- The decision to put Vickie Guerrero on RAW last night was made this past Thursday. It was supposed to be a one-week deal but WWE were pleased with the heat she received and the talk now is that she may be brought back full-time for the role.
- Melina noted on Twitter that her physical therapy is going well but she doesn't know how much longer she will be out of the ring. Her trainers feel it should take 3-4 more months to fully heal but her doctor has said she could return in late June or July.

PITTSBURGH The sole advantage of power is that you can do more good. Baltasar Gracian
Its a pretty solid bet that Vickie Guerrero has never heard that quote. And while her reign as Raws General Manager proved mercifully brief, the ripples she caused are certain to reverberate for weeks to come.
Randy Orton def. Edge & Ted DiBiase in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match (PHOTOS | WATCH) While the odds were against him, Randy Orton somehow managed to slither out of Pittsburghs Mellon Arena with a huge win. After orders from Raws new General Manager, Vickie Guerrero, The Viper was forced to compete in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match against Edge and The Rated-R Superstars hand-picked partner, Ted DiBiase. During the bout, Orton capitalized on a distraction from R-Truth, who gleefully watched as his tormentor DiBiase suffered the pin.
The drama continued to unfold as Orton trained his fury on Guerrero. Before he could sink his fangs into her, however, she frantically resigned her post as Raw GM. While Vickie scampered away, Edge tried to sneak up on his former Rated-RKO partner, but WWEs Apex Predator turned the tables and leveled The Ultimate Opportunist with a ruinous RKO the second in two weeks outside of the ring.
Buzz Aldrin to act as special guest host in a two-hour, commercial-free Raw next week Itll be one small step for man, one giant leap for the WWE Universe when famed U.S. astronaut Buzz Aldrin drops by to host a two-hour, commercial-free edition of Monday Night Raw in Toronto. Also next week, in addition to the United States Title Match, WWE Champion John Cena will face off against Sheamus.
Mark Henry vs. Batista ended in a No Contest (PHOTOS | WATCH) Batistas rage wouldnt allow him to wait. Before his opponent, Mark Henry, even entered the ring, The Animal attacked. Undoubtedly feeding off of Henrys earlier assistance in helping WWE Champion John Cena, Batista punished The Worlds Strongest Man, making him tap out in pain. The sadistic showcase proved a clear message to The Champ: If I can make The Worlds Strongest Man tap out, I can make you say, I quit.
NXT Rookies def. Raw Superstars in a 4-on-8 Tag Team Match (PHOTOS | WATCH) With just 24 hours remaining until one of them is eliminated from the competition, you can be sure that all eight NXT Rookies were out to impress as they battled four Raw Superstars. In the end, Daniel Bryan, Justin Gabriel, Heath Slater, Skip Sheffield, Wade Barrett, David A-List Otunga, Michael Tarver & Darren Young defeated Santino Marella, John Morrison, Yoshi Tatsu & Goldust when Bryan managed a pin on Marella - his first win in WWE - and gained precious momentum going into Tuesdays elimination ceremony.
Unified Tag Team Champion Tyson Kidd def. United States Champion The Miz in a Non-Title Match (PHOTOS | WATCH) Unlike his opponent, Tyson Kidd let his actions do the talking. Kidd avenged his partners earlier loss to Chris Jericho by defeating Jerichos partner, United States Champion The Miz. Kidds win earned a title match for one member of The Hart Dynasty next Monday night.
As The Hart Dynasty including Kidd, David Hart Smith and Natalya celebrated, Miz smugly informed them that the contract stipulates that were he to lose, he would get to choose which member of the Hart family he will compete against. His decision? Next Monday night in Toronto, the United States Champion will defend his title against WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hit Man Hart!
WWE Champion John Cena announced I Quit Title Match at Over the Limit (PHOTOS | WATCH) After being attacked last week by Sheamus before he could announce the stipulations for his WWE Title Match against Batista at Over the Limit, John Cena was determined to cut to the chase. The championship bout will be an I Quit Match, meaning, to win, a Superstar must punish his opponent enough to make them say, I quit.
After the announcement, The Champ called out The Celtic Warrior to avenge his ambush from a week earlier. As Sheamus approached the ring, The Animal slipped in as well, and the two powerhouses double-teamed their rival. Before medical personnel were needed, Mark Henry raced to Cenas rescue and chased off his attackers.
Evan Bourne def. Zack Ryder (PHOTOS | WATCH) Zack Ryders boasts continue to hold about as much water as a drained hot tub. Once again, The Long Island Lothario brought out Alicia Fox and Gail Kim to watch him compete. And once again, Ryder came up empty. This time, Ryder lost to Evan Bourne after Alicia tried to help him only to be stopped by Gail. After the match, a disgusted Gail left her fellow Diva to tend to Ryder and ended up leaving with Air Bourne.
