-- One of the reasons WWE put Carlito together with his brother Eddie (Primo) in a tag team is because they believe it will help improve Carlito. Eddie is said to have a great attitude and works hard. They are hoping it rubs off on Carlito, with the idea that he won't want his little brother to outshine him in WWE.
Last week, new WWE Mexico President Bosco Attolini Pesqueira said WWE is looking to sign some of the biggest wrestling names in Mexico. Pesqueira noted WWE now has its own offices in Mexico and its television on Televisa and TV Azteca, which gives them equal, if not better exposure, than both AAA and CMLL. He said the TV deals with make WWE bigger and entice talent to sign with them. Anyway, WWE has signed someone. The first signing is Dos Caras Jr., who has been in talks with WWE for a few months and was close to signing in the summer, but passed on the offer.
Caras Jr. said he's leaving on bad terms with CMLL, but will fulfill a few more bookings, with his last night being this Friday night at Arena Mexico in the main event. Caras Jr. still holds the CMLL World Heavyweight Championship, and while it's been known for a few months that he may be leaving, they never set up a program for him to lose the title.
One of the reasons he's leaving CMLL for WWE is because in his eyes, CMLL didn't seem too care if he left or not. After WWE made him an offer over the summer, CMLL never tried to convince him to stay. Caras Jr. said the only reason he's fulfilling all of his dates for CMLL is because he's a professional and plans to honor his contract until it expires.
Caras Jr. said CMLL is in bad shape, noting the unhappy wrestlers and lackluster attendance. Caras Jr. plans on vacating the title and said CMLL thought he would take the belt with him to WWE. However, WWE isn't going to recognize the title of another organization they have no relationship with.

There are several news items to report from Thursday's "iMPACT!" as TNA Wrestling prepares for our biggest event of the year this Sunday on Pay-Per-View with "Bound For Glory"...
- During the broadcast, Mick Foley called out Jeff Jarrett and Kurt Angle for a face to face to go over last minute instructions. - Christian Cage tried to work out his differences with AJ Styles to start the broadcast, but Booker T interrupted their talk...and ended up making things worse! Unfortunately for Jamie Noble, he paid the price with a Worlds Strongest Slam. Mark Henry dominated Jamie Noble in a match that Noble was backed into during a verbal exchange with Henry earlier in the night in ECW General Manager Theodore Longs office.
After the match was over, the Worlds Strongest Man continued to punish Noble by brutally slamming him two more times to the canvas. But, Hardy didnt like what he saw and rushed to Nobles aid. However, Hardy paid a heavy price as Henry punished him with a Worlds Strongest Slam and a crushing 400-pound splash. After the carnage, Hardy was left motionless on the canvas next to the fallen Noble.
Finlay & Tommy Dreamer def. Mike Knox & Jack Swagger (PHOTOS) Finlay pinned Mike Knox, giving the Belfast Brawler and Tommy Dreamer the win over Knox & The All-American American Jack Swagger. Hornswoggle intervened in the action to help his father by hitting Knox with a Tadpole Splash. Finlay followed up by bashing Knox with his shillelagh to get the pinfall. The victory was sweet revenge for Tommy Dreamer, who was defeated by Mike Knox last week on ECW and gutwrench powerbombed by Swagger after the bell. (WATCH)
SmackDown Diva Victoria, 37, posted a blog on her MySpace page yesterday in which she mentions hanging up the boots in the future. Victoria wrote: "I have been doing my best to lay the Smackdown every Friday night. I hope everyone followed us to MyNetwork. Again, I am very thankful to have had a long and successful WWE career. Although between you and me, I think I have one more championship run left before I hang up the wrestling boots. What do you think?" Victoria also mentions that her "Black Widow" custom car shop recently did cars for two WWE Superstars.
As you could see from RAW last night, WWE has apparently done away with online voting for this year's Cyber Sunday PPV. In previous years, fans could cast their votes free of charge as many times as they pleased, but this year they can only vote by sending a text message that carries a $.99 charge plus standard text rates. The total number of votes is expected to be much lower than previous years as a result, however WWE will most likely still make a decent amount of money from the voting system.
- Before RAW in Seattle tonight, Dolph Ziggler came out and tried to charm the crowd. He went on to defeat Rowdy Charlie Piper aka Charlie Haas in a nice bit of comedy for us fans.
- The arena is looking hot and packed with fans. A lot more signs than usual I have noticed. Me and my buddy clearly spotted Vince McMahon near the curtains earlier as soon as we got in. We were one of the first ones in.
-- SmackDown's debut on MyNetworkTV drew a 2.4 rating based on the fast nationals. This is by far the highest rated show in the history of the network and officials are said to be thrilled.

