Dixie Carter comments on the "change" rumors
Posted by Corbin Nordhoff on 06/12/2010 at 01:11 AM

    Credit: PWInsider.com

When asked about the rumors circulating that there is going to be a creative change to TNA, Dixie Carter told Mike Johnson that the stories going around aren't correct. Carter said her surprise is about "true change" and it is something on a much larger, grander scale.

It's being said that nobody in TNA knows for sure what is going to happen expect for Carter herself.

Carter also said that this change wasn't designed to take place at Slammiversary, but apparently there is another surprise being teased for the PPV.

Thanks to Jarrett Cox of TNAStars.com for the following recap:

    Opening Segment

A music video to the tune of “Fractured” by Taproot plays that recaps the events of last week’s iMPACT. We cut straight to fireworks and Taz and Tenay, which plug Angle’s in ring return and Sting/RVD for TNA Slammiversary VIII.

AJ Styles comes out with Kazarian right behind him and Desmond Wolfe and Beer Money following the rear. AJ says that because of Hogan and Bischoff, they have an 8-man tag match tonight. AJ emphasizes that there is four to a team. He mentions there were 4 Beatles, The Fantastic Four, and the 4 Horsemen. AJ says he’s got a solution and it’s real simple: Kazarian is out. Kazarian throws a fit as AJ tells him to hit the bricks and call back next year.

Ric Flairs music blares but instead of Flair coming out, Jay Lethal comes out instead. Jay says that the Nature Boy is in the house and WHOOOOO!!! Did I hear AJ Styles say he’s in charge? Jay says that AJ isn’t the man and that he was. He says he looking at god right now. He says he’s wearing $500 shoes and a $5,000 suit. He tells AJ he should be ashamed of what he’s wearing. AJ tells him to look at the label and Lethal says it says Walmart ((The Walmart label is actually called “George” and when did he look in my closet??)) He takes off his jacket and throws it on the ground before dropping his elbow on it. Lethal says he’s a 16, 16, 16 time World Champion and he’s going to introduce his team. Jay says he specializes in big men and introduces Abyss. Lethal says as far as Chelsea goes: “She’ll be comin around the mountain buddy when she comes WHOOOOO!!!!” Next is the man so nice they named him twice, Mr. Anderson. Anderson does the strut with Lethal before he says the other “Anderson” ((Nice? I thought he was supposed to be an asshole)) AJ says he’s got all of these men behind him, except Kazarian, he doesn’t count, and he’s only got three guys. Lethal says the big man counts twice. Lethal says he doesn’t want to wait till later tonight and they go to the ring. The heels get advantage easy before Jeff Hardy’s music plays. Desmond waits at the ramp for him, but Hardy comes through the crowd and clears house.

Hervey-cam with Brian Kendrick, who’s meditating and now understands his purpose: he’s here in TNA to capture the X-Division Title.

    -Commercial Break-

    Brian Kendrick vs. Homicide

Before the bell rings Douglas Williams comes out and sits at the commentary desk. Homicide backs Kendrick to the corner and breaks clean, but Kendrick mouths off to Homicide and gets laid out. Homicide tries to tear his mouth open before laying him out again with a clubbing forearm to the back. Another face gouge, but Kendrick boots him in the gut on the break. Homicide starts wailing on Kendrick before going for the Cop Killa but Kendrick escapes and tries a charge but eats elbow. Homicide with a t-bone suplex for 2, then puts the boots to Kendrick and chokes him out with his foot. Homicide hits two facewashs and then a Michinoku Driver for only a 2 count. Homicide hits a few more offensive moves before choking Kendrick with his wrist tape. Homicide goes to the outside and gets in a toolbox, letting the fans decide whether he should use a hammer or a flathead screwdriver. Homicide gets in the ring, argues with the referee and Kendrick takes advantage by booting Homicide in the face and getting a three count. Winner by pinfall: Brian Kendrick

Backstage security is trying to hold back Brother Ray and Jesse Neal

    -Commercial Break-

Jesse Neal is in the ring calling Brother Ray out while Shannon Moore is trying to calm him down. Security blocks Team 3D from going in the ring with Brother Devon still trying to calm Ray down. Ray finally gets in the ring, with security standing in between Team 3D and Ink Inc. Ray tells Jesse to go ahead and say what he has to say. Jesse says that if Ray has a problem, to have the balls to settle it face to face and to stop laying them out and leaving cards on them. Ray says he doesn’t know what he’s talking about, but Jesse’s turned into an arrogant punk, and he needs to remind Jesse that he’s one of the most legit tough guys in the business and it’s getting to the point where he needs to take him out. Jesse says he always showed him respect, and Ray says he doesn’t need his accolades because he’s nobody, and before he came to Team 3D he was nothing more than a failure in the Navy. After Slammiversary, if Brother Ray has anything to do with it, he’ll be a failure in the wrestling business too. Ray calls Shannon a bitch and says that if he has something to say, then say it. Shannon says that the Book Of DILLIGAF says he’s a bully and a douchebag, then tells him to take his puppet and get out of here. Devon seems to take offense to that, but tells Shannon he’ll give him a pass on that. Jesse apparently gets a pass because they trained him, but Devon never liked Shannon from the beginning, but he understood the situation. Devon then turns around and tells Ray that he needs to get his head on straight and leave Jesse alone. Devon drops the microphone and walks off. Ray pauses to consider this, then suckerpunches Jesse from behind and runs off.

    -Commercial Break-

We come back to a replay of the Jeff Jarrett vs. Sting “match” from TNA Sacrifice last month and a plug for Jeff Jarrett commenting on Sting.

Before we go to commercial though, Eric Bischoff and Miss Tessmacher with Matt Morgan. Bischoff tells Morgan that Hogan is waiting with his tag Team Partner

    -Commercial Break-

Okay, we go to the Jeff Jarrett interview, which is spliced with video clips flashing us back in the Jarrett-Sting feud. Jarrett says that at Sacrifice, the guy we saw was not the Sting he’s known for years. Jeff says that Hogan coming to TNA was a blessing, but Sting doesn’t see it that way. Jeff has a special connection to Slammiversary, but now he’ll have to explain to his three daughters why he’ll be home instead of at Slammiversary this year. He promises that he’ll be back, and he’ll get his answers.