R-Truth def. William Regal by Disqualification (PHOTOS | WATCH) Money cant buy everything but it certainly helps. Unfortunately for R-Truth, that axiom became evident during his bout against William Regal. With special guest host Flavor Flav cheering him on at ringside, Truth had Regal on the ropes when Carlito & Primo Colon charged the ring and threw Truth a devious beat-down.
As the Boriqua brothers scurried up the entrance ramp, they were greeted by Ted DiBiase, who had offended Truth weeks earlier by proposing that he become DiBiases Virgil, a reference to the man-servant of his father. The younger DiBiase shook hands with the Colons and indicated to a dazed Truth that, like so many before them, they too had a price and were willing to do his bidding.
Chris Jericho def. Unified Tag Team Champion David Hart Smith (PHOTOS | WATCH) When Chris Jericho was drafted to Monday nights, the self-important Superstar quickly gravitated toward the one man whose sense of self rivals his own: United States Champion The Miz. Once aligned, the Screaming Egos immediately formulated a plan to capture the Unified Tag Team Titles from The Hart Dynasty.
Consider them one step closer after Jericho faced off against David Hart Smith in singles competition. Thanks to a Jericho victory, he and Miz will now receive a Unified Tag Team Title Match at Over the Limit.
Randy Orton attacked singer Meat Loaf; Edge announced Vickie Guerrero as Raw GM (PHOTOS | WATCH) Randy Orton was trying to make a point. As he discussed his distrust of Edge inside of Pittsburghs Mellon Arena, however, singer Meat Loaf barged in like a bat out of well, you know. The Grammy Award-winning artist explained that he was in town promoting his latest album Hang Cool Teddy Bear and is a huge fan of The Viper. Just when Mr. Loaf prepared to belt out one of his new tunes, though, Orton leveled him with an RKO.
In the commotion that followed, Edge emerged to inform his former tag team partner that a new permanent General Manager of Raw was being installed at his behest: Vickie Guerrero. Guerrero, who had previously been married to The Rated-R Superstar, also appeared to insist that her relationship with The Ultimate Opportunist would not affect her decision-making. Unfortunately, her argument rang hollow when, moments later, she announced a 2-on-1 Handicap Match pitting Orton against Edge and a partner of his choosing for later in the evening as a means to reprimand The Viper.

On another note, there is talk of starting a faction with Hardy, Helms, Shannon Moore and Jesse Neal.
Jeff Hardy was interviewed on the TNA website by teen actor Booboo Stewart. To read the full interview, visit TNA's official website (LINK). Here are some highlights of what Hardy said about:
Favorite Career Match: "Overall, it would have to be at WrestleMania X-Seven in Houston," Hardy said. "It was the second TLC Match and its the one where Edge speared me when I was hanging from the belt hook above the ring.
Favorite TNA Match: "In TNA, it was definitely Monsters Ball from the first ever Bound for Glory in 2005. It was me, Abyss, Rhino, and Sabu. Both of those matches were matches with stipulations. If you want to know about my favorite regular match of all time, it was at Great American Bash 2008 against Umaga."
His Dream MAtch: "It would be 'The Charismatic Enigma' Jeff Hardy against 'The Icon' Sting in a paint vs. paint match. Im talking about the crow version (current) Sting. It has never happened before, but never say never."

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. Bedlam rocked SmackDown as Big Show chokeslammed World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger after his battle with Kane, and Drew McIntyres sudden firing left the Intercontinental Championship vacant.
Kane def. World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger by Disqualification (PHOTOS | WATCH) After escaping Kanes chokeslam, Jack Swagger thrusted The Big Red Monsters ribs repeatedly into an exposed turnbuckle a dangerous hazard that he himself had dislodged earlier in the match. This led the official to disqualify The All-American American.
But after the match was over, the action continued outside the ring, where No. 1 contender Big Show sitting in with Matt Striker and Todd Grisham opted to join the fray. The Worlds Largest Athlete delivered a massive chokeslam to the World Heavyweight Champion, sending him crashing through the announce table.
Will Big Show walk away with the World Title when he challenges Swagger at Over the Limit? (Match preview)
Intercontinental Champion Drew McIntyre was stripped of his title and fired (PHOTOS | WATCH) Without being cleared for action following two brutal assaults from Intercontinental Champion Drew McIntyre in recent weeks Matt Hardy came to the ring to address the volatile situation. After McIntyre got the upper hand by nailing Hardy from behind, things quickly spiraled out of control.
