    TNA iMPACT Report - July 30th, 2009
    Report by PWInsider, Richard Trionfo

We are live on tape from Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida and your announcers are Don ‘Gem Mint 200’ West and Mike ‘After 200 shows, do we get free Fast Passes?’ Tenay.

We have an Earlier Today moment of Kurt Angle yelling at the members of the Main Event Mafia and he is not happy after what happened to them. He wants prisoners.

The Main Event Mafia comes to the ring and Kurt Angle has something to say. He says that someone was trying to make a name for themselves last week at the expense of the Main Event Mafia and TNA Management. When you cross the boss, it is not good for anyone. It is not good for ratings, business, or that individual. Angle says that as the godfather of the greatest force in wrestling, there is a severe price to be paid. Angle tells Lashley that they had an agreement and for some reason, Lashley took a great big dump on that agreement. Angle wonders why Bobby would do that. He says that people do stupid things for no reason. Angle says that the Main Event Mafia does not deal with people like that and he wants Bobby Lashley to come out, or they can go find him in the back.

Bobby Lashley comes out and he has a baseball bat. Lashley says that they had an agreement and the Main Event Mafia is the greatest group of wrestlers ever. Of course he wanted to be a part of the group, but then he saw what the group was all about. They aren’t hungry any more while he is still hungry. Lashley says that he wants titles while they want to hustle and steal titles. Lashley says that he cannot be bought like Joe and Taz.

Angle tells Lashley that he cannot be bought because he is young and stupid. He says that they make up over 75 percent of the TNA payroll. They don’t get around like they used to but they are smarter than anyone. They use and abuse people to get what they wanted.

Lashley says that he has an offer that Kurt cannot refuse. . .

But first, Mick Foley comes to the ring. Mick says that they have a little offer for Kurt. Mick says that he wanted to thank Bobby Lashley for saving his butt on Impact last week. That was by kicking some Main Event Mafia butt all over the Impact Zone. Mick says that he wanted to ask Kurt a favor. He wants Kurt to look into the camera at the board of directors because they are waiting for the ratings. Mick suggests a tag team match with him and Bobby Lashley versus Kurt and Kevin Nash. Both singles titles will be on the line in the match. Mick asks Kurt if he is going to do it or will he continue to take food from management’s kid’s mouth. Angle agrees to the match.

Match Number One: Hernandez versus Samoa Joe with Taz

They lock up and Joe with a kick to the leg. Joe with more kicks to the leg but Hernandez with a series of body blocks. Joe chops Hernandez but Hernandez blocks a suplex and Hernandez with a delayed vertical suplex. Hernandez with a series of Irish whips but Joe with an STO as Hernandez charges at him. Joe with a kick to the head. Joe with the chop, kick, and knee drop combination for a near fall. Joe with a chop and punch but Hernandez with forearms but Joe with a head and arm JoePlex for a near fall. Joe with punches in the corner. Hernandez tries for a power bomb but Joe with a back body drop. Joe with a running back elbow and an enzuigiri. Hernandez goes to the turnbuckles but Joe with a kick and Joe tries for a superplex but Hernandez holds on and pushes Joe off. Hernandez is able to hold on and he hits a frog splash for the three count.
    Winner: Hernandez

Hernandez is with Jeremy Borash after the match and Hernandez says that he is back and healthy and he will become the first Latino TNA champion.

    We go to commercial.

We are back with a look back at Hernandez’s upset victory over the newest male member of the Main Event Mafia.

We see footage of Joe from during the commercial and he attacks the inanimate objects in the back. Taz tells Joe that Hernandez did not beat him, Joe beat himself. Taz sees the camera and he tells them to get out of there.

Lauren is with Matt Morgan and Matt says that none of the opportunities have been handed to him. He has fought to get these opportunities. Matt says that he is going to secure his spot in the Main Event Mafia because they have everything that he wants. Matt says that he is a pay per view main event moment ready to happen and tonight it will happen.