Morgan comes to the ring and waits on Hogan. ((Hopefully it will be quick and painless. Hogan and Morgan don’t interest me)) Hogan comes out and Morgan the biggest crybaby he’s ever seen. Hogan has never seen someone stab so many people in the back before ((What, your heel turn in WCW doesn’t count? You turned on an entire company)) If Morgan shook hands with the fans he’d steal their wallets ((Cryme Tyme reference in TNA?)) Hogan says everything he’s done is about to come back to him right now, and introduces his partner…Hernandez! Hernandez comes running down the ramp and dives over the ropes onto Morgan and starts kicking the crap out of him. Hernandez beats Morgan out of the ring, around ringside, and back in the ring and continues to physically annihilate Morgan. Hogan is on commentary and said that “what comes around goes around” and also he is making Morgan vs. Hernandez for Slammiversary. As Hernandez was leaving the Band comes out to defend the TNA titles.

TNA Tag Team Championships: The Band © vs. Matt Morgan & Hernandez

Matt Morgan is tied to a stretcher, as they were about to wheel him out. Eric Young covers Morgan to end the “match” Winner by pinfall and still the Tag Team Champions: the Band

We go backstage to Christy with Rob Van Dam, and she wants to know what RVD thinks of Sting’s recent behavior. RVD says his strategy’s the same, and he knows Sting wants the belt, but he’s going to have to come get it from him because he’s Rob…Van…Dam. Sting nails RVD from behind with the bat, chokes him with the bat, then stands over him and starts wailing on him with rights and lefts. Sting grabs the title belt and walks off as RVD is left lying.

    -Commercial Break-

They replay the attack on RVD from before the commercial break. RVD asks where his belt is, and Christy says Sting took it. RVD goes looking for Sting.

Kurt Angle comes to the ring and says that he’s going to wrestle Frankie Kazarian at Slammiverary, and Kazarian is an excellent X-Division wrestler. With that in mind, he asked a good friend of his to come out and face him tonight to help him prepare for Kazarian, and he told him to hold nothing back. Amazing Red comes out, shakes Kurt’s hand before the bell rings

    Kurt Angle vs. Amazing Red

Angle starts off the match by taking Red down with a shoulderblock, but Red catches him with an armdrag and a flying headscissors. Red reverses a German Suplex only to get caught in overhead belly to belly instead. Angle takes a charge but Red uses his momentum to send him to the floor. Red leaps off the apron with another flying headscissors on the floor, then rolls Kurt back in. Red goes for a springboard something, but Angle moves and Red crashes into the mat. Angle follows that up by flattening him with a clothesline. Angle keeps his momentum until Red reverses a suplex into a DDT. Red goes to the apron and gets a springboard DDT for a very close 2, but Angle comes out of nowhere with a German Suplex. The straps come down and Angle goes for the Angle Slam, but Red gets out and gets a Shining Wizard and a Frankensteiner ((That looked pretty bad, it drove Angle’s head right into the mat)) Red misses another high flying move and Angle hits the Angle Slam for the win. Winner by Pinfall: Kurt Angle

We go backstage to Sting, who says that he is in possession of the belt, but after this Sunday he’ll own it. Right now the word of the day is deception, and that’s what the belt represents right now: deception. He turns the belt around to show that he’s defaced it by scrawling the word “deception” across the front. Sting says that change is coming, and it’s Showtime. Sting gets a good chuckle. ((Leave it to face paint to make someone look so different, he doesn’t even look his age. I really hope he decides to stay another year. I love him as a heel))

    -Commercial Break-

We go to a video package hyping the history of TNA leading into Slammiversary, and we get comments from Dixie Carter, Hulk Hogan, Kurt Angle, Rob Van Dam, and Sting as they debate the World Title Match. We then run through the rest of the card and Dixie wraps us up by putting over the roster for all their hard work in building TNA into the brand it is today.

We’re backstage and following Rob Van Dam as he searches for Sting. He decides to head up to the rafters and search for Sting up there.

AJ Styles, Desmond Wolfe & Beer Money vs Jay Lethal, Abyss, Mr Anderson & Jeff Hardy

Lethal and Roode start and Roode with a knee to the gut and a forearm, then lays in a stiff chop on the ropes, but Lethal with a backwards handspring elbow. Lethal tags in Abyss and he starts working Roode over in the corner. Abyss tries a charge in the corner but Roode moves and Storm comes in to double team Abyss, Abyss goes for a double chokeslam, they fight their way out, but Abyss flattens both of them with a double clothesline and tags Anderson. Anderson works on the arm and then he and Hardy do some quick tags while continuing to target Storm’s arm. Hardy goes up for the 10 punches in the corner, then mares Storm for 2. Storm goes to the eyes and tags in Wolfe, but Hardy with a vertical suplex for 2. Styles gets tagged in and repeatedly rams his shoulder into the midsection of Hardy. Styles slams Hardy on the mat and drops the knee but only gets two. Wolfe tags back in and all three heels in the corner put up their boots so Wolfe can ram Hardy into them. He tries it again but Hardy reverses and Wolfe goes flying into the boots. Hardy gets caught in the corner, and gets stomped by Wolfe. Anderson and Lethal both try to help, but as the ref is trying to get them out of the ring the heels beat Hardy up. Beer Money hits a double suplex on Hardy and Roode blatantly chokes him before dropping a knee for a 2 count. Roode catapults Hardy into the bottom rope and covers for 2. Hardy tries to make a break for the corner but Beer Money gets him back down and Storm goes to a front facelock. Hardy makes the tag, but the referee was distracted by AJ Styles in the ring so he didn’t allow it. Styles tags in and puts the boots to Hardy, but Hardy hits a chinbreaker and spinkicks Styles. Jay Lethal comes in like a house of fire and beats up all the heels. Lethal with a backdrop and neckbreaker on Styles before Wolfe with a DDT on Lethal, but Anderson comes in and hits the Finlay Roll on Wolfe. Everyone comes in and hits their finishers, ending with Wolfe killing Abyss with a lariat. He tells Chelsea, sitting at ringside, to give him her chair, and she hesitates but Desmond ends up grabbing it from her…then turns around and gets the chair punched into his face by Abyss. Styles nails Abyss from behind and sends him to the floor. Lethal gets powerbombed and AJ holds on, getting the Styles Clash for a three count. Winners by pinfall: AJ Styles, Desmond Wolfe, and Beer Money

We go backstage to Sting, who says that he wasn’t going to make it easy for RVD because it’s all about deception, and he’s going to be right there waiting for RVD.

