    Angelina Love geblesseerd

    TNA Knockout Gets Shaken Up

TNA Knockout Angelina Love was shaken up following a shot to the throat from Christy Hemme during their match at Monday's Impact taping (which aired this past Thursday), reports prowrestling.NET. It was quite obvious that Love suffered the injury early in the match as she was seen clutching her throat and was limited for the rest of the contest as a result. Love was said to be feeling better the next day and is not expected to miss any ring time.

Two road agents released from TNA

Two road agents released from TNA

TNA has released Glenn Gilberti and Pat Kenney, reports prowrestling.NET. The two road agents were released this past Friday. The reason given for the firing is that the company is making budgetary cuts. With the departures of the two, that leaves Dutch Mantel, Jim Cornette, Savio Vega, and BG James as the remaining agents in TNA. Although, Kenney and Mantel were the only agents to go on the road at house show events.

The Miz & John Morrison def. WWE Tag Team Champions Carlito & Primo (Non-Title Match)
Jimmy Wang Yang def. The Brian Kendrick (DQ)
ECW Champion Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, & Rey Mysterio def. Kane, Mark Henry & Montel Vontavious Porter
Divas Champion Michelle McCool, Maria & Brie Bella def. Maryse, Natalya & Victoria – Six-Diva Tag Team Match
Undertaker def. Chavo Guerrero – (Casket Match)

SAN DIEGO – Just five days after Cyber Sunday, MyNetwork TV hosted a special Halloween-themed edition of SmackDown full of Superstar tricks, costumed Diva treats, and a wicked Casket Match set by devilish General Manager Vickie Guerrero.

Undertaker def. Chavo Guerrero (Casket Match) (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Even with Big Show becoming more than a casual observer, the fate of Chavo Guerrero in a Casket Match against Undertaker seemed set in stone. After punishing the self-proclaimed "Mexican Warrior," The Phenom signaled to the referee that the end was near. But, as he was about to send Guerrero to his doom, Big Show slammed the casket door closed. Then, when The Deadman countered his opponent’s attempt to use a chair with a vicious chokeslam, Big Show attacked. However, the trick was on The World’s Largest Athlete as The Phenom pulled the top rope down, sending the charging Superstar tumbling over the ropes and onto the top of the looming box of death. Undertaker then hit Guerrero with the Tombstone and rolled him into the coffin for the win.

Vladimir Kozlov calls out Triple H; General Manager Guerrero gives Kozlov an opportunity (PHOTOS)
Vladimir Kozlov came before the WWE Universe, demanding a title opportunity against WWE Champion Triple H. When The Game emerged and pushed for a face-to-face confrontation without securing a title match, the Moscow Mauler backed off. Later, after watching her nephew lose to Undertaker, Vickie Guerrero informed Kozlov that if he beats The Deadman next week, she will award him a chance at the WWE Championship at Survivor Series.

The Miz & John Morrison def. WWE Tag Team Champions Carlito & Primo (Non-Title Match) (WATCH | PHOTOS)
In a heated tag team match, the Shaman of Sexy grabbed the rope just as Carlito was spring boarding off it, allowing the self-proclaimed “chick magnet” to execute a Mizard of Oz for the win. Will the WWE.com “Dirt Sheet” co-stars have the same luck against DX on a special three-hour edition of Monday Night Raw’s 800th Episode Celebration? (full story…) (WATCH PREVIEW)

Six-Diva Tag Team Match: Maria def. Victoria (WATCH | PHOTOS)
The Sexiest Women on Television put their sultry Halloween costumes on display in a special Halloween Six-Diva Tag Team Match. Divas Champion “Army Brat” Michelle McCool, “Bunny” Maria & “Cleopatra” Brie Bella defeated “French Maid” Maryse, “Police Officer” Natalya & “Wacky Banana” Victoria. In the end, Maria tagged herself in – much to the surprise of Michelle – and hit a cross body from the top rope for the victory.

Six-Man Tag Team Match: Jeff Hardy def. MVP (PHOTOS)
In a ghoulish match, ECW Champion Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy, & Rey Mysterio took on the frightening forces of Kane, Mark Henry & Montel Vontavious Porter. In the end, Jeff Hardy proved victorious; hitting the Ballin’ Superstar with the Swanton Bomb after his brother Matt delivered the Twist of Fate.

