hallo iedereen ik heb een mededeling ik vertrek tot volgende zaterdag op vakantie en heb daar geen internet dus deze week zal er niks nieuws op de blog verschijnen ik hoop dat jullie er daarna terug zijn Kenneth
Results:Hell's spawn By Lennie DiFino August 24, 2007 COLUMBIA, S.C. Just 48 hours before he challenges The Great Khali for the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam, Batista stepped into the ring to face Finlay on SmackDown Friday night. The Animal and the fighting Irishman who will also be at SummerSlam, as Kane demanded of Mr. McMahon a one-on-one encounter with Finlay at the Biggest Party of the Summer physically decimated each other throughout the match until the World Heavyweight Champion made his way to ringside. When Batista seemingly had the match in his favor, Khali interfered and the two behemoths collided. As Khali attempted to apply his vicious Khali Vise Grip, Batista blocked the clutches and then unleashed an assault on the champion, sending a strong message before SummerSlam. Read the full story
The United States Champion, Montel Vontavious Porter, had hoped the fists of Evander Holyfield would send a clear message to Matt Hardy at Saturday Nights Main Event. Instead, it was MVP who was left in a heap after he got in The Real Deals face. Dissatisfied with that outcome, Porter issued a new challenge to back up his claims that he is better than Hardy a One-on-One Basketball Challenge. The contest, however, came on the heels of General Manager Theodore Longs announcement that next week on SmackDown, MVP must team with Matt and compete against Deuce & Domino for the WWE Tag Team Titles. As a result, the champions took full advantage of the basketball challenge, and left both Hardy and the Ballin Superstar laid out. Read the full story
While the investigation into his paternity suit continues, Mr. McMahon was on SmackDown Friday night with the hopes of finding any clues to the identity of his illegitimate son. Instead, the Chairman encountered a slew of Superstars claiming to be his offspring, including Kane. At first, he insisted that there was no way this monster could be his offspring, but after granting a match with Finlay for SummerSlam, it looked as if Mr. McMahon was warming to the idea. That is, until Chris Masters made his way to the ring and declared he had proof that he was the true son of the Chairman: A photo of the two from The Masterpieces childhood. Masters may have been overreaching, though, especially when he challenged Kane to take the Master Lock Challenge. Instead, he was Chokeslammed by the Big Red Monster, much to the disappointment of Mr. McMahon.
As if Masters night hadnt been bad enough, then Chuck Palumbo made his way to the ring and dismantled the Masterpiece. Palumbos return to SmackDown has been successful as the high-octane Superstar continued his winning ways.
No stranger to victory, the impressive Mark Henry demolished Brad Allen, only to again encounter the same presence that has haunted him throughout his path of destruction over the past several weeks Undertaker. The Worlds Strongest Man keeps insisting that hes the ruler of the SmackDown jungle but has he stepped into the domain that has for years been known as the yard of The Phenom?
Another SmackDown Superstar laying out his own share of devastation of late is Chavo Guerrero. In further preparing himself for his SummerSlam encounter against the man he injured 10 months ago, Rey Mysterio, Chavo annihilated Funaki. But instead of simply settling for the win, Guerrero instead opted to make an example out of his prone opponent, slamming a steel chair onto Funakis knee. Will Chavos aggressive ways help him defeat the returning Rey Mysterio this Sunday at SummerSlam?
Anger and aggression also seemed to follow Jamie Noble around as he continued his pursuit of Hornswoggle and the Cruiserweight Championship of the World. And he may have found it Friday night after defeating Jimmy Wang Yang in a No. 1 Contenders Match. Having capitalized on this great opportunity, Noble has earned himself another match with Hornswoggle for the title. Can he capitalize this time, or will he fall short once more against SmackDowns leprechaun?
It wouldnt be summer without the Sexiest Women on Television. Thankfully, the Divas of SmackDown know this, so they treated our fans to a Biggest Party of the Summer Bikini Contest, only 48 hours before they all take part in SummerSlams Divas Battle Royal, the winner of which will become the No. 1 contender against Womens Champion Candice. Torrie, Victoria, Kristal and Michelle McCool thought they were the only Divas competing in the contest, until SmackDown announcer Michael Cole revealed a surprise for our fans at the University of South Carolina. With that, he called out South Carolinas own Mae Young, who at 84 years young thrilled our fans in her home state and actually won the contest.
