WWE released a few developmental wrestlers over the weekend including Fletcher Chase (Jason Garrison), Troy Jackman (Ian Richardson) and Aiden Frost (Jason Riggs).
Garrison was signed late last year following John Laurinaitis' visit to Ohio Valley Wrestling. Under the name Fletcher Chase, Garrison played a "book smart" heel. His speaking skills were said to be more advanced than his in-ring work.
Richardson is a former football player who was never able to project a distinct personality in Florida Championship Wrestling.
In Riggs' case, not too many wrestlers get second chances in developmental. He was released in the fall of 2006 but managed to get a second opportunity with the company following a successful tryout at FCW. Unfortunately, he came up short in reaching his dream again. As a result, he has announced his retirement from the industry. His MySpace page currently reads: "I officially retire from sports entertainment."
In addition to the aforementioned three, sources say a few more cuts in developmental were made. Some names are circulating, but they have yet to be confirmed as accurate.

Former TNA Knockout Jenna Morasca recerntly spoke out about her release from the company in an interview with The UK Sun. Morasca said the following: "The surgery was on the Tuesday and it was the first time I had ever asked TNA for time off. I really had to be home to take care of him. They called my agent on Monday night when they knew full well the surgery was on Tuesday and told him that I was fired. I thought the timing was really cruel and insensitive. Considering we weren't doing a taping for another three weeks, why couldn't they have waited a few more days?"
The current TNA tag team champion Booker T says hes missing one singles match against WWE star Shawn Michaels from his career resume, but he doesnt expect that the match will happen. Booker said in an interview that he needs to test himself against Michaels, who he says hes never wrestled in a singles match.
The only guy I havent wrestled in the ring one on one is Shawn Michaels. Hes the only talent I feel I need to test myself against, Booker told the Daily Citizen (Ga.) to promote this weekends TNA house shows in Georgia. Thats the one match that hasnt happened yet it may never happen but thats the one guy.
Booker also talked about his role in TNA. He said hes not concerned about elevating his career because he feels everyone knows who he is. He said his concern is elevating the younger stars. Bookers recent TV storylines have included a feud with AJ Styles over the made-up Legends Title and a tag team feud with Scott Steiner against Beer Money. Booker says he wants to take them to the next level.
For me at this stage of my game, I dont have to do anything for me, Booker said. Its about me trying to bring these guys to another level. My fans follow me all over the world. They know me wherever I go. So its not about me. Its trying to help these guys get to another position.

"It's not an issue with the WWE bosses," one source said. "It has been kept very personal and both Matt and Edge know about it, because Punk was man enough to tell both to their faces."