Jimmy Wang Yang def. The Brian Kendrick – DQ (PHOTOS)
Jimmy Wang Yang dressed up as the legendary “John Wayne Yang.” But after he hit the Moonsault and looked as if he would pin The Kendrick outright, it was Ezekiel Jackson who showed true grit. After pulling his associate out of the ring before the three-count could be completed – causing the disqualification – Jackson unleashed a devastating attack on the would-be Duke.

The Great Khali’s special Trick or Treat Edition of The Kiss Cam (WATCH | PHOTOS)
The Great Khali and Ranjin Singh hosted a very special Trick-or-Treat edition of Kiss Cam in which the Punjabi Playboy plucked one Beatrix “The Wicked Witch of San Diego” from the audience and knocked her off her feet with a very haunting Halloween kiss.

ANIMAL WILT GRAAG TERUGGAAN NAAR TNA OF WWE

The New York Daily News has an article on Joe Laurinaitis, better known as Road Warrior Animal. He says he'd like to return to either WWE or TNA in the role of a road agent to help the younger wrestlers. "I'd love to work for the WWE or TNA behind-the-scenes," Laurinaitis said, "not only to train the young talent but how to relate to the fans, which is so important." In the early 1980s, Laurinaitis was faced with his career path: pro football with the defunct USFL, or professional. Laurinaitis needed money at the time, so he chose pro wrestling and formed the Legion of Doom faction with Mike Hegstrand (a.k.a. Hawk) "Ole Anderson saw me with my friend Mike Hegstrand and said since we looked like twins so why not team up," Laurinaitis said. "Ole named (the team) but we named ourselves, me the bigger guy became Animal, and Mike, who liked to fly around the ring, became Hawk."

    Layla wordt Layla London

WWE diva getting a name change

WWE is advertising Layla as "Layla London" for future appearances. Reader Alice sent word that Raw is coming to her home state of Pennsylvania for a Raw brand house show in Hershey on December 26, and a match featuring Mickie James & Jamie Noble
vs. William Regal and "Layla London" has been announced. It's interesting to note that Layla wore what appears to read "LL" on her kneepads in her match on Monday's Raw.

TNA Star Taken To "Wrestler Court"

TNA Star Taken To "Wrestler Court"

    Source: ProWrestling.net

TNA star Sheik Abdul Bashir wound up in "wrestler court" after playing a rib on Kip James during a recent flight. Bashir told a flight attendant
to announce over the loud speaker that James was celebrating his 65th birthday, which did not go over as well as Bashir hoped. The elders of TNA's roster felt Bashir has not been around long enough to get away with a prank like that against a veteran.

Team 3D's Brother Ray served as the judge, B.G. James represented Kip, Brother Devon represented Bashir and Simon Diamond served as the bailiff. Bashir was found guilty and order to supply the locker room beer and booze, which he did on Tuesday night.

Wrestler court has been taken serious in the past but this was more of a laid back mock trial. One wrestler said, "It was a very good move for morale, which hasn't been the best lately."

Klik op de afbeelding om de link te volgen - ODB and Christy Hemme defeated The Beautiful People
    - Eric Young defeated "Cowboy" James Storm of Beer Money, Inc
    - The Motor City Machinguns beat Tanahashi and Volador
    - AJ Styles and Samoa Joe defeated Kevin Nash & Booker T of The Main Event Mafia
    - Abyss defeated Kurt Angle of The Main Event Mafia by disqualification

Highlights aired from last week's live broadcast... The new HD opening montage aired... A shot of the Impact Zone showed a cool video screen with the TNA logo and a light show on the stage...

A.J. Styles and Samoa Joe walked to the ring with mics in their hands. Styles said he's happy that Mick Foley is in TNA, but he said they would fight the battle on their own. He said he's been in TNA for six years. He said he's grown along with TNA. Styles ran through the wrestlers who make up the Main Event Mafia. He said three of the four were responsible for another company going out of business.

Styles complained that some of the younger wrestlers who he considers family didn't come out to help him and Joe last week. "They're not going to give you anything in TNA, you're going to have to take it," Styles said. He invited the younger wrestlers to come out and stand with him and Joe.