Official "iMPACT!" Results For Thursday, August 23, 2007 August 24th, 2007 12:36 OFFICIAL iMPACT! RESULTS FOR THURSDAY, AUGUST 23, 2007 By Mike Kerrigan
iMPACT! opens up as Kurt and Karen Angle arrive to the arena. Jeremy Borash comes up and asks Kurt what hes going to do if the Steiner Brothers win tonight and then have 5 minutes alone with Karen. Kurt tries to ignore JB and tells Karen to get out of the car. Karen finally does so, but tells Kurt Get me out of this! as she walks into the building. Kurt then tells JB that he needs a divorce.
The first match of the night starts off as Robert Roode and Ms. Brooks challenge Kazarian and Gail Kim. Kazarian gains control early on in the match, but is distracted by Ms. Brooks which sets up for a spinebuster from Roode. Gail is able to tag in, as does Ms. Brooks, but Brooks is met by a vicious spear by Gail followed by a small package. Gail picks up the victory and Roode blames it all on Ms. Brooks. As Roode yells at his CEO, Kazarian comes in and shoves Roode followed by a Yakuza kick that sends Roode to the floor. Kazarian grabs the mic and says Theres 2 things wrong with you Robert Roode. 1 youre a prick! 2 you have no idea how to treat a real lady. Kazarian then goes and kisses Ms. Brooks on her cheek to which it seems that Ms. Brooks enjoys.
Next, video is shown from Christian Cages home, where Cage looks like hes on his deathbed. Cage tells AJ and Tomko to take care of Samoa Joe.
Cowboy James Storms Bar Crawl is then shown. It seems as though Storm thinks Rhino is out drinking and he scours the bar scene to try and find the War Machine but to no avail.
Back in Jim Cornettes office, Kurt and Karen Angle are still trying to get out of the stipulations for the main event match. Jim Cornette refuses and tells Kurt that next week there will it will be determined who Kurts tag team partner will be in the match against Team Pacman.
Ron The Truth Killings vs. Eric Young is up next. Eric takes it to Truth early on in the match even showing off some of his aerial moves with a suicidal dive though the ropes. Throughout the match, Dustin Rhodes (not in his Black Reign attire) is seen in the crowd cheering on Eric Young. The Truth goes to get a chair, but EY dropkicks it into Truths face. Eric goes up to the top rope, but Truth throws Rudy into the turnbuckle, making Eric fall to the mat in the process. Truth then hits Eric with the chair, followed up by a big leg drop to get the victory. Pacman Jones then comes to the ring and Truth tells the camera man to get ready for a Sportscenter Moment as Pacman spray paints PAC across Erics back.
JB is in the back when Tomko and AJ come up looking for Samoa Joe and walk off. Team 3D then enters and say that they are sorry for the things they have done in recent weeks. They apologize to the Steiners, JB, and the fans in the Impact Zone and around the world.
AJ and Tomko are seen right outside Joes locker-room, when out of nowhere, Joe pulls in Tomko and a lot of crashing and banging is heard from the outside. AJ pounds on the door, trying to get inside. Joe then opens the door and AJ asks Is Tomko in there? Joe then chases AJ off camera. Back from the break, AJ is seen being chased by Samoa Joe around the ring. Joe catches up with the Phenomenal One and attacks him. Tomko comes down to the ring just long enough to distract Joes attention. Christian Cage then makes a surprise appearance and hits Joe from behind. Cage hits Joe with a conchairto as Joe lay motionless on the mat.
A video is shown of Jim Mitchell. He says to Abyss Congratulations on your title match at No Surrender. By the way, did you like that little attack a couple weeks ago? There will be more surprises soon; because my son is coming Judas Mesias is coming!!!
Kurt Angle vs. the Steiner Brothers is up next. The Steiners take the action to Kurt quickly. Karen tries to get involved in the match numerous times, but the numbers are against Kurt. It looked as though the Steiners were going to get their 5 minutes with Karen when Rick hit a Bulldog from the top rope, but Team 3D entered the ring and gave a 3D to Dog-faced Gremlin Allowing Kurt to pick up the victory in the process. The Angles quickly left the ringside area as the Steiners gave another 3D to Scott Steiner. Devon then placed Rick on Brother Rays shoulders, and Ray came down with a force; powerbombing Rick through a table, as the show came to a close.