Jeremy Borash is waiting for A.J. Styles, but check out the Mobile Text Hotline with Mean Jere. A.J. is finally there and Jeremy asks A.J. about the last few weeks when he lost the title to Kevin Nash and what happened with Eric Young. A.J. says that maybe he underestimated Kevin Nash, but he never saw it coming with Eric Young. A.J. says that he sees the best in everyone and that bit him. A.J. tells Eric that he is no different than the Main Event Mafia. A.J. vows that their paths will cross again. A.J. says that Matt Morgan is a bully and A.J. says that he was the guy who took on the bullies. If Matt Morgan is looking for a fight, he has found it.

    We go to commercial.

We are back and it is time to hear from Bobby Lashley and Mick Foley and Jeremy Borash is with them. Jeremy asks Bobby about his debut on Lockdown and where he was before returning last week. Bobby says that he was talking to Kurt about joining the Main Event Mafia and training to fight Bob Sapp. Bobby says that he saw a man fighting for the company last week and he changed his mind. Bobby says that he saw someone who was leading the company and all of the money that Kurt was waving at him meant nothing.

Mick says that it was quite a compliment. Mick says that he was fighting for his pride and Bobby made a decision that was the right one for everyone. Mick says that some decisions are best reached in a split second and some need a lot of thought. It is in everyone’s interest to get one of the titles away from the Main Event Mafia tonight.

Match Number Two: Matt Morgan versus A.J. Styles in Match One of the Best of Three Who Joins Kurt Angle and Sting in the Main Event at Hard Justice

Styles avoids Morgan at the start of the match and then Styles jumps up to apply a side head lock. Styles avoids a boot and returns to the side head lock. Styles gets a near fall followed by a drop kick. Styles with a rear chin lock. Morgan runs Styles into the corner but he misses a charge. Styles with punches but Morgan catches Styles and catapults Styles over the top rope to the floor. Morgan brings Styles back into the ring from the apron and then he toys with Styles as he kicks him in the head. Morgan with elbows in the corner and then he hits a running splash into the corner. Morgan has Styles up for a side slam, but then he drops Styles and uses his boot for a cocky cover. Morgan with an Irish whip and then he tosses Styles into the turnbuckle and gets a near fall. Morgan chokes Styles in the ropes but Styles moves when Morgan tries for a boot against the ropes and Morgan crotches himself. Styles with a chop and punches. Styles with a drop kick and then he hits the Phenomenal drop kick. Styles with a flying clothesline into the corner and then he hits the Phenomenal springboard forearm for a two count. Morgan with a knee to the midsection. Morgan tries for a side slam but Styles escapes and hits the Pele Kick. Styles with a springboard 450 splash for the three count.
    Winner: A.J. Styles

Traci is in the back with Lauren and Lauren reminds us what happened last week. Traci says that she did not dupe anyone. She did what she had to do to keep her career going. She was at home and she wanted to be a part of the company but they did not have anything for her. Traci says that she is sick of a company that she has sacrificed for and they have nothing for her. Lauren says that maybe they are doing the best they could. Traci says that she was offered the money by Kurt Angle and now she is a member of the Main Event Mafia.

Taylor Wilde says that Traci was the reason why she got into the business. Traci tells Taylor that she should have gone into a different profession.

    We go to commercial.

We are back with a look back at Tara’s problems with Angelina Love, Velvet Sky, and Madison Rayne.

Don West is with Tara in the ring for an interview and Don asks Tara about her time in WWE. She says that it was a dream but all good things come to an end. Don mentions the ‘controversy’ at Victory Road. Tara mentions the sexual favors Madison gave Slick Johnson and Don stops her because it is a family show. Tara says that she is in the best shape of her life and she came to TNA to prove that she still has ‘it’. She says that she does not start anything that she finishes. Don mentions Poison and Tara says that she needs to introduce Poison to Don.

