HBK out to the ring in street clothes, jeans and an HBK t-shirt, no cowboy hat. Video of Taker winning last week on SD! HBK tried to attack Taker, Taker caught him, but HBK nailed a super kick to drop Taker on the stage. He looks sad, but sounded happy. He said hes got a feeling, the same feeling he had in January of 1992, right before he threw Marty Jannetty through the Barber shop window. The same feeling as back in March in 1996 when he beat Bret Hart for the championship. And the exact same feeling he had last week right before he kicked Takers teeth down his throat. It is the felling that he can do absolutely anything! By anything he means beating Taker at WM. Mixed reviews to that. It could be coincidence, but theres a new HBK DVD out called My Journey, right when hes putting his career on the line, like his careers coming to the end. Clear off some space on that DVD shelf for volume 2, this is only the beginning. After WM he wont only be known as the Headliner, the Showstopper, the Mainevent (not the Maineventer) the Heart Ache Kid (yes, he screwed up on his own name). Not only as a co-founder of DX, he might even cease being known as Shawn Michaels, but he will forever be known as the one and only man who ended Takers Streak. In six days the lights went out, but then an HBK video started. Very young HBK with Marty, when he first started, then following his career to winning the RR and then the title. Into DX and HBK winning the title again. To HBK ending Flairs career. Then HBK facing Taker last night, but losing. The ending shot was HBK 1985-2010 - this was a Taker video. HBK chants from the fans, but only a small group. HBK says he appreciates his little attempt to intimidate him, but he should come out and do it to his face. Its Pete Rose who comes out looking really old. He wishes HBK luck at WM and says HBKs the right man to end that streak. As guest host, hed like HBK to compete tonight against Takers brother Kane. Same stipulations as WM. He needs someone to get revenge for all Kanes done over the years. Hell get revenge for Rose and for HBK. Rose wishes him luck.
King and Cole talk about HBK and Taker, then move onto Batista and Cena. The first time they met was at SummerSlam 2008. Video of that face-off.

Video from a WM Rewind Match from last week where Cena faced off with Big Show. Cena was in control until Batista came out and distracted Cena. Big Show knocked out Cena with one punch and it was over. Batista slid in and said a few words to Cena before sliding out again.
Backstage Batista heads for the ring with a slew of security in tow.

Promo for next weeks Special Guest Hosts, the cast of Hot Tub Time Machine. (Yay, Im so thrilled!)
Justin announces Batista. Batista comes out in a white wife beater, distressed light blue jeans, boots, sunglasses and his strap over his left shoulder. All of his security still following behind him. Huge heat when his music goes off. He tells them to boo hi, say hello to the bad guy. Boo him all they want. Theres something you people will have to get used to, hes the WWE Champion and Cena will lose at WM. Because Cena cant beat him. Cenas never beaten him and cant beat him, get used to it. Hes said it before and will say it again and again and again until we get it through our skulls. When hes in the ring with Cena bad things happen to Cena, over and over again, end of story. Cena chants. He gets it, everyone loves Cena. They love him because he runs his mouth and gives them lip service. You cant see me Want some, come gets some. And the fans hate him because he speaks the truth. They all mean nothing to him. Hes there to win titles, make money. When he looks at them he doesnt see fans, or even people, he sees money, dollar signs, dollar signs. And some people he see big dollar signs as theyre really fat and had to buy two seats. He gets it, they hate him for his honesty. But they all pay to see him. More huge heat! He appreciates all the money. They pay to see him because hes special. They pay to see greatness that they will never be. So thank you very much. Cena chants grow louder and louder. He says Cena will disappoint us at WM, again. Thats all he has to say. He knows they want Cena to come out and run his mouth, give them false home. He calls out Cena. Cenas music hits and the fans go wild. Cena comes out looking rather pissed off. Cena climbs the steps and goes into the ring with Batista and all his security. Security fans out in front of Batista. Cena looks like a beaten little boy, just stares. He says hes already disappointed these people, let them down. That was the second Batista became WWE Champion. You cant wrestle chants from quite a lot of (not just male) fans and Cenas head hangs even lower. Cena says hes lost confidence in himself and the fans have lost confidence in him. He let Batista win the title and every week he comes out and tells everybody how bad Cena is and how great Batista is. Every week he tries to stop Batista and failed. Cena looks about to cry. He didnt see it coming or expect it from Batista. Now that its happened, he doesnt know if he can stop it. Hes been in a lot of bad spots in his career, but always given people a chance to believe. I guess because no matter how bad, he always believed in himself in the fight. After all thats happened he doesnt know if all the fighting in the world will even give him a chance. Batista laughs and says