NoDQ.com > WWE > Bret Hart's WWE Return, Hart Foundation Change Posted by Steve Carrier on 08/22/2007 at 09:17 PM
Credit: F4Wonline.com
- As previously posted, Harry Smith, Teddy Hart and Nattie Neidhart are working under the name Hart Foundation 2.0. WWE is looking to bring them up to the main roster soon, and are trying hard to get Bret Hart to work an introduction angle in trade for WWE promoting his new book, that is set to be released in October.
If Bret won't do it, Jim Neidhart is very willing to come in and do the angle. SmackDown writer Michael Hayes is very high on Teddy Hart as he reminds Hayes of his World Class Championship Wrestling persona and feels like he "lives the gimmick."
- TJ Wilson, who has basically been considered a member of the Hart Family and is also dating Nattie, will not be included in the group as first thought. Instead, it appears he will be brought up to the roster as a cruiserweight on the SmackDown brand.
ECW Champion John Morrison & The Miz def. CM Punk & Boogeyman
Results:Strange days over? By Andrew Rote August 21, 2007
COLUMBIA, S.C. Heading into ECW on Sci Fi this week, it appeared SummerSlam could be the end for ECW Champion John Morrison. Nothing had been going right for weeks, capped off with a loss to his arch-nemesis and pay-per-view opponent CM Punk in tag team action at Saturday Nights Main Event. Morrison & The Miz, however, notched a win against the Straightedge Superstar with Boogeyman when Morrison got the three-count on Punk. The win could be a resurrection of sorts for the titleholder, who was searching for inspiration as the Biggest Party of the Summer quickly approaches. Our fans will learn Sunday if this is an awakening or if the third time is not a charm for the ECW Champion when Morrison and Punk square off once more for the gold. (WATCH) Read more on this story
While Tuesday night ended with a crash of lightning, a roll of thunder started the evening as Big Daddy V stomped into the ring to take on Tommy Dreamer in an Extreme Rules Match. Much to the ECW Originals disappointment, Matt Strikers protégé beat Dreamer at his own game. Absolutely nothing has slowed down the monstrous student, and despite having as much experience as any other ECW Superstar, Dreamer was another name to add to the beasts menu.
Another ECW Original had a much better night. Balls Mahoney may have earned three wins on ECW on Sci Fi if the cards fall the way he wants them to. Mahoney got the better of Elijah Burke after having struggled against the cocky Superstar ever since the self-proclaimed Guiding Light of ECW joined Tuesday nights roster.
Just earlier, the Chair-Swinging Freak learned he could very well be Mr. McMahons illegitimate son. If being in that position wasnt enough good news for the ECW Original, an unusually nice Miz told him Kelly might go out with him if he is in fact a McMahon. Kelly didnt answer, but they locked eyes and smiled as she parted. (WATCH)
Do the results foreshadow a rising of ECWs king, or are Morrisons days as champion truly over? Find out at SummerSlam on Sunday at 8/7 CT only on pay-per-view, and dont forget to see what develops on the next ECW on Sci Fi on Tuesday at 10/9 CT.
WWE Management are asking the wrestlers for their creative input and
ideas following poor ratings. It seems they half want to give the ball
to someone and let them run with it (John Morrison is mainly all Johnny
Nitro's input) but at the same time are worried with how it might go.
There
is some talk to bring in Jerry Lynn who recently asked for his release
from TNA. WWE feel he can fill the spot Chris Benoit was supposed to on
ECW. That being a grizzled veteran that can work with the younger guys
and add some depth to the roster. Lynn is of course an ECW original as
well.
WWE has officially announced that they have signed Ring of
Honor/Wrestling Society X star Matt Sydal. There is no word on when he
is expected to report to their developmental territory however he is
expected to fulfill his contractual obligations.
Sydal has been a very hot commodity since the demise of WSX. Both TNA and ROH have made negations with him.
Womens Champion Candice Michelle and Mickie James def. Melina and Beth Phoenix
Cody Rhodes def. Shelton Benjamin
Brian Kendrick & Paul London def. World Tag Team Champions Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch (non-title)
Carlito vs. Mr. Kennedy for the No. 1 Contendership for the Intercontinental Championship (draw, double pin)
John Cena def. Snitsky (disqualification)
Results:Royally wrong: King Booker mocks Triple H with imposter
By Corey Clayton
August 20, 2007
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. King Booker wanted a royal coronation, and he got one. And the gracious king that he is, he even gave our fans Triple H.
Or so it appeared. King Booker called out his SummerSlam opponent, The King of Kings, Triple H. He ordered The Game to come to the ring and crown King Booker the one, true king of WWE. And the Carolina fans got The Game.