    -Commercial Break-

Backstage RVD is still looking for Sting. He finds him just as Sting jumps from behind him and proceeds to beat him with whatever isn’t nailed down, while he’s wearing the defaced title belt. RVD is able to fight back as they move toward the concession stand and RVD chokes Sting with the t-shirt rack. RVD rams Sting into the scaffolding under the bleachers as we get closer to the stage. Sting gets a shot in and rams RVD into a garbage can on the other side. They finally make their way out through the crowd and on the ramp that leads to the stage. Sting gains control until they get to the ring where RVD chokes Sting with his jacket. RVD yanks the belt off of Sting and uses his boot to choke him in the courner before hitting a basement dropkick. RVD goes outside and grabs a chair and wedges it in the corner. Sting recovers briefly and starts a comeback, but RVD superkicks him and Sting goes down. RVD comes in for the kill but Sting throws RVD into the chair, then takes it and slams it across RVD’s back. Sting reclaims the belt and grabs a mic. Sting tells RVD that the belt is deception and it’s his until Sunday, then he tosses the belt to RVD and walks off to close the show.

More on the rumors of Paul Heyman to TNA

More on the rumors of Paul Heyman to TNA

    Credit: PWInsider.com

As noted before, Dixie Carter has hyped some major changes coming to TNA on her Twitter account.

There has been a lot of talk that TNA has reached out to big names to work on the creative end of the company. It has been confirmed that two of those names are Kevin Sullivan and Paul Heyman.

Word is that if Paul Heyman would come into TNA, he would need complete control of the creative side of things. It's also confirmed that TNA has talked with Sullivan about coming in.

Is Paul Heyman TNA's big surprise?

Is Paul Heyman TNA's big surprise?

    Credit: prowrestling.net

According to Jason Powell, there is a story going around that TNA president Dixie Carter recently had a phone conversation with Paul Heyman. At this point, Carter has not confirmed or denied that they have spoken or that Heyman is the surprise she has been talking about on Twitter.

The fact that Carter mentioned speaking with Spike TV president Kevin Kay seems to indicated that the surprise is more than just the signing of a new wrestler.

Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston def. Luke Gallows

Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston def. Luke Gallows (PHOTOS | WATCH)
With his NXT Rookie Michael McGillicutty looking on from ringside, Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston brought the boom to The Straight Edge Society’s Luke Gallows in this volatile, non-title main event. With the beautiful, but dangerous Serena by his side, CM Punk’s most loyal soldier used his 300-pound frame to keep the high-flying Kingston on the mat for the majority of the match. But Kofi’s explosiveness simply couldn’t be stopped. When the big man went for Gallow’s Pole, the Intercontinental Champion reversed it into the S.O.S. for the 1-2-3. McGillicutty better have been taking notes.

Primo & Zack Ryder def. Goldust & Yoshi Tatsu (PHOTOS | WATCH)
It may seem like the experienced duo of Goldust & Yoshi Tatsu would have an advantage over the unexpected pairing of Primo & Zack Ryder, but consider this — both Primo & Ryder held the WWE Tag Team Titles in recent years. This championship experience paid off in tonight’s bout as the vicious Raw Superstars brought the fight to their bizarre opponents, double teaming and brawling on the outside of the ring to control the momentum. In the end, Long Island Iced Z hit Goldust with the Rough Ryder to pick up his second tag team victory of the week.

Alicia Fox def. Gail Kim (PHOTOS | WATCH)
In the wild Viewer's Choice Diva Battle Royal on Monday’s Raw, Gail Kim and Alicia Fox ended up eliminating each other in the dangerous fracas. Clearly, this was at the front of each Diva’s mind as they aggressively battled in the opening bout of “WWE Superstars.” Despite her experience and ring savvy, the gorgeous Gail had a difficult time stopping the young and hungry Alicia Fox. When the former Women’s Champion went for a high-risk maneuver, The Foxy Floridian knocked her off the top rope and nailed the axe kick to pick up an impressive win.

    Daniel Bryan ontslagen??

WWE posted the following on their website
    tonight:

WWE has come to terms on the release of NXT first season rookie Daniel Bryan (Bryan Danielson) as of today June 11, 2010. We wish Daniel Bryan the best in all future endeavors.

    - As noted before, the reason being told for Daniel Bryan's release is because of him choking Justin Roberts with his own tie during the NXT invasion angle on RAW.

Word is that someone very important complained to WWE officials about the angle with the idea that kids who were watching may think it's fun to choke people with their ties. It's unknown who actually complained but it had to be someone with a lot of power.

Bryan is being described as a scapegoat. WWE does want to bring him back to the roster once the whole thing blows over.

    - There is a lot of speculation right now regarding the WWE release of Bryan Danielson and if it's true or not. There has been some talk that it's a storyline and that "Daniel Bryan" will be returning as Bryan Danielson. It's interesting to note that WWE used both of his names in the release announcement and this would be the first time that they've used the website to announce a fake release.

Around the time that WWE announced it on their website last night, Danielson changed his Twitter username, dropped the WWE references on his page and wrote the following:

"Just changed my twitter name to Bryan Danielson. The winds of change are stirring."

Cena chokes Randy in an iron man match yet this is bad? Lol its simply a lie my god

John Morrison & Eli Cottonwood def. Zack Ryder & Titus O’Neil
MVP & “Showtime” Percy Watson def. Cody Rhodes & Husky Harris

TAMPA, Fla. – Season two of WWE NXT began with a bang Tuesday night. After the shocking events on Monday Night Raw, this season’s WWE Pros made it clear they won’t tolerate any misbehavior by the new NXT Rookies.

A look at the NXT season one Rookies' Raw invasion (PHOTOS | WATCH | WATCH: Season one NXT Rookies' attack on Raw)
The WWE Pros, the NXT Rookies and the WWE Universe took another look at the carnage caused the previous night by the season one NXT Rookies. The first WWE NXT graduating class made a surprise attack on Raw, destroying anything and everything in their path, including WWE Champion John Cena, WWE employees, announcers and the entire ring.

WWE NXT host Matt Striker offered the season two NXT Rookies a chance to offer their thoughts on the attack. Kaval called the season one NXT Rookies’ actions “unbelievable,” but he said that’s the way to make a statement in WWE. Lucky Cannon said they acted “cowardly,” but Eli Cottonwood believed Cena deserved the shocking assault.

Then, Striker officially “welcomed” the season two NXT Rookies to WWE. Just as WWE Pro and “Co-Women’s Champion” Layla looked like she’d offer Kaval a hug, she instead slapped her NXT Rookie, prompting a brawl. The WWE Pros tossed their protégés from the ring, as WWE Pro Mark Henry delivered a devastating World’s Strongest Slam to NXT Rookie Titus O’Neil. The WWE Pros sent a very loud and clear message – if any NXT Rookies wish to follow in the footsteps of the season one graduates, it will NOT happen in the season two WWE NXT ring under their watch.