Jay Lethal's entrance theme played and he walked to the ring. Moments later, Consequences Creed, ODB, Eric Young, and Petey Williams came out and shook hands with Styles and Joe. Samoa Joe started to talk, but he was interrupted by the awful Motor City Machine Guns entrance music.

Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin entered the ring and said all the people were being brainwashed by Joe. He asked why they should fight in his war. Joe said it's "our war" and said they were either in or out. Joe said the war is about everyone's future. He said it's in the best interest of Sabin and Shelley to join them and fight the people who have kept him out of the main event picture.

Shelley responded that he wished Joe had a breath mint. Joe assumed Shelley was wondering what he'd done for him. Joe slapped Shelley across the face. Sabin held back Shelley.

The Main Event Mafia walked onto the stage wearing suits. Kurt Angle took the mic and said the wrestlers in the ring are disgraces to themselves, TNA, the fans, etc. Angle said the Mafia is a family. He received some cheers. Angle said his faction has over 75 years of combined experience. Kurt said they didn't ask for the war, they just wanted a thank you.

Kevin Nash took the mic and said he tried to teach Joe how to act. He brought up Scott Hall missing a pay-per-view way back when and said he missed it because Joe wasn't worth it. "In retrospect, he was right." Nash played on the old NWO line by saying that if they want a war, they've got a war.

After all the serious talk, Booker T took the mic and used his African accent. Booker said the war starts now and predicted that none of the wrestlers in the ring would be left by the end of the year. Booker held up five fingers and said, "It's all about the five." Mike Tenay and Don West wondered whether that meant there was going to be a fifth member...

[Q2] Backstage, Jeremy Borash asked Jeff Jarrett what he was going to do about the Mafia. Jarrett said he wasn't going to do anything. He said he was confident the young guys could handle it. Mick Foley entered the room and told Borash that he was going to have a chat with his old buddy Sting. Jarrett excused himself by saying he had to take "a Kurt"...

Backstage, Lauren tried to interview the Beautiful People and Cute Kip. Angelina Love pointed out that they were broadcasting in HD and therefore everyone at home can see every pimple and wrinkle on Lauren's face. Angelina mocked Christy Hemme for thinking she's a wrestler, and suggested she stick to Playboy. Velvet Sky questioned whether ODB is "a dude or a tranny." She said she's about as feminine as Rosie O'Donnell. All three cringed at the mention of Rosie's name...

    1. ODB and Christy Hemme defeated Velvet Sky and Angelina Love (w/Cute Kip) in 4:00. Love suffered the throat injury I mentioned earlier today when she took an elbow or a forearm to the throat from Hemme. She reached for her throat right away and then stayed on the ground even after she tagged out. She eventually got back and broke up a pin attempt by the babyfaces. In the end, ODB hit her finisher on Sky and scored the pin...

Backstage, Lauren asked the Guns about their beef with Joe, who showed up. Sabin said he wanted to wipe the slate clean. He said the Guns were willing to join Joe and his crew. Joe was skeptical. "When the guns are firing, we'll see if the Guns are shooting back," he said...

[Q3] Backstage, Jeremy Borash interviewed Eric Young about his decision to join Joe and Styles. Young dropped the nervous routine and played it straight...

    2. Eric Young defeated James Storm (w/Jacqueline, Robert Roode) in 2:25 The pryro didn't startle Young during his entrance for once. He looked back and smirked this time. Jacqueline debuted a new professional look. At 2:00, Young kicked out of the Eye of the Storm. Moments later, Roode spat beer toward Young, but he ducked and the beer sprayed Storm's eyes. Young rolled him up for the win. After the match, the Guns ran out and saved Young from a two-on-one attack...

A TNA Knockouts video aired... Backstage, Lauren caught up to Taylor Wilde and Roxxi, who were carrying weapons. Roxxi cussed while telling Lauren that they were going after Awesome Kong... [C]

An "I Am Suicide" vignette aired... At ringside, Tenay and West discussed the new look of the Impact Zone, which really does look sharp. They hyped Joe and Styles vs. Booker and Nash for later in the show, and Angle vs. Abyss as the main event...