In spite of frantic attempts by WWE officials and personnel to restrain the Chosen One, and numerous warnings from SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long, McIntyre continued his treacherous assault. Long then sent shockwaves throughout the WWE Universe, first by suspending the untouchable Superstar, then by stripping him of his title and firing him on the spot. When McIntyre put his hands on the head of SmackDown, he was unceremoniously kicked out of the building. Teddy Long wished McIntyre the best in his future endeavors.
Later, the SmackDown GM ruled that, since the Intercontinental Championship was now vacant, four deserving Superstars would compete in a championship tournament to decide the successor. Christian would face Cody Rhodes and Kofi Kingston would take on Dolph Ziggler. The winners would battle next week for the illustrious title.
Kofi Kingston def. Dolph Ziggler in an Intercontinental Championship Tournament Semi-Finals Match(PHOTOS | WATCH) Kofi Kingston triumphed in the first Tournament Semi-Finals Match, breaking Dolph Zigglers infamous sleeper hold to hit Trouble in Paradise.
Christian def. Cody Rhodes in an Intercontinental Championship Tournament Semi-Finals Match(PHOTOS | WATCH) In the second Tournament Semi-Finals Match, Christian reigned supreme in a hard-fought contest, slamming Rhodes into the unforgiving ring post before finishing him with the Killswitch.
Next week on SmackDown, Christian and Kofi Kingston go head-to-head for the Intercontinental Championship!
Michelle McCool & Layla def. Kelly Kelly &Tiffany(PHOTOS | WATCH) Just 24 hours after Michelle, Layla and SmackDowns Official Consultant Vickie Guerrero put Kelly Kelly through a humiliating initiation on "WWE Superstars" (watch), Tiffany joined forces with SmackDowns newest Diva against Team Lay-Cool. But retribution was not in the cards. As the official was getting Kelly Kelly back to her corner, Michelle delivered a hard kick to Tiffany from behind, setting up Layla for the victorious neckbreaker.
MVP def. Luke Gallows (PHOTOS | WATCH) When The Anti-Diva Serena leaped up on the ring apron, she distracted MVP from executing the climatic Playmaker on Luke Gallows. Seconds later, Rey Mysterio jumped out of the crowd and attacked CM Punk, mimicking the attacks he has suffered from a mysterious hooded stranger in recent matches with The Second City Saint. This commotion allowed MVP to finish off Gallows with The Play of the Day.
After the match, an irate Punk called Mysterio out as a coward. The masked Superstar emerged to challenge him to a rematch at Over the Limit and the savior readily accepted. If Rey loses the showdown, he must take the Straight Edge pledge. If Punk loses, Rey Mysterio will personally shave his head. (Match preview)
Mysterio then offered to forgo the match and take the pledge immediately if Punk would shave his head right then and there. When Punk refused, a slight glimpse of doubt seemed apparent on the faces of Punks normally loyal disciples. (PHOTOS | WATCH)
- Finlay is reportedly done working as an active wrestler for WWE, but he remains on board as a producer. The call was at least partially attributed to Vince McMahon, who apparently feels Finlay is "too old."
WWE's Intercontinental Title was declared vacant on last night's SmackDown after Teddy Long "fired" the former Champion Drew McIntyre. Kofi Kingston vs. Dolph Ziggler and Cody Rhodes vs. Christian took place last night in a one-night tournament with Kofi and Christian advancing. The two will face on next week's SmackDown to crown a new Intercontinental Champion

Primo vs. Carlito ended in a No Contest (PHOTOS | WATCH) It was nearly a year ago that The Colons had a falling out live on Monday Night Raw when Carlito delivered a devastating Back Stabber to his brother, Primo. But tonight the WWE Universe learned that time does heal all wounds as Carlito unexpectedly halted the match and asked his brother to team with him again. Primo agreed and the former Unified Tag Team Champions embraced, signaling a bright future for the Puerto Rican Superstars.
Chris Masters def. Chavo Guerrero (PHOTOS | WATCH) Just when you thought Chavo Guerreros move to SmackDown would do his career some good, the self-proclaimed Mexican Warrior chalked up another one in the loss column. Going up against the physically awesome Chris Masters, Guerrero attempted to ground the big man, but could not handle Masters strength. In the end, The Masterpiece locked in his devastating Master Lock and wrenched Chavo into submission.