MVP & “Showtime” Percy Watson def. Cody Rhodes & Husky Harris (PHOTOS | WATCH)
WWE Pro MVP paired with fellow Miami resident, NXT Rookie “Showtime” Percy Watson,” to take on WWE Pro Cody Rhodes and third-generation NXT Rookie Husky Harris. While the near-300-pounder Harris impressed with his athleticism in the ring, Rhodes seemed frustrated with his NXT Rookie. MVP and Watson’s chemistry was natural, and the flamboyant “Showtime” earned a win after pinning Harris. Afterward, MVP declared that “‘Showtime’ Percy Watson is ready for prime time.” Watson begins the season with a 1-0 record, while Harris starts at 0-1.

John Morrison & Eli Cottonwood def. Zack Ryder & Titus O’Neil (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Two NXT Rookies paired with their WWE Pros to kick off season two’s competition. NXT Rookie and former NFL player Titus O’Neil showed off his athleticism in the ring when paired with his WWE Pro, Zack Ryder, while NXT Rookie and former NBA player Eli Cottonwood revealed his intense side and earned his first win when paired with his WWE Pro, John Morrison. The Monday Night Delight welcomed O’Neil to WWE NXT with Starship Pain, securing his tag team victory. Morrison told the WWE Universe that he thought Cottonwood held his own in his first WWE NXT match, but WWE Pro The Miz wasn’t impressed: “I’m not entertained. You failed.” Cottonwood starts WWE NXT with a 1-0 record, while O’Neil’s record begins at 0-1.

The season two NXT Rookies and WWE Pros are introduced (PHOTOS | WATCH)
The WWE Universe was introduced to the eight new NXT Rookies and their WWE Pros on the season two premiere of WWE NXT. Tensions arose quickly, though, when the eight NXT Rookies entered the ring and their competitive sides came out.

In season two of WWE NXT, only 50 percent of the evaluation lies with the WWE Pros. The WWE Universe’s votes will account for the other 50 percent, as YOU will help choose WWE’s next breakout star.

Also, season two will only be 12 weeks long. In just three weeks, the results of the first WWE Pros’ Poll will be revealed, and the WWE Universe will vote in the first WWE.com Poll. Then, in just six weeks, the first NXT Rookie will be eliminated! Who will go on to be crowned the winner of season two of WWE NXT and earn a pay-per-view match against the champion of his choice?

Report: McMahon shows up at TV w/ black eyes
Posted by Roscoe De Soto on 06/09/2010 at 08:50 PM

    Credit: F4WOnline.com

According to a report by Dave Meltzer, Vince McMahon showed up at WWE's TV tapings this week with two black eyes and a cut over one eye that went to his forehead. Nobody seemed to know what happened. Everyone was talking about it privately but nobody wanted to say anything out loud for fear they might be heard.

Vince never addressed it and if anyone did ask Vince what happened, they weren't telling what he said. It was described as looking like he got in a fight or some kind of accident. Most figured he was in an accident because if it were a fight, it would be hard to keep that quiet.

Nieuws over SmackDown! vs Raw 2011 (zonder ecw)

Video game website Gamespot.com recently sat down with THQ and got a first look at WWE's SmackDown vs. RAW 2011 video game, set to be released this Fall. Here are some of the new features in this year's game:

    - There is a new physics system that will makes weapons much more realistic.

    - The TLC match especially will be enhanced. For example, instead of crashing through a table looking exactly the same every time, the table will break in different ways based on how you land. Ladders will also bend and break depending on where they are impacted.

    - You will also be able to lean the ladders up on the ring and in the corners, among other places.

    - New effects with a steel chair will let you throw the chair at your opponent.

    - You will be be able to have as many as six tables in a match.

“Yes, sir, we promised you a great main event…”

-Here we go. We kick things off immediately with Bret Hart's music playing. Here comes Bret Hart and Teddy Long. Coleslaw welcomes us in. Hart welcomes us to the very first ever Viewers Choice Edition of Monday Night Raw. For the first time ever, we can go to WWE.com to vote for the matches and stipulations. Teddy thanks Bret for inviting him to Raw. They know that the WWE Universe is in control of wrestlers from both Raw and Smackdown, and we can even decide the fate of the WWE Championship. Everyone who is involved in the Fatal Four Way for the WWE Championship is in action tonight, and we decide who their opponents are. Teddy wants to talk about Randy Orton. Here comes the man himself though.

Orton comes out with the sling on. We get a recap of Edge taking out Orton's shoulder last week. He says he wants Bret to forget about the Viewers Choice as he has a choice for Bret. He wants Edge, and he wants him tonight. Either Bret will give him to him, or Orton's gonna find him and take care of him himself. Edge thinks he can take him out, well Orton's gonna make sure he takes Edge with him. Edge comes out on the stage.

Edge says lets give Orton what he wants, so he can finish what he started. Teddy interrupts him. He whispers something in Bret's ear. Bret says he likes that. Since it's Viewers Choice, they're gonna let everyone in the arena decide. Teddy says it's going to be Miami's choice tonight. Edge will face Orton in either a debate, a sit up contest, or a match where one of Edge's arms is tied behind his back. Edge says no and that Teddy can't do that. Bret runs down the options. The crowd surprisingly likes the match the most (I personally would have gone with the debate). The people have spoken. Bret wishes Edge luck as Edge walks off. Teddy now introduces the first Viewer's Choice match of the night. Chris Jericho vs The Big Show. We will decide what type of match they will have. A Over the Top Rope Challenge, a Submission match, or a Body Slam Challenge. Oh boy. Go to WWE.com right now to cast your vote, and when we come back, the results will be revealed. Here comes Big Show right now as we head to commercial.

-We're back and Cole and Lawler run down the stipulations. Matt Striker is at ringside with the results. Striker says it's time to find out what we chose. Body Slam Challenge wins with 48%. Show looks happy.

Match 1 : Big Show vs Chris Jericho - Body Slam Challenge

Jericho looks pretty scared. Show waves to Jericho before they get started. Show wants a hug. Jericho slaps him. Headbutt by Show and here we go. Show with the chops in the corner. Jericho avoids Show in the corner. Jericho goes for a slam but Show clubs him in the back. Another headbutt by Show. Show signals for the punch. Jericho bails out. Show grabs him by the hair and lifts him onto the apron. Jericho drapes the arm over it. Jericho locks the arm up in the apron now and starts tugging on it. Show pushes him off, and Jericho dropkicks the arm. Jericho now kicking the arm. Now he's punching it. Show goozles Jericho. Jericho rakes the eyes and goes to the second rope. Show chops Jericho on the way down. Jericho goes for a crossbody but gets caught. Slam by Show and it's over.

