    Return of DX?
    TripleH7.jpg Triple H image by ddg7059
HHH grabs the mic after the match, and says every week these guys beat him every week. He says he used to be good at this gang warfare stuff, but maybe he needs a new group. Or maybe he just needs to bring back an old group. He says maybe he'll bring back Evolution, but Randy's a jerk, Batista's injured all the time, and Flair's signing autographs at the VFW. No maybe he just needs to make one phone call. And if they're not down with that he's got two words for them…

STOPT STING OP BOUND FOR GLORY??????

Radio ads playing in LA are teasing the retirement of a legend at the TNA Bound For Glory PPV in October. Considering that Sting lives in California, it will likely be him.

It is not known if they will do a "win or retire" scenario or if he will announce an official retirement match.

Chris Masters profiel op raw bijgezet

    - WWE has added Chris Masters to the RAW roster page on their website. They wrote this about Masters' previous WWE run before being fired:

After being drafted to SmackDown, Masters took a brief hiatus from WWE. In the summer of 2009, Masters made a surprise return to Raw. With the same enviable physique and a restored drive, Chris Masters is ready to make another impact in WWE

    - The latest word on Michelle McCool is that her injury from Friday night is legit. She was defending the WWE Women’s Title against Eve Torres when her left knee got caught underneath her and went out. No word yet on the severity of the injury or how long she may be out. Michelle was scheduled to face Melina at the WWE live event last night in Bethlehem, PA but Katie Lea ended up taking her place.

The Great Khali vs. Charlie Haas (No Contest)
World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Hardy def. John Morrison (World Heavyweight Championship Match)

BALTIMORE – Flying high since finally winning the World Heavyweight Championship at Night of Champions, Jeff Hardy came to SmackDown to celebrate with the WWE Universe (PHOTOS | VIDEO). But being at the top didn’t come without cost. Hardy found himself already defending his title against John Morrison, and suffering a vicious attack from former champion CM Punk.

World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Hardy def. John Morrison (PHOTOS | VIDEO)
Just days after defeating CM Punk to win the World Title (recap), Jeff Hardy put his gold on the line against fiery young Superstar John Morrison. In his first-ever World Heavyweight Championship match, Morrison put Hardy to the test in an epic back-and-forth battle for gold. But the high-flyer prevailed, crushing The Friday Night Delight with a Twist of Fate followed up with a Swanton Bomb.

    CM Punk attacks Hardy
As Hardy basked in the glow of his first successful title defense, CM Punk came to the ring to apparently congratulate Hardy by raising his arm in victory. But then, in an ugly display of poor sportsmanship, The Straightedge Superstar viciously assaulted Hardy amidst a chorus of boos from the WWE Universe. The crazed ex-champion reigned down blow upon blow on Hardy, leaving him battered and beaten on the arena floor. Then, just when it appeared Punk was done, he attacked Hardy again, tossing his helpless body across the announce table and onto the arena floor.

Cryme Tyme def. The Hart Dynasty (PHOTOS | VIDEO)
At stake, an opportunity to compete for the Unified Tag Team Championship at SummerSlam. Cryme Tyme came up big, getting a win over The Hart Dynasty when JTG dropped Tyson Kidd with a Shout Out. Now, the tag team from Brooklyn, N.Y., is poised to take on Unified Tag Team Champions Chris Jericho & Big Show in perhaps the biggest match of their career. (Match preview)

    Check out the SummerSlam microsite.

Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio & Finlay def. Dolph Ziggler & Mike Knox (PHOTOS | VIDEO)
After losing to Intercontinental Champion Rey Mysterio at Night of Champions, Dolph Ziggler was looking to rebound in tag team action. Ziggler & Knox mounted a powerful offense, exhibiting control for most of the bout. However, just like at Night of Champions, the champion proved his superiority by getting the pinfall over the brash Ziggler.

The Great Khali vs. Charlie Haas (No Contest) (PHOTOS)
Standing at 7-foot-3, The Great Khali dominated Charlie Haas. But before Khali could finish off his opponent, Khali’s nemesis, Kane, came into the arena and manhandled Khali’s translator, Ranjin Singh. It looked as if Kane was going to drag Singh out of the arena. However, the enraged Punjabi Giant was able to drive The Big Red Machine back up the ramp. As the tension continues to mount between these colossal forces, how much longer until things boil over?

