- WWE has signed Mexican star Incognito, who has worked as the original Mystico. He had a tryout with TNA a few years ago and looked real good but was dropped when he missed a TV taping.
- As noted before, WWE recently gave Charlie Haas a raise after he asked for his release. WWE has decided to continue to pay him while he sits at home and currently, the creative team has no plans for him to return to the storylines.
It was noted earlier this year that several WWE Superstars had their pushes stopped due to excessive marijuana test failures. After MVP appeared on Opie & Anthony last week, one could assume that he was one of those stars.
MVP appeared on the radio show on December 16th to plug WWE's Troops Tribute but talked about how much he enjoys pot. MVP said when he was in Iraq, one of the soldiers told him that a lot of marijuana is grown in Afghanistan and MVP said he's now disappointed this year that he didn't get to go to Afghanistan.
MVP said that while he enjoys pot, he no longer does it because WWE's $2,500 fines started to stack up.
MVP also told a story about doing a tryout match in TNA years ago when a "washed-up wrestler" came up to him and said he, MVP, was sitting in his seat. MVP sensed the guy was picking a fight and claims he got up and punched the wrestler in the face. MVP wouldn't name who he claimed to punch but said his name rhymes with Maven. Obviously he was talking about Raven.
He was also asked about ring rats and said he got into the business 10 years too late because there are no longer women waiting in the hotels after shows. MVP blames this on Vince McMahon putting on a PG show.
Ezekiel Jackson vs. Vladimir Kozlov ended in a No Contest by Double Count-Out Chavo Guerrero def. Primo Kane def. Mike Knox
On the Christmas Eve edition of WWE Superstars on WGN America, six Superstars battled it out in their own festive fights, while two more Superstars unveiled a special present for the WWE Universe next week on SmackDown.

Kane def. Mike Knox (PHOTOS | WATCH) One wouldnt think The Big Red Monster would be celebrating on Christmas Eve, but after defeating the very vicious Mike Knox, it seems that Kane has a reason to embrace the holiday spirit. It wasnt easy, but that didnt seem to bother SmackDowns resident Red Monster, and in the end, after connecting with a devastating chokeslam, Kane got the 1-2-3. It seems only appropriate that the sadistic ones trademark red be met with green envy after his win this holiday season.
John Morrison confronts Intercontinental Champion Drew McIntyre (PHOTOS | WATCH) It was only a matter of time until The Friday Night Delight invoked his rematch clause, and he did it at a time that will surely take McIntyres holiday spirit away. But, at the Scottish Superstars expense comes a great gift for the WWE Universe, as next week on SmackDown, John Morrison will fight McIntyre in an attempt to regain the Intercontinental Title. This, of course, didnt sit well with the Scotland native, and after Morrison informed him of the news, he attempted to attack The Friday Night Delight but instead got a ride on Starship Pain for his efforts, giving just a slight preview of might be to come next Friday.
Chavo Guerrero def. Primo (PHOTOS | WATCH) In recent months, Guerrero hasnt had the best of luck, but if Thursday night was any representation of things to come in 2010, Chavo will certainly be looking toward a happy New Year. Battling it out with Primo is never an easy feat, and throughout the match, there were moments where it seemed like the self-proclaimed Mexican Warrior was done for. However, when it was all said and done, Guerrero still walked out as the victor after securing the three-count.
Ezekiel Jackson vs. Vladimir Kozlov ended in a No Contest by Double Count-Out (PHOTOS | WATCH) With the match ending in a Double Count-Out, its doubtful that either man will be too cheerful this holiday season not that a bright demeanor is exactly either of their M.O.s. Both of these men want a piece of each other, as has been made evident over the past several weeks, and a No Contest does nothing for the two in seeking superiority over the other. Being the victor last week, Jackson might have the slight advantage in the battle between these two colossuses, but it is guaranteed that things are far from over between these former knights of The Ruthless Roundtable.
Will DX be a backstage problem for Bret Hart? Posted by Chris Kaufman on 12/24/2009 at 12:01 PM

According to Dave Meltzer, sources in WWE are interested to see how the politics will be with Triple H once Bret Hart is back in the company. Many are curious to see how diplomatic Triple H will be with the whole situation.
Most feel that given the recent changes in his life, Shawn Michaels will get along fine and wouldn't be surprised if he gave Hart an apology.
Chris Jericho to continue appearing on RAW? Posted by Chris Kaufman on 12/23/2009 at 09:25 PM