Backstage, Jeremy Borash was about to interview Awesome Kong and Raisha Saeed when Taylor and Roxxie entered the room and attacked them from behind with weapons. They took out Saeed and then teamed up on Kong until she was left lying....

[Q4] [C] 3. Motor City Machine Guns defeated Tanahashi and Volador at 3:30. Sheik Abdul Bashir joined the announcers on commentary. He spent most of his time talking about how he deserves the same freedom of speech as everyone else. After the Guns pinned Volador, Bashir threw a fit on commentary because he wanted the international team to win. Bashir entered the ring and yelled at Volador. Rhino came out and gored Bashir... [C]

[Q5] Backstage, Lauren interviewed Christian Cage about Booker T's challenge. He accepted the match with the stipulation that he'll have to join the Main Event Mafia if he loses. Cage vowed to take Booker's title and said he'd remain on his own side...

    4. Samoa Joe and A.J. Styles beat Kevin Nash and Booker T (w/Sharmell) in 10:45. After 90 seconds of action, the match cut to commercial. [C]

[Q6] After 10 minutes of ho-hum action, Styles pinned Booker while Joe had Nash locked in his submission finisher. AFter the match, a group of younger wrestlers ran out to congratulate Joe and Styles...

Backstage, Lauren interviewed Abyss and Matt Morgan. Abyss said he was nursing a flesh wound. Mogran flipped out and said Abyss isn't mentally or physically read for the match with Angle... [C]

At ringside, the announcers previewed the rest of the show... Another Cross The Line video aired... Highlights aired from last week of the Mick Foley and Kurt Angle segment...

Backstage, Borash interviewed Sting, who said no one has confirmed for him that Foley is actually his boss. He said he hasn't talked to Foley in over 10 years and is entering their meeting with an open mind. "I just hope that he doesn't try to close it," Sting said... [C]

[Q7] Mick Foley walked to the ring with a mic in hand. He announced Kevin Nash vs. Samoa Joe, and Sting vs. A.J. Styles for the TNA Title at the Turning Point pay-per-view. Foley invited Sting to join him in the ring. Sting walked out wearing a suit and shades, and had the title belt draped over his shoulder.

Foley said he believes it was Sting who put him on the map back in 1991. He explained that he's wondered where his career would have gone had it not been for Sting because people didn't know Cactus Jack back in those days. Foley said he was surprised to see Sting aligned with the Main Event Mafia. Foley said there were young wrestlers who were trying to make a difference week in and week out.

Foley said Sting should be the glue that holds all the pieces together. He said Sting is acting like a wedge that's driving all the pieces apart. Sting said he wanted to be the glue, but what he had to say was rejected by Joe and Styles. Sting pointed out that Foley has respect for Terry Funk and said that's the type of respect that is missing in TNA. Foley said they had to agree to disagree. Sting agreed, but told Foley that it's not his war. "It's mine," Sting said before leaving the ring...

Backstage, Angle shoved Borash aside to cut his promo. Angle said he's obsessed with getting Jeff Jarrett back inside the ring. "I always get what I want," Angle said. He said he knows what makes Jeff tick. "And you don't want me to go there because you know I will," Angle said... [C]

The announcers ran through the pay-per-view lineup and added Sheik Abdul Bashir vs. Rhino, and Robert Roode and James Storm vs. Motor City Machine Guns for the TNA Tag Titles to the card...

[Q8] 5. Abyss defeated Kurt Angle by DQ at 11:45. The announcers spent time talking about how good Morgan is for Abyss. The wrestlers brawled into the crowd and the show cut to commercial. [C] After the break, the wrestlers were still brawling in the crowd. Abyss shoved Angle down the steps and then pulled some hair out of his own head. Ugh.

At 7:45, Angle clipped Abyss's knee and started working over his knee and ankle. The strands of hair that Abyss pulled out were stuck to the back of Angle's sweaty head in the unintentionally hilarious moment of the night. At 9:25, Abyss hit the Shock Treatment Backbreaker for a nearfall.

Later, Abyss went for the chokeslam, but Angle avoided it, slid through Abyss's legs, and caught him in the ankle lock. Abyss broke free and chokeslammed Angle for a nearfall. Angle came back with the Olympic Slam a short time later. Later, Angle headed to ringside, grabbed a chair, and struck Abyss with it for the DQ.