Cenas admits it, hes already beaten. Hes just like all the fans, hes a common loser! Cena smirks, but keeps his head down. Cena says that of all the crap thats come out of his mouth in the past weeks, thats the first thing that makes sense. Batista asks if its that Cenas a loser? Cena shakes his head and says no, that hes just like everyone of these people and were all sick and tired of Batistas garbage. They all realize how foolish he looks and sounds putting himself above everyone else. Who the hell does he think he is? Cena knows who he thinks he is. He actually thinks hes the Animal. Paid a whole lot of money to take people out. Cenas proof positive that Batistas not good at his job, he should be fired. Batista says hes not good at his job? Really? Cenas been on his back, obviously hes really good at his job. Cena says if he was good at his job he wouldnt be surrounded by security. Cheers from the fans. Batistas pissed. Cena says if he was good at his job Cena wouldnt be standing there at all. Cena says he must admit he had Cena shook up, but he took the glasses off. Looking in his eyes now he doesnt see an Animal, he see Dave Batista and Dave Batista can be beaten. Cena takes off his hat and throws it off as Batista seethes. More cheers. Dave Batista needs to know at WM, Cenas taking back the WWE Championship. If Batistas not going to make a move, hes done talking. Cena throws the mic down. Batista starts screaming at Cena to not turn his back on Batista, that Cena cant beat him and Cena knows it. Off comes Cenas shirt and into the crowd it goes. Cena nothing, a paper Champion, hes nothing. Cena attacks Batista. Security grabs Cena, but he breaks away and goes after Batista again. They hold Cena as Batista attacks. Cena gets free and tackles Batista. Batista held outside and Cena clears the ring of security. Batista stomps up the ramp and leaves. Cena is left in the ring with a couple of zebras and a suit.
Matt Hardy gets snubbed by WWE Magazine Posted by Chris Kaufman on 03/21/2010 at 08:10 PM
As noted before, the April issue of WWE Magazine features 26 collector covers with various WWE Superstars.
Jeff Hardy isnt happy that his brother Matt was not chosen for one of the covers. Jeff wrote on Twitter: Matt Hardy not on one of the WWE Wrestlemania magazine covers. That is some bullshit to me. Think about it WWE fans, is that right or wrong?
Matt later wrote this on Twitter: I wanna thank everybody for fightin 4 me, means the world to me guys. Make your voices be heard to the Powers that be. Thx 4 everything.
Vince didn't know Austin would drink beer on RAW? Posted by Chris Kaufman on 03/18/2010 at 01:29 PM
Thanks to Tim Johnson for the following recap:
Stone Cold Steve Austin was on Loveline (Dr. Drew Pinsky's nationally syndicated radio program) last night, promoting the release of Damage. He was on for the full 2 hours but he only discussed wrestling briefly.
When a caller asked him about his experience hosting RAW this week he said that it was a little weird trying to do his character in a PG world and that Vince was unaware that Austin would be drinking beer in the ring (though Stone Cold didn't know that until after he did it).
Stone Cold participated in answering a number of odd "love" related questions but he did not discuss his personal life in any detail. I'm fairly certain that the show was broadcast live last night west of Colorado, but radio stations east of Colorado that air Loveline will broadcast Stone Cold's appearance tonight (generally that is how Loveline works).
All in all, Stone Cold was pretty entertaining, but it was quite obvious during the discussion that his wrestling days are over and he is focused now on acting (not that anyone reading the site should be surprised by that). When asked if he will be ever returning to the ring, he basically said never say never, but he feel that it is extremely unlikely.

This allowed Abyss to regain the upper hand and hit the chokeslam, which broke the ring due to the amount of force. Interview highlights courtesy of The Mayhem's official correspondent, Paterson From New Jersey:
How he was approached to join Dragon Gate USA: "I've known Gabe (Sapolsky) for several years from Ring Of Honor, and he contacted me and said whenever I'm ready to wrestle for us & if you're interested, let me know. I was definitely interested, and Dragon Gate is pretty high caliber, one of the higher calibers in my opinion. I'm excited for it and just tyring to add what I can."
What his morale is like now being part of DGUSA after his time in the WWE & what the fans can expect from him now: "Say you create something, and imagine knowing that you can definitely offer way more than you are, and you're willing to do that night in & night out yet, that's not the confines of working. You're working with something much smaller, much more censored, and I think as a result, much more exaggerated for the negative. That's the environment you're working in when you're working with the entertainment industry & the WWE. You're going to work and walking into an editing room. On one hand, it makes your work more creative, but it's almost like having a studio chop up everything you do. That's where a lot of the frustration comes in. I'm just a...I don't even know if calling myself a prop would be very fair even. They either care about your ideas or they couldn't care less. That's what I dealt with."
