OFFICIAL RESULTS FROM THE DESTINATION X PAY-PER-VIEW EVENT
Klik op de afbeelding om de link te volgen OFFICIAL RESULTS FROM THE DESTINATION X PAY-PER-VIEW EVENT

Results will be posted on this page throughout the event – you may need to hit refresh every few minutes to see the latest updates as the broadcast unfolds!

The Countdown Preshow kicked off with Jeremy Borash and TNA Knockout Leticia welcoming the TNA stars to the arena for tonight’s event! The first limo to arrive was Robert Roode with Ms. Brooks, with Eric Young serving as their driver!

Up next, Leticia and Jeremy were outside the arena for the arrival of World Heavyweight Champion Christian Cage. Leticia gave Cage a DHL letter, which was a message from Tomko to Cage telling him he was in Japan and would be back as soon as Cage gave him his title shot he promised him! As Cage exited, a hearse pulled up outside as a casket was unloaded for the “Last Rites” match!

Up next, Robert Roode Inc. made their way to the ring, with Roode using Eric Young as a human foot-stool to get into the ring! Roode demanded that Eric Young begin to follow his instructions better, as Roode owns him according to the stipulations of his contract with Robert Roode, Inc. Young grabbed the microphone and said that “his friend” told him he doesn’t have to listen to Roode, at which point Roode told Eric that is he quits, he breaks their contract and he would never wrestle again for TNA! Roode ended up slapping Eric and Young threatened to fire back, but he drew down and left the ring with his head down.

Outside, the next limo pulled up with Scott Steiner exiting with two beautiful models. Steiner was already celebrating with champagne, claiming he would demolish Kurt Angle tonight. As Steiner exited, another limo pulled up as Japanese legend The Great Muta exited!

A few minutes later, Team 3D arrived with wrestling legend Johnny Rodz!

Up next to arrive were Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe – who came out of the same limo! Angle and Joe seem united tonight as they prepare for individual combat.

In the arena, Jeremy Borash was standing on top of the Elevation X structure to give fans a preview of the battleground for AJ Styles and Rhino later tonight.

The live Pay-Per-View event is up next!

Up first on the Pay-Per-View was the Ghetto Brawl with The Latin American Xchange vs. Team 3D! It was anything-goes, no disqualification as the two teams immediately began brutalizing each other with weapons. Both teams eventually went into the crowd, with the brawl going all over the arena. The fight went back to the ring, with both teams exchanging near falls. Brother Ray gave Devon the order to get the tables, at which point several members of the Latino nation hit the ring to assault 3D, which was all legal! Johnny Rodz then hit the ring to help, but he was overpowered by the numbers. However, several Team 3D supporters came in to even the odds. With the ring cleared, the LAX and Team 3D continued their battle, with Brother Ray launching himself out of the ring and taking everyone out! With Devon and Homicide fighting in the ring, Alex Shelley came out and nailed Devon with his camera. Shelley came off the top with a frog splash on top of Devon as Homicide scored the pin for he LAX win.

Up next is the double bullrope match with James Storm and Jackie Moore vs. Petey Williams and Gail Kim. Storm and Moore attacked Petey and Gail before the bell, but they quickly turned it around. Gail tied Jackie to the corner and chopped her repeatedly while Williams assaulted Storm on the outside. Back in the ring, Williams used the bullrope to lash Storm while Gail and Moore kept slugging each other on the outside. Williams went for the Canadian Destroyer on Storm, but Moore nailed Williams in the crotch, allowing Storm to hit the superkick on his nemesis for the win!

Up next is Austin Starr vs. Senshi where one man must make the other submit to the Cross Face Chicken Wing to win! The two X Division stars traded high-flying moves and chops to begin the encounter. During the bout, Mr. Backlund made his way out to support Senshi, who unleashed his martial arts skills against Austin Starr. Senshi was the first to lock in the submission, but Starr escaped. Senshi went for his top rope “Warrior’s Way” leap, but Starr knocked the referee into the topes, sending Senshi crashing to the outside. Back inside, Starr began to argue with Mr. Backlund, which allowed Senshi to lock in the chicken wing, forcing Starr to tap out for the win! After the bout, Backlund got in the ring to congratulate Senshi, but Starr locked the chicken wing on the former World Champion! Referees then hit the ring to pull Starr off Mr. Backlund!