After the match, Angle continued to attack Abyss. He pulled his shirt up and clawed at his back. Matt Morgan ran out for the save. Morgan hit Angle with a big boot to the face. Booker T and Kevin Nash ran out and attacked Morgan.

Eventually, all the babyfaces ran out to help Morgan and Abyss. Scott Steiner walked out with the lead pipe and attacked the young guys from behind. Angle, Steiner, Nash, and Booker roughed up the young wrestlers as Sting walked out wearing a suit. Sting helped A.J. to his feet. Styles spat in Sting's face. Sting got pissed and hit the Scorpion Death Drop on Styles. The Main Event Mafia celebrated in the ring to close the show...

    PERRY SATURN VERMIST

    Former WWE/WCW star missing

    sources: www.f4wonline.com, Wrestling Observer Newsletter

No one seems to know where former WWE/WCW wrestler Perry Saturn is. Some of his closest friends actually believe he's not alive, but no one has proof one way or the other. At the funeral of Killer Kowalski, the whereabouts of Perry Saturn was the number one topic of conversation with a number of his friends saying they didn't believe he was still alive. Every few months or so, his friends ask Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer to do a missing persons search on him, but it always turns up with nothing.

Sting talks about his WWE dream match

Sting talks about his WWE dream match

    Source: TheSun.co.uk

The UK Sun has posted an interview with TNA World Champion Sting. Here are some highlights:

Sting says he expected to retire this year, but TNA's "Main Event Mafia" storyline has him excited about a final run in TNA: "I don't know when it will end for sure, but as long as I stay healthy
into 2009. But how far into 2009 I don't know. Actually it's over the last couple of years it seems the thought has been in-and-out... these thoughts of retirement and everything else but under the circumstances I think that I want to stick it out for one last – and this is THE last – hurrah."

Sting feels that a big part of TNA's potential growth depends on proper support from Spike TV, which he hints could be stronger. "The other thing I'm hoping for is a bigger commitment from our channel Spike TV and seeing them even further step up to the plate. I hope I don't get in trouble for saying that – this might be the last you see of me on TV!"

Although Sting says he's still like to have one dream match against The Undertaker, he has no desire to wrestle in WWE. "WWE (is) a worldwide, huge, massive machine and always have been. The guys that have had any kind of run up there are now recognized all over the world. If there was something missing in my career, that would be it."

Mark Henry, Chavo Guerrero & Bam Neely def. ECW Champion Matt Hardy, Finlay & Evan Bourne (Six-Man Tag Team Match)
    Jack Swagger def. Tommy Dreamer

SAN DIEGO – Just like they did last night on Raw (WATCH), John Morrison & The Miz hyped themselves in their upcoming encounter against D-Generation X on next week’s special three-hour Raw. (WATCH) (PHOTOS)

WATCH all of the action now in the ECW Quick Cut and check out WWE.com's exclusive ringside PHOTOS.

By showing a DX "mockumentary" on the Titantron and bringing in two DX imposters, Miz & Morrison thoroughly disparaged their soon-to-be opponents in a live edition of “The Dirt Sheet.” Even the hosts themselves questioned if they crossed the line.

Can “The Dirt Sheet” hosts back up their words, or will WWE Champion Triple H & Shawn Michaels prove why they remain one of the greatest tag teams ever? (Raw preview) (WATCH "The Dirt Sheet")

Mark Henry, Chavo Guerrero & Bam Neely def. ECW Champion Matt Hardy, Finlay & Evan Bourne (PHOTOS)
Despite facing each other just two days earlier at Cyber Sunday, ECW Champion Matt Hardy and Evan Bourne paired up, along with Finlay, for a six-man tag match. Their opponents included none other than Hardy’s nagging nemesis, Mark Henry, along with Chavo Guerrero & Bam Neely.

Toward the end of the bout, chaos ensued. Hornswoggle bit Mark Henry and leaped on top of WWE Hall of Famer Tony Atlas, sending him to the arena floor. Next, Finlay bashed Mark Henry over the head with his shillelagh. Guerrero capitalized on the mayhem by hitting Hardy with a Frog Splash from the top rope to get the win for his team.