That is, if Triple H was left in a clothes dryer way too long during his absence.
Sporting a crown, animal skins, a fake nose and long blond wig, a very undersized imposter posing as the 10-time World Champion came out to The Games theme music, and crowned the 2006 King of the Ring tournament winner.
The imposter then bowed at King Booker and Queen Sharmells feet, to the delight of the royal couple. As the crowd booed the charade, King Booker promised that Triple Hs return at the Biggest Party of the Summer would be a fruitful one for him and Sharmell.
I, King Booker, the one true king, will make you bow down, Booker proclaimed to the imposter.
King Bookers attention then turned toward the announcers desk, and Jerry The King Lawlers longtime broadcast colleague, Jim Ross. Lawler was conspicuous by his absence; he was home nursing the injuries he has received from King Booker after he refused to officially crown him king on Raw last week at New York Citys Madison Square Garden. Booker demanded that Ross apologize for the negative remarks he made about the monarch after the beating. When Ross refused twice, Sharmell jumped on his back, forcing the commentators head into Bookers ring.
The Oklahoman had fierce words for King Booker after the incident.
Its Game on, my friend Game on at SummerSlam for you, J.R. proclaimed.
In other Raw action, Mr. McMahon announced that his illegitimate child was a male WWE Superstar. But we still did not know the identity of the Chairmans love child by nights end, though we may have seen a few hints.
Mr. McMahon hopes that his illegitimate son has the characteristics of certain Superstars, but WWE Champion John Cena is not one of them. He earned The Champs wrath when he told Cena he may have slept with his mother. When Cena slapped Mr. McMahon to the mat, the Chairman responded by making him face the undefeated Snitsky in the nights main event.
The deranged giant promised the Chairman that he would make Cena feel true pain, but The Champ fought valiantly. As Cena looked to deliver the FU to Snitsky, Orton ran into the ring and RKOd Cena.
Then, as Cena staggered to his feet, Orton blasted The Champ with yet another RKO. The Legend Killer picked up the WWE Championship, and glared down at his unconscious SummerSlam foe. Was this a sign of what awaits Cena at SummerSlam?
In a match to determine the Intercontinental Champion Umagas opponent for SummerSlam, Carlito and Kennedy faced each other after the Green Bay gladiator interrupted Carlitos Cabana, with the Samoan Bulldozer. After a superplex, both competitors shoulders were on the mat when the referee made the three-count, forcing him to rule the match a draw.
Raw GM William Regal immediately made the Intercontinental Championship Match at SummerSlam a Triple Threat Match. Both Kennedy and Carlito argued in the ring after the announcement.
The World Tag Team Champions Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch were upset by high-flyers Paul London & Brian Kendrick in non-title action.
As the boys from Brooklyn, N.Y., Cryme Tyme, came down to ringside and tried to auction off Murdochs trucker cap, the distraction caused enough confusion for the champions to allow Kendrick to snare Cade in a crucifix to earn the three-count.
Meanwhile, Murdoch needs a new cap. One lucky fan bought it for just $2.
Also, the current Womens Champion Candice Michelle teamed with Mickie James to defeat Melina & Beth Phoenix in tag team action. Coming off the announcement of a tri-branded Divas Battle Royal by Regal and a guaranteed title opportunity for the winner, Mickie threw Candice from the ring after the match. Then Melina attacked James and tossed her out to the ringside mat. Finally, Beth Phoenix threw Melina over the top rope to the floor, showing that there will be no friends, only foes, at SummerSlam.
Cody Rhodes continued his winning ways after he converted a Boston Crab attempt by Shelton Benjamin into a small package to gain a pinfall over the Self-Proclaimed Worlds Greatest Tag Team member. After the loss, Benjamin and his partner, Charlie Haas, attacked the young Superstar.
However, in a lighter moment on Raw, Maria finally went out on the date with Ron Simmons that she won on The Dating Game two weeks ago. But jealous boyfriend Santino Marella interfered and brought Jillian Hall to the local restaurant as his own date. For his efforts, the increasingly braggadocios Italian got food tossed on his lap.
NEW YORK WWEs return to NBC Saturday night saw the historic return to the ring of boxing legend Evander Holyfield. Our fans also witnessed WWE Champion John Cena get flattened by Randy Orton. Stone Cold Steve Austin showed up for the affair, only to send Mr. McMahon to the floor. But thats not all. Saturday Nights Main Event also featured two stacked tag team matches with sneak previews of SummerSlam, just around the corner.