Match Number Three: Awesome Kong, Tara, and ODB with Cody Deaner and Raisha Saeed versus Angelina Love, Velvet Sky, and Madison Rayne

Angelina and Tara start things off and they lock up with Tara slapping Angelina but Angelina with punches of her own. Tara with a shoulder tackle. Tara with punches to Velvet and Madison. Kong and Tara battle in the ring and Kong knocks Tara out of the ring and then Kong sends her tag team partner into the ring post. Kong with a chop to Tara.

Back in the ring, ODB is slamming her opponents. All three attack ODB before the referee evens the odds. Velvet with elbow drops to ODB and then Angelina is tagged in. Angelina with a drop kick to ODB after a snap mare by Velvet. Angelina punches ODB and then chokes ODB in the ropes. Velvet attacks ODB while Angelina distracts the referee. Oh no, the hat is turned around and Angelina calls Cody a loser. That loser grabs Angelina and kisses her. ODB with a rollup for the three count.
Winners: ODB, Tara, and Awesome Kong

We see Eric Young and the rest of his foreign contingent are walking in the back as we go to commercial.

We are back and it is time to see how the World Elite formed.

Speaking of the World Elite, they come to the ring. Brutus Magnus has the mic and he has something to say. Brutus introduces the leader of World Elite, Eric Young. Eric points out that he is the center of attention and he asks if this is where everyone wanted him because he was the clown. Eric asks who is laughing now. Growing up in Canada, he heard a lot of stories about the U.S.A. being the land of the free and the home of the brave. The truth is that he heard so much and he knew this is where he had to be. If he wanted to be a star as a wrestler, he would have to be an American citizen. Eric says that he came to the US and he made it. He made it on his own and he says that he is living his dream. Eric says that he learned that for all the good press this country gets, it deserves more bad press. Every other country hates the United States. They hate the corrupt government and dirty politics. The fault lies with the people who live here. Eric says that he is one of the greatest wrestlers in the world and the fans would only cheer him if it made him laugh. He says that is proof of the ignorance of the people. Eric says that they are going to take back from the Americans like the Americans took from him. Eric brings out the hair clippers and Eric says that they are going to be who they want to be and he is going to be who he wants to be. Eric shaves his head. Eric says that the entertainment ends and the violence begins. Eric tells Team 3D to come out and put a smile on the face of the fools because he is pulling the strings now.

Team 3D comes out and Ray is on the mic. Ray tells them to listen very carefully and this is America so he tells them to love it or leave it. He tells them not to insult the fans because they are the reason why they are standing in the ring. He calls them a bunch of punks with big mouths.

Match Number Four: Team 3D versus British Invasion for the IWGP Tag Titles in a Tables Match

The match starts with punches and then Magnus and Williams are thrown out of the ring. Bashir tries to interfere and they back body drop Bashir as we go to commercial.

We are back and Williams punches Ray on the floor and then he connects with a European uppercut. Devon and Brutus are in the crowd and Brutus is sent into the wall. Williams and Magnus with clotheslines to Team 3D as a table is set up. They set for a double suplex through the table, but Devon moves the table. Devon punches Williams and Magnus and then he clotheslines Williams over the top rope to the floor. Rob is in the ring and Devon splashes the referee. Rob Terry with a choke slam to Ray. Devon power bombs Magnus through the table but since the referee is still out cold, Eric Young hits Devon with the title belt. Eric revives the referee and he sees Devon on the broken table and he calls for the bell.

It is time for more from the Jesse Neal training sessions with Rhino.

We go to the back where Jeremy Borash enters Mick Foley’s office and Scott Steiner and Booker T are attacking Mick Foley and Bobby Lashley. Kurt Angle runs in and hits Lashley with the Big Poppa Pipe. We go to commercial.

Match Number Five: Kurt Angle and Kevin Nash versus Mick Foley and Bobby Lashley in a Titles are on the Line Match

Angle puts Foley in the ankle lock and Foley tries for the ropes but Angle pulls him into the center of the ring and Angle laces the leg.