Jack Swagger def. Tommy Dreamer (WATCH) (PHOTOS)
"The All-American American" Jack Swagger chalked up another win in the Land of the Extreme. This week it was 19-year veteran and ECW Original Tommy Dreamer who was on the receiving end of Swagger’s brutally effective gutwrench powerbomb.

    MIKE KNOX NAAR RAW

ECW wrestler Mike Knox is coming to the Raw brand. Last night on Raw, WWE ran a video package on Knox. At the end of the video package, the Raw logo was displayed next to his name. They aired a video package last week as well, but the Raw logo was not displayed. Knox defeated Jamie Noble in a dark match prior to last night's show.

CM Punk & Kofi Kingston def. World Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase to become the new champions

TUCSON, Ariz. – A mere 24 hours after you, the WWE Universe, made your voice heard at Cyber Sunday, Raw stormed into the desert of Arizona with new World Heavyweight Champion Batista. Big events were set in motion for the celebration of Raw’s historic 800th episode the following week, including a Steel Cage Match for the World Heavyweight Title between champion Batista and Chris Jericho, and the first-ever confrontation between D-Generation X and The Miz & John Morrison. WATCH all of the action now in the Raw Quick Cut and check out WWE.com's exclusive ringside PHOTOS.

World Heavyweight Champion Batista & Shawn Michaels def. Chris Jericho & JBL (PHOTOS | WATCH)
After Chris Jericho entered the ring for the night’s main event, live footage was shown of JBL mercilessly beating Shawn Michaels in the locker room area. Afterward, the self-proclaimed “wrestling god” emerged, smugly walking out to meet his partner. Due to the cowardly attack on HBK, World Heavyweight Champion Batista was forced to fend off both JBL and Jericho for much of the match. But proving that you can’t keep a good man down, Michaels emerged ready for action, giving his partner the help he needed to pin the Longhorn Loudmouth.

The Miz & John Morrison to face DX next week (PHOTOS)
As part of the three-hour Raw celebrating the program’s landmark 800th episode, The Miz & John Morrison will be taking on D-Generation X for the first time ever. Claiming they have surpassed Triple H & Shawn Michaels in their abilities and relevance, the self-proclaimed “chick magnet” and the Shaman of Sexy will host a special live edition of “The Dirt Sheet” on ECW this week to “break it down” further.

Rey Mysterio def. Evan Bourne (PHOTOS)
For the first time ever, in a special Raw-ECW match-up, Evan Bourne challenged Rey Mysterio in a match characterized by both Superstars’ high-flying abilities. Though “Air” Bourne put up an effort as valiant as his ECW Championship Match against Matt Hardy the night before, it wasn’t enough to get the win over the more experienced Mysterio. But the match’s victor was immediately confronted by Cyber Sunday fall-out, as Kane, bitter over his loss to the Ultimate Underdog, attacked Mysterio. Bourne didn’t escape mistreatment either, as Mark Henry brutalized him, seemingly angered by the WWE Universe having chosen the high-flyer to face Hardy.

Mickie James, Kelly Kelly & Candice Michelle def. Layla, Katie Lea Burchill & Jillian (PHOTOS)
Fresh off her win as Lara Croft in the Cyber Sunday Diva Halloween Costume Contest, Mickie James came to the ring, accompanied by Kelly Kelly & Candice Michelle for their match against the team of Layla, Katie Lea Burchill & Jillian. James continued her streak as her team dominated their opponents.

The “GlamaHaas” vs. Intercontinental Champion Santino Marella ended in a no-contest when “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, Goldust & Honky Tonk Man attacked Marella. (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Before either competitor came to the ring on Monday night, Jerry “The King” Lawler and Michael Cole were joined at the announce table by WWE Legends “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, Goldust & Honky Tonk Man, all three of whom were involved in Honky Tonk’s defeat of Intercontinental Champion Santino Marella at Cyber Sunday. As the trio of former Intercontinental Champions looked on, Charlie Haas emerged taking a page from Goldust’s book, playing with gender roles, and impersonating Marella’s girlfriend Beth Phoenix as The “GlamaHaas.” With the three WWE Legends angered by the Italian Superstar’s disrespect, they all became involved and Honky Tonk Man laid out the Intercontinental Champion with a well-placed guitar to the head.