Melina & Eve def. Women’s Champion Michelle McCool & Layla (PHOTOS)
After their encounter at Night of Champions (PHOTOS), Michelle McCool and Melina clashed again in tag team action. This time, Melina earned some revenge when she dropped the champion with a quick-striking Primal Scream to get the pinfall.

    PAUL HEYMAN NAAR TNA?

    Source: PWTorch.com

There is a feeling among friends of Paul Heyman that he would accept a position with TNA if he had power beyond just writing the shows. Heyman apparently feels TNA needs an overhaul both on the talent side and in the office but doesn’t believe Dixie Carter would give him so much power, so he isn’t taking the idea of working for TNA seriously. Likewise, Carter hasn’t reached out to Heyman regarding a creative position yet despite recommendations.

Heyman does have detractors within TNA, primarily those who fear they would lose power or even their jobs if Heyman was brought in and given the power he wants. Meanwhile, others simply don’t have confidence in his abilities anymore.

Heyman’s name has come up within TNA before, and there are many stories of people badmouthing him to Dixie Carter. While most of the locker room seems open to the idea, there’s bad blood between Heyman and Team 3D and some other former ECW stars who have shared stories about mismanagement in ECW.

On the other side of the coin, Heyman has had good relationships with Kurt Angle, Bobby Lashley, Shawn Daivari, and Ken “Mr. Kennedy” Anderson who is expected to sign with TNA eventually. He’s also had a good rapport over the years with TNA head of talent relations Terry Taylor, whose stock within the company seems to be rising.

Nevertheless, it might be a difficult sell to Carter, who has been hearing bad stories about Heyman for years. Plus, there are already some within the company who feel that Heyman publicly saying he would “never” work for TNA was a snub and the primary reason why Carter shouldn’t consider bringing him in.

Details on Brian Kendrick's release from WWE

Details on Brian Kendrick's release from WWE

The latest victim of WWE's dreaded "future endeavors" announcement was The Brian Kendrick, and a PWInsider.com report sheds the first bit of light on the matter.

According to the report, Kendrick's release can largely be attributed to his backstage attitude and motivation as a performer. The internal feeling was that while Kendrick did what he was told, he carried a negative attitude and gave the impression that he did not deeply care about being there. WWE thus saw little potential for Kendrick to breakout as a valuable member of the roster and opted to sever its ties with the wrestler.

It remains to be seen if Kendrick's release is a compounded consequence of his behavior or if a specific incident brought WWE officials' concerns to a boil.

Sources are also quick to mention reports that Kendrick was one of WWE's most frequently-fined Superstars for marijuana use, although it is unclear if that played any role in his release--under the Wellness Policy, there is no punishment, beyond the fine, for using the drug.

    TNA iMPACT Results - July 30, 2009

    TNA iMPACT Report - July 30th, 2009
    Report by PWInsider, Richard Trionfo

We are live on tape from Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida and your announcers are Don ‘Gem Mint 200’ West and Mike ‘After 200 shows, do we get free Fast Passes?’ Tenay.

We have an Earlier Today moment of Kurt Angle yelling at the members of the Main Event Mafia and he is not happy after what happened to them. He wants prisoners.

The Main Event Mafia comes to the ring and Kurt Angle has something to say. He says that someone was trying to make a name for themselves last week at the expense of the Main Event Mafia and TNA Management. When you cross the boss, it is not good for anyone. It is not good for ratings, business, or that individual. Angle says that as the godfather of the greatest force in wrestling, there is a severe price to be paid. Angle tells Lashley that they had an agreement and for some reason, Lashley took a great big dump on that agreement. Angle wonders why Bobby would do that. He says that people do stupid things for no reason. Angle says that the Main Event Mafia does not deal with people like that and he wants Bobby Lashley to come out, or they can go find him in the back.