Shawn Michaels def. Lance Cade with a flurry of shots from a steel chair. Shawn Michaels came to the ring for his No Disqualification Match against Lance Cade suffering both physically and emotionally. Not only was the World Heavyweight Championship Ladder Match at No Mercy one of the most brutal of his entire career, but he only narrowly lost the title, due to interference from Lance Cade. HBKs former student, battling without Jericho at his side, reaped what he sowed on Raw though, as Michaels took revenge and battered Cade relentlessly with a steel chair. (WATCH | PHOTOS)
Kane & Mark Henry def. Rey Mysterio & ECW Champion Matt Hardy when the Big Red Monster chokeslammed Hardy. All four of these Superstars had hard-fought matches at No Mercy, only 24-hours prior to their tag-match tonight. Rey Mysterio in particular was still suffering from his match against Kane, in which he was clubbed with a steel chair while attempting an aerial maneuver. Unfortunately, even with the former World Heavyweight Champion at ringside, the Priceless third-generation Superstars were too much for Kingston. (PHOTOS)
Intercontinental Champion Santino Marella & Womens Champion Beth Phoenix def. Jamie Noble & Mickie James when Santino rolled up Noble after a distraction from The Glamazon; Noble attacked William Regal at ringside. Prior to the match, 2008 King of the Ring William Regal came to the announce table with Layla to observe the Mixed Tag Team Match. Intercontinental Champion Santino Marella and his partner in Glamarella emerged next, and the Italian Superstar continued to use the Honk-A-Meter to brag about his Intercontinental Title streak currently at all of seven weeks. In spite of Mickie and Jamie Nobles valiant efforts, Glamarella dominated the match, but Noble managed to take out his frustrations afterward by attacking Regal, who had recently stolen away the lovely Layla, in spite of Nobles attempts to woo her. Batista hit World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho with a spinebuster. Tonight, Batista will face JBL with his No. 1 contender status on the line. World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho opened Raw, announcing that he would be running the show while General Manager Mike Adamle was in a meeting with WWE Executive Vice Presidents Shane and Stephanie McMahon. Taking advantage of his role, Jericho placed Shawn Michaels in a No Disqualification Match against Lance Cade. Soon after doing so, he was interrupted by No. 1 contender Batista, ready to face him for the title that very night. Jericho refused and insulted The Animal, who responded by hitting the World Heavyweight Champion with a spinebuster.
After Jericho recovered, he set a No Mercy rematch between Batista and JBL, with The Animals No. 1 contendership on the line, and the World Heavyweight Champion himself acting as referee. (PHOTOS)

It appears that Chris Jericho did indeed lose a tooth during his ladder match against HBK tonight. We reported that he had been busted open, but upon reviewing the tape more closely, you can see that he lost a tooth on the left side of his mouth towards the middle of the bout. We'll have more on his injury status as it becomes available.
Rey Mysterio was telling one of the guys to pull his knee pad down, which may indicate that he did hurt his knee during the fall, which would make sense as Rey just returned from a previous knee injury.
No word yet on why Matt Striker was replaced by Jerry Lawler in the opening ECW bout.

(WATCH | PHOTOS) Triple H proved victorious in the Champions vs. Champions Triple Threat Match, hitting the Pedigree on Matt Hardy as he was closing the door on Chris Jericho. But when Jericho attacked Hardy after the match, Matts brother Jeff Hardy came to his aid, staying long enough to hit the Twist of Fate on The Game. As Jeff prepared to go airborne from the familiar ladder, however, Vladimir Kozlov came from nowhere to delivered a vicious mid-flight head butt before laying waste to both him and The King of Kings.
Mark Henry & The Great Khali def. Chavo Guerrero. Big Show and Undertaker involved afterward. (WATCH | PHOTOS) With SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero recovering from the Tombstone she received last week from Undertaker, Big Show ruled SmackDown with an iron fist forcing Chavo Guerrero to take on The Great Khali & Mark Henry in a Handicap Match. After the self-proclaimed "Mexican Warrior" lost due to the Punjabi Giants vicious Vise Grip, Big Show presented him with a devastating knockout punch. When The Worlds Largest Athlete addressed The Deadman, his No Mercy opponent emerged with a chilling Throat Slash, indicating that Big Show would soon rest in peace.
Jeff Hardy, Batista, Rey Mysterio & Finlay def. JBL, Kane, MVP & The Brian Kendrick. (WATCH | PHOTOS) The All Star Eight-Man Tag Team Match featuring some of the juggernauts of sports-entertainment proved to be an extremely intense back-and-forth battle. In the end, amidst a flurry of fast-paced attacks by both sides, Jeff Hardy ultimately prevailed for his team, following up Rey Mysterios 619 on MVP with an explosive Swanton Bomb on the Ballin Superstar.