Winner : Big Show (It's a body slam challenge. I don't know what else to say)

Show locks in that modified camel clutch. Jericho's tapping out. It's said that Show has now won by submission? What the hell? I'm confused. Show now tosses Jericho over the top. Show's music plays him off.

-We get a shot of Miami as Cole and Lawler hype up another match. The Hart Dynasty will either face John and Jey Uso, the Dudebusters, or Great Khali and Hornswoggle.

We hear from the Uso's. They say they've left the Dynasty laid out for the past two weeks. The Dudebusters say we'll become better people by voting for them. Khali raises his hands high, and so does Hornswoggle.

-We're back and Lawler hypes up some WWE.com thing where WWE Superstars talk about their High School memories. Can't miss stuff.

-Khali and Hornswoggle win with 54% of the vote. Oh god.

Match 2 : Unified Tag Team Champions The Hart Dynasty (w/ Natalya) vs The Great Khali and Hornswoggle

Khali and Kidd start things off. Kidd with the kicks to the leg, but runs right into a clothesline. Khali throws Kidd into the corner. Elbow by Khali followed by a chop. Delayed slam by Khali follows. Khali tags in Hornswoggle. He goes to the top. Tadpole Splash misses. David takes out Khali. Tyson covers Hornswoggle and that's all.

Winners : The Hart Dynasty (I honestly don't know what to say other than this match did not need to take place at all. This was a lame excuse for getting Hornswoggle on TV)

Post match sees the Uso's run out, and we have a massive brawl. Hart Dynasty comes out on top though as they send the Uso's packing.

-Lawler says he has a problem. He gets up and leaves. Cole has no idea what's going on. Cole talks about the Undertaker and a recap of Smackdown follows.

-We come back and Cole says the cast of the A-Team is here next.

-We're back and Justin Robert introduces the cast of the A-Team. Everyone except Liam Neeson. Cooper comes out first. He says he was supposed to be joined by Rampage and Copley, but he doesn't know where they are. He plugs the movie and says they've got a great show in store for tonight, and walks off. Well at least we know he's in the building.

-We see King backstage, saying he's looking for somebody. Rampage and Copley take him into a room. Rampage and Copley say King's an officer. King says someones stolen his crown. Copley says they'll retrieve it. Rampage says he watches Raw all the time, and says he thinks he know who dunnit. They leave and walk right into the Bella's. Rampage says he's BA. Copley says he's Murdoch. They walk off. One of the Bella's say they loved District 9. Copley says he never saw it, but thought it was greatly acted and other stuff.

-Here comes Santino Marella. Marella's going to face Kozlov in either a match, arm wrestling competition, or a dance off.

-Dance Competition wins by 84% (I think).

-Santino says he was Backstreet Boy #6, so this one is in the Banks.

Match 3 : Santino Marella vs Vladimir Kozlov - Dance Competition

I don't know if this is a match, but I'm going to count it as one. Santino starts and does some weird stuff. Some rolls, a split, a Carlton like dance, the Cobra, and some other weird stuff. I can't believe I'm recapping this. Vladimir says something in Russian. He then says he's more strong and faster. Here comes Kozlov. Remember when this guy was facing Triple H for the WWE Championship. I didn't thnik so. God this is weird. Vintage Kozlov. I don't even know how to recap that. Striker asks the crowd who one. Santino, for the first time in months, gets booed. They cheer Kozlov. Striker declares him the winner. He and Kozlov do some weird shit, Santino spins around like an idiot. He tells Kozlov to catch him and he jumps at Kozlov. Kozlov hits him with a headbutt to the chest that lays Santino out.

Winner : Vladimir Kozlov (I don't know what to say)

-We see the Diva's backstage. We're going to have to vote for either a 6 on 6 tag match, battle royal or champion vs champion.

-We get a recap of NXT. Tomorrow night is the season premier of NXT Season 2.

-We're back, and here comes the Diva's as they all line up on the stage. Lawler calls our attention to the titantron as we await the results. The Battle Royal wins with 73%.

    Match 4 : Diva's Battle Royal

All of the Diva's are in the ring. I hate recapping Battle Royals. Massive brawl to start things off. The Bella's catapult Rosa through the ropes, thus eliminating her. Tiffany with mounted punches to Michelle in the corner. Layla runs up and pushes her out. Michelle and Layla work down Kelly in the middle of the ring. Kelly goes for the float over, but Layla pushes her onto the apron. Michelle eliminates Kelly. Hurricanrana by Gail to Alicia. Alicia sets up Gail on the ropes. Gail with a hurricanrana, eliminating herself and Alicia. The Bella's eliminated simultaneously by Team Laycool. Eve with clotheslines, taking out Laycool. This is getting really sloppy. Eve throws Layla into Michelle, eliminating them both. It's down to Maryse, Jillian and Eve. Maryse and Jillian work down Eve. Eve tries to fight them off but can't. Eve gets eliminated in anti climatic fashion. Jillian and Maryse high five. Maryse kicks her in the gut and throws her out.

Winner : Maryse (And the single Vince Heads continue. I hate Battle Royals, and this was really sloppy to boot)

-Cole and Lawler recap the happenings of the night. Oh man, I forgot this was 3 hours. They talk about how it's Edge vs Orton tonight.

-We see Sheamus walking in the back. He sees Kane. Kane says the fact Sheamus isn't on Smackdown means nothing to him. Because he took out Triple H, he thinks he may have taken out Undertaker too. Sheamus says if he did take out Undertaker, he would brag about it. When he took out Triple H, he made sure everyone was watching. He doesn't do sneak attacks (Wait, what? Didn't he take out Triple H from behind at Extreme Rules?). Kane says he doesn't take kindly to liars and hopes he sees Sheamus again real soon.

-Sheamus is going to face either Kane, Mark Henry or Evan Bourne tonight.

-TobyMac's "Showstopper" is the theme song for Fatal Four Way.

-We get a recap of the main event of last week. 88% for Kane. Wow, Bourne got like 9%. That sucks.

Match 5 : Sheamus vs Kane

Kane with a knee and an uppercut to start. He throws Sheamus to the outside and works him down out there. Kane throws him back in the ring and goes to the top. Sheamus crotches him. He then hits him with a running powerslam. Pin but only two. That's the first pin of the night that's had a kick out. This match will continue as we go to commercial.

We're back and Sheamus takes Kane down. Pin but only two. Sheamus with a crossbow submission. Kane counters and hits a boot to the face of Sheamus. Uppercut by Kane, and he follows up with rights. Clothesline in the corner, and he hits a sidewalk slam. Basement dropkick to the face of Sheamus. Pin but only two. Kane goes up to the top. Clothesline connects. He goozles Sheamus. Sheamus fights out but gets goozled again. Sheamus counters and hits a reverse DDT/backbreaker type move. Kane avoids a Bicycle Kick and throws Sheamus to the outside. Sheamus gets back in but gets goozled again. Chokeslam connects. Sheamus rolls to the outside though. The count is on. Sheamus gets on the apron but decides that he's had enough. That's enough for the count out victory for Kane. Kane is pissed.