Vince McMahon unhappy with WWE's current product?

Vince McMahon unhappy with WWE's current product?

    Credit: F4WOnline.com

It is being said that Jeff Hardy's likely departure, as well as the injuries of Edge/Matt Hardy, have really put a lot of stress of Vince McMahon. The word is that people in the company are aware of the main event depth issues and there are people unhappy with how guys like Jack Swagger and MVP are already being pushed down to a mid-card level with no signs of being able to move up. McMahon is said to be more aware now about issues talked about for years such as the top stars are getting older and the developmental program needing work. Apparently, McMahon is unhappy with WWE's current product despite the fact that business is still doing well despite the economy.

WWE Champion Randy Orton def. Primo
    William Regal def. Yoshi Tatsu
    John Morrison def. Tyson Kidd

On WGN America this Thursday night, WWE Champion Randy Orton made his “WWE Superstars” debut in a match against Primo. Also, John Morrison fought Tyson Kidd just one day before facing Jeff Hardy for the World Heavyweight Title, while William Regal sought retribution for his loss to Yoshi Tatsu last week on ECW.

Don’t know where to catch “WWE Superstars”? Find WGN America in your area. Can't see “WWE Superstars” on WGN America in your area? Stay with WWE.com for full results, photos and video clips of all the action.

WWE Champion Randy Orton def. Primo
    (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Only four days after pinning John Cena to retain his title and three days after finding out he’ll have to defend it against the former champion again at SummerSlam, The Legend Killer debuted on “WWE Superstars” and made an example of Primo. As he said prior to the match, Orton intended on dissecting the second-generation Superstar in the ring and did just that, leaving Cena with much to think about. It wasn’t a one-sided match by any means as Primo surprised The Viper with his quick offense, but once Orton had his sights set on the athletic, young Superstar, it was only a matter of time before he hit the RKO. Once The Legend Killer struck, he hooked Primo’s leg for the 1-2-3 and headed to the locker room knowing that if Cena was watching, then his message was delivered loud and clear.

William Regal def. Yoshi Tatsu (PHOTOS | WATCH)
An in-ring veteran like the Englishman will never be happy with a loss, especially when it comes after facing Yoshi Tatsu. This week on “WWE Superstars,” Regal achieved redemption by defeating the young Japanese Superstar. Tatsu has quickly proven himself to be a formidable opponent in the ring as the Blackpool, England, native found out. However, Regal was much more pleased with the result of this week’s match because, while Yoshi was bent over favoring his leg, the Englishman devastated him with a vicious knee to his head leading to the pinfall.

John Morrison def. Tyson Kidd (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Just one night before he would fight for World Heavyweight gold, The Friday Night Delight had his hands full with The Hart Dynasty and overcoming the faction by pinning Tyson Kidd. At times, it looked a little like David Hart Smith & Natalya’s presence at ringside might play into the outcome of the match, but after they both shielded Kidd from Morrison on the outside, the referee had no choice but to send them packing back to the locker room. In the end, despite a hard-fought brawl from his opponent, The Shaman of Sexy tasted victory by nailing the Starship Pain on Kidd.

KOOPT DIXIE CARTER AAN JEFF JARRETT UIT?

Dixie Carter to buy out Jarrett's share of TNA?

    Credit: PWTorch.com

TNA president Dixie Carter did not reveal her immediate plans at the TV tapings last week, but backstage rumors are swirling of her possibly buying out Jeff Jarrett and making creative changes.

The office was apparently in disarray last week, as some office workers weren’t sure who to speak with regarding things they would normally have gone to Jarrett about. Carter has apparently spoken to some of the top wrestlers personally regarding the situation, but aside from them, the only people in the know are her inner-circle. There likely won’t be any official announcement on her decision for a while.

“Dixie has seized complete control of the company and she will be going over the Jarrett allies (closely),” said one TNA source. “If anyone in her inner circle has something bad to say about those people, they could be gone.”