Intercontinental Champion Santino Marella def. United States Champion Shelton Benjamin. R-Truth involved. (PHOTOS) Santino Marella came to SmackDown for a Champion vs. Champion Match with Shelton Benjamin, bringing the Honk-a-Meter along with him. But, once the action began, it looked like the visiting champion would be visiting the Heartbreak Hotel. However, as The Gold Standard was playing out a beat down, R-Truth suddenly appeared in the crowd, staging a lyrical interruption that caused enough of a distraction for Santino to roll-up Benjamin from the top rope and steal the win.
WWE Tag Team Champions Carlito & Primo with CM Punk def. World Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase with Manu. NEWS/VIDEO FROM THURSDAY'S "iMPACT!" BROADCAST: MICK FOLEY'S ROLE AT BOUND FOR GLORY, JEFF JARRETT LASHES OUT AT KURT ANGLE, JOE AND STING GO POINT/COUNTERPOINT AND MUCH MORE
There are several news items to report from Thursday's "iMPACT!" as TNA Wrestling prepares for the upcoming "Bound For Glory" Pay-Per-View spectacular on Sunday, October 12!
- On the broadcast, TNA founder Jeff Jarrett had some very candid and angry words for Kurt Angle regarding a recent interview he did in the United Kingdom's "Daily Star" newspaper regarding his old boss, Vince McMahon. To get back at the Olympian, Jarrett aired footage of Angle from when he first came to TNA, including Kurt hammering McMahon. For his comments about TNA, Management Director Jim Cornette fined Angle $25,000!
- Wrestling icon Mick Foley made his first TNA Wrestling in-ring appearance and talked about leaving the WWE and some of the reasons he wanted to come to TNA! However, Foley was interrupted by an angry Kurt Angle. Before the broadcast ended, Foley dropped a bombshell by telling Angle he will be the special guest enforcer for the Jarrett vs. Angle match at "Bound For Glory" on October 12 in Chicago!
- In the Monster's Ball Qualifying match, The Latin American Xchange defeated The Motor City Machineguns to advance to the PPV bout. Later in the broadcast, after some trashing talking by Beer Money, Inc. brought out all the teams involved in the PPV bout, Jim Cornette stuck it to Beer Money by announcing the Monster's Ball match would now be for their TNA World Tag Team Championship! TNAwrestling.com has also revealed that former Chicago Bears star and wrestling personality Steve "Mongo" McMichael will return to the wrestling spotlight at Bound For Glory to be the special referee for the match!
- In a X Division Championship match, Sheik Abdul Bashir retained the gold by beating Jimmy Rave and Eric Young when he beat EY. After the bout, Bashir took great joy in making referee Shane Sewell raise his arm in victory.
- In six man action, the alliance of Booker T and Team 3D defeated AJ Styles, Christian Cage and Jay Lethal after more miscommunication between Cage and Styles.
- In Knockouts tag team action, the tandem of ODB and Rhaka Khan beat The Beautiful People when Rhaka got the pin. After the bout, Cute Kip came out to help Angelina and Velvet attack ODB and Rhaka, but Rhino hit the ring for the save!
-- The 2008 Survivor Series poster has been released and features Randy Orton. While original estimates had Orton returning to the ring in late October, there is a chance he'll be kept out of action until the PPV just to be safe. There are also hopes that John Cena will be healthy in time Survivor Series as well, since the event is being held in his hometown of Boston, Massachusetts.
-- Stone Cold Steve Austin's next film project, titled "Damage", will focus on an illegal underground fighting community. The project is not a WWE Studios film. Austin is playing the lead role of John Brickner, a recently paroled convict who is forced into the groups. The film will commence filming on 10/17 in the Vancouver, British Columbia area, directed by Jeff King from a script by Frank Hannah.
-- Undertaker was noticeably limping in the ring during certain spots in his matches on the overseas tour last week as one of his knees is bothering him. Taker had arthroscopic surgery during his time off and his knee was in worse shape than first thought. Additionally, he's in the beginning stages of arthritis. Following surgery, the expectation was that he'd be ready to return for good at his Hell in a Cell match with Edge at SummerSlam, but he took a few more weeks off from doing anything physical. Despite the lingering injury, he's still being booked on house shows in tag matches and his TV taping dark matches are usually kept short. It's been noted that he's often in tremendous pain backstage, but never complains about it and usually doesn't show it in the ring.
Jeff Hardy doesn't appear to be in any serious trouble following an incident at the Nashville International Airport two weeks ago, reports prowrestling.NET. An airport official deemed Hardy too intoxicated to take a flight home, and he wasn't allowed to board his scheduled flight as a result. A number officials breathed sighs of relief as some feared it was something more serious. However, the incident didn't help his standing in the company obviously, but it didn't really hurt it. Also, a number of his friends haven't noticed any signs to indicate that he's slipping back into his old habits, although, there were no red flags when he failed a drug test earlier in the year either.
