orton, turned his back on his partners to make a quick strike for the Money in the Bank briefcase after their Eight-Man Tag Team Match.

Orton was teamed with John Morrison, R-Truth & Evan Bourne in a bout against Chris Jericho, Edge, Ted DiBiase & United States Champion The Miz. In a prelude to the Raw Money in the Bank Ladder Match, each of that match’s competitors fought in the tag match as arranged by Raw’s mystery GM. While each man attempted to showcase their dominance and gain a modicum of psychological advantage, it was Orton whose fangs sank deep when he leveled DiBiase with an RKO.

In the subsequent commotion, each of the competitors traded blows in an attempt to reach the Money in the Bank briefcase. It was Orton, however, who managed to slither to the top and grabbed the coveted case.

Divas Champion Alicia Fox & Maryse def. Eve & Gail Kim (PHOTOS | WATCH)
One day, when scientists discover the center of the universe, Alicia Fox will be sorely disappointed to learn that she is not it. No matter. Ever since emerging victorious at Fatal 4-Way and capturing the Divas Championship, Fox has revealed herself to be positively unbearable. After teaming with Maryse against Eve & Gail Kim and scoring the pin for her team, Fox’s ego is sure to inflate beyond Marysian proportions.

The Nexus attacked Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat and other WWE Legends (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Is nothing sacred? WWE Hall of Famer Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat had taken to the ring to address the WWE Universe regarding his new DVD retrospective, Ricky Steamboat: The Life Story of The Dragon, when he was joined by fellow WWE Legends, who heaped praise on their friend and former colleague. That’s when the unthinkable happened.

With orders not to touch any active Superstars, The Nexus circled the ring and plucked the esteemed Legends, including Arn Anderson, Michael Hayes, Mike Rotundo, Dean Malenko and Jerry Lawler, from within, punishing them outside the ring. Finally, the group of six – leader Wade Barrett was conferencing with WWE officials to learn the fate of he and his group – entered the squared circle and surrounded Steamboat before reigning blows down upon him. The Nexus – defined by a group of connected beings, as described by Cole – continues to demonstrate their defiance and sedition.

WWE Champion Sheamus def. Mark Henry (PHOTOS | WATCH)
After a vague victory at Fatal 4-Way, WWE Champion Sheamus may have felt he had to prove himself a worthy champion. If so, what better evidence to submit than a win over Mark Henry? The Celtic Warrior rested his case by conquering The World’s Strongest Man in a non-title bout. An impressive victory, the win also bolsters the Irishman’s confidence rolling into his Steel Cage Match against John Cena at Money in the Bank.

Raw host Rob Zombie revealed Raw’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match participants; Eight-Man Tag Team Main Event Match announced (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Special guest host Rob Zombie knows from sick and twisted. After all, as a director, Zombie brought us House of 1000 Corpses, Devil’s Rejects and Halloween. So, it was with relish that Zombie announced the following eight Superstars prepared to sacrifice their bodies in Raw’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match: Randy Orton, United States Champion The Miz, R-Truth, Chris Jericho, Evan Bourne, Ted DiBiase, John Morrison and Edge, the first-ever Money in the Bank winner.

As The Rated-R Superstar was busy proclaiming his dominance, announcer Cole interrupted with a message from the mystery GM: The evening’s main event would be an Eight-Man Tag Team Match pitting Edge, Miz, DiBiase & Jericho against Bourne, Morrison, Truth & Orton.

Ranjin Singh revealed his frustration with Great Khali (WATCH)
During an interview with Josh Mathews, The Great Khali’s interpreter Ranjin Singh demonstrated his frustration with The Punjabi Playboy. When asked what punishment should await The Nexus, Singh told Mathews that Khali would run away if the seven Nexus members were present before the sideburn sporting sidekick stormed off.

Vladimir Kozlov def. Santino Marella (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Santino Marella has been dying to hitch his wagon to the star of Vladimir Kozlov. The Italian wrestled the Russian with the stipulation that if he won, Vlad would be his tag team partner. Long story short, they’re not partners – by a long shot. After Santino’s loss, however, William Regal climbed onto the canvas and began to pummel the spicy Superstar. Upon witnessing the ambush, Kozlov actually returned to the ring to defend his opponent and chase off the Brit. Santino and Kozlov even shook hands afterward, perhaps symbolizing a potential truce.

The Usos & Tamina attacked Unified Tag Team Champions The Hart Dynasty & Natalya (PHOTOS | WATCH)
The family warfare rages on. In a what was supposed to be a rematch from the Fatal 4-Way pay-per-view when Unified Tag Team Champions The Hart Dynasty & Natalya defeated The Usos & Tamina, it was the twin sons of Rikishi and the daughter of “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka who attacked before the bell. With the surprise beatdown, the trio took yet another step in cementing their place in WWE.

Raw GM arranged WWE Champion Sheamus vs. Mark Henry; and WWE Title Steel Cage Match at Money in the Bank (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Raw announcer Michael Cole continued in his role as mouthpiece for Raw’s still anonymous General Manager, announcing that the mystery GM will have a verdict on the season one NXT Rookies – who have taken to referring to themselves as The Nexus – on next week’s Raw. Meanwhile, if any member of The Nexus puts their hands on a WWE Superstar, they will be terminated. Similarly, if a Superstar lays their hands on a Nexus member, they will be suspended.

The GM went on to arrange a match for WWE Champion Sheamus for later in the evening, pitting the Irishman against Mark Henry. After announcing the bout, Cole proceeded to declare that Sheamus must also defend his title against John Cena at WWE’s newest pay-per-view event, next month’s Money in the Bank. To guard against outside interference, particularly from The Nexus, the GM proclaimed the two will meet in a Steel Cage Match.