While Carter has technically been in control of the company since she purchased a majority share, she hasn’t really asserted her power and allowed Jarrett to run the wrestling end of the operation. She has a reputation of avoiding confrontation, but the feeling is that she’s stepping up at a crucial time that will define the company going forward.

    BURKE NAAR TNA
    elijahburke6bz6.jpg image by ABear729
    Source: The Wrestling Observer

According to sources, former WWE star Elijah Burke has signed with TNA Wrestling and will be debuting in the company soon with a new ring name.

Burke had a tryout match with TNA back in late May in a match with former WWE developmental wrestler Shawn Spears who spent time briefly on the Smackdown brand.

Both got rave reviews by TNA officials following their match. Jeremy Borash also hinted recently on his official Twitter page that "Elijah Burke" would not be coming to TNA, seeming to suggest that he would be coming in under a new name. Burke was released by WWE in October 2008 and has recently spent time in Ohio Valley Wrestling (a former developmental territory for WWE) where he got his start.

    Sheamus def. Goldust
ECW Champion Christian def. Zack Ryder in a non-title match

BALTIMORE — At Sunday’s Night of Champions, Christian defeated Tommy Dreamer to reclaim the ECW Title. Tonight, the two Superstars meet face to face for the first time since that night. Will the old friends shake hands or throw fists? And when will Dreamer enact his rematch clause? These questions and more are answered on tonight’s ECW on SyFy.

Tyler Reks def. Paul Burchill (w/ Katie Lea Burchill) (PHOTOS)
On last Tuesday’s ECW on Syfy, Paul Burchill attacked newcomer Tyler Reks after the California native defeated him fairly in the ring. This underhanded assault was clearly still on Reks’ mind as he walked down the aisle for his rematch with The Ripper. Displaying an aggressive side that we have yet to see from the young competitor, Reks took Burchill from pillar to post and made him pay for his classless act. With another decisive victory over the Englishman, Reks has shown the WWE Universe that he’s not just some laidback surfer dude — he’s an intense Superstar worth watching.

Tonight’s local competitor should’ve known better than to step in the ring with Vladimir Kozlov. The 6-foot-8, 302-pound Soviet Cyborg made short work of his outmatched opponent, plowing through him with the intensity and power of a Russian tank. Unfortunately, Kozlov’s hapless opponent’s terrible night didn’t end there. After Kozlov pinned the man, the monstrous Ezekiel Jackson stormed into the ring and began beating on the fallen competitor — the same thing Kozlov did after Jackson’s match last Tuesday. Clearly, these two runaway trains are on a very dangerous collision course.

    Sheamus def. Goldust (PHOTOS)
The explosive Irishman named Sheamus continued his winning ways with an impressive victory over Goldust. While the peculiar veteran utilized his unorthodox offense to challenge the newcomer, the self-proclaimed “Celtic Warrior’s” scary strength and unmatched aggression were simply too much for The Bizarre One to handle. With a streak of impressive wins, the pale brute is quickly making a serious impact in ECW.

ECW Champion Christian addresses the WWE Universe (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Days after defeating Tommy Dreamer for the ECW Championship at Night of Champions, Christian returned to the Land of Extreme with the gold over his shoulder and a smile on his face. But while Captain Charisma spoke about the importance of his victory, he was interrupted by Tommy Dreamer. The ECW Original informed Christian that he wanted his rematch next Tuesday — and the contest would be an Extreme Rules Match.

ECW Champion Christian def. Zack Ryder in a non-title match (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Immediately after he was informed that he will be defending his newly won ECW Championship against Tommy Dreamer next Tuesday, Christian had to step in the ring with rising star Zack Ryder. Still, Captain Charisma was able to keep his mind on the aggressive Long Island native. Ryder displayed his trademark viciousness and put up an amazing fight, but the ECW Champion outmaneuvered him and scored the victory with a Killswitch. Will Dreamer be able to avoid the same fate next Tuesday?

Maryse dealing with a serious injury?