Up next is the Voodoo Kin Mafia vs. Christy Hemme’s team, which turned out to be The Heartbreakers! BG and Kip dominated The Heartbreakers early on, with Christy even attempting a low blow on Kip – but Kip was wearing a cup! Lance Hoyt then came out and hoisted Hemme on his shoulders and took her from the ringside area to make it a fair fight between both teams. The Heartbreakers gained the momentum, with both of them double-teaming Kip as he was unable to make the tag to BG James. The VKM eventually made the comeback, with BG James hitting the pump handle slam for the win! Hemme came back to the ring after the bout with a riding crop and began screaming at The Heartbreakers for the loss.

It’s time for the X Championship match with Chris Sabin defending against Jerry Lynn – two out of three falls. The action was fast and furious in the beginning, with Lynn scoring the first fall on Sabin after a tornado DDT! Lynn pumped up the crowd by mocking Sabin, with the crowd chanting “Jerry! Jerry!”. At one point, Lynn catapulted from the ropes and dove on Sabin in the crowd! Back in the ring, Sabin tied it up when he hit a powerbomb on Lynn and used the ropes to get the pin. A few minutes later, Sabin hit the Cradle Shock on Lynn, but the X Division pioneer was able to kick out. Sabin then tried for a Cradle Piledriver, but Lynn escaped. Then, a masked man emerged from the back wearing a Sting mask. He distracted Lynn, allowing Sabin to get the deciding pinfall to retain the X Championship! After the bout, the masked man attacked both Sabin and Lynn and revealed himself to be “The Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels, who had a much more darker appearance than before!

Up next it’s time for the Elevation X between AJ Styles and Rhino! The action began on the outside with both stars trading punches. AJ was the first to climb the steel structure, challenging Rhino to follow him! Rhino slowly made his way up, unable to get his balance due to Styles shaking the top of the structure. AJ and Rhino traded punches in the middle high up, with Rhino nearly falling off! With Rhino hanging on for life, Styles punished him with kicks. Rhino regained his footing and nearly knocked AJ from the top, but Styles kicked Rhino and hid inside the steel girders! With Styles hidden, Rhino didn’t know where to go! With the fan’s help, Rhino eventually located his nemesis and began to choke him. AJ escaped and regained the advantage, smashing Rhino’s head into the platform and trying to toss him off. AJ then went for the Styles Clash, but Rhino reversed it and floored AJ with punches. AJ then pulled powder from his trunks to blind The War Machine, but Rhino slapped his hands and blinded Styles! Rhino hit the GORE on AJ, sending him off the side! AJ was hanging on with everything he had, but Rhino stomped his fingers until AJ lost his grip and took the fall down below! The War Machine is the winner of the first-ever Elevation X match, as medical personnel attended to an injured Styles below.

It’s time for Kurt Angle vs. Scott Steiner! Out first was Steiner , who was accompanied by two of his lovely freaks, followed by the Olympic gold medalist. The two TNA stars traded power moves to start off, with Angle hitting a vicious headbutt on Big Poppa Pump, opening up a cut on his nemesis and bloodying him. On the outside of the ring, Steiner nailed Angle with a clothesline and smashed him into the steel steps. Steiner then attempted to neutralize Angle back in the ring with a headlock, but Angle reversed it with three German suplexes! Angle hit the Olympic Slam on Steiner, but Big Poppa Pump kicked out. Angle then latched on the Ankle Lock submission, but Steiner launched his nemesis into the corner and then put the Steiner Recliner on. Angle fought out, then both stars traded Olympic Slams with Angle gaining the advantage by slapping on the Ankle Lock again. Steiner escaped and tried to hit a top-rope belly-to-belly on Angle, but Angle hit a sunset flip from the top to get the pin on Steiner!