Batista & Kane kicked off the show, taking on their respective rivals, The Great Khali & Finlay. While the World Heavyweight Champion has had an edge over The Animal recently, squeezing his head like a grape on SmackDown, Batista had the Big Red Machine to help his cause this time. During the contest, Batista & Kane gave The Great Khali a taste of his own medicine, burying him with a double chokeslam.
Kane had the chance to exorcise some of his own demons as well. He and Batista were able to do what millions of kids try to do unsuccessfully every March 17 catch a leprechaun. They made the most out of their accomplishment, using Hornswoggle as a battering ram on the Indian giant. When Batista & Kane were done dominating their opponents, The Animal put the cherry on top with a Batista Bomb and a three-count at Finlays expense.
In other tag team action, ECW Champion John Morrison & Big Daddy V took on champion-hopeful CM Punk & Boogeyman. For weeks, it seemed Morrison had Punks number, defeating him in two consecutive ECW Championship Matches. But when the Straightedge Superstar pinned Morrison during his 15 Minutes of Fame open challenge, the tables began to turn.
Boogeyman and Big Daddy V provided scary competition, but the intensity when Punk and Morrison were in the ring was as extreme as ever for a Saturday night. When the music was over, it was Punk who left with a smile on his face, pinning the champion for the second time in two weeks. (WATCH)
Did these tag team battles foreshadow whats to come at the Biggest Party of the Summer? The only way to find out is to catch SummerSlam live on pay-per-view on August 26 at 8/7 CT.
Results:Hand-slotted reprisal By Alissa Fuhrman August 17, 2007
UNCASVILLE, Conn. Our fans at the Mohegan Sun Arena hit the jackpot when they witnessed a WrestleMania 23 rematch on Friday Night SmackDown: Kane versus the World Heavyweight Champion, The Great Khali, in non-title action. Despite having a battered rib cage, the Big Red Machine fought hard. Unfortunately, his attempt to chokeslam the 7-foot-3 colossus was stopped short as his skull was forcefully clutched in Khalis Vise Grip. With Kane on his knees, Finlay found a golden opportunity for revenge against his attack earlier that night, and attacked the Big Red Monsters ribs. Already irritated from the humiliation he endured at the hands of Khali last week, The Animal ran out to stop the Irishman and the giant, only to again fall to the Khali Vise Grip. A little VIP treatment awaited Matt Hardy Friday night when he and our fans joined the flashy United States Champion in MVPs VIP Lounge. Matt arrived at the Ballin lounge, prepared for anything that the Franchise Playa could throw at him or so he thought. Reiterating that he couldnt compete in their next challenge, a Boxing Match at Saturday Nights Main Event, due to his recently treated heart condition, the swaggering Superstar assured that his replacement boxings only four-time Heavyweight Champion of the World, Evander Holyfield would get the job done. MVP had an additional surprise contest in store for Hardy this night: Chris Masters and his Master Lock Challenge. Matt looked like he might have been up to the challenge and actually break Masters hold, until MVP repeatedly kicked Hardys exposed mid-section and laid him out with the Playmaker. More on this story
A week ago, Jamie Noble had cost Finlay a match against Matt Hardy when he tried to attack the fighting Irishmans miniature comrade and Cruiserweight Champion of the World, Hornswoggle. On Friday night, Finlay made Noble pay dearly for his actions, working his knee and nearly ending the contest with a Celtic Cross -- until Kane suddenly appeared to deliver some week-old payback of his own. But while Kane attacked the Irishman, Noble unexpectedly got shoved into the Big Red Machine by Hornswoggle. In return, an incensed Kane handed Noble a hellacious chokeslam.
In other SmackDown action, a focused Chavo Guerrero made an example of what he plans to do to Rey Mysterio when he makes his big return at the Biggest Party of the Summer one week from Sunday. Aggressively manhandling and defeating Shannon Moore with a brainbuster wasnt enough for Chavo to end his Friday night fun, however. Instead, the former Cruiserweight Champion, hoping Rey was watching at home, mocked the Master of the 619 by putting a replica mask over Moores head, then hitting the Frog Splash to injure his downed opponents knee.