Winner : Kane (Finally, a watchable match. This wasn't bad, actually it was kind of better than I expected, but it was still too short to be anything better)

-Lawler and Cole hype up the match between Orton and Edge. It'll be Edge with one hand tied behind his back. John Cena will face either Jack Swagger, Rey Mysterio, or CM Punk. That actually sounds good.

-We come back to a video package of Wade Barrett. We get a interview with him now. Wade says that the result of the show was never in question, and just the start of something greater. He said that in one weeks time, he's going to accomplish something that no one has accomplished in the entire history of the WWE.

-Dibiase is with Virgil, saying he should be running the show. Rampage and Copley interrupt, accusing Dibiase of stealing the crown. Dibiase asks why they think he would want some stupid crown. Copley stops Virgil, and says he's going to bring out the lie detector test. Rampage gets in his face, and says he's the test. He's going to punch him in the face until he tells the truth. IRS says that the crown is his now since Lawler didn't pay his taxes. Dibiase says he knows they're the A-Team. There's a gas. They all put on gas masks. Copley says he's immune to gas and passes out while the other guys run away. Wait, what the fuck was that?

-R-Truth will team with either Christian, MVP or Morrison while Miz will team with Ziggler, Regal or Ryder as they face off in tag action.

-We're back, and here comes R-Truth. Truth says the fans are what's up. It's up to the fans to pick his tag team partner. He wants to know who it is. Here we go. Is it Christian...MVP...or John Morrison. And it's.... John Morrison with 54%. Say what? I'm a Morrison fan, but I thought it would've been Christian for sure.

-We see King vote for William Regal. AWESOME!!! Here comes The Miz. Miz congratulates R-Truth. They also voted for Khali and Hornswoggle to tag, and then for Kozlov to dance. They obviously don't know what they want. He doesn't care who his partner is, because he's going to beat Truth, and then the first chance he gets, he's taking back his title. He's The Miz, and he's AWESOME!!! Is it Dolph Ziggler...William Regal...or Zack Ryder. 45% for Zack Ryder. That's kind of surprising although I'm pretty sure these votes are fixed, but still.

Match 6 : John Morrison and United States Champion R-Truth vs Zack Ryder and The Miz

Miz and Truth start things off. Tie up to start, and Miz throws Truth to the mat. Truth ducks under, jumps over and hits a hiptoss. Tag to Morrison. Double hip toss to Miz. Tag back to Truth as they hit Miz with a double suplex. Pin but only two. Truth gets distracted and turns right into a fucking nasty boot to the jaw. DDT by Ryder. Pin but only two. Tag back to Miz. Huge kick to the gut by Miz. Miz then boots Truth in the head. Pin but only two. He now locks Truth in a sleeper. Truth fights out and hits a backsuplex. Miz grabs Truth's leg, but gets pushed off and lost his shoe in the process. Hot tag to Morrison. Clotheslines to Miz and he hits that flying kick. Huge knee to the jaw of Miz. Pin but Ryder breaks it up.Truth takes it to Ryder, and then Miz. Ryder backdrops Truth over the top. Flying Chuck to Ryder. Miz avoids Morrison in the corner and the Skull Crushing Finale connects. Forget about it.

Winners : The Miz and Zack Ryder (Alright match here. It wasn't anything great, but it wasn't bad. Miz and Ryder seem like a natural fit as a team due to their gimmicks, but Miz really doesn't need to be put back in the tag division)

-We see Edge complaining to Bret in the back. Kane gets in Bret's face and asks if he took out Undertaker. HAHAHAHAHAHA!! Seriously? Do they expect us to believe a 50 year, almost crippled Bret Hart took out a 300 plus pound active wrestler? Kane said Bret came back for closure. Was it jealousy or was it that Taker's legend has surpassed Bret's. If he finds out it was Bret, he will be in a vegetative state, just like Undertaker.

-We're back, and here comes Edge.

Match 7 : Edge vs Randy Orton

The stipulation to this match is that Edge will have one arm tied behind his back. We get a recap of Orton RKOing Edge last week, only to later be taken out by Edge. Orton comes out with a sling on. The ref ties Edge's left arm behind his back.

Orton goes for a shot, but Orton ducks. Both guys with a feeling out process. Orton dodges a boot and hits a clothesline. And another. Orton with the stomps all over Edge now. He drops a knee to the face. Orton wants to finish this early. He goes for a RKO, but Edge pushes him off and hits a clothesline. Edge undoes the rope and starts to beat Orton down in the corner. He refuses to stop. The ref calls it.

Winner : Randy Orton (This was used purely to advance the rivalry between these two. I've got no complaints)

Edge doesn't seem to care though. He wants a Spear. Orton counters with a kick to the chest, and then boots Edge out of the ring. Orton goes after him. Edge hits Orton in the arm with a chair. He then hits Orton in the back of the shoulder with a chair. Edge walks off as Orton screams in pain.

-Cole and Lawler recap the happenings of the night for like the 8th time. They hype the Cena match before we go to commercial.

-We see Cena in the back with Bourne. Bourne thanks Cena, but Cena thanks him, because Bourne showed him he's one of the toughest and most energizing superstars. Savannah asks him about not knowing who is opponent is tonight. Cena say's his life is crazy right now, as everything is in question as of late. The fans make decisions that are fair and true. Cena says he feels good, because he's not gonna have to wait and see if his name is gonna be called. He fells good because the Cenation is about to see what he does on Monday Night Raw.

-We see Copley in the back, not knowing what happened. Mean Gene asks him the same thing. He calls him Charcoal. Copley says he lost B.A. Gene says he's a well respected actor, B.A. is gone, and he's got a problem. Copley says his resilience to gas is not what it used to be. Gene says he's got a chance to outshine the original. Gene says the clown that replaced him is horrible. Matthews is standing right behind him. Gene says he's got a chance to blow the television show right out the water. Copley thanks him and runs off. Gene calls Matthews a loser.

-Oh good, here comes Drew McIntyre.

We see Teddy on the big screen. He reminds us that it's Viewer's Choice night. Drew will either face Yoshi Tatsu...Goldust...or a mystery opponent (who's clearly Matt Hardy).

-We're back, and Striker directs us to the titantron. 88% for the mystery man. And it's Matt Hardy. Hardy shouts out we got em'. Here we go.