Evidently, WWE is not even giving lip service to its storyline on Chris Jericho no longer being allowed to appear on RAW as he's being advertised to wrestle John Cena at some RAW television tapings in January. It should be noted, however, that they are dark matches.
Velvet Sky and April Hunter have apparently made amends after working Monday's Impact taping in Orlando together. The TNA Knockout posted a candid photo of herself with Hunter backstage at the show with a caption reading "Truce!!!! :)"
Before joining TNA, Sky, whose real name is Jamie Szantyr, formed a tag team with Hunter known as T&A which was apparently a spoof on "Divas." The group gained notoriety and worked a number of independent shows together over the course of 2005 and 2006. However, in late 2006, the two best friends had a really ugly split that eventually spilled over online with both women's wrestlers personally attacking each other through various blog posts. Apparently, the two had not spoken to each other since their break-up.
The Kingston Times News has reported that former WWE & TNA star Kid Kash, real name David Cash, has been arrested on charges of identity theft, theft of property and forgery. Specifically, he was arrested on 4 counts of identity theft, 2 counts of forgery under $500 and four counts of theft of property under $500.
According to the report, the charges came about when Cash allegedly used the credit card of a female acquaintance four times without her permission.
Cash is maintaining that he had permission to use the card, and had used it multiple times with the female's permission.
Cash is being held on $10,000 bond in a Washington County detention center in Tennessee and is scheduled to go before the court on 1/4/10.
- Regarding WWE signing The Briscoe Brothers, WWE has strong interest in bringing them in but the team wouldn't be able to sign until their ROH deals are up. ROH is aware of the situation between WWE and the Briscoes and has no problems with them considering WWE.
When Eve went for the egg nog, Carlito said "yo sabia que te gustaba el huevo" In English, that means, "I knew you liked eggs" or in slang "I knew you liked balls". Huevo translated in English is egg. It means the same thing in spanish too but its also slang for testicles (balls) and can be construed that way depending on how you say it.
- According to Dave Meltzer, TNA has been putting pressure on Ric Flair to sign a contract with the company. Flair has been on vacation over the weekend, and the belief is that if he doesn't sign in time for the January 4th Impact, TNA might pull the offer off the table.
Thanks to James Caldwell of PWTorch.com for the following recap:
TNA's Jeff Jarrett says he expects the battle between WWE and TNA to be a "different game" by the end of 2010 with the addition of Hulk Hogan to the promotion.
Jarrett said the right things in an interview promoting an upcoming house show about TNA receiving a boost by adding the "most recognizable name in professional wrestling."
Jarrett said competing with WWE puts them in the conversation to start the year and their goal is to be at WWE's level by the end of the year.
"Are we going to come right out of the gate and beat them (WWE)? Are we claiming that? Absolutely not," Jarrett said. "But we're in the game, and competition is good. We are very optimistic that by the end of 2010, it'll be a different game."
Website claims that Scott Hall has signed with TNA
According to The Sports Courier, Scott Hall has in fact signed a contract with TNA Wrestling. The website's source states Hall, who is now 51, will return to the organization during its live three-hour broadcast on Monday, January 4, 2010.
According to multiple sources within TNA, Scott Hall is expected to appear on the live episode of iMPACT! opposite RAW on January 4, 2010. The two names I've been hearing a lot are Rob Van Dam and Scott Hall. We'll see come January 4th.
Hall, who is now 51, is expected to reform an Outsiders/nWo reunion with Kevin Nash and possibly others, but without the WCW labels due to World Wrestling Entertainment owning the trademarks. Hall's MySpace mood for the past week has said: "It's in the air.... can you feel it??.. something sensational is coming soon !!!!"
Sean 'X-Pac' Waltman's name has also been mentioned for the reunion, but the latest indication given is that he is not a lock to appear. It should be noted that Waltman is telling friends in Mexico that he is returning though.
Hall last appeared in TNA two years ago, briefly feuding with The Angle Alliance (Kurt Angle, AJ Styles and Tomko). Hall was scheduled to partner with Nash and Samoa at the December 2007 pay-per-view, Turning Point, but Hall no-showed the event. During the live show, Joe cut a heated promo on Hall while Nash stood in the background.
Despite Hall's poor track record with the company, recent reports regarding his behavior at independent shows have been positive. In a recent Twitter post, Nash vouched for Hall with the following: "Talked to Scott on Monday (December 7) and he sounded great!"
It is well known that Scott has an amazing mindset for the business but just has his demons. All indications right now though are that he is doing well.

- Apparently TNA's street team sent fans to the WWE TV tapings in Orlando on Sunday night to hand out TNA flyers. WWE and arena security ended up taking the flyers and kicking the TNA fans off the property.