If he was approached to return to TNA upon leaving World Wrestling Entertainment & how appealing is TNA/the X-Division to him currently (and if a return to TNA could be down the pipeline this year): I do keep up with the product some, because I have some friends there; obviously Brian (Kendrick) is working there now. It's a interesting show. A lot of it is very similar, but with of it, it has digressed in some parts. It takes two to tango, and I don't really feel that TNA has any interest in having me there or they would have made a stronger effort than they did. Instead, they made a pretty lousy & insulting effort almost a year ago to be honest with you. I don't have much interest at this point, so I could go to another place & be unappreciated...No thanks."
Paul's thoughts on some WWE Superstars who may bad-mouthed him on his way out of the company, including a message to Matt Hardy: "He doesn't count. I'm talking about people that matters like friends of mine. That doesn't matter to me. I meant real comments from real people."
More is contained in this exclusive interview with Paul London, including his candid & uncensored thoughts on whether or not he watches the current WWE product, along with the prospects of meeting (and potentially collaborating with) Bob Saget, who is rumored to be filming selected scenes of his A&E reality show using Dragon Gate USA as the backdrop. Jack Swagger & Dolph Ziggler def. Matt Hardy & MVP Beth Phoenix & Tiffany def. Womens Champion Michelle McCool & Layla John Morrison & R-Truth def. The Hart Dynasty Luke Gallows def. Rey Mysterio Undertaker def. Intercontinental Champion Drew McIntyre (Non-Title)
LOS ANGELES With The Grandest Stage of Them All just nine days away, Shawn Michaels ambushed an unsuspecting Undertaker, CM Punk accepted Rey Mysterios WrestleMania challenge, and World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho got the better of Edge.
WrestleMania coverage
Undertaker def. Intercontinental Champion Drew McIntyre (PHOTOS | WATCH) While Undertaker will soon defend his 17-0 streak at WrestleMania, Drew McIntyre was looking to keep his own undefeated streak alive in a non-title match. Despite his best efforts, the champion was no match for The Phenoms vicious leg drop, chokeslam and Tombstone.
After the match, as The Deadman made his way to the top of the exit ramp, he was greeted by Shawn Michaels who after scuffling with his WrestleMania opponent downed him with some hard-hitting Sweet Chin Music!
Rey Mysterio accepted CM Punks WrestleMania challenge (PHOTOS | WATCH) After being tormented in front of his family last week, Rey Mysterio eagerly accepted CM Punks challenge for a WrestleMania match. However, The Master of the 619 wanted their differences to be settled in a Street Fight! Not willing to give in to Mysterios request so easily, Punk demanded that he beat Luke Gallows in a match on SmackDown or their WrestleMania encounter would be a straight up match. Piling on the stipulations, CM Punk declared that if Rey touches him before WrestleMania, their match is off. And if The Ultimate Underdog loses at WrestleMania, he must take the Straight Edge pledge!
Luke Gallows def. Rey Mysterio (PHOTOS | WATCH) After stinging Luke Gallows with the 619, Rey Mysterio appeared to be on his way to victory and a Street Fight with CM Punk. However, as Mysterio set up on the top ropes, Serena grabbed his feet, causing him to fall to the canvas. Gallows capitalized, covering Mysterio for the win. Frustrated with the outcome, Mysterio launched into an uncharacteristic vicious attack on Gallows outside of the ring. The loss means Mysterio will now face CM Punk in straight up match at WrestleMania. (Match preview)
World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho attacked Edge (PHOTOS | WATCH) Last week, Chris Jericho got the better of Edge on the Highlight Reel by smashing him in the head with his title. On this night on The Cutting Edge, it looked like it was Edges turn when he tossed Jericho from the ring and Speared his WWE NXT Rookie, Wade Barrett. But, the champion got back in the ring and dropped Edge with the Codebreaker. Who will prevail in just nine days? (Match preview)
Jack Swagger & Dolph Ziggler def. Matt Hardy & MVP (PHOTOS | WATCH) In a little more than a week, all four Superstars in this tag team match will square off in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match at WrestleMania. The shining star on this night was Dolph Ziggler, who downed MVP with the Zig Zag. Afterward, Ziggler set up a ladder in the middle of the ring and climbed to the top to grab hold of the coveted Money in the Bank briefcase. Who will capture the briefcase when it really counts? (MITB preview)
Beth Phoenix & Tiffany def. Womens Champion Michelle McCool & Layla (PHOTOS | WATCH) With a Glam Slam, Beth Phoenix dropped the Womens Champion for the win for her team. After the match, Official SmackDown Consultant Vickie Guerrero demanded an apology from The Glamazon for hitting her with a clothesline last week. Beth obliged with an apology, but that still wasnt good enough for Guerrero. Next week it will be Vickie vs. Beth in a match on SmackDown!