Bobby Lashley comes out and he has a baseball bat. Lashley says that they had an agreement and the Main Event Mafia is the greatest group of wrestlers ever. Of course he wanted to be a part of the group, but then he saw what the group was all about. They aren’t hungry any more while he is still hungry. Lashley says that he wants titles while they want to hustle and steal titles. Lashley says that he cannot be bought like Joe and Taz.

Angle tells Lashley that he cannot be bought because he is young and stupid. He says that they make up over 75 percent of the TNA payroll. They don’t get around like they used to but they are smarter than anyone. They use and abuse people to get what they wanted.

Lashley says that he has an offer that Kurt cannot refuse. . .

But first, Mick Foley comes to the ring. Mick says that they have a little offer for Kurt. Mick says that he wanted to thank Bobby Lashley for saving his butt on Impact last week. That was by kicking some Main Event Mafia butt all over the Impact Zone. Mick says that he wanted to ask Kurt a favor. He wants Kurt to look into the camera at the board of directors because they are waiting for the ratings. Mick suggests a tag team match with him and Bobby Lashley versus Kurt and Kevin Nash. Both singles titles will be on the line in the match. Mick asks Kurt if he is going to do it or will he continue to take food from management’s kid’s mouth. Angle agrees to the match.

    We go to commercial.

We are back with a look back at Hernandez’s upset victory over the newest male member of the Main Event Mafia.

We see footage of Joe from during the commercial and he attacks the inanimate objects in the back. Taz tells Joe that Hernandez did not beat him, Joe beat himself. Taz sees the camera and he tells them to get out of there.

Lauren is with Matt Morgan and Matt says that none of the opportunities have been handed to him. He has fought to get these opportunities. Matt says that he is going to secure his spot in the Main Event Mafia because they have everything that he wants. Matt says that he is a pay per view main event moment ready to happen and tonight it will happen.

Jeremy Borash is waiting for A.J. Styles, but check out the Mobile Text Hotline with Mean Jere. A.J. is finally there and Jeremy asks A.J. about the last few weeks when he lost the title to Kevin Nash and what happened with Eric Young. A.J. says that maybe he underestimated Kevin Nash, but he never saw it coming with Eric Young. A.J. says that he sees the best in everyone and that bit him. A.J. tells Eric that he is no different than the Main Event Mafia. A.J. vows that their paths will cross again. A.J. says that Matt Morgan is a bully and A.J. says that he was the guy who took on the bullies. If Matt Morgan is looking for a fight, he has found it.

    We go to commercial.

We are back and it is time to hear from Bobby Lashley and Mick Foley and Jeremy Borash is with them. Jeremy asks Bobby about his debut on Lockdown and where he was before returning last week. Bobby says that he was talking to Kurt about joining the Main Event Mafia and training to fight Bob Sapp. Bobby says that he saw a man fighting for the company last week and he changed his mind. Bobby says that he saw someone who was leading the company and all of the money that Kurt was waving at him meant nothing.

Mick says that it was quite a compliment. Mick says that he was fighting for his pride and Bobby made a decision that was the right one for everyone. Mick says that some decisions are best reached in a split second and some need a lot of thought. It is in everyone’s interest to get one of the titles away from the Main Event Mafia tonight.

Match Number Two: Matt Morgan versus A.J. Styles in Match One of the Best of Three Who Joins Kurt Angle and Sting in the Main Event at Hard Justice

Morgan has Styles up for a side slam, but then he drops Styles and uses his boot for a cocky cover. Morgan with an Irish whip and then he tosses Styles into the turnbuckle and gets a near fall. Winner: A.J. Styles

Traci is in the back with Lauren and Lauren reminds us what happened last week. Traci says that she did not dupe anyone. She did what she had to do to keep her career going. She was at home and she wanted to be a part of the company but they did not have anything for her. Traci says that she is sick of a company that she has sacrificed for and they have nothing for her. Lauren says that maybe they are doing the best they could. Traci says that she was offered the money by Kurt Angle and now she is a member of the Main Event Mafia.

Taylor Wilde says that Traci was the reason why she got into the business. Traci tells Taylor that she should have gone into a different profession.