    Credit: PWInsider.com

The word going around is that Maryse will meet with Dr. James Andrews in Birmingham, Alabama where she will have her knee examined. Apparently Maryse has been dealing with problems with her knee and the thinking is she could be dealing with a serious injury. This could explain her lackluster match with Mickie James at last night's WWE Night of Champions pay-per-view.

Mark Henry def. Carlito ("Beat the Clock" Match)
Divas Champion Mickie James, Kelly Kelly & Gail Kim def. Beth Phoenix, Rosa Mendes & Alicia Fox
MVP vs. Chris Masters (double count-out) ("Beat the Clock" Match)
United States Champion Kofi Kingston def. The Brian Kendrick
Triple H vs. Cody Rhodes (time expired) ("Beat the Clock" Match)
Hornswoggle def. Chavo Guerrero (Blindfold Match)
Evan Bourne def. Jack Swagger ("Beat the Clock" Match)
John Cena def. The Miz ("Beat the Clock" Match)
Cryme Tyme def. Unified Tag Team Champions Chris Jericho & Big Show (disqualification)

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Shaquille O’Neal knows how to make an impact – and not just because he’s a 7-foot, 325-pound Goliath. When the NBA icon accepted the honor of being Raw’s celebrity guest host, he stunned the packed Verizon Center by announcing that his first order of business would be to stage a series of “Beat the Clock” Matches to determine the No. 1 contender for the WWE Championship.

Cryme Tyme def. Unified Tag Team Champions Chris Jericho & Big Show by disqualification; Shaq shoved Big Show (PHOTOS | WATCH)
In light of his confrontation with Unified Tag Team Champions Chris Jericho & Big Show at the top of the program, Raw’s special guest host Shaq handled himself like a professional as special outside enforcer while Jericho & Show battled Cryme Tyme. Even as Show administered back breaking moves and pointed to Shaq, the NBA great kept his cool.

When the match ended, however, thanks to Show relentlessly bludgeoning them and refusing to let up, that’s when Shaq made his move. He challenged his equally colossal tormentor and shoved him outside of the ring. As the Verizon Center erupted in cheers, Shad & JTG joined Shaq to celebrate.

John Cena def. The Miz; Cena to face WWE Champion Orton at SummerSlam (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Before his match against John Cena, The Miz did what he does best: Talk smack. The cocky Superstar assured the audience that he would prevent Cena from advancing to SummerSlam as the No. 1 contender for the WWE Title. Once the bell rang, however, it was time to back up his words with action – that’s when things unraveled. Miz failed to endure Cena’s STF and instead chose to tap out. After the match, WWE Champion Randy Orton stepped into the ring and stared down the man who longs to take away his title at SummerSlam in four weeks.

Evan Bourne def. Jack Swagger (PHOTOS | WATCH)
It wasn’t supposed to happen this way, at least not in Jack Swagger’s mind. “The All-American American” thought he would make quick work of high-flying Evan Bourne, beat the clock and become the No. 1 contender for the WWE Championship. Bourne, however, had other ideas. As quickly as Swagger would apply a maneuver, Bourne was able to kick out of it until the smaller Superstar found a spot and seized upon it, pinning Swagger for the win and robbing him of his chance at a title opportunity.

Hornswoggle def. Chavo Guerrero in a Blindfold Match (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Things continue to look up for Hornswoggle. The lucky leprechaun notched his fourth victory in a row against Chavo Guerrero, this time in a Blindfold Match, by order of Raw guest host Shaq. Unfortunately for Chavo, he was the only one blindfolded!

Triple H vs. Cody Rhodes (time expired) (PHOTOS | WATCH)
Like a couple of gnats, The Legacy have been buzzing around making life miserable for Triple H. At Night of Champions, just as it appeared either The Game or John Cena would emerge victorious, Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase attacked, allowing Randy Orton to retain the WWE Title. Twenty-four hours later, as Triple H prepared for his "Beat the Clock" Match against Rhodes, DiBiase attacked with a surprise crack to the back of The Game's leg.