Match 8 : Drew McIntyre vs Matt Hardy

Hardy looks pissed. Drew tells the ref to back him up and that the match is not happening. He says Hardy is suspended, and Drew made sure of that. Teddy comes out. He says Matt Hardy was suspended from Smackdown, but not Raw, so this match is going to take place.

Hardy with a huge right, and here we go. Hardy takes down Drew and hits him with the rights. The ref pulls Hardy off. Hardy clotheslines Drew over the top. He then slams him into the announce table. He then throws Drew into the barricade, and then into the ring post. Back in the ring now as Hardy runs right into a boot to the face. Matt avoids Drew in the corner as Drew flyis into the ring post shoulder first. TWIST OF FATE!! It's over!!!

Winner : Matt Hardy (The match was nothing more than a squash, but it advanced the angle between these two and Hardy finally gets the upper hand for once. Good enough for me)

Matt's not done as he's slamming Drew's head into the mat. He shoves the ref off him and won't stop. He pulls out some of Drew's hair as Drew bails out.

-We see Rampage in the back handcuffed to a chair. Dibiase, Virgil, and IRS have kidnapped him. Dibiase says Rampage will get his answers and that they're going to the ring.

-We're back and Rampage is handcuffed to the ropes. Dibiase says B.A. is probably wondering why they're doing this. He says because everyone has a price, even him (Dibiase). Someone called Dibiase and said that someone wanted B.A. on a silver plater. Dibiase named his price, and cashed in. WAIT!! RODDY PIPER IN DA HOUSE!!!

Here comes Piper. He says B.A. Baracus. Somethings up with his mic. He says at the first Wrestlemania, all he heard was the A-Team was the hottest show on television and that Mr. T was the biggest star in the world. Well he silenced Mr. T. And now, you, Mr. T. He has to start all over again. A-Team, the movie. The biggest movie this movie this summer. He says everyone is asking Piper if he's gonna see the A-Team. No, he's not. Because every time you think you got all the answers, he changes the questions. He's going to do the whole world a favor. He's going to beat the mow hawk of Mr. Bad Attitude tonight, because he pities the fool who messes with Hot Rod. But wait. Here comes Copley, being ridden to the ring by Dusty Rhodes and Mean Gene. Rampage fights IRS and Virgil off, and then breaks the handcuffs (it was clearly a prop). SPINEBUSTER TO DIBIASE!! Dusty with the elbow to IRS. Rampage chokeslams Virgil down. Mean Gene congratulates the A-Team. He asks them how they did it. Copley says it was because of Mean Gene. He says he thought of Dusty Rhodes, so he called him. Dusty says it's great when a plan comes together. They all raise their hands to finally end this.

-Cole hypes up the Cena match again as we head to commercial.

-Next week, Mark Feuerstein of Royal Pains gust hosts.

-King tries to vote for Mysterio, but his computer's frozen. He finally got it.

-We're in the back with all three guys. Matthews asks Rey why he thinks he should be competing with Cena. Rey says Cena's the top dog on Raw, and he's the top dog on Smackdown, and that he can beat Cena. Swagger says that it's World Champ vs World Champ, it's Monday Night vs Friday Night. He lives for matches like this. CM Punk says Matthews always asks the stupidest questions. Punk asks why Cena would want to face the Straight Edge Savior. Punk says it's because he can make Cena a better person. He will defeat John Cena, and he will join the SES, and the entire universe will know that Straightedge means he's better than you.

-Punk wins the poll!!! I didn't catch the percentage, but I'm kind of surprised Punk actually won.

Match 9 : WWE Champion John Cena vs CM Punk (w/ Serena and Luke Gallows)

Tie up to start. Cena tries to rip off the mask, and Punk bails out. Punk gets back in and kicks the legs. Headlock by Punk. Cena pushes him off and hits a shoulder block. Loud "You Can't Wrestle" chant. Cena with a takedown and he locks in the sleeper. Punk flips Cena over and locks in a headlock. Cena with a leg scissors but Punk fights his way out. Cena goes for the mask and Punk again bails out. Punk gets back in and kicks Cena in the gut. Knees by Punk now, and now shoulder blocks in the corner. Snapmare by Punk, and he dropkicks Cena in the back of the head. Pin but Cena kicks out. Punk wraps the legs around John's head for a submission. Cena fights out into a STF attempt, but Punk's too close to the ropes. Cena ducks a clothesline and hits the rights. Bulldog by Cena. He runs off the ropes but Gallows trips the leg as we head to commercial.

We're back and Punk has Cena in a sleeper. Cena counters into a FU attempt, but Punk counters that into a DDT. Pin but only two. Punk now throws Cena out of the ring. Serena punts him in the gut. Punk with a kick to the back. Punk now throws Cena back to the inside. Kick to the chest, and then one to the back. Punk kicking Cena all over. Cena with the huge blows to Punk. Shoulder block 1 connects, shoulder block 2 connects, and there's the slam. Wade Barrett comes out now. Cena hits Punk with the Five Knuckle Shuffle. Attitude Adjustment coming up, but Cena lets Punk down as Barrett slowly walks to the ring.

Winner : No Contest (Alright match here, but it was used to set up the post match)

Wait, the NXT Rookies are everywhere, and they're taking out the SES. They surround the ring as Cena stands alone. They all make their way in. This is awesome. Otunga kicks the ref to the outside. Cena goes after one of them, and they're all beating down Cena. They're all beating down Cena. Skip boots Matt Striker. Gabriel and Slater take out Lawler. Slater is going ape shit. Sheffield knocks the announce table over. Young is destroying the barricade. He just took out the time keeper. Some guy runs out but they take him out. This is madness. The rookies are now taking the ring apart, literally. They're pulling apart the ring ropes and taking the canvas off. Cena tries to fight back but Tarver takes him out. Otunga with the spinebuster to Cena. Slater picks Cena up and throws him into a clothesine by Darren Young. Young picks up Cena and throws him into a clothesline from Slater. Punk tries to take them out, but gets beaten down. Slater and Young pick Cena up and throw him into a huge clothesline from Sheffield. Slater grabs the ring rope and tries to choke Cena with it. Bryan yells at Cena, saying Cena's not better than him. Bryan then hits Cena with a huge kick to the back. Barrett picks Cena up and hits that rolling fireman's carry slam. 450 by Gabriel connects. All of the rookies now leave the ring as Cena plays dead in the ring. The medics come in to check up on him. They bring out a stretcher and put John onto it. We get a shot of around ring side, and there are bodies everywhere. John gets pushed out by the medics. He gives a thumbs up as he's being rolled out. That's how we're gonna end it. So, for as bad as Raw was, this was a pretty awesome way to end it.