CM Punk & Kofi Kingston def. World Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase to become the new champions. (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Though the WWE Universe didn’t vote for CM Punk & Kofi Kingston to compete for the World Tag Team Titles at Cyber Sunday, they had an opportunity to seize gold the night after on Raw as they took on champions Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase. Even with assistance from Manu, however, Rhodes & DiBiase could not stand up to the assault of their opponents, as Punk & Kingston took revenge on the “priceless” competitors. The former World Heavyweight Champion pinned DiBiase, making himself and the Jamaican Superstar the new World Tag Team Champions.

Adamle announced Chris Jericho’s rematch against Batista in a Steel Cage Match and slapped Randy Orton after being insulted by him. (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Former World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho came to the ring, furious at his Cyber Sunday loss to Batista, and blamed his losing the match on not only The Animal and special guest referee “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, but also Shawn Michaels, Mike Adamle and especially the WWE Universe. After Jericho invoked his rematch clause for a match against World Heavyweight Champion Batista the following week on the celebration of Raw’s 800 episodes, General Manager Mike Adamle emerged to grant the jilted former champion his request, making the contest a Steel Cage Match.

As Jericho stormed out, another bitter Superstar confronted Adamle, the convalescing Randy Orton. The night before, Adamle had sent the Legend Killer to the ring to act as an emergency referee, an action that resulted in Orton receiving a Stone Cold Stunner. He also blamed Adamle for his misfortune and went on to demand that Shane and Stephanie McMahon fire the GM, or else he will walk. Orton stepped over boundaries when he insulted Adamle’s family, however, causing the furious family man to strike the Legend Killer.

Candice Michelle is well aware of her negative Internet critics since her return and has decided to use it as a way to motivate herself into getting better. She was really upset with all the negative criticism online regarding her return and ring performance. She is said to be an extremely hard worker with a great worth ethic.

Live notes from WWE Cyber Sunday PPV

Live notes from WWE Cyber Sunday PPV

Thanks to Jake Altersitz for sending in this live report:

Not too much happened off camera, but here goes.

They let the fans in the arena around 4pm. People were pretty upset about that. Some had been waiting in line since 10am. And it's still pretty warm in Phoenix, it was in the mid 80s-low 90s. We got in and we started with the other male ring announcer (not Chimmell) welcoming us to the show. The place filled to about 85% capacity, the half of the upper deck above the cameras was tarped off. They ran a video package prior to the US Title match showing the WWE's popularity around the world. Both presidential candidates were in the video. McCain got booed and Obama got a huge pop. Kinda funny considering McCain is "from" Arizona. After the predictable US Title match Lillian sang the National Anthem. She has a phenomenal singing voice.

The fans weren't as hot or as into it as I expected. Usually Phoenix crowds are pretty good.
Most of the crowd was pretty shocked the Cryme Tyme-M&M match was picked. Most people expected the Tag Title match.

The crowd was dead during the divas competition.

Evan Bourne was over huge with the crowd.

People were really into the last 2 matches, I didn't see many people in their seats.

After the show Batista celebrated his title victory with Austin. They drank a whole case of beer. Austin gave a cheers so hard he knocked a beer out of Batista's hand. Batista posed with the belt for a bit, then walked up the ramp.

Then Lillian thanked everyone for attending, said "We love you Phoenix, good night!" And that was the end.

My friends and I ran into Todd Grisham in the parking garage. He's really nice guy.

    Biggest Pop:
    Stone Cold
    Jeff Hardy
    Triple H
    Evan Bourne
    Rey Mysterio

    Biggest Heat:
    Vickie Guerrero
    The Miz
Jericho (although it was split down the middle).

All in all, it was a great show!

Update on Edge's status with WWE

Update on Edge's status with WWE

Lance Storm had lunch with Adam "Edge" Copeland on Friday, and said he expects him back on WWE television relatively soon. I assume that means Copeland was in Calgary at the end of last week since that is the location of Storm's Wrestling School. Storm also stated on Wrestling Observer Radio Sunday night that Copeland is sporting a beard these days and with his hat looked like a "taller, skinner version of Evan Tanner."