John Morrison & R-Truth def. The Hart Dynasty (PHOTOS | WATCH) With a fast-striking Lie Detector, R-Truth downed Tyson Kidd for the victory for his team. Although the win was a nice momentum boost, is it enough for Morrison & Truth to topple Unified Tag Team Champions Big Show & The Miz at WrestleMania? (Match preview)
Dwayne The Rock Johnson will in fact be returning to WWE this summer and his return will be more than just a one-night gig hosting RAW.
In a radio interview with Bostons Mix 104 last month, Johnson shed some new light on his return, which is expected to take place this summer.
When asked if he plans on wrestling a match in WWE this summer, The Rock said:
How I would come back is a different capacity than what Hulk Hogan did or I believe Ric Flair is doing. Those guys are coming back to actually wrestle. I dont want to wrestle; I have no intention of wrestling a match.
.. at least thats what hes saying. So if hes not wrestling, whats the plan?
The Rock plans on having a major impact on WWE programming and could serve as a semi-permanent RAW Guest host for the entire summer:
I do have intention of going back and hosting the show. Hosting a show like that would give me the opportunity to get on the microphone, rip open the writing, and invite guests on to come host with me. We wanted to create something cool and big and fun for the audience.
The Rocks WWE return appears to be this summers big angle. Two years ago, WWE went with Million Dollar Mania to spice things up. Last year, Donald Trump bought Raw and kicked off the weekly Guest Host storyline. While The Rock claims that he currently has no plan to get back in the ring when he returns to WWE in a few months, his presence alone on WWE television should be enough to heat things up this summer headed into SummerSlam.
On Twitter, when asked whether he watches TNA Wrestling, Steve Austin replied: "yes i do watch TNA. lots of friends there. they have some good talent."
He also said last week that "they will never catch WWE" and felt they needed to be different than them. However, he also wished them luck and said competition is good.
Reid Flair, son of The Nature Boy, is expected to be at some of the upcoming TNA iMPACT shows and tapings. It's unknown if he will be brought in as a wrestler or if he's just coming in for training.
Kane def. Shelton Benjamin The Bella Twins def. Jillian & Katie Lea Christian, Mark Henry & Yoshi Tatsu def. Jack Swagger, William Regal & Zack Ryder
On WWE Superstars nearly half of this years Money in the Bank Ladder Match participants collided in a pair of heated contests. The matches saw both Kane and Christian build momentum heading into WrestleMania XXVI, as The Bella Twins picked up a win in a palette-cleansing Divas tag team match.

Christian, Mark Henry & Yoshi Tatsu def. Jack Swagger, William Regal & Zack Ryder (PHOTOS | WATCH) The main event of WWE Superstars saw six Raw ring warriors collide in a massive three-on-three tag team battle. While Christian and Jack Swagger both sought to send a clear message about their chances in the upcoming Money in the Bank Ladder Match, their partners were no less determined to make an impact. Ultimately, however, it was Captain Charisma who chalked up a win after hitting Zack Ryder with the Killswitch.
The Bella Twins def. Jillian & Katie Lea (PHOTOS | WATCH) The team of Jillian & Katie Lea was seeing double on WWE Superstars as they took on The Bella Twins in a tag team match. Despite their opponents aggressive in-ring tactics, Brie & Nikki Bella persevered, winning the match and in the process proving that they are more than just a couple of pretty faces.
Kane def. Shelton Benjamin (PHOTOS | WATCH) WWE Superstars opened with a colorful clash, pitting The Big Red Monster against The Gold Standard. With the Money in the Bank Ladder Match (and the possibility of a guaranteed World Title Match) little more than a week away, both SmackDown Superstars fought ferociously, but in the end it was Kane who defeated Shelton Benjamin with a thunderous chokeslam.
According to Dave Meltzer, the WWE talents have been told to keep busy with WWE affairs during Wrestlemania weekend and not to attend any Ring of Honor or Dragon Gate shows. They have also been told to expect TMZ cameras and not to do anything that would get them in trouble or on TMZ.
WWE stars enjoy Impact being on Mondays? Posted by Chris Kaufman on 03/17/2010 at 12:21 PM
Credit: F4WOnline.com
Believe it or not, several WWE wrestlers privately said they liked Impact last week because of the sense of competition and that they are bored of WWE's product as of late.
- Hulk Hogan was in tremendous pain after last week's TNA Impact tapings. He was icing his back for a long time. Hogan has been protecting his back in the ring and only did a few bumps but still is hurting. Right now Hogan's not expected to wrestle anytime soon but that could always change.