WWE Begins A Major Angle On RAW With NXT Rookies

WWE began a major storyline at the end of this week's RAW with the NXT season 1 Rookies. The angle began when Wade Barrett appeared on the ramp during the main event of John Cena vs. CM Punk.

Then the other seven season 1 Rookies - Daniel Bryan, Michael Tarver, Skip Sheffield, Darren Young, Heath Slater, Justin Gabriel and David Otunga - all appeared from the crowd and surrounded the ring. All Rookies were wearing black armbands with a yellow "N" on them.

The Rookies proceeded to beat up the Straight Edge Society, John Cena, the WWE announcers and crew members working at ringside. They destroyed the ring and the announcer's table, leaving the whole ringside area torn up.

It will be interesting to see where WWE goes from here. The angle sparked interest among fans as soon as it happened with NXT trending on Twitter, among other surges in traffic. Our website traffic this week immediately following RAW was off the charts. We were at post-PPV night traffic which never happens after RAW. We usually get a decent increase following RAW but nothing like what we had this week.

Rey Mysterio won the SmackDown Battle Royal and qualified for the World Heavyweight Championship Match at Fatal-4-Way

DALLAS – After a brutal weekend attack by an unknown assailant left The Undertaker “unresponsive to medical attention” – and unable to compete at the upcoming WWE Fatal 4-Way – Rey Mysterio overcame the SmackDown roster to capture the ominous Superstar’s place at WWE’s newest pay-per-view.

SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long sent shockwaves throughout the WWE Universe, informing SmackDown that over Memorial Day weekend, The Undertaker was found by his brother Kane “in a vegetative state,” following a vicious assault of unknown origins.

Since The Deadman will no longer be able to be part of the World Heavyweight Championship Match at Fatal 4-Way, the quick-thinking GM determined that every Superstar on the roster would have an opportunity to take his place in a special SmackDown Battle Royal.

When the smoke cleared in the high-stakes match of mayhem, it was Rey Mysterio who stood in triumph. Ironically, out of all the Superstars that fought for the coveted championship opportunity, it was The Demon of Death Valley’s brother Kane whose feet were destined to hit the floor last. Just when it looked as if The Big Red Monster was ready to hurl Mysterio from the ring with the chokeslam, The Ultimate Underdog countered, sending the frightening Superstar over the top rope and out to the arena floor.

As a result of his monumental victory, Mysterio will take the vacant spot in the SmackDown World Title main event at Fatal 4-Way in just more than two weeks. (Match preview)

Kelly Kelly def. Rosa Mendes (PHOTOS | WATCH)
With the self-professed “co-Women’s Champions” Layla & Michelle McCool looking on, Kelly Kelly, who has continued to show her potential for Friday night greatness, defeated the lovely Rosa Mendes with her high-powered K-2 legdrop.

Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston def. Drew McIntyre in an Intercontinental Championship Match (PHOTOS | WATCH)
One week after a letter from WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon brought about the suspension of Matt Hardy, the temporarily banished Superstar bought a ticket to the SmackDown show in Dallas. He arrived just in time to watch Drew McIntyre exercise his rematch clause against Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston.

With a war torn Kofi lying outside the ring, the “Chosen One” suddenly turned his attention away from the match, swinging his fist into the crowd to backhand Hardy without warning. The commotion that ensued as Hardy tried to fight through security, allowed a rejuvenated Kingston to hit the SOS on McIntyre and retain his title. Moments later, Hardy jumped into the ring and executed the stunning Twist of Fate on the defeated No. 1 contender.

World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger def. MVP (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Immediately after Jack Swagger utilized a roll up to gain an extremely hard-fought victory over MVP, Curt Hawkins and Vance Archer emerged from nowhere to make their mark on The Franchise Playa. Focused on causing an impact before their limited WWE contract runs out, The Dude Busters delivered a swift yet decisive attack on The Ballin’ Superstar, leaving him reeling on the canvas.

Kane pledged to bring vengeance to those responsible for attacking The Undertaker (PHOTOS)
An intensely disheveled Kane came before the WWE Universe to lament the fall of his brother The Undertaker. Claiming that The Phenom may very well be gone forever, The Big Red Monster vowed to execute “swift, decisive vengeance” on any and all parties responsible for the “heinous assault” on the ominous Superstar. He then unleashed on a quest of absolute terror, storming through the halls of SmackDown to find The Deadman’s unknown assailant.

Chavo Guerrero & Dolph Ziggler def. Christian (PHOTOS | WATCH)
It should have been an easy Thursday night for Christian. Originally set to face Chavo Guerrero in a singles match, Captain Charisma entered “WWE Superstars” as the odds-on favorite. And then Vickie Guerrero showed up and announced that the bout would now be a 2-on-1 Handicap Match with Dolph Ziggler teaming up with Chavo. Clearly at a disadvantage, Christian amped up his offense, hitting his two opponents with every maneuver in his arsenal. Still, the talented Superstar couldn’t stop the underhanded tactics of Ziggler & Guerrero and ended up suffering a loss after a noble performance.

Michelle McCool def. Tiffany (PHOTOS | WATCH)
The WWE Universe may not love the arrogant personalities of Michelle McCool & Women’s Champion Layla, but it’s hard to deny their success. The duo’s winning ways continued tonight as Michelle clashed with the gorgeous Tiffany while Layla kept a close eye on the action from ringside. Although the perky Tiffany brought her exciting maneuvers to the bout, her sinister opponent’s vicious offense was simply too much for her to overcome. In the end, Michelle nailed a devastating Faith Breaker to pick up the win.

Gail Kim def. Jillian (PHOTOS | WATCH)
It was a good night for the WWE Universe as not only did Jillian not get a chance to sing, but she suffered a big loss at the hands of the sexy, smart and powerful Gail Kim. Still, while Jillian may be the most annoying woman on the planet, her talent in the ring can’t be denied. Throughout the match, she continually dominated Gail, especially when she nailed a huge superplex that stunned both Divas. Despite this offensive onslaught, the former Women’s Champion managed to connect with Eat Defeat and put Jillian out for the 1-2-3.

Mark Henry def. Primo (PHOTOS | WATCH)
After suffering a loss to Yoshi Tatsu on last Thursday’s “WWE Superstars,” Primo was hoping to bounce back with a big win this week. Unfortunately, The World’s Strongest Man was standing in his way. Taking advantage of a near 200 pound weight difference, Henry used his unmatched strength to fling the Puerto Rican Superstar around the ring before finally putting him away with the World’s Strongest Slam.