Despite that, when Triple H faced Rhodes in the ring, he nearly beat Henry’s time, but DiBiase interfered, at which point time expired and so did Triple H’s chances at facing Orton at SummerSlam. Later in the night, The Game issued a challenge to Rhodes & DiBiase to face him in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match next week on Raw.

United States Champion Kofi Kingston def. The Brian Kendrick (PHOTOS)
After proving his mettle in a Six Pack Challenge at Night of Champions, United States Champion Kofi Kingston continued his winning ways. While his opponent, The Brian Kendrick, mouthed off to Jerry “The King” Lawler, claiming that Lawler had cheated in his losing encounter with him the week before, Kingston wisely took advantage and laid out the mouthy Superstar for the pin.

MVP vs. Chris Masters ended in double count-out (PHOTOS | WATCH)
In the second “Beat the Clock” Match of the night to determine the No. 1 contender for the WWE Championship, MVP faced off against a returning Chris Masters. The Ballin’ Superstar immediately had his hands full with his formidable foe. Eventually, the match ended in a double count-out when Masters slapped the Master Lock on MVP outside the ring.

Mickie James, Kelly Kelly & Gail Kim def. Beth Phoenix, Alicia Fox & Rosa Mendes (PHOTOS)
One night after claiming the Divas Title from Maryse at Night of Champions and becoming only the second woman to have won both the Divas Title and Women’s Title, Mickie James found herself back in the ring. This time, her partners, Kelly Kelly & Gail Kim wanted a piece of the action against Beth Phoenix, Alicia Fox & Rosa Mendes. As a result, Kim tagged herself in and stepped it up to pin Fox for the win.

Mark Henry def. Carlito, sets time to beat (PHOTOS | WATCH)
In the first “Beat the Clock” Match of the night, Mark Henry faced off against Carlito. The World’s Strongest Man defeated The Backstabbing Boriqua and set the time to beat at 6:49.

Chris Jericho & Big Show confronted Raw guest host Shaquille O’Neal; Shaq set main event: Unified Tag Team Champions vs. Cryme Tyme with Shaq as special outside enforcer (PHOTOS)
Call him the NBA’s most dominant player, a 15-time All Star, an Olympian and a 4-time NBA champion. Now, Shaquille O’Neal can add one more flourish to his résumé: Raw celebrity guest host. The massive center for the Cleveland Cavaliers addressed the WWE Universe and announced that he had arranged five “Beat the Clock” Matches to determine the No. 1 contender for the WWE Championship at SummerSlam. Whichever Superstar won in the least amount of time – Triple H, MVP, Jack Swagger, Mark Henry or John Cena – would challenge Randy Orton for the title.

As if Shaq hadn’t already started off the night with a slam dunk, he then threatened to stuff Unified Tag Team Champion Chris Jericho. The egomaniacal Superstar informed the 7-footer that he was offended not to be consulted before the show. Jericho, however, would not challenge Shaq himself. Instead, he left that to his towering teammate, Big Show. The World’s Largest Athlete posted up against Shaq, who refused to back down. As a result, Shaq arranged a main event pitting the Unified Tag Team Champs against Cryme Tyme with Shaq serving as special outside enforcer.

foto of vince na het feestje

    Ron Whitworth sent this in:

HHH/Cena beat Randy Orton/Big Show in two minutes. Orton tagged in Show and walked out with his belt. After suplexing Show, Cena gave Show the FU, then HHH gave Show the pedigree for the pin. afterwards was a 15 minute bithday celebration for HHH which involved the entire locker room including Vince and Batista.

    Edgehead sent in the following:

After the dark match main event, a birthday party was held for Triple H. The Raw roster came out, and Vince McMahon sang happy birthday to his son-in-law. The wrestlers threw a cake at Hunter. Batista, who is from the D.C. area, came out with a cake of his own at the end of the party.