Kelly Kelly was confronted in the Divas locker room by Lay-Cool (WATCH) SmackDowns resident mean girls, Michelle McCool & Layla, decided they couldnt wait until Friday night to stir up some trouble and set their sights on the gorgeous Kelly Kelly. After claiming Kelly reeked of garbage and rotten eggs, Team Lay-Cool christened her Smelly Kelly. To make matters worse, Vickie Guerrero showed up and brutally attacked Kelly with beauty products while Michelle and Layla held her. Luckily, Beth Phoenix & Tiffany swooped in to make the save.
Womens Champion Beth Phoenix def. Rosa Mendes (PHOTOS | WATCH) After spending months in the corner of cocky Raw Superstar Zack Ryder, the fiery Rosa Mendes returned to the ring against an intimidating opponent Womens Champion Beth Phoenix. Surprisingly, Mendes showed no fear, chewing out Phoenix on the microphone before slapping her across the face. This may have been a mistake, however, as The Glamazon attacked her with pure power before putting her away with a roll-up. Still, The Fabulous Firebird suffered a minor ankle injury during the action and had to be assisted from the ring.
Shad Gaspard def. JTG (PHOTOS | WATCH) After battling in a brutal Strap Match at Extreme Rules, former partners JTG and Shad met again on WWE Superstars. This time, however, the results were much different. While JTG managed to use his street smarts to pull off the victory in their first contest, Gaspard used his pure power and rage to beat down his former friend and pick up the win tonight. Maybe it really is Shads time after all.
The very latest on Batista's future with WWE Posted by Chris Kaufman on 05/05/2010 at 08:13 PM
Credit: F4WOnline.com
People close to Batista are now saying that its not 100% hes leaving WWE soon but its still believed by some that the Over the Limit PPB will be his final show for the time being. While theres obvious interest in Batista from TNA, he has been listening to outside offers. Batista is said to be purely business, unlike Jeff Hardy who went to TNA for other reasons, and TNA may be a long shot for him since they couldnt even come close to paying him what WWE has, which is several million dollars per year.
Man arrested for making threats to WWE Posted by Chris Kaufman on 05/04/2010 at 09:24 AM
Credit: PWInsider.com
A 22-year-old man has been banned from going to WWE events after threatening to kill WWE employees and blow up WWE Headquarters over the release of Mickie James... really.
CTPost.com is reporting that Zavr Peygumbari of Brooklyn, New York, described as an "emotionally disturbed" man was ordered by Judge William Wenzel was not to contact WWE employees, go near the Stamford offices or attend WWE events following his arrest this past Friday following after making a series of threats against WWE employees.
He called the offices more than 20 times, "making threats to blow up the company's offices and saying he would visit the building with a machete and a machine gun." This resulted in him being charged with four counts of fourth-degree threatening, one count of second-degree harassment and two counts of second-degree threatening. Currently out on bond, he is due in court to face the charges on May 25th.
His attorney, in responding to the charges, stated "It's a testament to the WWE that they get people so psyched up in the story lines." Of course, the Mickie James situation isn't a storyline.
WWE's reaction to recent Mark Henry incident Posted by Chris Kaufman on 05/03/2010 at 08:52 PM
Credit: PWTorch.com
As reported earlier, Mark Henry was arrested late one night at a bar in Belfast, Ireland while the Raw crew was stranded during their recent trip overseas. His arrest garnered attention as a local newspaper quoted a fan who claimed that the WWE Superstar threw a beverage at him and his fiancee, and challenged him to a fight. Reaction to Henry's arrest within the company is said to be minimal as he is considered a mild-mannered individual and it is believed that the fan did something to provoke him.
Hello, my name is Jeremy Westwood. And I was at the Smackdown House Show on 5-2-10 in Johnson City,TN.
And I just wanted to correct your "eye witness". Your eye witness didn't witness anything if they saw the fan being ejected from the building, because that is false. CM Punk made his way to the ring, and got tons of heat, he spent about 5 minutes walking around ringside getting heat from certain people. The last one he approached, was an older lady who was going back & forth with him, and Punk finally said something that struck a nerve with her, because the lady struck Punk with a slap. But the slap was a very weak slap. The WWE Security, & Arena Security went directly towards the fan, and was escorting her out of the arena. But Rey Mysetrio was in the ring, and stopped the Security from taking the fan out of the arena. Security escorted her back to her seat, and Rey exited the ring, and went down and hugged the fan, then got on the mic, & said "Punk this Lady isn't going anywhere, she is gonna seat right there, and watch me kick your butt". Crowd popped, and also popped for the fan. Punk went back over to the fan, and was running his mouth again, but Security was around the woman, and refrained her from doing anything else again.
I just wanted to correct your story, so the fan was not ejected, and there will be no legal actions.