Mark Henry also provided his own entertainment Friday night, by obliterating Brad Cardona and finishing him off with a catastrophic bear hug. But as the self-proclaimed Silverback once again showed video footage of his attack on Undertaker last May, disturbing footage from Death Valley suddenly aired on the TitanTron, the lights flickered and a familiar death knell sounded. The Worlds Strongest Man looked increasingly uneasy as two Druids stood outside the ring, then vanished after a flash of light, leaving a mound of sand with footprints inside.
Raws Executive Assistant Jonathan Coachman wasnt exactly following footprints so much as he was trying to help Mr. McMahon uncover which Superstar could be Mr. McMahons illegitimate child. The search brought them to Uncasville Friday night, but the Chairmans past indiscretions could have been linked to anyone, from The Great Khali to Kane to Funaki to even Big Dick Johnson. Could one of the SmackDown Superstars have the Chairman in their blood? As Coachman told Mr. McMahon on Raw the other night, he may have an answer come Saturday Nights Main Event; until then, the WWE locker rooms will remain abuzz.
A much happier conversation took place within the SmackDown General Managers confines, as glowing bride-to-be Kristal asked Torrie Wilson and Michelle McCool to be her bridesmaids when she and GM Theodore Long say I do on SmackDown Sept. 21. Victoria, accompanied by boy toy Kenny Dykstra, entered the room and expressed her disappointment that she wasnt included in the bridal party, while Michelle countered that the best gift they could give would be if they didnt show up at the wedding. After Victoria and Michelle furiously clawed each other, Long ordered the feisty vixens to take their frustrations out in the ring. It was apparent that the deranged Diva didnt want Michelle loving life anymore, as she trash-talked and pounded mercilessly at the sexy Diva. Amazingly, SmackDowns All-American Girl quickly turned things around with a authoritative kick to the head and a top-rope clothesline to score the pinfall.
In other SmackDown action, The Major Brothers faced WWE Tag Team Champions Deuce & Domino in a non-title match. The contest could have gone either way until Brian Majors attempted crossbody for the victory missed Deuce, allowing the hot-headed Superstar to quickly take advantage with the pinfall.
NoDQ.com > WWE > Mr. Kennedy admits that he took steroids
Posted by Bobby Spade on 08/17/2007 at 10:30 PM
From an interview on The UK Sun:
MR KENNEDY has hit back at the WWE's critics - insisting that, while
there have been many drug problems in the wrestling business, the
majority of today's stars are now clean.
In the lengthiest interview with any current WWE employee since
grappler Chris Benoit murdered his wife and child, Ken admits that he,
like Benoit, took steroids.
But he adds when the WWE introduced their Wellness Policy after the
death of Eddie Guerrero in November 2005 it forced him to give them up.
He told us: "I don't take steroids, but I have taken steroids in the past.
"I never took a lot, but when I was working the independent scene I was trying everything I could.
"I never took massive amounts of steroids and do you know why I stopped taking them?
"Because of the Wellness Policy.
"Because I knew that having a job with the WWE was way more
important than the 10 pounds of extra muscle that the steroids gave
me."
In our world exclusive WrestleCast, below, Ken debates the issue
with Radio 1's Manchester-born DJ Joel Ross and The Sun's wrestling
correspondent, Londoner Simon 'LilsBoy' Rothstein.
He concedes that some changes need to be made to stop more wrestlers dying and insists the WWE are working on that right now.
However, Ken also slams the former superstars currently speaking
out and insists that people are focussing too heavily on the "bad
apples".
The former United States champion then discusses his personal
memories of Benoit and the shock that his pal turned out to be a
murderer.

iMPACT! News/Video: Pacman Jones And The Truth Team Up Impact Results
August 16th, 2007 22:00 TEAM PACMAN TO CHALLENGE FOR THE TNA WORLD TAG TEAM TITLE AT NO SURRENDER Plus - Kurt Angle To Defend All Three TNA Championships At No Surrender By Bill Banks
There are several major news items to report from Thursdays iMPACT! broadcast on SpikeTV as TNA Wrestling continues towards the No Surrender Pay-Per-View on Sunday, September 9!
- According to Ron The Truth Killings, he wasnt the person that attacked Pacman Jones at the Hard Justice Pay-Per-View. Now, The Truth and Pacman Jones have formed an alliance in TNA Wrestling and Team Pacman will have a major opportunity at the upcoming No Surrender Pay-Per-View event on September 9 as they will challenge for the TNA World Tag Team Title (more details below).
- In a bout signed by TNA Management Director Jim Cornette, Black Machismo Jay Lethal defeated The Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels to become the new number-one contender to the TNA X Division Championship.