Up next is the “Last Rites” match between Sting and Abyss! The action got underway as soon as Sting came out as Abyss attacked him at ringside. Back in the ring, Sting hit two splashes on the icon, but Abyss smashed his nemesis with one of several glass candleholders surrounding the ring, opening up Sting and bloodying him. With blood pouring down Sting’s face, Abyss called for the deathbed to be lowered from above. Abyss took a bloodied Sting and stuffed him in the casket, but he wouldn’t let Abyss close the lid. Abyss then brought one of the heavy tombstones into the ring and placed it in the corner. Abyss went to slam Sting into it, but the icon reversed it and put Abyss in the Scorpion Deathlock. Sting then put the tombstone on Abyss’ face and cracked him with the baseball bat. Sting then shoved Abyss in the casket, but Abyss fought out and chokeslammed Sting into the casket – caving in the metal deathbed! Abyss set up two chairs and put a tombstone on it, then perched Sting on the ropes, but Sting pushed Abyss off and set him falling through the stone! A bloodied Sting then shoved Abyss in the casket and shut it, winning the bout! The deathbed containing Abyss was then raised to the top of the arena.

Led out by his native fire dancers, Samoa Joe hit the ring for his shot at the gold, with fans filling the ring with streamers! Out next was the World champion Christian Cage, followed by the in-ring introductions. Joe started out with a series of kicks on the champion, then leveled Cage with a running shoulderblock. The fight spilled out into the fans, with Joe brutalizing the champion before Cage nailed a DDT on the ring apron to gain the momentum. Joe tried for a Musclebuster, but Cage reversed it and tried to wear down Joe by choking him out. Cage went for a top rope leap, but Joe kicked him in mid-air and regained the momentum. After an incredible series of near-falls by Joe, the challenger latched Cage in a cross-face, but the champion got to the ropes for the break and hit the Unprettier out of nowhere, but Joe kicked out! Cage attempted to leave the match, but members of TNA’s X Division forced the champion back into the ring. Joe went for the pin, but the referee didn’t get there in time to register the count. Joe went for a kick, but nailed the referee! Cage went to the outside and nailed Joe with a steel chair and went for the pin, but the referee was out cold. Joe then nailed the Musclebuster on Cage, but the champion kicked out at the last second! Joe locked in the clutch, but Cage went over Joe’s head and used the ropes for leverage for the pin! Your winner and still champion – Christian Cage!

    RESULTATEN Impact TNA 7-03
Klik op de afbeelding om de link te volgen OFFICIAL TNA IMPACT RESULTS FROM MARCH 8, 2007
    By Mike Kerrigan

Impacts starts as Kurt Angle and Samoa Joe are in the ring. Kurt says that this Sunday at Destination X, he will be Joe's biggest fan. Kurt says when Joe wins the NWA Title, he and Joe can finish their unresolved business. He then proceeds to call out Christian Cage. Cage obliges, but not without backup. He says that they will beat them as a family, as the Christian Coalition. Cage tells Joe and Angle to find a partner to face the Coalition in a six man tag match later in the show. Angle says he has someone in mind that can be described as being crazy.

The first match of the broadcast is the team of the Voodoo Kin Mafia and Lance Hoyt squaring off against Serotonin. We learn during the match that Raven has renamed the members of his following -- Kaz (Kazarian), Martyr (Matt Bentley) and Havoc (Johnny Devine). Kaz gets the early advantage as he chop blocks Kip James. Yet Kip gives Kaz a cutter out of nowhere and tags in Hoyt. Lance clears the ring and gives the Texas Tornado Slam to Havoc to get the win. After the match, Raven comes to the ring to serve up some punishment to Serotonin for losing. Yet, Kaz actually stands up to his mentor before getting caned; only to eventually back down and receive his punishment anyway.

Jeremy Borash is backstage with the Christian Coalition and Cage is going crazy trying to figure out who Angle and Joe's mystery partner is. He believes it to be Abyss and wants to confront the monster, but Steiner and Tomko want nothing to do with it. Cage then recruits a reluctant Borash for the mission.