If he wanted to be a star as a wrestler, he would have to be an American citizen. Eric says that he came to the US and he made it. He made it on his own and he says that he is living his dream. Eric says that he learned that for all the good press this country gets, it deserves more bad press. Every other country hates the United States. They hate the corrupt government and dirty politics. Vince McMahon unhappy with WWE's current product?

Vince McMahon unhappy with WWE's current product?

    Credit: F4WOnline.com

It is being said that Jeff Hardy's likely departure, as well as the injuries of Edge/Matt Hardy, have really put a lot of stress of Vince McMahon. The word is that people in the company are aware of the main event depth issues and there are people unhappy with how guys like Jack Swagger and MVP are already being pushed down to a mid-card level with no signs of being able to move up. McMahon is said to be more aware now about issues talked about for years such as the top stars are getting older and the developmental program needing work. Apparently, McMahon is unhappy with WWE's current product despite the fact that business is still doing well despite the economy.

WWE Champion Randy Orton def. Primo
    William Regal def. Yoshi Tatsu
    John Morrison def. Tyson Kidd

On WGN America this Thursday night, WWE Champion Randy Orton made his “WWE Superstars” debut in a match against Primo. Also, John Morrison fought Tyson Kidd just one day before facing Jeff Hardy for the World Heavyweight Title, while William Regal sought retribution for his loss to Yoshi Tatsu last week on ECW.

Only four days after pinning John Cena to retain his title and three days after finding out he’ll have to defend it against the former champion again at SummerSlam, The Legend Killer debuted on “WWE Superstars” and made an example of Primo. As he said prior to the match, Orton intended on dissecting the second-generation Superstar in the ring and did just that, leaving Cena with much to think about. It wasn’t a one-sided match by any means as Primo surprised The Viper with his quick offense, but once Orton had his sights set on the athletic, young Superstar, it was only a matter of time before he hit the RKO. Once The Legend Killer struck, he hooked Primo’s leg for the 1-2-3 and headed to the locker room knowing that if Cena was watching, then his message was delivered loud and clear.

An in-ring veteran like the Englishman will never be happy with a loss, especially when it comes after facing Yoshi Tatsu. This week on “WWE Superstars,” Regal achieved redemption by defeating the young Japanese Superstar. Tatsu has quickly proven himself to be a formidable opponent in the ring as the Blackpool, England, native found out. However, Regal was much more pleased with the result of this week’s match because, while Yoshi was bent over favoring his leg, the Englishman devastated him with a vicious knee to his head leading to the pinfall.

Just one night before he would fight for World Heavyweight gold, The Friday Night Delight had his hands full with The Hart Dynasty and overcoming the faction by pinning Tyson Kidd. At times, it looked a little like David Hart Smith & Natalya’s presence at ringside might play into the outcome of the match, but after they both shielded Kidd from Morrison on the outside, the referee had no choice but to send them packing back to the locker room. In the end, despite a hard-fought brawl from his opponent, The Shaman of Sexy tasted victory by nailing the Starship Pain on Kidd.

KOOPT DIXIE CARTER AAN JEFF JARRETT UIT?

Dixie Carter to buy out Jarrett's share of TNA?

    Credit: PWTorch.com

TNA president Dixie Carter did not reveal her immediate plans at the TV tapings last week, but backstage rumors are swirling of her possibly buying out Jeff Jarrett and making creative changes.

The office was apparently in disarray last week, as some office workers weren’t sure who to speak with regarding things they would normally have gone to Jarrett about. Carter has apparently spoken to some of the top wrestlers personally regarding the situation, but aside from them, the only people in the know are her inner-circle. There likely won’t be any official announcement on her decision for a while.

“Dixie has seized complete control of the company and she will be going over the Jarrett allies (closely),” said one TNA source. “If anyone in her inner circle has something bad to say about those people, they could be gone.”

While Carter has technically been in control of the company since she purchased a majority share, she hasn’t really asserted her power and allowed Jarrett to run the wrestling end of the operation. She has a reputation of avoiding confrontation, but the feeling is that she’s stepping up at a crucial time that will define the company going forward.