- Also on the broadcast, Abyss defeated The Instant Classic Christian Cage in a First Blood match to retain his shot at the TNA World Heavyweight Championship at No Surrender against Kurt Angle. Samoa Joe interfered in the bout, costing Cage his shot at the gold.
- Earlier in the program during a backstage interview, Samoa Joe promised he wouldnt stop until he became the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion and that meant a new, more focused and heartless Samoan Submission Machine.
- Also on the broadcast, Kurt Angle and wife Karen presented the first annual Angle Awards to celebrate the scheme they used to beat Samoa Joe at Hard Justice. However, the ceremony was interrupted by Jim Cornette, who informed Angle that he will defend all the TNA championships in one night at No Surrender the World Title against Abyss, the X Title against Black Machismo Jay Lethal and the World Tag Team Title against Team Pacman! According to Cornette, Angle had better find himself a partner quick for the tag team title defense.
- In another bombshell, Cornette also announced that next Thursday night on iMPACT! on SpikeTV, Kurt Angle will face The Steiner Brothers in a handicap match. If The Steiners beat Angle, they get 5 minutes alone in the ring with Karen Angle.
- Also during the iMPACT! broadcast, monster TNA newcomer Matt Morgan continued to watch Cornettes back, as he got in the face of The Truth, Pacman Jones and even Kurt Angle when they tried to intimidate the TNA Management Director.

Boogeyman def. ECW Champion John Morrison (Non-title)
Results:
Manhandling the Extreme
By Lennie DiFino
August 14, 2007
UNCASVILLE, Conn. On a night when Armando Estrada became the first Cuban-American General Manager in sports-entertainment history, the eccentric Estrada showed he is indeed capable of ruling over the Land of Extreme. The new ECW GM oversaw the contract signing between ECW Champion John Morrison and CM Punk and then ordered the two men into separate action. Morrison took on Boogeyman and the Straightedge Superstar took on Big Daddy V.
While Punks night was over after the beating he took, Big Daddy V was just warming up. Later in the night, ECWs bully decimated Tommy Dreamer in one-on-one action. Dreamer had requested of Estrada to be first in line to challenge the winner of the SummerSlam encounter between ECW Champion John Morrison and CM Punk, but ECWs General Manager told Dreamer he believed he was lazy. In an effort to prove himself, Dreamer sprinted his way to the ring, only to be flattened by Big Daddy V.
Mirroring Big Daddy Vs impressive streak, Steven Richards looked to continue his winning ways against Kevin Thorn. After two impressive victories over Thorn in recent weeks, Richards was hoping to make it three in a row against the vamp Superstar. Thorn had other plans and finally picked up a victory against Richards. But the angry Thorn continued to unleash his fury on Richards, forcing the referee to reverse his decision and award the contest to Steven Richards.
Balls Mahoneys interactions with Kelly Kelly continued this week on ECW on Sci Fi, and the ECW Original seems to have sparked a friendship with one of the Sexiest Women on Television, much to the disgust of The Miz, Layla and Brooke.
Speaking of romance, the search for the illegitimate child of Mr. McMahon found its way to ECW. Elijah Burke discussed the possibility that he is a McMahon with Jonathan Coachman. Is it possible that many years ago Mr. McMahon had an encounter that led to his siring an Extreme bastard?
Citaat WWE released developmental women's wrestler Shantelle Taylor, 21, from her contract earlier today.
After getting noticed by WWE through an open tryout in early 2006, Taylor signed a developmental deal with WWE in May of last year. Taylor had been working in the Florida Championship Wrestling territory since the closure of Deep South Wrestling. Taylor appeared on one WWE house show swing earlier in the year when she wrestled Jamie Noble as an ambiguous masked wrestler. Officials gave Taylor another look when she wrestled Jillian Hall in a dark match prior to a Smackdown/ECW taping in June. She beat Jillian in the match. It was reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter a few weeks ago that WWE was looking to call up some female talents to the main roster and that Taylor probably had the best shot at getting a call-up.
Unlike the case of former developmental wrestler Tomasso Whitney, WWE hasn't publicly acknowledged her release on the company website. Taylor's firing marks as the fourth WWE firing within the past eight days.
Sylvain Grenier released by WWE Written: August 13, 2007WWE has come to terms on the release of Sylvain Grenier as of today. We wish Sylvain the best in all future endeavors.