Back from the break and Mike Tenay, Leticia, Jeremy Borash, and SoCal Val are in the ring. Tenay says he is there to welcome the newest member of the TNA family and spanish broadcast team, Hector Guerrero. Hector says that it is a privilege to be part of the TNA family and thanks the fans, the Guerrero Family and his late brother Eddie, for inspiring him. Just as Mike Tenay was going to present Hector with a plaque, Abyss' music hit. The monster came to the ring and had a stare down with SoCal Val. Val tried to persuade the monster to leave by handing him the plaque, but was met with a vicious Black Hole Slam for her efforts.

Back in Jim Cornette's office, Jim announces a few more matches for Destination-X. He says that James Storm and Jackie Moore will face Petey Williams and Gail Kim in a "Double Bull Rope Match". He tells Sabin that his X-Division Title defense against Jerry Lynn will be a "2 out of 3 Falls Match". Then goes on to tell Mr. Backlund that Austin Starr or Senshi must lock in the Crossface Chicken Wing in order to win their match. Cornette thinks he's done, but Christy Hemme says that she wants a team of her choosing to face the Voodoo Kin Mafia at the PPV. Cornette reluctantly agrees.

The second match of the night saw Robert Roode, Eric Young, and James Storm take on the team of Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt, and Petey Williams. Before the match could start, Sonjay wanted Lethal to do his Macho Man impersonation again. As Jay started Roode came in a hit Lethal from behind. The match was back and forth until Sonjay had the upper hand and went for a springboard moonsault. Just then Gail Kim came to the ring and attacked Jackie Moore. As Dutt looked on, James Storm hit him with the Superkick and got the victory.

JB and Christian Cage are in the back trying to get close to Abyss. Cage tells Abyss that everyone treats him like meat, but Cage would never do that. He tells Abyss that if he wants a family, he thinks that can be arranged. Cage then told Abyss that Borash was a peace offering and Abyss brutally assaulted JB and threw him into a cage.

A video of Team 3D is shown and Brother Devon tells LAX that in the "Ghetto Brawl" match at the PPV, there will be no referee or security to tell them what to do. Brother Ray then tells LAX that they will keep fighting untill they have revenge and the Tag Team Titles.

The main event begins as the Christian Coalition takes on Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe and a mystery partner who is later revealed to be Rhino. After the referree finally restored order in the match, Rhino went to give Tomko a Gore, but AJ Styles came down and interfered. AJ climbed up the Elevation X, only to have Rhino chase right after him. Once Rhino got back down to the floor he was met with an attack from Cage and Tomko. After a quick ace cutter, Rhino tags in Angle and Kurt gives german suplexes to everyone in sight. Chaos ensues again as Rhino hits Tomko with a Gore, but is met with an Unprettier from Christain Cage. Joe hits Cage and gives him the Musclebuster, but Steiner gives Joe an overhead belly to belly suplex. Angle then gives Steiner an Olympic Slam and puts him in the Ankle Lock. Just as it seemed Steiner was going to tap, Abyss came to the ring and attacked Kurt. The lights go out and Sting is seen on one side of the arena, then almost immediately on the other side. The lights go out one more time and Sting is in the ring and begins the attack on Abyss as Impact ends.

    Bad News Brown Past away
World Wrestling Entertainment is saddened by the death of Allen Coage (professionally known as Bad News Brown). The former WWE Superstar passed away on Tuesday, March 6 in his hometown of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He was 63.

Prior to entering WWE, Coage was a world-class athlete, competing and winning a bronze medal in Judo at the 1976 Summer Olympics. Perhaps his biggest victory in sports-entertainment came at WrestleMania IV, where he won a Battle Royal that included some of the industry's biggest stars.

Preview:The New Breed vs. the ECW Originals

When Mr. McMahon visited ECW on Sci Fi for the first time in January, he immediately made it clear that he looked upon the pioneers of ECW – men like Tommy Dreamer, Sandman, Sabu and Rob Van Dam – with disdain. The key to ECW future, he said, was new blood, young, polished, smart athletes like Elijah Burke, Matt Striker, Marcus Cor Von and Kevin Thorn.

And so the turf war between the ECW Originals and the New Breed – a clash between ECW’s past and present – began. The members of both teams may hate to admit it, but they may have more in common than they realize. Once upon a time, as Dreamer pointed out on ECW on Sci Fi, he and the other ECW Originals were young, innovative and considered brash upstarts, just like the New Breed. And the members of the New Breed are hungry, eager to make their mark and to show their opponents and the sports-entertainment world that they are the present and the future in the Land of the Extreme.

When ECW began in Philadelphia more than a decade ago, the ECW Originals were that hungry. Now, the New Breed may have reignited that fire in the Originals. We’ll know for sure only after the smoke clears following the clash between both factions at WrestleMania 23.

Both sides have traded victories in singles and tag team competition for months on ECW on Sci Fi and neither has been able to gain a decisive advantage. But their Eight-Man Tag Team showdown at WrestleMania 23 may decide once and for all who will rule today’s ECW and take it into the future.

When World Heavyweight Champion Batista steps into the ring at WrestleMania 23 to face Undertaker, he will be there to defend his title against the most impressive streak in the world of sports-entertainment. Fourteen wins and zero losses is the amazing record Undertaker has compiled throughout his career at WrestleMania’s WWE. Over the years, Undertaker has dismantled foe after foe en route to establishing a record that may never be approached again.

SmackDown’s Kane is no stranger to Undertaker, as the two faced off at WrestleMania XIV and WrestleMania XX, respectively. Each time, Kane looked to end the streak, and both times was unable. The Big Red Monster, a man of few words, has an ominous message for The Animal heading toward April 1 in Detroit.

"Batista’s chances are not good at all," said Kane. "14-0 at WrestleMania and Undertaker’s always at the top of his game. So odds aren’t good for Batista. He should try not to get dropped on his head,” Kane continued. “He’s got to be in tip-top form; Undertaker’s going to be. He has to be as good as he possibly can be on that particular night, or he’s not going to have a chance. No one does.

Another Superstar familiar with Undertaker is Raw Superstar Randy Orton. The Legend Killer faced Undertaker at WrestleMania 21, when WrestleMania went Hollywood. The outcome of the match, however, was anything but a storybook ending for the third generation Superstar.

"I had all the pride and confidence as I headed into WrestleMania 21, and Undertaker had his way with me," said Orton. "I don’t think there’s much of a chance for Batista to win this one. I really hate saying that because I’m all for the younger talent, the newer guys like myself," he continued. "Undertaker is Undertaker – he’s the Phenom. He’s a legend that cannot be killed, that cannot be destroyed."

Orton though, did reserve praise for the World Heavyweight Champion.

"Batista – he’s one of the biggest, strongest men in this business. He’s done things nobody would ever be able to do, or ever will be able to accomplish." Orton’s praise quickly changed to a somber tone.” This is one thing Batista and I have in common – it’s that we can’t beat Undertaker."

As for any advice he would have for former Evolution running mate Batista and what to expect, Randy Orton’s message is clear.

"If you see the energy that [Undertaker] carried to the ring at WrestleMania, then you’re prepared for what you will face at WrestleMania. That is where the magic happens. That is where the record lives, in those moments, in the energy Undertaker brings to the ring."

Perhaps the person with the greatest advice for Batista would be the man who faced Undertaker in a No Disqualification Match at WrestleMania X8 – Ric Flair. The former 16-time World Champion believes differently than Orton and Kane.

"As great as I think Undertaker is, I think it might be Batista’s time," Flair said. "I’m not sure Undertaker can overpower Batista. A year ago I would not have said this, but Batista has gained tons of experience in this past year."

However, the Dirtiest Player in the Game feels that a match like this can be determined by one thing: desire.

"A match like this can come down to whoever wants it the most,” Flair said. “Undertaker and I had a brawl at WrestleMania X8 at the SkyDome – foreign objects involved, and lots blood," he continued. "If it comes down to that, Undertaker is dangerous, and could be more prone to succeed."

April 1 in Detroit, at WrestleMania 23, the only opinions that will matter are those of the World Heavyweight Champion Batista and the challenger to his title, the man with the perfect record of 14-0 at WrestleMania – Undertaker.

    Stone COld returns
    Rattlesnake's return
    By Zack Zeigler
Written: March 5, 2007Monday night on Raw, the familiar sound of breaking glass that signals Stone Cold Steve Austin’s entrance reverberated through the speakers of the sold-out US Airways Center in Phoenix. As Austin descended toward the ring amid a booming applause that shook the arena walls, the question of who would be the special guest referee at WrestleMania 23’s Battle of the Billionaires was definitively answered.

Stone Cold realizes he’s been away from a WWE ring for quite some time. Regardless, if anyone believes that an extended absence is enough to take the venom out of the Texas Rattlesnake, Austin dares them to think again. In fact, the former WWE Champion told WWE.com that he will emphasize his point live and in person on ECW from Tucson (10/9 CT tonight on Sci Fi), where he plans to raise hell and toss back a few—beers and ECW Superstars, if need be.

It’s anticipated that the mudhole-stompin’ Texan will show up to reveal his views on proper officiating. But given his history with Mr. McMahon, can Austin call the Battle of the Billionaires down the middle? Will past bias cloud the Rattlesnake’s judgment? Expect some “stunning” answers when Stone Cold visits the Land of Extreme tonight on ECW on Sci Fi.

Massacre In New York, Angle Thrown Out And More

Note: Check back to TNAwrestling.com next week for a new Don West autographed special on ShopTNA.com! The special will feature multiple TNA star autographs (all current and former champions!) as well as your first chance to get the new AJ Styles DVD before it goes on sale!

There are several major news items to report from Thursday’s “iMPACT!” on SpikeTV as TNA Wrestling heads towards next Sunday’s “Destination X” epic event live on Pay-Per-View!

MASSACRE IN NEW YORK – THE LAX STRIKES AGAIN!
On Thursdays “iMPACT!” broadcast, Alex Shelley aired footage of his latest “epic” – The Latin American Xchange attacking wrestling legend Johnny Rodz in Brooklyn, New York! Rodz trained Brother Devon in professional wrestling and is a close friend of the Team 3D member. After airing the footage, Brother Ray came out to confront Shelley for taking part in the assault – which brought out Shelley’s mentor Kevin Nash! With Ray’s back turned, The LAX took the opportunity to hit the ring and brutally attack their nemesis – ultimately putting him through a wooden table!

CORNETTE ATTEMPTS TO TAKE CONTROL OF THE STEINER/ANGLE CHAOS
As expected, the bitter hatred between Kurt Angle and Scott Steiner resulted in mass chaos on Thursday’s broadcast. However, TNA management director Jim Cornette was determined to keep the peace! After a brawl between Angle and Steiner nearly resulted in the Olympic gold medalist putting his ankle lock on Cornette, the management director has Angle thrown out of the building for the remainder of the night!

WITH HELP FROM CAGE, TOMKO BEATS SAMOA JOE!
In the main event of Thursday’s broadcast, Samoa Joe faced off against Christian Cage’s juggernaut Tomko. However, with Angle thrown out earlier, it was open season on “The Samoan Submission Machine”. With help from the World Champion, Tomko was able to beat Joe, but that was only the beginning as the duo – joined by Scott Steiner - continued their assault on Joe – until Abyss hit the ring! After chasing off Cage and Tomko, Abyss nailed Joe with his Black Hole Slam. With James Mitchell eliminated from TNA thanks to Sting, Abyss has been uncontrollable in recent weeks.

Also on Thursday’s “iMPACT!” on SpikeTV…

    - “Wildcat” Chris Harris took part in a sitdown interview with Leticia to discuss a possible return to TNA Wrestling. According to Harris, his eye is still nowhere near 100 percent. However, that isn’t going to stop him from attempting to exact revenge on his former America’s Most Wanted partner James Storm.

    - In addition on the broadcast, Sting – laying in a casket – once against delivered a message to Abyss about their “Last Rites” match at “Destination X”. According to Sting, life as Abyss knows it is about to change dramatically! What does Sting mean with these cryptic words? Hopefully we’ll find out more next Thursday night!
